Explains simple problems, then you're given 4 hours worth of higher level homework. When given criticism about his teaching methods, he didn't change anything to help those students. He clearly got annoyed at one student in particular when they were having a hard time understanding, and showed it clearly to everyone rather than helping the student.

Professor Christianson is the best math teacher I have ever had. He makes the course to be successful, If you put in the work you can pass. College algebra is already a very hard class, but his approach is the best. He was willing to help my grade and change things and actually wants to help you as much as you can. He is a professor that cares!

By far the best math teacher I've ever had. The class is hard but if you stay on top of homework and use his office hours, you will be fine. He is always willing to help and is just overall a nice guy.

Mr. Christianson has a specific way of grading the entire course that I do not like. He does not use Canvas throughout the semester. His teaching style does not match with my learning style. He uses very odd vocabulary to learn concepts and most of the time I was not able to understand what he was saying since he speaks with a low voice.

Only class I have ever had to drop. I am taking the same class with a new teacher and am doing much better. This professor started with 18 people and when I dropped I was the 8th one left that hadn’t dropped yet.

One of the best professors I have ever had, I talk about him still to this day! It has been years since I have taken the class, but decided to go ahead and give him a review!
