Modules are created by the prof, so read and learn them! Overall 2 quizzes (1 being a take home) and the final. He will go over what will exactly be on the test. Wish he did extra credit.

For those who have idea of Accounting, please take ACTG 100 or 121 before you take this Quickbook class. Otherwise, you may not be benefited from this course. ACTG 144 is useful to those who are going to start a business. If possible, please take ACTG 145 as this course will cover the other half of the Quickbook textbook materials.

I took the ACTG 144 andACTG 145 online classes and enjoyed the class as well as Professor Claire- he is very patient and understanding. I definitely recommend taking this Professor ! Great teacher! Easy to talk to and very understanding of how hard the class is for most students. He gives plenty of reading material, don't bother buying the book. You do have to keep up with homework and make sure to read his material.

Professor Claire is one of the best professor at Skyline that cares for his students. Three test in total (2 test + final). Homework is not graded, but if don't do the homework, don't expect to pass the class. He will do anything to help his student as long as you show effort. My English is not good, but he tries his best to make me understand.

Good Teacher

It is an easy online class, but get the skill for preparing your career. What we need to do is to follow the instructions on the textbook and practice how to use quickbook. And it is always good to know how to use the software that need to be often used at work. Highly recommended to the study who want to be successful in business.

Took the evening class at skyline. Originally a 4 hour class, but he lets us out early. Do NOT leave at the break, you'll miss alot of material. Homework is not mandatory, but it's helps to do them. Open note final.

As long as you follow his explanation through homework's review, It will be easy for the test. Try not to miss class, although attendance is not mandatory.

The most helpful accounting professor at Skyline. Professor Claire really cares about our learning process and gives us feedback as soon as possible. If you wanna receive at least an B in Financial accounting, then you should consider taking his class. His lecture is very helpful and closely relative to the real tests.

Prof. Claire goes above and beyond for his students. He is always clear as to what is on each test (2 exams 1 final). Hw problems, which he reviews each class, are similar to the test. He's a professor who really makes an effort to make sure a student understands the material. Would definitely take him if he taught Managerial Accounting.

Professor Claire is a well-spoken teacher who makes sure that the student is well aware of the different problems and topics in each specific lecture. I took him for a night class and it is highly recommended that you stay for the entire class time and not cut out when the break is given. Claire will always make sure the student is taken care of.

It's great that he opens up all the assignments for you to submit at any given time. He still has an ultimate deadline for each of them but at least you have ample time to finish the course before you have vacation plans. This course might be challenging to those that are not tech savvy but the professor has provided great guidance.

I took an online Excel class (ACTG144). Class was pretty straight forward and easy to understand. Easy to communicate (responds back to student questions quickly). Leaves comments on most of the assignments, even to the perfectly scored ones which is really good.

He gives you access to all the assignments before the end of the semester/course, which helps because you can get his class out of the way and focus on other classes that might be just as important to study on.

PLEASE take your accounting classes with him! Go to class, do some of your homework and be prepared for the open-book test. EASY A I have ever had. Claire was also a very fun guys, while keep his professionalism at the same time. He'll answer any questions you may have, with clear instructions marked on the board. Can't show enough my appreciation.

I took Professor Claire again after taking his ACTG144, Excel I. Just like Excel I, his Excel II class (ACTG145) was great. He provides feedback to almost all assignment submissions. As long as you read the text and understand it, the assignments are very straight forward. I highly recommend taking him for both Excel I and Excel II.

Quick feedback and response for grades and any problems. You get to practice a lot of material which helps in understanding and learning the subject. Although there were a few errors in the 2 tests and some assignments, they were easy enough to be corrected and he graded them generously. All in all, a great class.

Really great professor. I took him for 144 and 145. Doesn't mark you down for late work and if you actually show you're trying he is extremely fair. This course was a breeze. I have taken many online courses and this was one of the simpler ones. The book was easy to follow, the course work was clear. As long as you did the assignments, at your pace I might add, you will ace the class. I am taking the next course which is 145 and looking forward to it.

It's nice that you can turn in HW late. Also, if you made a mistake on the homework, you can fix it after you submitted it, and then you could resubmit it again. He's responsive to emails so I didn't worry if I was confused about something.
