She was a very good Math teacher. Lecture is mainly about going over problems that you will be doing on that nights homework. She only makes you turn in about one assignment every week/other week. She has the T.A. give weekly quizzes in recitation.
Nice person, but if you don't remember anything from High School math, aren't confident in your math abilities, or haven't taken the remedial college math, don't sign up for her class, she will leave you in the dust.
She gets very confused.
amazing math instructor-doesn't move too fast in lecture, very clear and passionate and will help anyone if they aren't understanding. definitely a top professor in my opinion.
She was so difficult to approach and when I did she wasn't very understanding or helpful. Do not take her if you have trouble with math and test anxiety. Her teaching skills aren't the greatest either.
Whether the class understands the material or not, the class must go on. She spent most of the time bragging about the precal book she is righting instead of teaching and often used it in class instead of the required textbook. I learned more from my recitation instructor than her.
If you are good at math this course shouldn't be too difficult. She's tends to move thru things even if it seems unclear. Her teaching style is not very helpful to students. She will send you to the math lab for any questions and doesn't explain grades very well. Lots of homework and tests. Tests aren't too long, but can be confusing at times.
teacher was very nice, sometimes moved through chapters quickly, but whenever e-mailed answered questions in a timely manner and was helpful. she also posted grades pretty fast online as well as the homework, which was very helpful
It's fairly easy to understand the subject material if you keep up in the book. Relying only on lecture will get you lost. Instructor tends to float through lesson regardless of class's comprehension, but seems very nice. Absolutely impossible to pay attention, even for 50 minutes. Lecture is as useful to those awake as those asleep.
Would not stop talking about her textbook she was writing. I missed half of the classes and easily got an A. Just go to the recitation and you'll be fine.
She's an alright teacher but would be much better if she'd stop trying to make the class laugh with silly jokes. Class was pretty easy and got an easy A. My recitation teacher COULD NOT SPEAK ENGLISH unfortunately so try and get a good rec.
She was a great teacher! I had her for Statistics. Very easy, I made an A. She drops the lowest two homework assignments. She remembers me and says hi even though I talked to her once. I would definetly recommend this teacher.
I think she's adorable. Her jokes are so bad they're funny.
She makes a lot of mistakes. Talks about the book she is writing alot. She also makes jokes, that are really stupid, but make her seem super cute. She's super nice. You'll hear about statistics all the time. Her mind is everywere, but she's a really nice lady, and very adorable.
Absolutely wonderful class. Attendance is somewhat mandatory, but only if you're borderline passing/failing. Very easy. Lots of quizzes and homework, but many are dropped. While it's really easy she still forces you to learn a lot. Some of the homework isn't mandatory as well, but problems very similar show up on quizzes.
Not bad at all. Her jokes were corny but who cares. Like someone else said they were so corny they were funny. I don't understand why people got so angry at them. I have had much worse math techers.
The lecturer is straight forward and easy to understand. She might be fast sometimes but its because of the workload the class has. Its made up with the recitation classes though. She has stale jokes, talks about her book she's almost publishing but she's overall a sweetheart. Do your homework and quizes and tests and you'll score an easy A.
She has problems explaining, coherently, her thoughts and concepts. Jokes are stale and the book references will be in the double digits in one class period. Very poor test preparation. Her answers on test and quizzes are outside of the realm of reality, 212-degree bowl of soup??? (Ref. Newton?s law of cooling)
She's amazing, her classes are straightforward and will answer even the dumbest of questions. I had an awful college algebra prof.and she helped me a lot by simply going to class and I love the fact that she tries to lighten the mood with jokes.
You have weekly homework assignments and quizzes which are pretty easy. Her exams are somewhat challenging. She also likes to tell random stories and corny jokes.
Amazing teacher! Makes the math simple to understand. She does give a bunch of homework, but if you do the homework and do the quizzes, you should be perfectly fine on the test. I miss her teaching skills now that I am in higher level math courses. She also tells really corny jokes that somehow relate to math, and she takes about her cows.
She's a very good teacher! Pre cal is a hard class, and you will have to study. But her tests were very fair, and she was always available during office hours and explained things well in class. There's a lot of homework and quizzes but they help you prepare for the tests anyways. She is by far the best math teacher I've ever had!
