REXY is HOT! He is a GREAT teacher. I loved his class. He is fair and very helpful. He offers a lot of extra credit, so you have to be really lazy to fail his class. I learned a lot from him. It is to bad he only teaches two classes. I would love to have more teachers like him! Oh yea...Take Psyc B1A and B40 with Mr. Gonzales.. DO NOT TAKE ESPINOZA

He is a really good teacher. He's fun to be with. I loved his class so much. It's really easy. Just take notes and pay attention and it should be a breeze. And.... the plus is that he is HOT! I agree with that!

i was nervous at first to take Psychology in the first place but once I attended his class for the very first time I felt really comfortable finishing his class. He makes the lectures interesting.

i always thought psychology was going to be hard class but Rex proved me wrong. i definitely loved his class. always found a way to keep it interesting somehow. just be in class, take the notes and you'll be fine. feel like you're not doing so good? write the extra credit assignments. no biggie! his class is a breeeeeze!!

Great class to take because of the material Mr. Gonzales provides is with professionalism and humor(to relieve tension with in the class). Making the class enjoyful and informative.

iv'e gotta agree w/ some of the ppl here, as long as you listen and the material sticks to you..your set for the tests. the extra credit is great, he provides you with alot of it. so take advantage of it. ummm.. his sports bike is AWESOME! =)

Great class. Very interesting. Highly recommended. You will work but you will also get more out of this class than most. For those of you whining about the difficulty, it is called COLLEGE people.

He is one of the best teachers bakersfield college has. I enjoyed his class very much. Students that are willing to work hard and put in the effort will do just fine. But, students that want to be lazy and want an easy class shouldn't take him. Keep up the good work Mr.Gonzalez.

Awesome professor!!! My grade was not an A+ but I learned a lot. Mr. Gonzalez explains everything very thorough.

Professor is vulgar. If you cant handle that, dont take the course. He also provides very controversial and anti-religious points to stimulate debate, conversation and learning. If you are easily offended, dont take it. If you are there to LEARN, all of these things will aid in your learning and you will pick up more than with any other prof.

Dont listen to these comments. REX is one of the best professors out there. You will never be bored in class. He is funny and manages to keep your attention the 3 hours of class. However, if you're looking for an easy A, this is not your choice. He is a very hard grader.

Rex Gonzalez is an outstanding teacher. The lectures are interesting and very informative. I have had classes that have been three hours long and they were BORING. I'm currently taking his class so i decided to rate him since all these comments are negative and dumb! He's very chill and interesting! No hw just lecture plus notes. One 10pg paper, midterm and final! He's super easy and lets you rewrite your paper and midterm and gives a lot of EC. I definitely recommend him!

He's awesome! Interesting lectures. Slightly liberal, which I appreciate. I'd even venture to call him enlightened. He is HOT, fit, dresses well. You can tell he was in the military bc he is always fresh from the barber shop. He gives extra credit opportunities just abt every class. Very approachable if you're struggling with a concept. Gave plenty of extra credit. Tests are multiple guess and essay. Tons of information covered. Allowed us to redo paper with corrections for a higher grade. He does not spoon feed, so be ready to work hard.

If you take his class be prepared to work hard and study as much as you can. His lectures are fun, informative and very entertaining. The way he grades is no joke and this class should be taken very seriously. I loved his lectures because he speaks his mind. Overall he is a great guy!

If you want to pass this class you NEED to put 110% and more. be ready to study and study. He is not afraid to give you a zero!. or a big fat F. He has NO chill when it comes to grading.

Dr. Gonzales is the man. His lectures are insightful, intriguing, and informational. He expects his students to be able to synthesize information and think critically. He is super liberal and does share his view on the subject matter being presented, but he also encourages class discussion and is respectful to students who do speak up.

Loved his class!!! His passion for psychology is noticeable. Lectures heavy but makes it really educational and funny as well, so makes the lectures even more interesting. Rex's by far the best professor I ever had. Don't get me wrong, you have to come to class, participate, take notes and study. HELLO IT'S COLLEGE!! you're expected to act like an adult, he might disagree w/ you & that's ok. I took Rex for Human Sexuality, and it was an AMAZING class. In fact, this class was so good that it should be a mandatory health class that must be taken by all enrolled into college. Regarding Rex, he is a very astute and passionate lecturer having an obvious natural talent for teaching which makes for a great college experience.

PsychB1A was a great class, made even better by a professor that is really knowledgeable and very passionate about the subject matter. I thoroughly enjoyed this class as it is very challenging and actually made me feel like a true college student. Rex is very clear about his expectations; show up, take sufficient notes, write a decent paper & pass!

Rex is the best! His class should be mandatory in 1st semester. He teaches lessons for life, not for a grade. You might disagree with him or vice versa & that's ok. Its college, you're supposed to have an open mind & discuss your views. If you show to class, take good notes & participate you'll pass. heavy lecturer. Lots of extra credits. DO THEM!!

Rex will challenge your beliefs and it's up to you to decide if you'll be offended. You'll have the chance to either learn or solidify your beliefs. (hint: it's a good thing to be forced to think about why you believe what you believe). Just memorize who he talked about and what they did. Turn in your paper early for critiques. Don't fear the man.

He gives really great lectures, but the tests are very hard. I wish he would've used canvas and gave us homework I learn better. His grading is kinda of idiotic but make sure to start the 10 page essay like the first week.

Mixed emotions but I'm lucky to have passed. Professor Gonzalez is an easy-going person, very laid back and is very knowledgeable in his field. Word of warning though, the lectures consist of solely notetaking and for good reason. Any notes taken prior to tests, MEMORIZE THEM. I did terrible on the midterm and did much better on the final.
