fantastic professor! loved his class, very fair and let's you know exactly what he expects. He uses his real life experiences to make the class material easier to understand and remember. Ohh and he loves girl scout cookies.

Yes…Thank god for professors like Dr. Fraser. He was easy to talk to. An extremely fair grader and he cancelled the presentations. I owe this man half of my retirement. The subjects tought were very intesting. He only has two tests in which he gives the study guide of the same exact questions that will be on the test. Only one essay as well, which is due on the last day of class. It is an 8-10 page paper and I did it the day before and got an A. He is a pretty easy grader. It's a good class. He's a good teacher.

Good class, covers a lot of information, however, if you just skim or survey the chap's before class you can keep up with the lectures otherwise you will always feel left behind. Very fair grader. Will provide excellent if not exact test questions prior to giving the exams, for the midterm & final. You should absolutely study these, then no prob.

he's a good professor. he know his stuff and he's not a hard grader. just read the book and go to class. the paper may seem hard...but he will layout the steps how to do a good paper. don't let the paper scare...you..and you may feel intimidated in the begining of the class...but is not that bad..

Great professor. He lectures a lot and give out alot of notes. Thus be prepare to write A LOT. You can also bring a laptop to class so that you can take the notes quicker. He does give the EXACT questions for the midterm and the final before you take them, so what more do you want.

He speaks very fast but he compensates by giving the exact exam questions (study guide) for the 2 tests. The 10-page paper is EASY b/c he tells you precisely what he wants from the cover page to the bibliography. He's funny, intelligent & knows his s***

He's a very good teacher. He stimulates sometimes... steamy debates for students so everybody participate. He gives you the exact question to study for for the midterm and final (you have to read the book thoroughly to be able to answer them though). The term paper is easy. I breezed through the whole 8 pages of the paper in 2 days.

Very enjoyable class, only because he's a great teacher and person. The subject was a bit unexciting, unless you're into Piaget and Erikson theories of development. I accidentally took this class but still enjoyed it. Dr. Fraser made this Life-Development class into a lesson for students on how to develop a prosperous life. READ THE BOOK!!!

This professor was extremely useful, always available during his office hours. Very nice, ruggedly handsome, a ton of fun...Oh! he teaches you how to write a paper and considering that most people can't spell at this school..well, if that is you...take his class!!!

This Professor is awesome! One of my favorite Professors by far. He gives you the study guides for both the midterm & final and the questions are exactly the same. Lots of group projects. I didnt read much and when i got the guides i just looked up the answers. And there's also a paper that's 8 to 10 pages but very easy as well.

HE really knows his stuff. HE works in the field and you will learn a lot. Study in a group for the test. He even gives you the outline of how he wants the paper. Follow it and you will get a good grade. Took him for the domestic abuse and family violence class.

Best teacher I've ever had.

Great professor, keeps the class interesting. Let's you out an hour early every time for a four hour class. He gives you the questions for the final and midterm and even let our class take our final as an open book test. There is a 8 page paper due but he makes it not so bad.

Attendance is mandatory because it is a quarter of your grade. You are constantly working in groups. 1 paper 8-10 pages long but he guides you through it step by step. Midterm and study guide consist of 100 questions and he even grades it with a curve. The study guide is the actual test but you need to find the answers from the book so read plz.

I enjoyed going to his class. Discussions were interesting. Posts some power points online so there is no need to take notes. He explains the PP which deals with the book. The book is a must since he allows you to use it during the midterm and final which are open book but fairly hard. He curves the class so getting an A is easy. Good professor.

Grading was based on four things: Attendance, 10pg paper, midterm and final.However, there are lots of opportunities for extra credit! He gives you the questions of the midterm and final a week before so that you can study them. Easy class to pass.

Dr. Fraser is a great professor. If you pay attention, take good notes, and most of all read, the class is easy and you learn a lot. A midterm and final; he gives you the questions as a study guide, you figure out the answers. A 10 page paper that he walks you through step by step, so if you have never written a paper before he teaches you how.

Good prof, tough paper writing in all his classes but sometimes his wife subs and she is smart and a hot prof so you cant go wrong.it's like a dynamic duo.

Fun class!