Took her for precal. Real nice and understanding lady. Top notch. Take this class if you have trouble with math. Can miss up to 3 classes. If you do the homework and quizzes the tests will seem easy. Drops 2 quizzes and 4 homeworks. Makes cory jokes but she is cute so you can't help but laugh.
Made pre cal very easy. Laugh at her cheesy jokes and go to class everyday. very nice person.
This is the kind of professor you want to have if you are not a genius. She is capable of teaching various levels of Math. She gives a lot of opportunities to pass. e.g gives 14 quizzes and drops the 3 or 4 lowest grades.
Such a great Professor. I have taken a couple of math courses and I did learn a lot and I made A's.
She makes precalculus easy. Her books Algebra demystified and precalculus demystified will help you a lot too and they are 9.99 each. This profesor will give you too many opportunities to make an A
If you are about to take a math class and Huettenmueller is teaching it, take it. You will like it.
Dr. Rhonda H. is awesome, I wont say much, just take her class and you will find out.
This class is a little hard but math is not my strong suite. If you are good at math at all you will do just fine in this class. She makes a lot of jokes that aren't that funny but it still makes the class a little better.
I don't like math at all and Mrs. H was one of the best math teachers I've ever had. Pre-Calculus is hard, and if you want to make it as easy as possible, you will take Mrs. H. She drops plenty of low grades and her tests are not terribly difficult. Just attend, do the homework and quizzes and you are guaranteed a passing grade.
Dr. R. H. is really good. I had her for Precal and cal II and my minor now is Math.
Even though attendance is mandatory in this class, but it's for your own good. Dr. H would work on problems similar to the one you would see on your HWs, quizzes and tests during lecture. You should get at least a "B" if you're actually put some effort in this class.
I have ADHD and her stories and stopping in the middle of problems makes it hard for me to concentrate on the problems
Easy class, good teacher. She has her classes down to a science. Throws in small jokes between example problems. She explains things very well. The only real complaint I had was that she gave 2-3 homework assignments a week online which was fine, but the site made the homework more of a hassle rather than helping you learn. TAKE HER!
She tells corny jokes but I love them! Lol she goes pretty fast in lecture but if you are good at math it is easy to keep up. I hear a lot of complaints about her but personally I think she is a great professor.
I LOVE Dr. H! I had her for a stats class and made an EASY A. Her pre cal class is pretty hard, but she makes it bearable with her corny jokes and stories. I HIGHLY recommend any class with her!
Extremely nice lady, super helpful to those whom ask question, my favorite professor of the semester.
She's pretty legit, not going to lie. I took this class in high school and learned few new things. I flat out told her, I've already learned this stuff and I got the coolest response, "I only check attendance for those who are failing the class" Do NOT take that as a ticket for skipping that class. If I taken that class before, an A would be obt-ed
Super nice lady, and helpful if you go to office hours. However, she speeds through lectures - by the time you realize you have a question to ask about something, you've already missed something else she's said. Without going to recitations, my grade would have been a lot worse. But she's smart, an pretty funny, and overall, not a bad professor!
My math skills are above average (A's and B's) and I am struggling to PASS this class! If it weren't for recitation and the student teacher, Tamara Knox, I would be flunking this class. RH's lectures are too fast and not explained clearly. Class size is too big to ask enough questions. I stopped attending the lectures and I am less confused.
Her lectures are quite clear; clear enough for the average student i'll say. She grades fairly most times i.e deducts the right amount of points for your mistakes. Come to lecture all the time and you may not necessarily need to attend recitation.
The first day she tells us that attendance is mandatory ONLY if you are failing the class. Because we had textbook quizzes due online the night before we went over it in class, the lectures were pretty pointless unless you didn't understand the material. If you understand the material, you can just show up to exam days and still make an A.
Took her stats class, not recomending it. She a nice teacher and the online quzzies are easy. But theres things she doesnt cover in class and somtimes she gets lost in her own material, most of the class usualy faild her tests becuase we didn't understand the material :/
She's awful. Don't take her. You teach yourself out of an online textbook and Stat course and then you go to her class (which is mandatory) and all she does is go through random homework questions. Don't take her! You'll end up teaching yourself and not understanding her at all!
Her class is really easy! I dread that class and made 105 on every single one of her test. The homework might be hard, but she made her test super easy. As long as you do what you are suppose to, you should be fine(read & homework)
UNT's Math levels for freshmen is heavily flawed as Trig students shouldn't be in this class. However Dr. H is a good teacher. The material is overly easy and if attendance isn't mandatory then just do the online assignments and show up on test day. DO NOT buy the textbook, it's been virtually untouched.
