Good professor, his quizzes and final are very easy, and he is EXTREMELY helpful in the lab.
Class is not too bad. Funy guy. Quizzes and tests are what you expect, but you must study and understand the material. Helpful in lab and after class.
Very clear in explaining things, tells jokes. Tells you what will be on tests, but you must study for them. Overall a good teacher.
Very good professor. All around laid-back, tells jokes, and finals and tests are easy enough. Would recommend.
His classes are laid back and he will tell ou what to study, but you must study. The lab is simple, but a report with lots of tables are due with each experiment.
Funny Guy, should have done a post-doc, but instead, went to comedy school. Need to invest in some clothes
The class sessions were boring, uninspiring and uninteresting. Mr. Baldwin punctuates the boredom with an occasional dry joke. Take this class if you just want to "get through"
Dr. Baldwin is a great teacher. I really enjoyed his lectures. The labs actually included some interesting things! It is possible to get an A, and he will help you! I highly recommend!
Would be maybe an average teacher at UK but good for U of L. Classes were not that helpful. Jokes were boring.
His lectures are a tad boring (they're Chemistry lectures, what do you expect?), but he makes sure to give you info that will make the lab much easier. He always stops to waste 5 minutes with a silly joke. He's one of the only Chem Profs I know of who makes it a point to show up at the labs, and in this regard he was VERY helpful.
Helpful in everyway. Lecture notes usually help when the Final test comes around so its in everyone's best interest to go to class. Teaches well and straight to the point. Tell a joke every lecture. A very good chemistry professor.
Prof. Baldwin was awesome - he told jokes in the middle of class, and he actually taught us the material too. He was extremely helpful and always willing to help out a student if you go and see him during his office hours. I would recommend taking him!
To be quite honest, professor baldwin in my opinion is not that great of a teacher. He does not do a very good job when it comes to explaining the labs, and therefore the TA's have no idea when it comes to the physical lab. He never goes over the questions on the lab and hardly ever answers emails regarding the lab. Don't take him if you can
After struggling in 207, I took Baldwin for 208 and thought he was wonderful! He took some time during lectures and answered any question you had, and therefore I began to comprehend chemistry. He's also really friendly and funny and visits all the labs he can. That's nice to know that he's being active in his work.
LOVE HIM! He is so helpful and tells jokes in the middle of class to keep your attention. He goes around to the different lab sections to check on the students. Unlike other professors who only care about their research, he cares about his students. Only complaint is his hand writing. Take him, he rocks. I also had him for 208.
Dr. Baldwin is an EXCELLENT professor to take for chemistry labs. His quizzes and finals are almost free points if you read the lessons, and he is really a nice guy! Take Dr. Baldwin for CHEM 208/209/210 if possible!
Interesting Teacher, very Knowledgable, yet vague about what is on the final Exam.
Great person. Great professor. Very willing to help. Attend class, study the material, and you can get an A. The final exam is tricky, but make sure you study old exams, which he provides you, and you'll be fine. Take him if you have the chance.
Dr. Baldwin is a very nice guy but he is not organized at all. My class was the honors section and we were pretty much guinea pigs. Boring class but bio & chem majors have to take it. He's very picky on his quizzes, but gives you the questions beforehand and is very lenient on turning things in and the overall grade. The final was hard but everything else was fairly easy as long as you keep up with the labs.
Dr. Baldwin is a really funny and hip guy, but the course was all over the place. I took honors and felt like I was being experimented on, because nothing was set in stone. He is very picky on the quizzes, and the final is very hard. TA's can also be very picky when grading lab reports. Just do what you're supposed to and you should be fine.
He is okay at teaching this course, but he isn't very helpful and is easily side tracked during lecture. He is very nice however, and tries to make things as easy as possible for students.
He's not amazing, but he's better than most. You definitely learn something, but he's unclear about the final.
Professor Baldwin's class teaches you a lot but is extremely easy to do well in. there are 6 labs and a final, all labs you can retake in the final week. allows you to perform lab with other sections if you need to
Baldwin's hilarious and super nice, lets you redo labs a the end of the semester for the possibility of a 100. Only obstacle is the final, he's very vague about what's on it, but he does hold a review Q&A prior to the exam; go to it! Some of the questions on the practice exam were on the final, and it's worth like 12 points a question. Do labs well
He was a funny guy, but the final exam didn't match up with a lot of the content from labs. There were questions about stuff he didn't even talk about in lectures. I expected an A in the class, studies thoroughly, but still got a B because of the final. Also, he never showed up to Saturday labs, which I personally think is a bunch of bull .
