Pretty cool guy, kind of up tight and pretty strict. powerpoints you till you die. tests from powerpoints. book is useless. gives xtra credit and overall was a workable A. What can you expects, its earthscience! BORING ! !!

New teacher at KCAD. Kind of young. Got an A. Dont buy the book. Tests are insanely hard and its my senior year but dude gives you the questions for every test so its easy. No attendance and you do group work, definately an easy A. See ya kCAD

BORING ! ! ! Dude makes you take notes in class. I wrote like 8 pages of notes per day, INSANE ! Tests are right from the notes, gives questions to the exams. Easy A, just read the notes on the way to the exam. SWEET !

Guess there could be worse at this school. i took math with okeefe. she was way too old to be teaching and so boring. this guy is kind of young but i gotta say is kind of cool. tests kind of killer, just come to the review sessions and take good notes. watch out for this guy though, gets angry easily so be cool and its an easy A like me, peace !

A pretty awesome guy. Understands that we pay for school, so we might as well learn. For those who keep complaining about how difficult his class is... Don't pay to go to school if you don't want to put forth the effort to learn, I suppose.

I agree with everyone here and wish I knew about this site along time ago. The class is probably the hardest class at KCAD especially since its required. But you know what, half the class got As just meet with the professor, young stocky guy, and do good on tests which are right from the notes. HE GIVES YOU THE QUESTIONS! Fun class though, nice guy

I transferred to KCAD from another university (MSU) and I gotta say that this class was really easy. I guess compared to the rest of the classes at this school this class could seem super hard but compared to MSU this class was easy just take notes and come to the review session totally easy A people who failed are just losers in life, whatever!

I think this guy is new to Kendall cause he totally doesnt fit here. I had Okeefe for sustainable systems and took natural science with this guy and it was completely different in a good way. Yeah his tests are hard, if you are dumb! This guy is actually teaching something and the last part of the class was fun. Easy A just come to class and chill

Super cool guy though can talk a little fast for my taste. its true that there are alot of notes but just take decent notes and study the review and dont waste your money on the book. i gotta say that the material sucks but the class was pretty easy

I had this teacher for our seminar course and I can honestly say that I am impressed. I was kind of turned off at first by the amount of work on the syllabus but I was happy to see this teacher make sure our class "got it". Plus we went on field trips and guest speakers, so I really felt that he actually cared which is weird for KCAD teachers

To sum things up with this teacher, yes he is super cool, yes his review sessions are vital, yes he gives you a notecard, yes he has alot of slides, yes his exams are hard and yes he is super helpful out of class and funny in class. Thet being said, he gave out some horrible grades last semester to some people, so just study and you should be fine

I have him for summer 09 and its only been the first class but i cant help but comment on this guy. okay, he does come off kind of mean or short fused though is cool. since I have havent had any exams yet, i cant comment on how they are but I took alot of notes the first day so yeah that is true about him but he does seem cool and laid back

I have this professor for the summer right now and I like the class alot. There was alot of slides but the professor posted the slides online after somebody asked, so I love the class and the our first test was great especially since we reviewed and he gave us everything we needed to know, though the wording on some tests was a little weird.

this guy is awesome and the class is frickin easy. i mean he does cover alot of material but the tests are totally cool just a little long but i gotta say this guy makes a 4 hr long class go by quick and have teamwork so we leave early sweet!

Hi! Well I really enjoyed the class and I really liked the professor. I think that he is very genuine and really cares about students. He is kind young but I think that this is what makes him so great because he truly understands what it is like to be in college.He has been so sweet but he demands that everyone do their job, but i learned alot !

I just had this professor for chemistry. I gotta say that I didnt know he was GR but the class was at big rapids. I think this professor was so passionate about teaching our class and really gets excited during lectures. in the end almost the whole class got As and Bs. I think this teacher is new but I will be taking him for other courses

Heres the down low everyone. this guy is totally a trip when it comes to being a professor. to clarify I got a B in one of his classes. I saw the teacher downtown and he's actually a really cool guy. the classes are hard but everyone i talked to got A's and B's and pretty much like him but I have heard he does give out horrible grades to some.