Don't take her as a teacher! The test's are hard, probably because it's basically a self taught class. People never understood what was going on because all she did in class was do random homework problems and hardly explained what was going on. We didn't get any reviews for the tests she just said to look over the homework. Just don't.
Don't get the textbook its really expensive and I rarely used it. The class was easy and I dident try hard at all. She's an amazing teacher don't try to teachyourself.... those people tend to not do as well. Attendance is mandatory but most people get friends to sign them in. Homework is harder than the tests but those have help videos. Take her!
The class is incredibly easy when you go to class. You can be self-taught by using the online access page. Don't buy the book because when you buy access to the online assignment page, it comes with a e-book. She makes all the concepts easy if you regularly attend class.
Best professor! Her class is very easy if you attend class and do the homework. If you get the right recitation teacher (Di-Wu) you will get a review exactly like the test. Attendance is only used if you need a curve up by 1-2 points. She is so nice and friendly. She replies promptly to e-mails and always able to help during her office hours.
I really enjoyed her course! She really helps you understand the deviations of the problems and the actual concepts in math versus just memorizing formulas!
She's clear and takes time to explain things well. She likes to tell cow stories and awful jokes that are HORRENDOUSLY bad to the point where I just stopped paying attention in class. Otherwise there really isn't much effort required, she's an easy grader and her online assignments are easy. The class is like 2/3 algebra so you'll do fine.
Her tests are very, very hard. She makes it tough to pass. She puts up pages and pages of problems on line before tests but not the answers so you don't know if you got them correct. Don't take her unless you have a strong background in high school calculus. She does not teach the algebra you will need in class. If you are exceptionally good in HS CALC, you'll do fine.
I didn't take precal, just trig, but as with any math you just need to be patient, attend every class and sit in the front row if you want an A. The textbook is supplemental and nice to have but she usually gives examples of the same problems in the homework and the test problems come directly from the review.
I thought I was good at math until this course. She teaches so fast. Attendance is mandatory. I was struggling to pass until my final was put online due to the ice storm, so with the help of a curve I came out scraping a B. Try to take it with a friend.
At first she may seem mean, but shes a great professor! Shes quite a jokester! As long as you keep up with your homework and study, this class is a definite A. Shes very helpful and extremely nice. I would recommend her to anyone. I promise you she has not yelled or gotten angry at our class once.
Very sweet teacher. She seems kind of strict in the beginning but she is actually very polite and has a cute humor. She's good at teaching. Go to class, pay attention, and you will do fine. Her tests are very fair and my TA during recitation always gave credit for at least trying! I like her!
Make sure you attend class as its to your advantage, she basically goes over test questions. Make sure you do your HOMEWORK as she gets the test questions from your MyMathLab.
Worst prof I''ve ever had. Pretty much a self taught class. All she did was work HW problems in class but didn''t teach material. Good luck passing. Tests were nothing like HW. Retook with another prof. Learned more in 1 hour with him than with her over entire semester. Gave us 100 take home practice questions prior to exams but no answers. Huh
Tests are usually about 11-13 questions, with 3 free response. The test questions from MyMathLab, so you do homework!!!! Not an easy A class but she is a good professor nonetheless
As long as you do the MyMathLab assignments and take really good notes, you'll do fine. Attendance is mandatory, so just show up and do not leave early, she will mark you absent. I have a solid HS Calculus background, so the class was easy. She is cool.
Personally, i thought she was a great teacher. Come to class and you're well equipped for tests and my math lab. She does an example of every problem that'll be on your testMML. Plus theres 8 extra credit points on every test. I made 100 in the class bc I studied my HW and came to class. Rework MML hw problems and study notes, and youll make an A
She goes over ALL problems that will be on MML. HW due only Fridays (time is never an issue for HW). tests are out of 105 so you get extra 5. tests are straight from notes & MML. when she repeatedly works the same problem MAKE SURE IT IS GONNA BE ON THE TEST. sometimes she works some hard problems and says this NOT gonna be on the test.
This teacher really loves what she teaches. There are about 25HW on MML and 3 exams and then a cumulative final. She posts all the notes on BB. The exams can be a bit tedious, but if you study then you can pass. She has no problems in answering and re-explaining a question that she solved. She is really the best math teacher I have taken so far.
