He is definetly one of the best teacher for ADJ. He knows his stuff. He has a lot of experience in the field. He's been a lawyer, marine,fbi,on the swat team, chief hostage negotiator, parole & probation officer and so much more. He is a very good teacher. Take his class and you'll be satisfied.

Professor Holtz was awesome!!! He made learning fun and so easy!! It was like we weren't in class, it wasn't a boring class at all he made is fun and always interesting and he actually knew what he was talking about because he's done every aspect of the law enforement feild and he's done it well!!!! this was my 2nd time taking a class with Professor Holtz. Last Fall, I had no clue who he was but I took the Intro to Law Enforcement just because of interest. He's the most interesting and funny professor I've ever had! Makes class fun with all his stories! He gives you reviews of everything on his quizzes.

Great professor. Very easy classes. Just show up for class everyday and you will have at least a B right there. And for homework, all the homework is to write down two things you have learned from the previous class. We had one paper due for the whole semester, even then it was just two pages long and he does not check grammar. So easy.

Professor Holtz is great! He has a wonderful sence of humor and he knows his stuff. The class is extremely interesting and you take notes often. The notes are helpful b/c they are actually the questions on the test.Very very humerous, take all the classes that u can get that he teaches.Love em' want some more of em'!

if you have a chance to take any of his classes jump right on it! Holtz is the fonz of professors ! holtz doesn't use the book that much.( i know some students didnt even buy the books) but he tells you exactly what would be on the test. the biggest thing about his class is to JUST SHOW UP!( and i would listen to the man because he knows his stuff

I have taken holtz for many classes and he is a great prof. He is helpful in and out of class. He is very clear on what you need to study. Listen and go to class and do your work. Then if u get less then a B, your an idiot.

Professor Holtz def. kept me going to T.C.C. I am NOT a morning person, but every Tuesday & Thursday I was anxious to get to class to hear his lecture. He talks the whole class- mostly about his life experiences, today's world, & gives you the EXACT questions&answers for each test= so TAKE NOTES & study them & you'll do great!

I took ADJ 110, ADJ 140, ADJ 211, and ADJ 234.I thoroughly enjoyed each of the classes Mr.Holtz taught. His method of teaching works best & prepares you for tests. I had an interest for law before I took his classes, yet Mr.Holtz helped me evolve that interest into a passion for law studies. He's extremly insightful & helpful, definitly the best!

Professor Holtz is the best professor, by far, for the ADJ program. He will help you in any way he can. I had absolutely no interest in Admin. of Justice until I took his Domestic Violence class two years ago. I will now be graduating with my ADJ degree in the Spring thanks to him. Take any class that Prof Hotz teaches. he has a vast knowledge of his subject matter. He relates this to real life situations. Hes funny, keeps your attention. I have had 4 classes with him so far, excellent instructor. I would recommend him to everyone.

Take Prof. Holtz for any and every ADJ class that he teaches in your degree plan. He is funny, knowledgable, has real-life experience on the subject matter. It's almost impossible to fail his class... he gives you notes, you take a couple of quizzes, you write one opinion paper... you ace the class! You always get what you expect with this prof!

Mr. Holtz is awesome. He makes the classes very interesting and is very clear about his expectations of the class. He's very knowledgable and is a great teacher. 4 tests, all easy if you study for like 10 minutes, easy to take notes, and an interesting paper at the end and fun to write. This man has done everything! Marine, cop, hostage negotiator, FBI agent, lawyer...or he's a great liar. Either way, he knows his stuff and discussions are always interesting. Just wish it were only face-to-face instead of hybrid so we could hear more stories and relevant info.

Favorite professor/teacher ever. He is funny, smart, entertaining, and interactive. His "notes" are the questions and answers that are going to be on the quizzes/tests..which there were only 3 of. Take home final. Doesn't count absences. And not sure why he has a hot rating.. he's kinda old ladies!!

Very easy class. He gives you all the notes that you need to pass the tests. He doesn't require you to buy the newest edition of the textbook so don't. He is very funny and makes getting up early worth it. He also has lots of great stories. Lastly his final is just a page about a topic that interests you. I will definitely be taking him again.

Professor Holtz is clear about what is to be expected in the class. Easy to get a hold of if any questions about the papers and the work. Gives you advance notice on things that are going to come up like quizzes and tests. Very easy t work with as long as you communicate with him. I would take any other class that he teaches. Great Teacher. Pay attention, do the work and complete the homework on blackboard, turn in your home at the beginning of each class. Great discussions. Strait to the point and gives you what you need to know for the test. Study your notes and you will do fine, use a recorder for the class and then listen to it at home to write down the notes.

How does he not have a perfect score on this website?? Don't buy new book any edition is accepted. Read chapter, post your 3 questions online, goes over chapter gives you the exact questions on the test so you can study. He even says you shouldn't fail his class. Funniest guy for military/FBI background, love love love personality.

How do i even begin? Hmmmmm this professor, that magnificent of a human is the best of the best haha. I enjoy every second of this class, the open discussions and his straight fowardness. The class is simple and to the point, all you have to do is take the notes he gives you and study and do the homework. Your sure to get the grade you so desire.

I am new to the Criminal Justice classes, so I had no idea what to expect. I really enjoyed being in Professor Holtz's class and found him to be not only very knowledgeable but very entertaining. It's rare to find a professor who has students hate to miss the class, but I found that was the case with him. I highly recommend his classes to all!

He is very knowledgeable and caring about the students, keeps you laughing and you always know where you stand with him. Why miss his classes?