Hands-down, the best professor I've ever had. He makes the class fun and interesting. He teaches the student how to write a paper and read an academic book the easier and faster way. He gives exam study guides too. He knows full knowledge of the subject and you can pretty much ask him anything and he will explain it to you. highly recommended!!!

Fraser is very clear in what he wants from the first day. His assignments are challenging but you get feedback. However, if you don’t like public speaking BEWARE. Peer review mandatory. His words “you get used to it.”

I took his Soc 301 Class! I loved it. It's pretty easy! we had no midterm, no test, only thing we worked on the whole quarter was a 7-10pg paper, which we turned in the day of the final. every class meeting we go over powerpoints and/or review what part of the paper we have done. easy class i would recommend.

I love this class. He was straight to the point. There was a midterm, final, and a 10-page research paper. At first, I thought his way of teaching how to write the research paper was dumb but it made it easy. Love it. Easy. Definitely recommend him!

Just finished taking this course. If you have taken any classes at this school, he is by far a great lecturer and one of the best professors on this campus. Gives you a mid term, a final, and a ten page paper. He may give out a study guide, but his questions are by far challenging. Attend class and take good notes, you will pass with flying colors.

He is a great professor. He teaches how to read the fastest way and to waste less time. He is a great lecturer as well. He gives a midterm and a final which are 30 multiple choice questions and baaed on lecture notes and reading. Make sure to read and take good notes. Overall great professor.

Professor Fraser taught me the steps on how to properly write a paper in ASA format. I enjoyed his class and his teachings. He is very knowledgeable. Although, I admit you have to thoroughly read the textbook because he doesn't make the answers to the midtermfinal very clear.

His class structure is so organized. I took Religion with him, and his tests were challenging. You need to know most of the information from lectures. He gives you 10 for the study guide, but he only chooses 5 questions for the exams. Also, a 10pg paper! Extra credit! Fun religion class! Watch Going clear documentary. You can do an extra credit.

Must have the textbooks assigned. You will read them as he gives 100q mc tests and or essay questions. Attendance is mandatory. He is an awesome lecturer,funny,helpful and approachable professor. One of the best in csula. I've taken 4 classes with him, he is very knowledgeable you will learn something in his classes.

In order to pass his class you MUST READ. His exams are not hard at all as long as you study. The essays are not hard at all because you are working on it every week and his gives you an easy formula to use. Yes, the exams are 100 questions but it is easy if you study the study guide. He is an awesome professor, he applies his work to his lectures.

Dr. Fraser is a great professor. Took his Writings for sociology course and was a great way to learn to write a paper. We worked on one paper in 10 weeks. No midterm, no final. But the final paper is your overall grade along with attendance. I'd definetly take him again!

3rd class i take with fraser. one 8-10 page research paper. and a 100q midterm and final. he gives the exact questions to study a week before. great lectures. he applies it to life and you actually learn a lot. great sense of humor as well. lectures were never boring

He helps you with writing the 1 paper he assigns throughout the quarter, dedicated many class days to get our study guides done (he provides the exact questions that'll be on the midterm and final), and gave us the opportunity to receive a TON of extra credit! His lecture are never boring and very informative. Easy A!

Dr. Fraser is an organized professor with a sense of humor. Throughout the semester, there is one 10 paged paper, but he helps you write the paper. Only three exams (mulitpe choice) and extra credit. I highly recommend to study for his exams and if you need more help with your paper, visit him during office hours. Overall, not a boring class.

This class demands that you are organized & read every chapter assigned, take notes, & use those notes in the weekly assigned papers. This was a difficult class, & consumed a lot of time so be efficient and retake the quizzes with the highest score possible (2 attempts allowed). The midterm & final were majority questions used in previous quizzes!

This was an online class, no zoom but did have recorded lectures on the modules to view if you'd like. Ever week there is a quiz and 1,000 word essay to write about the chapter topic. Quizzes and essay prompt are right out of the chapter reading. 3 exams with the same questions as previous quizzes so make study guide of the previous quizzes to help

weekly chapter quizzes (online) which can be found on quizlet. 3 exams (also online) one research paper that you work on throughout the semester. attendance is part of grade. says the book is mandatory but we didn't use it at all. lectures can get a bit boring but he tries his best to make it engaging. I'd recommend for an easy A.