The only teacher with a cumulative final in the pack. Her reviews are a joke, she makes you sift through the 800 homeworks that we have already done to prepare for the test. Do not take her if you to pass
Nightmare professor. Homework is outrageously demanding and fails to prepare you for tests (Around 120 homework questions per test, each question has a different process.) She is malicious and resentful in nature (Lied to my face, and marked someone absent for leaving early.) Unless you are a genius when it comes to math, avoid at all costs.
I was required to take this course. already knew the material so it was pretty easy. the online assignments kinda sucked though
This professor was awful. Strongly advise anyone and everyone to avoid this professor. She knows the material yes, however, if you have not seen the material before hand or have not been prepared exceptionally well, you WILL struggle tremendously. She teaches the class like a review, does NOT offer study-guides, and does not prepare you for tests.
Tests are about 14-15 multiple choice with 1 or 2 free response. For the final she gave us the test bank she was pulling the questions from, I spent 2 days working on it and got a 90. During lecture she talks and writes REALLY fast so if math is not easy for you don't take her. She brilliant and funny, you just really have to try for a good grade.
She does all of the example problems for the hw in class, so don't skip lecture. Her recitation wasn't required so don't bother unless you really need the extra help. Hw each week isn't strenuous, just a normal amount. Lecture isn't bad, she tries to crack jokes all of the time. Loved her as a professor.
Coming from a high school with little calculus background in the curriculum this class was extremely difficult. I had to drop it mid-semester because I knew I wouldn't pass. She takes attendance every single day and don't expect any help from her during office hours.
Huettenmueller was honestly one of the best math teachers I have ever had. She was passionate about the subject and made sure to cover the hardest parts of the material so students were prepared for exams. If you show up to class, do your homework, and ask questions, you will do well. I wish I could have taken her again this semester. Wonderful!
This class is tough, because she is so knowledgable, she skims over the algebra thats important for the exams. The calculus wasn't the hard part, it was hard to do the algebra in-between the calculus and she grazes over those details that would help you preform better. You definitely have to work for your grade, but she's a good teacher. meh..
She is a good professor but if you are a struggler in math, she is not the one to be taking.
This is the hardest class I have taken at UNT. If you are not good at math do not take her. Her lectures move very quickly and her test banks are full of about 70 questions that you have to sort through just to try to figure out what is going to be on the test. This is my first time ever having to retake a class at UNT. Avoid if possible.
She's the bomb
This lady is the worst math teacher I have ever taken a class with. If you try to talk to her about help on assignments or whatever in office hours she gets an attitude. She grades really strict, no corrections, bonus points, etc.... Avoid her if you can at all costs.
Do not take this lady for any math course! I repeat do not! She rushes through complex examples out of the online textbook, she wont help you during office hours and overall is condescending. Do yourself a favor and take math with another professor.
Took 1610 with her over the summer. It was a really bad experience. She skimmed over problems from the ebook and never provided test reviews. I barely squeaked by with a C. Dont take a class with her if you have trouble with math.
I would not recommend taking her course if you don't have previous background in calculus. When you ask questions she makes you feel like the question is dumb. Does not help during her office hours . She has made the class a lot harder then previous semesters. I studied harder than any other class, went to Si, personal tutor & still had to drop.
So, if you're not good at basic algebra, find another teacher. She expects you to know it as soon as you walk in the door. That being said, you REALLY need it for the later chapters. She basically does problems from the ebook and that's it. Doesn't really explain well, just does the problem and then moves on. LOTS of online HW. NO make up anything!
Do not take this professor unless you are a math major and already know math very well. She expects you to know what shes talking about, and if you ask her a question, she usually just says that "You should already know this" and then she moves on. I would not recommend her to anyone except Math Majors.
Worst math teacher at UNT. She gets annoyed when you ask questions in class and wont help during office hours. News flash: not everyone in class is as proficient in math as you are lady. Avoid her at all costs! Dont make the same mistake I did
I have not taken an Algebra, or even a math course, in at least three years. I'm an older student, 26, and was deathly afraid walking into this class. Dr. H does believe in her students. The class requires a lot of effort. Do the homework, make notes as you do the homework, study the homework for the tests and you'll be fine. :)
It is possible to make an A in the class if you work for it. Wouldn't recommend if you have not have taken a calculus class before hand. She expects you to know what she is talking about. She does not deal with questions well. You have to teach yourself if you want to earn the grade. But she is doable if you put in the work.
