This was so fun. I took it just to take it during summer and got an A. He's very understanding and I felt at ease with him about talking about legal situations in my life. Awesome!

Goff is really easy bc his tests and lectures are straight forward. He's really funny, makes the subject interesting, and is easy to communicate with as far as absences etc. He also drops your lowest of 4 test scores, which is cool.

This instructor brings with him not only his expertise and knowledge of criminal justice, but his personal experience in the field. Every class is fun and educating, a lecture that you could never fall asleep in. I have been a student for 9 years and know which teachers really care about there job and he does. He is the best teacher on campus.

Mr. Goff is very inspirational and outspoken. I recommend every class he teaches to anyone interested in the CJS.

Prof. Goff is one of the best teachers at VC, he knows a lot about what he's teaching and just to make things fun he throws random off the wall funny stuff in his lectures. He is AWESOME and he can kick some mean ASS . . . litterally(take his Ju Jitsu class and you'll see)! He made coming to school fun . . . everyone should take him!!!

Prof. Goff is by far the BEST teacher I have ever had, which includes the 4-year university I attended after VC. He is highly intelligent, clearly spoken, funny, and completely entertaining! He has very useful real-world experiences which he shares with his students. His classes are never monotonous; he makes every subject interesting and fun!!

His class is easy. U could sleep through it & still get an A. He uses different material every year.He writes up the tests the night before the test day. He gives you exactly what is on the test the day before. Gives a lot of notes on the white board they are veuseful. He is really nice a most of the time acts like a smart butt.

Great class. He's really funny and has a lot of interesting stories. He keeps the class interested and it is really worth going too. He gives you all the information you need for tests and is really helpful. It is always good to have a teacher that knows what he's talking about, and Goff definately does.

Geat Ju Jutsu instructor. You MUST come to class or you WILL fall behind. Helps you wheter you want help or not =). Makes safety his top priority, before actuall instruction. This means that you have to follow his instructions to the letter, but its so you wont get hurt. Just make sure your in ok physical shape or class might be kinda of hard.

I took a cj class with Goff as a filler class to finish my degree in another major. After taking his CJ1 class,his inspiration was inspiring. I changed majors to CJ and just received my CJ degree. If you pay attention to his stories you will find a lesson in each one If you show him an interest in learnig, he'll show ainterest in teaching you.

Hilarious teacher!! if you didn't like his jokes... maybe you should grow up and take an actual joke. he had the class rollin!! (not rated PG) his tests are to the point. he wants exact answers. but he will give u them in the notes.

Funniest professor ever! This is the class you look forward to. He picks on people who can take it. Works with the class to understand what he wants on tests. He's very straightforward. Always has interesting funny stories that tie in with lesson. Jokes about his wife's high sexual demands, and acts gay sometimes too. Too funny! I got an A.

I loved his class. He may come off abrasive to some students, but he is a real nice guy. He makes the class laugh and he is very knowledgeable about criminal justice and law. The criminal investigations class is awesome and fun. There's a typed term paper and midterm that is take home. The final he goes over in class. He is very helpful

He's really funny. He does curse when he lectures but he does that to make class entertaining. He tends to go off-topic when he is in a good mood. There are only 4 tests but his grading is a bit rough. Highly recommended!

Phenomenal professor. He is very knowledgeable in law enforcement and makes you want to come to class. He is very entertaining and can be a little crass but doesn't offend. Will take more classes from him. I give him a 10 out of 10!

The most fascinating professor. Love his humor and very knowledgeable about criminal justice. His tests are challenging and you need to attend class in order to get a good grade. His whole lecture is mostly based around what will be on the test. If you are a sensitive person then this class is not for you.

Very knowledgeable on criminal justice. Classes are usually packed and attendance is mandatory or you'll be dropped to make room for others. Taking precise notes will help during tests otherwise grading can be tough. Gives extra credit throughout the semester. Would take again.

At first I didn't think I'd like him and was about to drop but he is actually one of the best professors ever! A couple extra credit opportunities and the tests are pretty easy. Never a boring moment in the class. His stories from NYPD are my favorite part of the class.

Professor Goff should definitely be taken if you are a CJ major because he is one of the most inspiring people you will ever meet. Professor Goff is hilarious. Take good notes. He gives plenty of opportunities for Extra Credit which are fairly easy. Pay attention and laugh at his jokes lol. During Covid 19 he was very supportive, I would definitely take another class of his.

I had a great experience with him. 3 Tests, 1 quiz & 1 discussion per week. 1 extra credit paper. Offers online lectures & an electronic book so you don't have to break ur bank account. Accessible outside of class if you are interested in the CJ/law field. Provides great feedback & really cares about the material & students. I would recommend 100%.

What more can I say about Prof. Goff except he is an amazing human being. Helped me out as much as I could during a bad time for my mental health and it pains me that I had to withdraw from his class. He is a very funny professor and add little funny images to his lectures. Created a safe and helpful environment for me! :)

Really enjoyed Prof Goff's class. He has a lot of experience in the criminal justice field and is passionate about it. He recognizes and appreciates the students who show interest in what they're learning from his lectures/discussions. Don't float your way through because it's really interesting. Utilize the slides during the open book quizzes.

Good professor! Funny, and hard core, experienced everything he teaches firsthand. Opinionated for sure. Takes forever to grade, like months. Other than that fairly easy. One attempt on all quizzes and exams a bit stressful but ok.
