Dr. Doolin is a wonderful teacher. He goes out of his way for his students, and is there for you in any way he can be. Recommend to all!

I wish I didn't pass just so I could take him again! He was so much fun and interesting. He gave so much thought provoking material, and loved answering questions. He is very approachable and liked to talk to his students. A&P is the reason for my major.

Wondefully entertaining and extremely helpful. He uses poer point everyday which makes taking notes that much easier for a subject as difficult as A&P. I took him for both I & II. Definitely recommend him to all!

1 picture speaks 1000 words his pictures are great. He is nice and clear spoken and a funny guy. I wish I could do it all over again. Tests are easy if you draw the pictures he does and if you fill in study guide durring class.

Even though I didn't do too well in his class he's an AWESOME teacher, and he makes learning the material fun. If you have the opportunity to take a class with him DO IT!

Well, what can I say? Dr. Doolin is the best ever. He is a great teacher and really enjoys his job, which makes the class fun and the lectures interesting. The tests are hard because the material is hard to learn, but he does make the class as easy as possible to learn, considering the level of difficulty of the material. Rock on Doolin.....

Dr. Doolin is a very outstanding teacher! His class lectures are more like a stand up comedy. He makes the class easy by using funny analyogies. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him. If you need extra help, he will be there for you, unlike many other teachers!

By far the best college professor I have ever had. He does all his lectures on pwr point, and recommends you print his notes that follow off his website. His tests are difficult if you do not prepare and study. SI is highly recommended. Not one time did I want to skip out on his lectures, he is extremely funny! Dr. Doolin is a wonderful professor!!

Alright I guess. The subject is hard, but if you study you will pass. I started to write down everyword he ever said and started making A's on all his tests. Plan on writing and studying all the time. Lab is easy just remeber bones and muscles. The class is very detailed.

Dr Doolin makes anatomy fun. The way he always talks about jesse is good because it takes us away from learning just about anatomy. I was not interested in anatomy untill I took his class. I am going to take him again for apII lecture and lab. He is a wonderful teacher. take him u will not regret it.

Doolin is an AMAZING instructor! The material IS difficult but he explains it SO WELL. He uses a lot of analogies and visual images which most of my peers (and myself) find very helpful. He makes learning anatomy as simple as it gets.

Learned so much from Dr. Doolin. Not easy content, you really have to work for your grade. If you follow his notes and keep up with the readings you will be fine. Pre-nursing students learn all this stuff now!!!! You will kiss Dr. D's feet later - you will see all this stuff again and again and again.....

Excellent teacher, simple as that. No need for the book like everyone else has said...you'll never use it. I was dreading taking this class, but he made it easy and fun. Just make sure you study and take good notes!

Dr.Doolin is very funny and really enjoys what he does. It is great to have a teacher like this. His test are very hard, but if you keep up in lab they will balance out. Don't take this class unless you have plenty of time to study.

Doolin was awesome! Im not really into science, but with his sometimes funny jokes he got me interested. I thought that lab was actually harder than the class. Just study what is on the powerpoints and use the book if you need more details! Not an easy class, but worth it in the end!!!!

Doolin is a weird one. He has a PhD in medical neuroscience and he is also a very strong Christian. He doesn’t push Christianity in class but if you bring it up outside of class you’ll find he has a deep faith. The class is hard but if you study, and go to his goofy lectures, you will do very well.

I took him spring 07. It was okay. Tests are okay. Class a lil boring coz the lectures are all in a powerpoint and you can do it at home if you prefer and go to class on tests days only. Lab was easy as long as you study =D

So funny and helpful, and all his notes are online, plus you do not need to textbook for his class so youll save money! Dr. Doolin is by far the best Science professor I have ever had! He is very enthusiastic about the subject, and you can tell that he cares very much. The textbook is useless don't buy it, just get the Marieb lab manual even though he calls it a coloring book. The tests are easy if you study the powerpoints, so are the practicals..Just STUDY!!

Doolin is the best for anatomy! Hes so funny and he says a lot of stuff in lecture and lab to help you remember important things. And does a test review 30 min before the test which helps All you need is the lab book, not the actual text book. The lab practicals are tough make sure to study. I took him over the summer 6 weeks and I loved the class!

He has a PHD in neuroscience and made me really want to pursue that field. He's cute, funny and very smart! We didnt really use the textbook so I wouldnt waste my money.

took for APII - GREATEST TEACHER EVER!! If you have a sense of humor, you will get a lot out of his class. All tests directed solely upon ppt notes - no textbook needed. Easily distracted by humor, etc.? Don't take him. I tutor API and II here at DSC and that's the biggest complaint. But too funny, a complaint? I think it's an honor!! He's AWESOME!

TESTS ARE DIFFERENT. not to scare, but they are what we call "blank blank" questions. But if you want to be a nurse/doctor, and a damned good one, you will learn a lot from his tests being structured the way they are.