Baldwin is pretty chill, he makes funny jokes during his lecture to keep us entertained, and he's really helpful if you don't understand a subject like pH or something. The labs are simple, and he allows redos of any lab you might mess up on. The final exam isnt bad as long as you study. A really good teacher for an intro to chemistry labs
Professor Baldwin was very kind and easy to work with. He lectures on what you will do on the lab, as well as gives you important information about calculations that will appear on the final. Most questions from the final comes from the lecture concepts, not the labs; so be sure to go to lecture. He also hosts a review session for the final!
Professor Baldwin was awesome. He told the best jokes and always explained what we would be doing in labs clearly. He didn't care which lecture you showed up to as long as you went to one.
Professor Baldwin is not good at explaining all the material. He goes over a portion of it and then starts to tell jokes and loses track of time. The final has material which was not covered in class or lab, so expect to fail it. Even if you get an A on all your labs, you won't get better than a B or C in the class. SKIPS OFFICE HOURS W/O NOTICE!
His lectures are very helpful with completing and understanding the labs. The labs were well laid out and easy to understand. He always told a joke in the middle of the class which was nice. The final was a little challenging but nothing unbearable.
Professor for this class doesn't matter. Only TA. Labs are easy and the final is somewhat difficult
This test is an easy A if you have a good background in chemistry. You are basically guaranteed an A on every lab if you go to your TA's office hours for help. The final wasn't bad at all. He gives you a practice test to review before the final which is basically identical to the final with just different numbers.
This class only last for half of a semester. He tells jokes in the middle of the lecture. Hard to hear him if you sit at the back of the room because his voice doesn't really carry far. All the labs are pretty easy but the test is really hard. Be prepared.
Professor Baldwin is an interesting character. His lectures are boring (but insightful) and he is aware, so he always tells a joke in the middle of class. He isn't particularly a hard professor, but the class can be a bit challenging because it's an intro to chemistry course. Take the class seriously and you should get an A.
Dr. Baldwin knows that lectures are long and boring, so he always tells a terrible joke (really corny, punny jokes) in the middle of his lectures. He gives important equations and details about the exam during lectures, so don't skip out. The final wasn't too bad, just make sure you know how to work the equations from the experiments.
Professor Baldwin is a decent professor. He basically explains what the lab is about in lecture. He isn't present in lab, so you mainly rely on your TA for any assistance. The final in 207 is over exactly what he tells you, so that's a plus.
For Chem207, Dr. Baldwin is a decent professor. He is not worst professor, but he definitely not the best. The class can be confusing since this is the first lab for many students. I felt like I was being thrown to the wolves. The labs are really boring. Be warned that the prelabs are very hard. Good luck titrating.
Chem 209 was much easier than chem 207/208. Dr. Baldwin was much clearer in this course. The labs are actually fun in this course. His lectures tell you everything you need to know for the lab and some things for the final. His office hours are confusing though. Sometimes you have to find him.
The labs weren't that hard. You contact your TA more than you do Baldwin. I got close to a 100 on all the labs and didn't do so well on the final, which seemed to be common. You can make up as many labs as you want at the end of the class. Baldwin's lectures are pretty much pointless to attend.
Prof. Baldwin is pretty laid back and nice, but you interact with your TA more--they grade the assignments. Visiting TA Help Desk was really helpful and improved my lab grades. Use past exams and supplied by Baldwin and your labs to study for final and you'll be fine!
If you have a choice in professors for this class, definitely chose Baldwin. He does a great job in delivering information that is helpful for the labs and the final. He doesn't grade your work, so how tough of a grader you have depends on the lab TA you are assigned.
Baldwin is a really chill professor and does a great job with this class. Lectures aren't necessary, but they help to explain what to do in the lab and give material for the final. Lab grades depend on TA: ours accused half the class of not turning in Lab 1 and gave most below an 80% on Lab 5. However, you can redo labs you do poorly on.
Final exam is very important for your grade. Lecture explains what the lab will consist of but is difficult to hear, so sit in the front.
Awesome professor, great lectures that actually prepare students for their lab experiments. He wants students to succeed. Hes lenient on attendance and allows you to pick when you go to lecture from all sections open. He teaches to the final and goes over a practice test in class the week before. Best lab teacher ever!