Awful professor. She doesn't want to explain any of the material to students who may not understand math as well as her. Lots of hw and poor review before exams. Would not recommend
This professor offers very little explanation when it comes to student questions. She teaches as though you already know the material and when asked a question her most common response is "well I've done it before so just trust me". If you don't do great on the tests you won't pass, and she offers no extra credit or curves for the tests.
Professor is nice and patient of answering questions. There're lots of homework, but you can get a good grade as long as you listen carefully in class and do your homework on time. All the exam questions are from the examples she taught in class and your homework. Besides, she gives extra credit for all the quizzes and the final.
She teaches as if you have already taken the class. I like to think of myself as pretty good at math, but that all changed after I took her class. I never write reviews, but if you decide to take this class, be prepared to work your butt off.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!! If this is your first time taking the class Do Not take it with her. She goes over the materials so fast you can't keep up. Does not accept late work even when it's university excused. When you ask questions she respond as if you're dumb. If you have to take the class go to the TA for help.
She was not a very good professor, sounds like she knows what she talks about but does not know how to teach or explain. Sometimes she would get off topic and laughs at her own jokes. Monotone voice. Does not answer questions well.
Hardest math class I've had to take and I'm god at math. She teaches as though you already know calculus and the whole point of you taking this class is for you to learn calculus. If you've never taken any calculus do not take her. She also give zero extra credit, teaches to fast and goes off on tangents . Expect lots of HW and hard tests.
The lectures were primarily homework questions, will learn more from your TA in recitation than in the actual class. Lean heavily on khan academy and other calculus study guides on youtube. Quizzes are all open response, and if you don't show perfect grade then you fail the quiz. There are 3 tests and a final, half of the test is multiple choice.
The tests are very self explanatory except for the final. I found that the final did not reflect any previous test material or review. The homework also doesn't help with your test score. The recitation section helped me the most and the quizzes gave me the most benefit for the tests.
She's very unorganized and all over the place during lecture. Half the time she couldn't read her own notes which made it very hard to follow along. Takes attendance, so both lecture and recitation are mandatory! Recitation quizzes once a week. I learned more from my TA. If you can choose another prof and save yourself some headaches. Class avg. 58
Dr. H is a really sweet person but as someone whos never taken calculus before, she really doesnt teach it well and more reviews it. She doesnt explain much of any topic before jumping into practice problems, or after. I feel like Im learning an algorithim of how to solve the specific examples she gives in class, not the subject of calculus.
She's very kind and tells little jokes in class that honestly get me through the day, but her teaching style left much to be desired. She jumps into concepts by doing practice problems without any preface as to what they mean and seems to only care about moving ahead. Don't take if you haven't taken calculus before. She does curve quite a bit!
Difficult teacher and I didn't learn much. Mostly depended on my calculator to take derivatives for tests and I somehow managed to get an A.
She is actually the worst professor I have ever had.
The worst instruction. Just reads from Power Points. She doesn't cover important concepts.
This class is a giant waste of time. Unreal expectations, I mean the semester is only a few months. I'm not trying out for the math Olympics. Choose carefully and not this teacher.
She gives the bare minimum on every lesson. You have to teach yourself the majority of the material. I had better math teachers in high school
Only reads from the book, doesn't really teach. Assigns a ton of homework which she doesn't actually cover in her lecture. You'll end up watching something like 6 hours of her reading from a textbook each week. Honestly, just stick to Youtube lessons, they're way better.
If you want a professor that explains material do not take her. She will start a problem and then just go through it without explaining anything and magically gets an answer. Grades on memorization not if you learned anything. Exams are nowhere near what she teaches, almost as if she only teaches the easiest material and tests us on the hardest.
I have always just dealt with math, but she made it miserable. I went in to every assignment prepared to have to teach myself because of the lack on instruction received. Workload is heavy, more assignments per week than all my other classes combined. Basically the only grades that matter are exams so if you do poorly on a couple exams, good luck.
She teaches the class as if you have already taken it, like skipping over parts of the examples because it may make her say a few more words. She is one of those teachers that assign more work than every other class, and the assignments don't even match the exams. She wants you to memorize stuff instead of actually learn.