I LOVE HIM!!!! He always trys to relate things to other things besides anatomy (like cars for ex.) He's SOOOO funny and nice. I love how he is always excited about the class too. You should definitely get himmm.

BSC1085 Dr Doolin does a great job with the young and old alike. It is great to see young people truly interested and interacting with him. I personally hate missing his class, it is that interesting and entertaining. How fortunate Daytona State College and Daytona State students are that Dr. Doolin chose teaching as his profession! ! ! !

Loved being in his class, you do have to study hard but it's all from his power points. No need to buy the text book. He takes the time to talk to you in his office before class if you need him. Highly recommended professor!

i took dr. doolin for human biology. he is the best teacher i ever had. he uses powerpoint so dont buy the book, he even told our class not too. his tests are exactly the powerpoints (super easy). he has a great perosnailty and you can tell he really enjoys the subject and teaching. you would be just flat out dumb is you dont take him!

He is so interesting. I recommend taking notes before coming to class (he posts them online) and going to his lecture because he puts things together. Also you DONT NEED THE BOOK. So don't even bother. Study his notes and that's it. Tests are easy!

Would recommend Doolin to anyone not interested in A&P. He takes tough material and relates in a way that makes it easy to understand, and his goofiness makes class fun. We never use the textbook, just take notes prior to class (online) and go to SI occasionally. You have to be able to take the notes and apply them in many ways - don't just review.

He is a very fun teacher and very passionate about A & P but his class was very difficult for me. I would study at least 6 hours a week if not more for his class and I knew the material, but the way he worded his tests were very difficult for me to understand.

I LOVE DR. DOOLIN! And yes he is nice to look at AND to listen to. Anatomy is never easy so don't be fooled. I would recommend Matt Nirshel for the lab but Doolin all the way for lecture. I SWEAR you won't regret it. A little advice: USE A RECORDER! Totally changed my grade! And he's even nice to listen to a second time. :)

I had Dr. Doolin summer A. He is sooooo excited about this subject. Makes you want to learn. Study study study his notes, use a recorder and listen to his lecture. Will take 1086 with him this fall. Awesome!!!

Awesome teacher. Took him for the lab. You have a 10question quiz every week so don't miss class! Tells you what's gonna be on the quiz and goes around class showing you models of things. He loves the subject & makes you want to learn.

if you have a hard time learning or hate school this is the teacher to have. one of the best i've ever had by far. funny, smart, and has a way with making things easy to remember and fun to learn. i love this class and it is by far my favorite, its a hard subject taught by a great teacher so it becomes easy in the end. GREAT PROFESSOR! This is not cake walk of a class. STUDY! STUDY!! STUDY!!! His test can be somewhat hard, but if you study, you WILL pass. Tough part of the class is that lecture is based 100% off of exams(5 to be precise). I recommend him if your looking for a GREAT professor with a bit of a challenge. if you study, you'll do fine!

The greatest teacher I've ever had. Clear, intelligent, fun, relaxing, encouraging, serious about the material and Very funny at the same time. Feels like a conversation, and not a lecture. Sign up Early and ask questions in class (You will not feel stupid). If I had the time, I'd take the class again for fun. (Maybe not at 9:30 am, but again.)

Class is definitely interesting and lectures are enjoyable. Tests are insane, and you must study. I did better than the class average on all tests, but I don't like that you don't get to find out what you did wrong for future reference. There are other prof.s who may not be as interesting, but give better feedback.

Peppers his subject with humor and anecdotes. A friendly, congenial fellow who is always pleasant. It is not his fault that the subject matter is difficult as I've seen some students write. One of the very best professor's on campus!

Probably the best professor in daytona state. freaking hilarious and a brilliant teacher on the subject. the only problem is he really does have alot of annoying followers ( most of them women who literally tell him their life story) ive waited like 20 min to talk to him cause theres a freakin line but other than that def recommend him.

Great class, did ok in anatomy 1 but did not get it. Dr. Doolin teaches in a way that helps you understand the process! So glad I took him for Anatomy 2. He is a very visual teacher... draws, plays videos, gives real life examples that allow us to relate to the material. I would HIGHLY recommend his class and wish he could teach every subject!

DR. Doolin is entertaining as many have stated, but when it comes down to it you don't actually get the info you need. Tests are crazy hard. Took another prof for AP2 and I'm so glad I did (went from C to an A). If you had a hard time w/ Doolin in AP1 consider someone else for AP2. Maring was a great alternative for me. Good luck!

Great guy, very helpful,funny, teaches only from powerpoint,will answer any questions, BUT TEST are very Hard,If you are the type of person who cannot take the information and make it into a working formula, this class is not for you. Currently taking class but have to drop due to low test scores. Will take class again but not with him. Good Luck

i could sit in his class all day and listen to him lecture, not just because he's good to look at, but because he makes bio very interesting. he loves the stuff! i wasnt sure at first because he doesnt give HW so its hard to tell if youre really getting the material and the tests are pretty hard but im actually learning a ton!