This lab is super easy. There is a help desk for the lab reports so you have no reason to get a bad grade. The only semi-hard thing is the final test but he gives you old finals to study so it is really easy. Super chill guy. Also this course is only half of the semester and the second part, 208 is the same way.
Baldwin doesn't actually teach much of the course, a TA will run the 6 labs. He has lectures Mon/Tue that will explain what to do in lab and give you some help on the pre-lab! Your grade depends on how harsh your TA is, but there's a help desk I recommend. Baldwin is a nice enough dude. He knows his stuff and always tells a joke in class.
Chemistry is hard but he does try to lighten it up a bit. Hes very laid back and his lectures arent boring!
He is very nice and tells funny jokes in class, but can sometimes get confusing especially since he is a fast lecturer sometimes. He did tell us wrong information once for a lab report when we were talking about a 2:1 mole ratio. Overall he is a decent professor and he gives you old finals to practice.
Dr. Baldwin is a great professor and a great guy. He single-handedly made chem 207 bearable for me. He is really funny and he does offer some great advice for freshman. 10/10
The prof is great, but the course lectures seem completely unrelated to the lab that is also taken with the course. So what ended up happening was at the end we were given a final and old finals to study on. We got the final exam and it ended up having questions that were related to another course (CHEM 201) terrible. Not his fault.
Honors 209 is the same as regular 209, but lab reports are a little more detailed and we had one more experiment titled "Special Project." Baldwin had unclear grading criteria and uploaded syllabus late. Both TAs took forever to return reports and Baldwin did not respond to emails. Understand the practice final exam and you'll do fine on the final.
I took CHE 210 and I am not even sure how I managed a B in the class. There are quizzes every week and I would recommend visiting office hours beforehand. He will answer your questions. As far as labs go, youre pretty much on your own- so ask lots of questions. He doesnt actually give a lecture, he just discusses the purpose of the lab.
Professor Baldwin seems like a decent person, but he does not help very much in teaching what to do in Labs. Always redirects questions to TAs, which are sometimes hard to understand. Class is 95% statistics and 5% chemistry. Labs sometimes feel like they have no basis in chemistry and are primarily just statistics.
Dr. Baldwin is a pretty friendly professor, but he has his moments. His lecture is fairly simple, but he does require attendance. The lab is taught by a TA, so you never see him in the lab. The final exam is very very very difficult if you dont know what youre doing. He will give you a practice exam that is nearly identical to the real exam.
If you show up to lectures and follow the instructions he gives you, this class is very easy to follow and very easy to pass. Would definitely recommend it.
Baldwin was okay, really that's the extent of it. His lectures were confusing and hard to see if you didn't sit close up front and the labs were graded by TA's. It's his final that is problematic - having done 208 with a different prof... he made his so hard. 200 points and many trick questions. I got a 78/200 on it. Still passed though.
The labs are very interesting and apply to things you'd learn in general chemistry. You get points for attendance and he doesn't post his lectures anywhere so you pretty much have to go to class. The final is pretty hard and hard to study for but the labs are graded by TAs, who are usually a lot more lenient, and can be redone to get more points.
pretty easy as long as you take the time on the labs. he is really quiet though so sit towards the front during lectures, otherwise he is good as giving you all the information you will need, especially for the exam
Baldwin is such a kind and understanding professor. He would see if anyone had questions throughout the lecture and would a lot of the times stay after class for any other questions. Halfway through the lecture he would tell a funny story. He also holds multiple practice exam reviews and does them on the board. Overall very caring prof.
There is one lecture for a corresponding lab. The labs are easy enough and the lectures really help you to complete the labs. The final exam was the toughest part but he will lay out the exact amount of points you need in the class to pass. You don't even need to pass the final to pass the class. Good teacher. Lectures are fast paced but go to them
The class is based upon 3 lab grades, 2 quiz grades (3 quizzes total, the lowest gets dropped), and the final. He gives you a list of questions before each quiz, with the quiz itself consisting of a certain number of them. You can makeup/redo any of the labs at the end of the semester. However, the final was insanely hard.
He wasn't the best lecturer but his classes are not set up hard and getting an A is very doable if you just put forth some effort.
Weekly quizzes and lab reports. His lectures are difficult to understand and I didn't enjoy any of the lab experiments.
