great teacher, very helpful

mmm...mixed feelings...nice guy, but sometimes was harsh to certain people. Thus not always easy to speak with. Overall though a good professor.

He talks to much about his personal life.. and tells us to use his morals. example: "your most important decision is who you marry." umm stay out of my business. Also you have to do a 30min presentation and crap load of work.

He seems not happy with his job, and seems very cold and strict. I've never talk to him at all before the final, but it was my mistake. He really likes to help student (somestines very funny)! Do not miss the extra credits! I didn't do very well the first and second tests, but I did the reading extra credit and got A!

Mr. Ghidella is very concise when it comes to explaining things. He is a great teacher and I am learning a lot about Real Estate in his class.

Mr. Ghidella, or Professor Rich as we call him, is such an understanding teacher. I was out with a medical excuse and missed the normal midterm exam, so he let me make it up when I came back. Professor Rich, you ROCK!!! Anyone would be a fool not to take his class.

loved this teacher!! He is the best and I wish he taught more business classes.. he grades on a big curb and gives tons of extra credit.. I got an A in class.. quizes are straight from book(answers in back of book) test fair.. he will pass you.. paper I did night before it was due got an A easy!! Cool man!!

His Finance class is great -read the book. He will tell you what is on the essay part of the exam so that easy. Lot of the book is on the exam and he does not talk about it so read the book. If you show up to class each day this is an easy A. Best part of class is he jokes with the clueless people in class. You will learn something Go Prof Rich

Ghidella is one funny guy, but he seems to think we're still in the Business world getting paid for our work. His methods tear my thoughts because he seems to expect too much and you really have to watch your mistakes with me, but on the other hand I suppose that's preparation for the real world. All in all, he should remember we're LEARNING.

At first I thought he was a jurk - but after asking a few questions and meeting him in his office I chould not belive how much he helped me. I learned more talking to him after class then in most of my other classes. READ THE BOOK. He comes off as a jurk the first 3 or 4 weeks and then gets much nicer. Good Class

If you want to learn he helps a lot if you just want an answer for the exam he will blow you off. Put in your time on the project or he will make a fool out of you! Kind of a jerk at first but I think that is because he wants to get some studens to drop the class. He is very helpful after week 8 or 10.

He's a great teacher, but if you're a bad student, one who texts during class, talks why he's talking, don't take his class. If you have a slight interest in finance, you will leave the with more interest in finance. He told me it would be alright if I asked him for future advice in real estate and investments etc.

I took Prof Rich's class at Northwood University. He is not for the faint of heart, lazy, or unprepared. This class was supposed to be the 2nd to last for my BBA; it should be hard. I put a lot of time into this class, and I really nailed it. Take this professor if you want to learn finance. You will get your money's worth from his classes.

I read some of the other ratings and must say.. THIS IS COLLEGE FOLKS! It's not his job to caress your hands. I believe your effort determines his attitute towards you! He is serious about his subjects and feels you should be too. I received an A+ on every project & I worked for every one! P.S. He gives extra credit when your work warrants it!

Great professor, does EXACTLY what he says he will in the syllabus. I am taking every class this guy teaches. Just do the reading and the extra credit and you will have an A

Took this class with a friend. I did all the reading, homework and got an A. One of the two best classes at Citrus I ever took. She never did study or any home work. He nailed her on the group report with question after question showing she actually did nothing. I love him and learned all about money - she thinks he is a jerk. READ THE BOOK = A

I had professor Rich for Real Estate and yes the class was very hard, But the class should be hard the profession is hard, There are mandatory tests to be taken when finished if you go on to get your real estate license so you Must be Ready, He was very helpful to me and I Have no complaints about this professor. Spends a lot of time to make sure you understand time vaule of money. First test you need an A because the others are very hard. He is very easy on the eyes and funny.

dont know if it was the combination of taking this class with Lisa villa's counseling class or what but it was by far one of the best experiences i have had in college. wish i would have known about this learning community in the beginning. i learned so much from both professors! i wouldnt say its EASY, but you cant be lazy either iykwim

enjoyed his class! helpful on getting concepts.. ask questions.he does not like late or unprepared people. Bring calculator! he will call u out if you are not prepared but don't get yer feelings hurt. he's a no nonsense kinda guy.Do the extra credit I didn't and was 3 points from a B.. DARN.

I was a bit scared the frist 2 weeks with all the math but it was not that hard. M/C exams are hard. He takes a lot of time to explain things. Very helpful class. I learned so much. He has so much insight on everyday lessons and life-long lessons also, you do need to attend class because you will miss so much info missing one day, also you will need to read the book for test too. i took this class with Lisa Villas counseling class and it was so much fun i loved the learning community.

This guy is amazing! I was thinking about dropping his class in the beginning because I'm horrible at math, but he really helped me out. He is supper hot to!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this professor. Not only is he hot but he has this dry sense of humor that is hilarious. The class was pretty easy as long as you do the readings. NEVER COME IN LATE OR FORGET YOUR CALCULATOR! SERIOUSLY! Ace the first test because they only get harder. This class is a must take because you learn so much!! :)

Knowledgable teacher..not much lecture..most of the test are ALL in reading the book..when people leave class early when they shouldnt or text..he randomly gives a quiz so don't do this in his class..being committed is part of being in college..if not..school is not for you..lots of work that can be implemented in your life but worth it.

Great Teacher - this class should be required. Very funny - would love to hear an uncensored version of what he is thinking.Make sure to go to class. Much of the exam is not in the book

Makes personal financing very fun and interesting. I love his sense of humor. Just remember to do all of the work he requires and you will pass. Attendance is mandatory!

