Awful teacher! Do not take him! He does not help you with anything. He gets frustrated and angry if you ask questions. Hard Class! Not worth it.

Worst instructor ever. Has stupid cheesy powerpoint slides, infatuated with the wizard of oz and likes to hear himself talk. DO NOT TAKE HIM. His exams are hard and so are assignments. He relies WebCT to do all the work since he can't perform simple functions like teaching.

Do not take this professor he does not care for the student on a level that a good professor would.He is very conservative in his decision making. The grade that you get is the grade you get. Example if you have a 89.9 you get a B. plan a simple no understanding..........

Through all my courses taken at HCC, i just got done taking Gosselin and he is horrible. Be warn if you take him because his Exams are based on his own writing and opinion. His personality over all is very likable. But as far as his teaching skills, it is not up to par. He never answers questions directly and when asked for help i was directed to watch youtube videos of another teacher. Then gets frustrated when class is failing. DON'T TAKE HIM!

This professor is horrible. Do not take him. I studied all semester through and got bad grade. He is more qualified to English composition teacher. He gave us review questions for exam and none of them came to the test. He just likes to fail student. Again horrible professor!

Usually 2-4 quizes a week, plus walkstreet journal quiz in which you just read 5 articles ($20 a month)Class is filled with games, no lectures which makes it hard to learn. I took his online class and it was very difficult. Things would be posted late or close to due dates. Some of the things we had to do were not useful in the class. Tests were hard and one even had questions over a topic we had not learned yet.

Took him online and had to email him weekly because he would post the wrong assignments or he wouldn't post them at all. Didn't hear one positive thing about this professor (according to people who were taking the same course with me at the time). There is a lot of work, and reading. Be prepared to be on top of things.

very hard class that shouldn't be this hard. you need to put a lot of effort and time into. if you have a heavy schedule dont take this class. he expects you to invest a lot of time into this class outside of school. he gives reviews for tests but they are nothing like test. overall wouldn't recommend. good luck

This professor seems to not care about his students. No extra credit and reviews are completely different from tests. His exams are extremely difficult. Finding a different professor for Econ 2302.

I can not stress this enough, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! He expects you to learn this hard terms on your own and when it comes to test time basically tricks you with questions. Class averages were the lowest I've ever seen in an online class. He also doesn't reply to emails regarding anything. If you don't want to lower your gpa, don't take this class

this class was extremely hard, he offered to do group zoom's which was only a couple times and if you book a time with him separately he didn't help, he states I should already know this. The quizzes are hard and i do not feel he grades fairly. there was almost 30 kids in my class and when i withdrew there was only like 10 left.

This class was tough. Im an A student and I got my first B in this class. Unbelievable! His exams are all written answers and excel spreadsheets.

Mr. Gosselin grades extremely harsh and will hand out zeros for minor flaws in work. He also claims to strive to teach without a political bias which is false, considering he bashes his opposing political party frequently. He also makes minimal effort to help students understand, and even makes inappropriate comments.

Probably the biggest a$$hat I have ever met. He was rac1st, sex1st, and gave of major ped0 vibes (I took this in hs for duel credit and am a 17 year old girl). His tests almost reached the level of bu11 $h1t that came out of his mouth. If I had him as a teacher for one more day, the janitor would be mopping up my brains on the floor.

He doesn’t respond to emails or the message board. He makes videos of himself asking questions in his own words during exams. He refuses to add captions or transcribe his videos. He is a gatekeeper. He doesn’t not want you to succeed. You have to do it ALL independently to succeed in this class. The internet Is more helpful than him.

He gives no extra credit. Tough grader i dropped my class.

This professor does give proper prep resources for exams. But, as a result, lectures do not correlate with exams and are often difficult to follow. If you have other responsibilities, run away as fast as you can. Do not wait until the first exam. Drop as soon as you can. It's not worth it.

His was so boring it was easier to pay attention to him heavily breathing from just walking around the class room than the info. The amount of gramar mistakes in his question are more than an elementary students that is learning how to read and write would have. If u dont answer his lecture questions he will laser stare at u until someone answers.

I put inspirational tag because it inspired me to be a way better person than him. I don't even want to be a teacher but I feel like I could become one today and better than him.

Any time I emailed him questions he would respond extremely passive aggressively, telling me to read the syllabus. We had very few assignments he would grade us off of, and would often patronize or yell at us for not answering his extremely random questions.

Mr Gosselin is an incredibly passive aggressive individual.If one does not know something he would rather tell you you should have known or read the syllabus rather than aid a student. He similarly likes to offload his history knowledge until the bell rings leaving you with more knowledge on how money was transported rather than how money works

He would supply random questions at all times, even on tests. For example, on one of our exams he asked about a random Olympic trivia question, in which the answers were not economic at all. Honestly this guy was so confusing, rambling on and on about randomly over-detailed theoretical scenarios that had little to no connection to our lesson.

BEWARE! POS...He will create quizzes and exams that do not correlate to the text in the book. On the exams, he paraphrases or replaces certain words that the books uses with similar words of his own personal vocabulary. So, it's more of a critical analysis English class than an Economics course. His exams were unreasonably difficult for ECON 2301!

This professor was unreasonably difficult. He is very nice and is willing to help you out if you ask. His lectures never made sense. Chapter 7 of the textbook discusses the banking system and how the federal reserve works, and for that entire lecture he gave was just about the gold rush. Tests are very difficult and doesn't relate to the book.

PLEASE READ: This professor uses artificial intelligence for his all online classes. Discussion posts are 60% of the grade, and he grades, writes feedback, and responds to emails using AI, which is unreasonably harsh and the feedback it generates is rarely helpful. Do not take this class online under any circumstances if possible.

Prof uses AI not only to create every single assignment but also uses AI to grade your assignments, so good luck getting any sort of decent grade. His tests are graded on how many words you can cram into an answer. None of his quiz answers relate to textbook material. Grading is atrocious, the final exam mean grade was under a 50%. Highest was 80%

This guy is terrible. Classwork has nothing to do with textbook. More of an English class than econ. uses AI to grade all assignments and hands out 50's like its nothing. Got in trouble with admin and still uses AI. I am an A student in honors college at UH and still got shafted on my grade. If u wanna do a lot of work and still fail take his class

Professor has a God complex. Students have to use lock down browser with camera on so he can watch them take tests. They are only allowed to use one 3x5 card with handwritten notes.Overly heavy load of reading material and homework every week. The hypocrite uses AI to grade assignments and provide feedback to students. I would not recommend him.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! The exams consisted of random scenarios, which didn't correlate to what was taught in the textbook. Don't waste your time reading chapters since it won't help at all; just watch YouTube or wing the tests because you won't learn a thing from him. Exams were 35% each, which is basically your entire grade. Didn't learn a thing.

He was literally my worst one. His grading is unusual and you can't see your grade throughout the semester. He doesn't give the clearest instructions and you have to email him for additional information. His midterm and final were so difficult. There are 8-9 questions and in each question were 3 short responses. I'm a A-B student and I failed..

I'm warning you, please don't take this class, especially if you care about your gpa. You will learn nothing about economics, and AI is encouraged. For the first two weeks of the class, there was literally nothing posted and the syllabus had no dates. When something was finally posted, it was in the very back of D2L. Tests are worth a lot too.

I took this class for the credit. The professor emphasizes academic integrity—it's mentioned in nearly every assignment. Be aware that the use of AI is strictly prohibited. The course includes a lot of content, but the exams often expect much deeper understanding than what's covered or emphasized in class.