People this guy is a savior to the science courses at Kendall. I actually had Okeefe for another course and people did bad cause she lost the class. I just added the class for this Fall 2009 since his courses is so overbooked. I mean he is not easy but so cool and the material actually makes sense. Incredible teacher at kendall. BTW I think this man is quite possibly one of the few if not the only one teacher that cares about his students at this school. the rest of my teachers complain about teaching and working and come to class unprepared and the reviews on him are pretty accurate except that he is not hard because he explains everything!

I just had him for the first day. All I can say is that he seems pretty straight. My buddy already had him and got an A. This instructor is very good for my taste. Just because I do not have a taste in men doesnt mean that I dont find him attractive. Alot of people in my class are doing poorly but thats just because they are not smart. I really think his tests are very easy and he really seems passionate about being a teacher, too bad I dont like men.

I have him now in the spring 2010 and I have to admit that the class is SOOOO BORING but the guy is pretty young and really seems to love the material. He is totally high energy and walks around the whole time. He really seems to care about everyone and tells life stories that sound cheezy but I think it is nice to know people like him still exist.

I have to admit this guy is kind of cool. I found out he is a dean at Big Rapids but lives in GR. He is totally laid back and loves teaching our class. He is always moving around and really gets into this stuff. I suppose this is cool but in the end, his tests are killer but he is super clear and puts out so much help that nobody does bad on exams.

Everyone keeps saying this guy is super hard and mean. He couldn't be any clearer and he really takes his time to make sure everyone has a chance to ask any questions. Yes he goes way to fast during lectures but he posts them, reviews for the test in HUGE detail, given lots of extra credit, I love this teacher and with this school had more of him.

He is an extremely helpful professor. I enjoyed learnig with him. He truly helped me understand the subject matter being taught which before, I did not understand very well. His knowledge of materials is excellent and his lectures are thorough and clear. I also appreciated how he truly cares about his student's progress and teaches accordingly.

He gives the "tough guy" appearance the beginning, but he is so not. He's a great guy and he helps you NO MATTER WHAT. He stayed after class for two hours for me and was willing to stay longer. He will NOT let you fail if you won't let yourself fail.

Professor Carillo was really professional. He can be quite strict on some things, but he really cares about helping you pass. He tries really hard to make sure you understand what he's saying and he even tries constantly to make it as interesting as he can. I hate science, but he made it as painless as possible.

great guy and made my semester so much better since i took 6 courses. after reading these commnts I agree that YES he is definately the one to take for the science credit but his class fills up the first day of registration but he ALWAYS overenrolls just ask him by email asap! I too have this class for the summer and find it interesting and easy. I have not seen anyone test this teacher as stated in a previous post for the same class. Possibly some misogyny going on there from another student. The teacher is very level headed and wants to ensure the students understand what he is teaching and what his expectations are.

Just found out that Corrillo isnt teaching both sections of natural science this fall. His classes always fill up but my friend found out that he has another class call environmental science& still takes adds for his natural science.whatever you do ONLY take Corrillo's science classes I cant believe they gave KELLER his other section he is horrible

I think the course is pretty boring compared my other really cool animation class. but I could really tell he was trying to being as much fun and cool things to teh course to make the class memorable and still tough but I think he balances the toughness of his courses with how super aavailble he is and does never quits on helping anyone.

awesome class, super easy and he should be the only one you take a science credit class with anyone else will fail you. his class is kind of cool, interesting and almost a guaranteed A

Super fun class and yes it was totally easy but I did learn a lot of stuff. he is clearly a happy person and genuinely nice and caring unlike the rest of the faculty at kendall. He is super helpful and the class is almost a guaranteed A. He fills up super fast but just ask him to add you and he will overfill the class. Take nobody else for science!