An average professor who gets the job done. Other than the weekly quizzes and final, your grade is heavily determined by your lab TA.
Baldwin's lectures are always fantastic! With his lectures and the lab documents, the labs themselves are very clear and straightforward. And the quizzes and reports are easy A's so long as you put time in. My only issue with the course, is that the reports take up way more of your time than a 1 credit lab should.
Cool guy
Dr. Baldwin is amazing. He clearly lectures so that you understand the subject thoroughly, but keep in mind that he does not grade the lab reports. The person who runs your lab does, so if you have an issue with a grade take it up with them and not Baldwin, because most likely he won't have any idea what you're talking about.
Very straightforward lectures, but you may have to get outside help if you don't already understand some amount of basic chemistry. Labs are worth the majority of your grade, but the final exam is fairly difficult.
Took an easy class with easy labs, and gave it an difficult final worth a large percentage of your grade that had nothing to do with the labs.
Prof. Baldwin is a very rude man! He would give long quizzes and rush us by yelling "hurry up" every 10 seconds while we are taking the quiz. He also has a very smart mouth so be prepared to deal with an attitude if you were to take him.
Baldwin is an absolute riot. Leaves a little bit lacking in terms of explaining chemistry, so your grade is pretty much determined by your ability to teach yourself. He makes up for it by being a genuinely funny old man. Final was pretty easy too. He's a good choice for an intro chem lab.
Prof. Baldwin really didn't have much to do with the class, as the TAs who ran the labs were the ones who did most of the work. He did end the semester on a final exam that was graded quite harshly and didn't really relate much to the labs that we had previously done.
Dr. Baldwin is a friendly professor but the final exam is worth a very large portion of points. Attendance is worth points as well. I enjoyed his class and feel that I learned from it.
he explained all experiments and concepts super well. really great guy! beware of the final exam though- I had a 97 in this class and the final dropped me to a B. Make sure you go to the sessions where you can check over your answers!! your TA will make or break your lab experience. If you get a bad TA- just go to another TA's help session.
Note friendly and rude
Rude, never responds to emails even though he's the department chair now. Test heavy, labs are graded harshly.
Professor Baldwin is nice, but I would not recommend this class. He is terrible at getting back to emails and isn't accessible outside. You have to really work to get a good score in this class, which makes sense for the difficulty. Get a good TA and you can pass. Weekly quizzes, lowest dropped. Final exam is very hard!
In the chem department, Baldwin is about as good as you'll get. He gave test questions prior to the quizzes, but the final is fairly hard. Having a good TA is essential. He doesn't teach the material very well, so you kind of have to learn on your own.
I had Dr Baldwin for chem 207 and 209. I think overall the lectures were informative and helped in the lab but I felt that the quizzes and the final exam weren't cohesive with the lectures. I think some of it has to do with the disconnect between Dr Baldwin and the TA's though. The class was fine but you have very few grades which can be difficult.
Easy overall. Lectures are boring but going to them gets you easy points and definitely helps to complete the labs. If you mess up a lab, you can make it up at the end of the course. Most people don't do well on the exam. You should start memorizing the formulas/learning concepts ASAP
start studying for the exam (understanding concepts and learning the formulas) asap bc i had a 97 in this course and the exam dropped my grade down to an 89. go to the lectures for easy points & definitely use the TA help desks! my TA was unhelpful but the help desk got me high 90s on all labs. if you mess up labs, you can re-do them so don't worry
Baldwin seemed to truly care for his students and it was clear he had a genuine passion for the subject. I thought the lectures were only useful for the prelabs and sometimes I felt they weren't useful at all. In my opinion, the grade you get in the class is based on the TA you have during the lab, since they grade majority of the material.
Absolutely loved Dr.Baldwin. He keeps it real and gets straight to the point. In between lecture he says a funny story. For the final, he gives a mock exam and hosts a review session. If you attend it and do the mock test you'll get an A. Final was easy if you go to the session where he answers the mock test. Overall clear, and concise professor.
Not a hard class overall but the final is very hard (average C-). The lab is run by TAs and pray for a good TA because that is 75% of your grade is lab which is grade by your TA and instructed by your TA. If you mess up labs you can redo the labs at the end of the week.
