he's not that bad if you're good at math.

he is the worst teacher i've had yet. if you're looking to pass i suggest you don't take him, otherwise you'll be like the half of the class failing. he sits in his chair the whole class, and teaches from an overhead. also, he cannot hear to well.DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!

This guy was the worst teacher I ever had. He is deaf, so communicating with him his a hassle. He is very unreasonable and doesn't even attempt to answer simple questions. Although, I made an A in his class I wouldn't recommend taking him, because it was a frustrating experience and I basically taught myself.

probaly the worst math professor i've ever had. He loves Educo, and all he will do is press next, next, next and let educo explain which is horrible for people with problems with math. Doesnt explain anything.

DO NOT TAKE ANDREWS!!!!!!!!!!! He couldn't teach if his life depended on it. He walks in and draws on the board for 50 minutes. Educo is the most boot-legged computer program known to man. If you have him, you need to go running to the registrar to withdraw.

He cannot teach at all and thinks Educo is gods gift to the mathematic world. He has no study sessions and his test or should I say Educo's test are difficult. McNeely is your best bet for Pre-Calc and Calculus.

Andrews is indeed a character. He teaches verbatim from the book which leaves his students looking at him completely clueless. He's also deaf, so asking questions is no good. If you're stuck with him, the best thing to do is study CourseCompass and do the HW and quizzes, they will save your grade in the end. Never take the paper test, it's a trick!

OMG! i went to his classs EVERyDAY and still had no clue what he was talking about. his tests are never on anything he taught. he expects you to play connect the dots with equations, and then he fails you if you dnt know how to do it. he always wears a pinkish yellow shirt every 3 days and he cant hear anything you say even if your sitting in front

NOT a good teacher at all! Attendance is vital, miss too many days and you'll fail...no exceptions. Be prepared to learn more than one chapter at 1 time because you might have homework/quizes on one chapter and you'll go in and learn something about a completely different chapter.

This man is by far the WORST instructor i have ever had. He does nothing but read notes off the projector. He drinks coffee and reads the news paper on reviews days. Out of all 120 students he had at the begin of the semester aver half dropped the course and on average 4 out of 30 pass his class per session...he is really the worst professor EVER!

Don't take this man. He is HORRIBLE!Math lab barely boost your grade. Study Guide he gives is completely different from test. It's easy to cheat his test with you're phone and he's literally deaf, he has a hearing aid. Don't take him if you actually want to learn.

I taught myself in this class. He gives out NO extra credit whatsoever. I took pre calculus in high school so I was familiar with the material. For any one new to this course, I advice tutors, going to the math lab, friends, the book, Youtube, anything else but Andrews. Expects you to just know the material. I made it out with a B. Barely.

He tries his best to teach but doesn't do it very well. He knew that most of us were not doing well in the class, so he kinda helped us out bc we really needed it. I don't recommend him to people who can't teach themselves because that's all you are gonna do in this class. The class is hard but doable. STUDY FOR HIS EXAMS WAY BEFORE!!

I highly don't recommend him. He's deaf and has a hearing aid. if you ask a question, most likely he won't hear you. He tries his best to teach, but we still don't understand him. But if you do end up taking his class, make sure you do your MathLab, pass every single one of the 4 tests, do your hours, and pass the final, and you will be fine.

Horrible professor, the things that are assigned have never been taught or even mentioned within the 50 minutes were sitting in class. Hes quite hard of hearing so when you ask questions youre not likely to get a response and when you do, its never a clear response. Usually ends up being more confusing than it actually is.

Doesnt help his students regardless of how many questions we asked. Snarky/Rude replies to emails (if he replies) Placed in groups for projects & if your group doesn't contribute you have to do all the work alone or fail. IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR GPA DO NO TAKE THIS MAN CLASS! Professor Andrews makes this class harder than it needs to be. If you have a question, he usually responds with an attitude. He's nearly fully deaf, so if you have a question, it probably won't get answered. He's also very old, moves very slowly, and makes a lot of mistakes while teaching.

Does not care for the class overall. I completed every aspect of the class with an A except my tests. Didn't care to help me raise my grade by 4 points to pass. Often answers with an attitude to simple questions, & is well overdue with teaching, I filled out the course climate survey but that may not even make a dent in what needs to be done.

He is not that good of a teacher. He randomly changed my grade after a final and refused to push it up just 2 easy points to make me pass. Not fair.

Couldn't pay me enough to take him again. The four tests outweigh everything by a lot. Projects / math assignments are group work, therefore your grade is at the fate of others. Tons of homework that doesn't even help your grade. It is December and the week before finals, he just graded something from August.. which put me at a failing grade.

Don't take his class if you can't do self teaching. He doesn't do his job properly (which is teaching) and reads off PowerPoints. The group assignments and projects are somewhat easy but don't always expect your group members to help you out. For anyone who has to take his class, just do good on the first 4 tests with the help of tutors.

Please do not take his course. The group projects are almost every week and he just reads off of a slide. He barely shows you how to do the problems, nonetheless what you're even learning. It's way better to take another teacher even if it's at a terrible time. All the other reviews are telling the truth.

This class wasn't particularly it was really just the professor. He's not a great teacher all he does is read of slides then look at you. If you do the homework and quizzes you should be fine. I don't recommend this professor. He's monotone, hard of hearing, and only reads slow PowerPoints with little explanation. Tests outweigh homework, quizzes, and group projects, making it hard to succeed. I retook the course with another professor and did much better.

This man cannot teach. He reads in a quiet, monotone voice, and it's just a very minimal PowerPoint. Also, there's a group project every week, you're required to do 2 hours a week in the math learning lab, and being in this class just makes you want to fall asleep. Be prepared to teach yourself math.

Never in my life has algebra been made so difficult. He is elderly, and has very bad hearing. We are asked multiple times to repeat ourselves when we ask questions. Then, when he hears us, he gets annoyed when we ask to clarify something he has said. The test are not even hard it's just sometimes too time consuming to use a calculator. Terrible.