He is awesome! I took him in Spring 2013 and I definitely learned so much from him! Do your work and ask questions. He is very knowledgeable about finances and makes you really think about your own financial goals for the future. I am happy I took his class!

Highly recommended professor to learn skills on personal financing. Great communicator and is extremely helpful if you seek out the help. Not to mention TOTALLY HOT! Ladies, he's an eye candy and can be very distracting in class. lol but overall if you're looking for ways to manage your money, he's GREAT! He'll even set aside time to assist!

This is a class that should be taken by all, not simply business majors. The knowledge learned through this course will serve you well for the rest of your life. Although the course's focus is on personal finance, it will also provide you with wisdom on relationships, personal happiness, and many other subjects.

Great Class - Great teacher. Show up each day or you will miss a lot of stuff that is not in the book. I am on the football team so I am not going to say if he is good looking but the two girls next to me talked about his eyes all the time - LOL. He is funny and smart. I am a Sr at Cal Poly and the only thing that stops Prof Rich from being the best teacher I ever had were the due dates changed all the time. He never knew exact dates so you must stay on top of changing due dates for papers and exams. He knows his stuff and I learned a ton. He is funny, smart and my 2nd favorite teacher ever. This is a great class

Material is very good and very knowledgeable on the subjects. Very self centered though and couldn't teach sometimes because he was too lost talking about himself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING ONLINE.

Probably the only thing that was "hard." He gave us a lot of xtra credit opportunities, do Learnsmart & HW for Financial Project EASY A! RECOMMEND TO TAKE!!!

My favorite professor of fall semester! He does talk about himself a lot but he talks about experiences will help you see correlation with the topics he is teaching. The material you learn is life saving! Material is very easy if you pay attention. Only downside for this class is the weekly online work that requires the book.

There's 1 exam and a final. Easy but time-consuming weekly online homework and quiz (which you need to read the book to know how to do because he doesn't really go over it, like at all). Funny teacher and willing to help if you put in the effort, wont help lazy students. Talks about his life a lot, learned a few things from it. Kinda mean though

The best professor I ever had. HE really teaches you about money and how to succeed in the future. He can be mean and straight forward, but he is teaching real life scenarios. You must read the book for the extra credit as it bump my grade from a B to an A.

Ghidella is awesome. He's pretty laidback, super funny, and breaks down the content so it can be understood better. I highly recommend taking him, this class really helps you in the long run. There's a lot of online homework, not going to lie. There's one exam and one final, which are almost impossible to pass if you slack off at all. Take him!

I learned so much from his class. Every thing you learn in his class you will need to know for LIFE. In all honesty, it's the most important class I've ever taken. Learning about how to invest your money, how to save it, etc. He teaches you about things that actually matter in life and not just for the credits. Everyone needs to take it.

Took his distance RE Principles class. Clear instructions, everything is out of the book and easy to comprehend and remember for midterm and final. Would definitely take another class by this prof. You can tell he wants his students to succeed and do well on state BRE exam.

Took his online class. Lots of reading. Tests are easy. Mainly grades based off of "Connect" his online book source and quizzes. There's also a personal plan that is assigned but he makes it very clear through videos how he wants it done. Overall very easy class.

Professor Ghidella knows what he's talking about. He gives so much good information that you'll actually use when you leave college. I definitely would love to take him again. He's refreshingly honest too. You will have to keep up on the weekly online assignments to get better than a C in the class.

One of the best classes that I've taken at Fullerton College. There were 2 exams (midterm and final), online hw due every other week, and 1 Project. Offers quite a few extra credit opportunities. I recommend going to the Supplemental Instruction sessions for the class because they are very helpful. Overall great class and professor. :-)

I loved him as a teacher, he offers extra credit. But, will only give it out if you participate. Sometimes he would offer extra credit just for showing up to class. He allows you to use notes on your final, and when he is lecturing he tells you this will be on you final. The online quizzes weren't bad either 20 questions and a 30 minute time limit

BEST LIFE TEACHER! Not only does he actually make business fun, but he prepares you for life. He's pretty sarcastic, but that's why I loved his class haha there is a lot of online homework, but it's not hard at all. He will make sure that everyone is confident with everything that is on the tests before you take it. Sit in the front :)

A lot of online homework, can be time consuming. Weekly online quizzes, timed 30-minutes. Very sarcastic, but enjoyable! Looks like Blake Shelton. Just 1 midterm and the final. Along with 1 project, he helps you with step by step in class. Great credit +personal enrichment class! By far one of the most important classes any college student can take

He has a great (sarcastic) sense of humor, but he's full of useful information that's really relevant. There's lots of hw, but it's easy, just time consuming. One project, but he works it out with you and you have multiple opportunities to ask him questions about yours and make sure you're doing it right. You won't regret taking this class with him

Great class and a great teacher. The class project is big but we work on it all semester so its not that bad. Very funny and sarcastic - I loved him but if your thin skinned and need a "safe space" don't take him. I learned so much about money - I now know how the rich get rich and why the poor stay poor. He comes across dry but do yourself a favor and listen to the man. He knows what he talking about and will not guide you wrong. There is a lot of time consuming work and a project that seems hellish but you'll get through it. The material is very valuable in life . He worked with the publisher to keep book cost down, hell of a professor.

Professor Ghidella, he was the best professor I have had in Citrus College. He cares for his students. He gives great lectures. The best thing about having his class, is that for the students who work hard, he rewards them with a surprise, I won't ruin it. Just work for that A in the class and you'll see what I mean. He's the BEST!

This professor said that Personal Finance is the most important class you'll ever take in college, and after taking his class, I agree. His lectures are very informative and hilarious. He also uses his real life examples to get the point across. You will need to buy the textbook w/ online access for the homework and the financial plan.