Graded by labs that can be made-up in the last week of the class. Mostly, it depends on who the TA is directing your section. The undergraduate TAs are much better about helping and interacting with students than the graduate students and they try to fail you. Dr.Baldwin is chill though and will bump up your final grade if u are close!
Chem 207 is a once a week lecture with him, then a lab with your TA. He doesn't grade the labs, and his lectures explaining the lab of the week are boring, as you would expect from a professor with white hair. He tells silly stories/jokes every class but he is quite short and snippy over email and when you speak to him personally in real life.
His lectures weren't too bad and he would tell funny stories to deliver content and keep the class interesting. His grading scale was very cut and dry, but if you needed help he would always be willing to help. For the final, he gave a practice exam and held extra study sessions to help you prepare for it.
Dr Baldwin is a really nice guy, however the class is a big step up in difficulty from 207/208. You only have 3 experiments, 2 quizzes, and a final for your grades so make sure to do good on the quizzes and final because you can make up the labs at the end of the class if need be.
Dr. Baldwin is such a sweet guy. He gives you a practice exam that is pretty much exactly like the final exam and the pre-lab questions and lab reports are really easy as you can go to the TA help desk and basically have them tell you exactly what to do. He is also patient when it comes to late lab reports which can be helpful.
Don't get me wrong, Dr. Baldwin is a great guy, however I don't think the transition from honors CHEM 207/208 with Stolowich went smoothly for hardly anyone. The final is very difficult. Lab reports are most of your grade so make sure you somehow end up with a good TA because they can make or break your grade.
class is made up of quizzes, lab reports and a final. everything was relatively easy and doable besides the final. I had a high A in the class up until the final which was extremely hard that brought my grade down a whole letter grade. I don't think the labs/lab reports or quizzes prepared anyone for the final as the class average was literally 55%
he didn't really do much it was mainly the TAs and yourself putting in the work. you can barely understand/hear him in class & doesn't teach very well. grades pretty harsh, took many points off for small mistakes & the final was just horrible. nothing could've prepared you to get above a 60-70% on it, it had stuff that didn't correlate with the lab
I was in the honors section. Dr. Baldwin was a great professor overall. The class is super lab-heavy, but it's easy to do well on the labs if you read the handout and do it right. The final exam is pretty tough (lower than 75% average), but if you do well on all the labs, you'll still get an A. He also normally gives a study guide, he didn't for us
i had Dr. Baldwin for honors chem 207 and 208 and i enjoyed the class. the labs were fun and the TAs were really helpful. the only thing was that there's only one exam for the class and it's 25% of your grade. use the study guide he puts in blackboard. but he was a great professor and works with students to help them succeed.
Ultimately, so much is decided by who your TA is, but Baldwin himself is great. He won't make his finals easy, but he is a genuinely kind man. Went to him because his final was the last day before Thanksgiving break and I had planned to be out of town and he let me take the final LATE because he said "I should be where it mattered". Final HARD tho
Very funny jokes in classes. Lectures were dull and not super helpful for the most part. Final exam had a study guide that was very helpful, but still very tough. Lab determines your grade pretty much.
TAs make or break your labs, but Professor Baldwin's lectures can be very entertaining but ultimately not important to course success. You can remake one lab but also send corrections to previous labs to improve grade (but capped to a degree). Study guide given before test, pretty much all test questions. Labs are important for your grade!!
Dr. Baldwin is a solid lecturer with a really bad attitude when it comes to grading and interacting with his students. The average on our final this semester was around 50-60%. As a student who got A's on the first two lab reports, and did well on the quizzes, I was astonished at how difficult he made the exam. Level of difficulty was unfair to us.
Dr. Baldwin is a great professor. Go to his lectures and take advantage of the TA help desk - that's key to getting a good grade. unstuck study also helped me prepare for the final.
Cool guy but this class was awful. 3 lab reports, 3 in class quizzes, and a final exam. TAs make or break your lab report grades so pray you get a good one. In class quizzes are easy. But the final was AWFUL. Average was a 58% and no real curve. It brought down a lot of peoples grades by a letter grade and he didn't prepare us well for it.
He is funny, but this class is tough. 3 lab reports, 3 in class quizzes, and a final exam. Pray you have a good TA, they determine your grade. The final exam very difficult (58% average). Make sure you go to the exam review and study.
Not a nice guy, made the final exam so difficult that people were crying outside of his door. Most papers have to be retrieved and turned in online, which is very inconvenient for commuters. He made us come to his room to get our exam grade, which is fine, but made it a small window and showed up late without an apology. Would not take him again.