She is one of those math professors that will teach everything by using a calculator, but then say no calculators of quizzes and exams. Which to me means she does not truly care if her students learn.
I barely learned anything from this professor. All she does is take examples already explained in the book, and explains them at base level, leaving you to decipher how she got through all of her steps. I learned more about stress than math in this class. If you have the choice, take your class with a different professor.
If you want to enjoy anything about your life take another professor. She makes this class harder than it has to be. She will have an exam on monday, but three of the sections on the test are due the friday after the exam. Which makes no sense.
I just wanted to say that all of these negative reviews are 100% correct. It is almost as if her goal was to stress students out and overwork them.
If you take her just be prepared to look everything up on youtube or khan academy etc, because she sure won't explain anything
I learned everything for this class from other sources because she simply does not teach. She acts as if her students have already taken this class before, she will not slow down and is annoyed when students ask questions and will answer with things like "you should have learned this". Do not take her, and if you do, I am sorry
She kinda teaches the class like you've known calculus your whole life. The homework is pretty easy but the tests feel very different than the homeworks.
Lots of homework, there was a quiz every week, but she does offer extra credit on the homework if you turn it in early. Lectures aren't the best, she goes pretty fast but the online textbook does offer videos that walk you through it a little better. Very nice lady, just a lot of work and try not to miss lectures.
She over all was a decent professor for this course. she added 10 points to her exams after grading yet still most students wouldn't have made above a C or B without those extra 10 points. explanations are all based on the books. no calculators are allowed on exams and quizzes yet she used a calculator on all of her examples in the class.
Dr. H is amazing. Multiple online assignments each week, you get 5 answer tries and video tutorials (extra credit for finishing early). She doesn't allow late work. Has written homework and quizzes, if you study you'll be fine. Go to class, she doesn't record lectures. Ask ?'s if you don't understand in lecture, she will do her best to help
She is very nice and funny. She knows her stuff, but she goes a little too fast. Explanations are there but they're not in-depth enough in my opinion. Maybe if she explained things more slowly and further I would've gotten more from the lecture. She is so nice though.
I had this professor sophomore year. She's never been mean in any of the lectures nor has she gone on about topics irrelevant to the course. Everything on the tests was covered so frequently in the homework that I was always prepared for the tests.
Dr. H was a decent prof, she spent her lecture working out example problems. She's pretty fair prof but she doesn't really explain what to do, she just does it. All the homework is online and you have 10 attempts per question. Plus if you finish early you earn an extra 5 points. You have quizzes once a week and four tests (+ final).
Be ready to teach yourself. In lectures she only works practice problems and does explain concepts. She goes too fast to ask questions. Recommend taking a different professor or even community college if you want to understand concepts and have an easier workload.
She spends more time doing examples and expects you to know how to get the answers, while the TAs teach the concepts during recitation. When students asked her to slow down, she said there isn't enough time in the semester to "slow down" and rushed all the concepts. Didn't seem like she cared if her students knew the concepts or not.
I'd say she's a decent professor, I understand it's not her fault that you won't have much time to ask questions since class is only 50 minutes and she has a lot to say and go over in class. So a solution to that is 1. learn through the web assign hw 2. watch "The Organic Chemistry Tutor" on concepts you do not understand 3. study w/ friends.
Cons: The lectures felt rushed at times and she would go through problems faster than you could write. She just solves problems with little to no explanation. On occasion she got frustrated if the class had questions, although this did not happen often. Pros: Homework completed 48 hours early grants extra credit. She drops a few assignments
She had a hard time explaining things, she would just go through the textbook question by question and would just show you how to do it rather than explain it. She was really nice and a pretty easy grader when it came to tests. She would put curves on exams. I wouldn't take her again, and a lot of the course work I learned on my own.
She came back as a semi-retired proffesor and it showed. In classes she would struggle to explain many basic theorys and would just end up writing things down and moving on. She was good at giving curves because most of the class would fail without one, most of the test would get a 15-20 point curve.
If you have the opportunity to take anyone besides her do yourself a favor and take that professor, her lectures are fast and exams are hard, plus she does multiple choice on exams which is awful in calculus 2. She's also just super rude in a person on person basis.
Dr. H is a decent professor, but the class requires a lot of work. Lectures go by quickly, so definitely attend and ask questions. The online textbook and tools like unstuck study really helped me grasp the concepts better.