The most entertaining class I've had. Like others have said, he teaches just from power points (which you will already have printed) so most of the class is just giving you examples, jokes, etc. His tests ARE tricky and somewhat difficult. What I found useful was printing the notes then jotting down the examples he gives. YOUTUBE helps too

As others have said, you have to study the material he provides, not memorize it but study!!! As Dr. Doolin has said, it is about concepts not just memorizing terms. The enthusiasm he brings to class everyday makes it so enjoyable, the class just flies by. Best teacher I have had at DSC and I've been here for 3 years. HIGHLY recommend!

I have never found a class so amusing yet easy to understand! He connects with the class and answers all of your questions. Since the material can become difficult at times, Dr. Doolin uses analogies that are memorable and helpful. His humor will win you over, and his teaching will stick in your head. Please take his class!

Great professor! He shows power points each class peroiod and the test are based off of it. I didnt use my book once! GREAT class! (Human Biology)

Dr. Doolin is very upbeat, understanding, and helpful. He never once said a negative or snarky thing to anyone in the class. He is a very positive person in general. The lectures are phenomenal. He really loves what he does, which further engages people. Challenging tests, but so worth it if you care about the medical field. Also funny!

Doolin is hilarious! he makes a difficult subject very interesting. He truly loves what he does and wants to share it with others. You have to study for the tests (from powerpoint slides only!) but they are pretty straightforward. No need for textbook. He is friendly to everyone and always smiling. Honestly one of the best classes I've ever taken!

Dr. Doolin is a must have teacher! He is great at making the class interesting and he is sooo hilirous. I wouldnt take an anatomy class with anyone else. His class is easy but only if you apply yourself and study. Dont think you are going to go into the class and get an A without studing. But if you are looking for a great class take this one!!!!!!

What a gifted teacher! His enthusiasm for his field is apparent. His use of humor in his lectures really helped me when it came time to recall the point he was making. Made Human Biology very interesting. I recommend him without hesitation!

The tests are ridiculously hard, but Dr. Doolin is a decent teacher overall. The material in the powerpoints is very confusing if you miss any lectures.

his love for the topic makes you interested, he is funny and keeps your attention for all of lecture class, great teacher!

very friendly, if asked a question will take the time to explain it to you. you actually have to study, going to lecture helps more than just reading his powerpoints. Which they are all online, so print them and bring them to class, you need to know material inside and out tests are hard, but manageable to get a A or B on each test.

He is the best teacher I've ever had in my life. Knows what he's talking about and class is interesting and entertaining.

Dr. Doolin is the most amazing professor I've ever had! He's so excited to come to class every morning & keeps up his attitude through the whole semester. He's downright hilarious & SO handsome. His ppts and reviews ALL are accessible on Florida online. He loves to answer questions. One of the nicest/happiest people you will EVER meet. BUFF too!

I had Doolin last semester. The reason I came to this to rate him is that now I am confident that he is the most clear teacher I have ever had. His lectures are very enthusiastic and interesting! Out of having 23 teachers, he beats them all. He is simply great! Very clear and gets you hooked up (if you want to be hooked up to AP).

Doolin is great. Actually knows what he's teaching and is excited about it. Very funny. The tests are hard and sometimes I feel like a few of the questions are not things we went over/learned in class but other than that he pretty much tells you what will be on it. He explains things very well and is definitely the best teach to take for this class

He was a very Helpful teacher. He always makes the class fun to be in and not boring at all. If you ever have any questions he always answers them and adds in a story or joke to make the info stick. I would definetly recommend him.

Dr. Doolin is an awesome teacher. The class is by no means easy but if you apply yourself and do the practice tests offered you’ll be fine. Dr.Doolin is really passionate about what he is teaching and is always willing to help. He really makes you understand the concepts of things rather than just memorizing what's taught. Dr. Doolin is a great teacher. Go to lecture and lab and you'll do fine. Test questions come from the powerpoint he provides. Also he provides practice exams for lecture and lab exams which are great for preparing for exams. If you put in the time and study the tests for lecture and labs are easy.

Amazing teacher! His tests are 100% on the notes he gives you! If you don't do we'll in this class it's because you're dumb not because he doesn't teach the material. He is amazingly entertaining! TAKE HIM! I studied only the notes he made for us and got an A. I had to study but its all about how determined you are!

a wonderful man and teacher. speaks anatomy fluently and adds a lot of humor to the subject while remaining professional. a good guy who wants students to succeed. no book needed. study power points :)

Dr. Doolin is AMAZING! This class is definitely information overload. He has everything available online for you, answers any and all questions, nothing to big or little for him to answer. It isn't an easy class, but if you put in the time and effort, and do SI. You will have no problem passing his class. Take him for lab too, will help a lot.

Study, read over notes, go to SI, those help too. He's always wanting to help, gives you many opportunities to do good and is very enthusiastic. Makes the class worth attending. I suggest him for A&P most definitely.
