When I first had him, it was his first time working as a math professor. He is one of the best teachers ever. Reasons why is because the way he teaches, everyone in his class understands. He's in his office for office hours, he gives review sheets for exams, other professors don't do that.

Let me start by saying Math is my WORST subject. This teacher is AWESOME! He's a cool guy, who teaches you ONLY what you need to know! He doesn't make you memorize any formulas and explains everything so you can understand it. He is a GREAT teacher!!!

He is a really great Professor. I took his stats class in the summer and although it is a lot of material in a short time he is able to teach everything so that students understand him. He gives you review sheets for every exam and goes over them before the test. There are no surprises in his test because if you complete the review you'll do fine.

amazing teacher makes things super easy to understand. bottom line is calc is a hard class, so if your on here to see whose easy you should just not take calc. His test are difficult one or two cheap questions that no one will know, but he's an amazing teacher. I am a b/a student. I'm on the verge of getting and A and i sure am working for it.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! He posts videos on how to do each section, posts lecture notes, and the MyStatLab subscription is the textbook and where we do all our assignments. He is an EXCELLENT teacher and always answers questions. I took it online, but had to take midterm and final on campus. He lets us use computer for help during exams.

The greatest math professor at NCC. Pre-Calc and Calc are both very difficult courses, but he makes class enjoyable and is always available for office hours. He also uses MyMathLab which boosts your grade significantly and is a huge help to learning. If you practice with MyMathLab material and go to his office hours, you will love math!

He is a very easy going type of teacher. Most of what he showed us what how to put in stuff in our calculators. I can only speak for stats. TI 83/TI 84 are the only calculators he teaches and uses. Most of his homework is done online. He does allow laptops/notebooks to take notes and can use wabbitemu for those who don't want to buy a calculator.

My first time taking a college class in years and he was excellent. It was an online class which requires more of your time and focus. He gave great videos. If you have a question he responds with positive feedback and explains in great detail. He has a cool, hip demeanor. With homework and tests he does provide ample time for you to complete it.

Allowed to use online notes and HWs for exams. Huge focus on hypothesis testing. Some review from MAT102. Overall, a great follow-up class to take if you loved Intro to Stats.

I took this class online and loved it. The professor is great and he makes it easy to retain the material. You will have to do a lot of work and dedicate a lot of time to this class. Excellent! He prepared video & notes to help us use the calculator and focus on the major concepts he will test on. There is no trick. Instead of mandating us to finish homework every week, he gives us flexibility to schedule our study plan and homework. This helps especially for students who are working and taking several courses. Far & away the best professor for an online class I've had. He had tons of lessons available weekly. You could always go back & access any one of them. They were all very informative & explained how to solve any & every problem that came up. If you ask a question that he doesn't have a video for, chances are he will make one for you. Great teacher

Great guy, clearly a great mathematician. He gives lots of HW but his exams look identical to the homework, so do it and you'll do just fine. The only complaint I have is he never replied to my emails - EVER. But very reasonable and he does a good job explaining the material, so even for a harder upper level math course at no point did I feel lost.

He is one of the only professors that I actually learn from his lectures in class and don't have to relearn from scratch at home. I was really worried about Stats, but if you have the right calculator & know how to use it, it's real simple. I'm biased as a math person, but he gave a few at-home tests as well as HW, a midterm & final. It feels like a lot, but HW due dates were lax (first half due by time of midterm & second half due by final) & he seemed like a cool guy. 10/10

I myself am pretty slow at math and was a terrible HS student, but having him teach these topics to me made my life much easier. I can work out math problems I couldn't do 2 years ago. He's a funny guy too, and makes good dad jokes.

I had him both semesters and I enjoyed him a lot. He really chill and explains materials very well. The course itself was a challenge but I would have him as my professor 1000%

Super nice professor. Class can be challenging if you're not good at math and you're taking his online course. He requires 2 proctored tests, midterm and final. Gives a decent amount of homework sometimes but gives plenty of time to complete it.

Take ASYN course! Easy A. HW & quizzes are on Pearson & due by the midterm. Midterm(20%) & final(20%) of your final grade. Both exams are conducted on Zoom, for attendance purposes. You have 3 hours to complete the exam on Brightspace & submit it by 9pm. Overall, it was an amazing course. I highly recommend if you need to take a math class.

Prof. Moscatelli is one of the best professors I've ever had; he doesn't rush through lectures, and is always attentive if anyone has a question during class. When you get your exam back, you will always find feedback on the questions you got wrong, which I think is amazing because you will know what you did wrong and how you can improve!

Amazing professor, very understanding and responsive. I struggle with math tremendously, and I could get through this class, despite personal issues I was dealing with outside of class.

Awesome professor, made algebra enjoyable. the tests are very forgiving and his grading is 10/10. Professor Moscatelli is an awesome person who is passionate about mathematics and is a 10/10 professor.

Do your hw don't fall behind. If you have questions ask them or go to his hours he's easy to work with especially if you're bad at math like me Best math professor I've ever had. He's probably the best teacher on campus.

Math is a subject where the professor can really make or break your experience, and Prof. Moscatelli was amazing. He's pretty lenient with attendance but please, PLEASE attend the lectures because he's great at teaching. Just email him if you have a late assignment and he'll remove deductions. Gives out calculators during testing just in case.

Honestly, I'm am deeply grateful this man exists. He single handedly saved my dream of becoming an engineer. I was really considering on giving up on myself.

exams are easy and teaches well

Not sure how this professor managed to give me an A in a math class, but it did happen. Very grateful for his clarity and care throughout the course. Definitely a top pick for your SUNY GEN-ED math requirements. No reason to investigate other courses, just take stat101 with him and you'll be golden.

This course builds on Intro Stats, and I really enjoyed it. I learned a lot, from distributions to hypothesis testing, especially using the TI-Nspire calculator. I now know all the key stats functions. We also used JMP software to solve problems more easily. Great professor and easy to learn the material, especially if you enjoy math.
