Started off slow and serious, but class got better as it went along. You can tell he loves teaching and has good experience. Too many stories, good stories, but lots of them.

I recommend that you take professor Hyland if your major is Marketing. I have no interest in Marketing but he made it interesting. He connects things with the text to your own personal life, so its easier to relate to. He is a very fair and thorough professor and really cares if you pass the class.

Hyland is a great professor. Class isn't really him lecturing you its more of a discussion. He's very good about answering questions. You have weekly quizzes that you take online and have multiple chances to take them. Do your reading before class and you'll pass. He's an easy going guy and his class is defiantly manageable. Take his class!

Hyland is definitely one of my favorite professors at WCC. He structures his lectures in a way that you end up clearly understanding the material. Using both real-life examples and book material there is never a dull moment in class. In terms of getting a student ready for the real world, he is the best.

Dr. Hyland is a knowledge professor. His classes are vey dynamic and without even knowing it, you are actually learning. His material is useful in the real world. You can get an "A" if you do all your homework (which is due every week) and study for the test and midterm (which is based on the semester's homework)

I feel lucky to have had Prof. Hyland for 2 semesters. I had him for Bus Org and now for Global Business. Prof. Hyland is a very nice and chill person. For Global Business the whole semester is group projects. Choose your group wisely, you are stuck with them all semester. If you need advice or a confidence boost, he is the person to talk to.

I have taken Professor Hyland for the past two semesters and have to say that he is the best professor I have had at WCC. Wish every prof was like Hyland. There are online quizes for each chapter which are the SAME EXACT questions & answers for the midterm and final. most of the class work is group projects which you pick at the beg (that was only downfall) Def take him if any class very understanding and works with you to help you and whatever goals you have.

Professor Hyland has a lot of experience and knowledge about business, He gives a very clear syllabus and has extremely easy quizzes and tests. You definitely need the textbook! Be aware that a lot of work is done through group projects but you get to choose your own group so make sure you get some hard working people and you should be fine.

Find the smartest students in the class and become their group partner. 1/4 of the grade is the final group project and you remain with the same group from day 1. I'm not gonna lie, i'm a C+ student, but i picked 3 geniuses for my group of 3 A+ students and i just rode their success on every group project. they'd get A+ i'd get an A-, pick right!

He shares life experiences rather than talk a lot about the boring text book, more like a seminar setting. Group projects are 80% of your grade, plus the online quizzes. Take him, you won't regret!

So. Much. Work. Took the winter online course. There are 20 quizzes, 4 short essays, a midterm, a final, a 20 page final paper, a project, and a final project. ALL SQUEEZED INTO 2 WEEKS. SO much work but i guess if you have the time its easy. You can do as much work as you want each day

He is an awesome guy and an amazing professor. The group projects were challenging, but I learned a lot. Some of the things he said changed the way I see the world.

You must work at this class all the time. There are chapters to read & be tested on simultaneously while working on the papers. There are 4 in total that will connect at the end. The criteria is clear, he is very organized & helpful. The entire semester of work is posted so it is work at your pace. You will learn something!

Professor Hyland is a fantastic professor. He wants everyone to succeed and gives you all the chances to do so. His class isn't a pushover though. If you don't put in the work, you will fail. His lectures are engaging and practical, and he has a wealth of experience to share. And if group projects aren't your thing, prepare to be challenged.

Best professor I have ever had. all the exams are so easy, you have to really not care to fail. but if you hate group projects don't take the class. he gives good feedback and actually cares about his students, this is my second semester with him and both times near finals he takes time to call people up 1 by 1 to talk to them about their gpa

professor Hyland is a great guy. online quizzes are the exact same questions in the midterm and final. do the quizzes constantly and you will memorize them easy. i finished his midterm in 6 minutes and it was 70 questions. great lectures, he gives you free parenting advice, and he will understand when the class is not feeling it and let you bounce.

Amazing professor, class is Discussion based and very entertaining, chapter quizzes(multiple attempts), 4 papers(1 page), 3 group presentations, midterm(first 7 chapters) final(last 7 chapters) based off chapter quizzes.

The class itself was normal. Be sure to read the syllabus and do the quizzes. The way blackboard was formatted made it confusing for me to understand, but you have to make sure to do the quizzes because you only get one shot. Good luck!

Honestly such a great professor, I had him for online classes and he really cares about your grades. He gave us quizzes but he would let us take them multiple times until we got a 100 to prepare us for the midterm and final. The key terms honestly really helped. I would totally take him again if I needed to. He will also give you rally good advice!

If you show up, you pass means that you have to participate to understand the concepts. Your grade is earned and not necessarily a given. You must respect others at all times in the class in language, the manner in which you address your classmates, and in your body language. You should not schedule appointments during this session.
