She was a very good Math teacher. Lecture is mainly about going over problems that you will be doing on that nights homework. She only makes you turn in about one assignment every week/other week. She has the T.A. give weekly quizzes in recitation.

If you are good at math this course shouldn't be too difficult. She's tends to move thru things even if it seems unclear. Her teaching style is not very helpful to students. She will send you to the math lab for any questions and doesn't explain grades very well. Lots of homework and tests. Tests aren't too long, but can be confusing at times.

It's fairly easy to understand the subject material if you keep up in the book. Relying only on lecture will get you lost. Instructor tends to float through lesson regardless of class's comprehension, but seems very nice. Absolutely impossible to pay attention, even for 50 minutes. She has made the class a lot harder then previous semesters. I studied harder than any other class, went to Si, personal tutor & still had to drop.

So, if you're not good at basic algebra, find another teacher. She expects you to know it as soon as you walk in the door. That being said, you REALLY need it for the later chapters.