Very nice guy, and lecture was helpful but the final exam was so difficult. Even after studying a lot, the test was terrible (58% class average). Lab grade mostly depends on how tough the TA grades your lab reports. Overall, Dr. Baldwin explained the experiments well and was happy to help. Still possible to get an A even with the rough final.
Baldwin is okay and the TA's can make or break your grade. If you want an A, every point matters. There's definitely a huge jump between the work you have to do for labs in 207/208 to 209, and the final is very hard!!!!!
Baldwin is a great professor to have for your first chemistry lab. He goes over the entire lab during his lectures and walks you through exactly what needs to be done for a good grade. He isn't very technology heavy, but is very understanding and responsive when you email or go to office hours. Final questions are pulled from various quizzes given.
Similar to any other 207/208 lab and lecture, Baldwin is really good at giving clear details for what he looks for in a lab report. The chem lab itself is just a traditional chem lab but the lectures are very helpful as long as you go to them because he does not record content nor post slideshows very often, if at all.
Dr. Baldwin is great. He is very understanding and accesible outside lectures. The quizzes and exams are fair, and based on the experiments done in the lab. He provides a practice exam before, and the quiz questions before the quiz. To get an A is not hard, just listen to the TA's, get as much help as you can from them, and do the lab work right.
Dr. Baldwin was condescending. He is very knowledge, however, really kinda mean to you ask him a question. Tbh though, 90% of this class is dependent on if you have a good TA. I was fine because my TA was nice. The final sucked, but it isn't THAT much of your grade and Dr. Baldwin might bump up your letter grade if you talk to him my peers said.
I had him for CHEM209 and CHEM210. Most of this class is just dependent on if you have a good TA. The final is only like 10% of your grade so as long as you do the lab reports and well you'll be fine. This class was better than CHEM209 in my opinion.
lab quizzes are easy if lecture is paid attention to, difficult to deal with in rough circumstances
Pretty chill guy. Make sure to be prepared for lecture and lab each week, and try to get the most points you can with lab reports and quizzes; you may need this space later on after his final exam. For non-honors, the exam can be awfully difficult with a bad average. The honors class fared better on the final exam than the regular course.
He teaches well and explains things adequately during the recitations. Definitely study for the quizzes/final. Absolutely no leeway is given in terms of grading so you need to be prepared to make as few mistakes as possible.
He is a good professor...he is very big on lectures and sometimes it's confusing of what he is trying to explain. There is a textbook but it's online and he pulls all his lectures from it. Make sure to follow the textbook and take notes as he teaches. There are quizzes and there is a final.
The way he teaches confuses me. The tests were also confusing as well. Did not have a clear syllabus ready on the first week of class. Doesn't tell you when pop quizzes are until a few days before them. He's a chill person though and likes to make jokes. Is not a harsh grader and most points are earned by attendance.
Really weird class. He literally told us to drop the class at the start of the semester if we needed it as a pre-req for chem 201. Couldn't understand anything and found myself not trying because of it. Even with all of that still got an easy A no thx to him.
He talks very low, and LITERALLY ONLY TALKS. This class is what you expect college if you went based on how your high school teacher explained while trying to scare you/prepare you.
I had Dr. Shah for these labs and though she wasn't perfect she was still relatively good and taught well. My only complaint was the grading took forever, and she had little contact with the TAs if your TA is acting up like mine did, you have to tell on them to get to work. She hardly ever responded to emails as well.
He would talk about how our class averages were awful. If the majority of the class is doing poorly I don't think it's students. I have an A in every other class this semester I wouldn't say this grade was lack of effort. I emailed him twice about seeing if he would excuse or let me make up my ONLY absence because my grandfather passed.he ignored
Told us it was his first year having a class the size of ours and I think that was another huge factor as to why he taught the way he did. Very hard to understand and retain information. I feel like he might just not like teaching anymore thats honestly the vibe he gave me, like he was being forced to do it. I honestly thought I was going to fail.
At REACH, my tutor told me that the content Dr. Baldwin is teaching is for chem208 (for students with little to no knowledge of chemistry btw). I complained to the director of undergrad and he told me the only thing he can do is advise Dr. Baldwin to align with other chem101 professors. Everyone struggled as the average for the final was 42%.
