i actually liked this class! he is very helpful!!

very dry sense of humor... tries to keep class engaged...He likes to make you realize a point instead of just telling you.

You think you are doing good til you get your grade

The class is full of boring lectures that just waste time (easy to skip). But when it comes to papers he really seems to help.

Great guy.

He's a cool guy. He's funny sometimes. Writing classes are always scheduled on two hour blocks, so if you want to be bored for two hours, twice a week, he's the professor for you.

Very helpful. I was scared to turn my portfolio in, but I made all the changes he suggested and I got an "A" in the class! I feel more confident in my writing because of this class.

He rocks and always gives a great word for "word of the day". He is very helpful and wants you to get the best possible grade in his class. Always there to review papers, he made 8:00 a.m. class fun and interesting.

Nice guy, but can be really creepy at times!

Good teacher nice and can be helpful. Expect to work with the writing center a lot. Makes it easy for you to get a lot of work done in class.

he's a pretty cool guy. he's got a bit of a dry sence of humor. probably a little boring. he will try to help, but to get a good grade, you've got to work on your own stuff. overall i give him a B.

He is a very unassuming little man, but he has a hilariously dry sense of humor that tends to pop out of nowhere every once in a while. Extremely helpful and very easy to work with.

Prof. I. was fabulous. He may have a corny sense of humor, but smile and nod- he means well. He was extremely helpful and gave very good feedback on papers. Very nice man, cares about his students' success in and outside the classroom. I highly recommend!

He definitely knows what he's talking about. However, do not fall asleep in his class because he will get on you for it. Other than that, if you get to know him, the boredom isn't as bad as it seems. He's there if you need help, just ask.

Everyone likes this guy. He's unassuming, smart, thoughtful and offers good suggestions for your papers. I don't think there is a mean bone in him - he's like Mr. Roger's with a sense of reality! I liked him!!!

Challenging class, but pace is doable. He is very helpful with pre-test reviews and writing projects. He's great at getting back to people on email etc. He takes teaching very seriously - as in wanting you to learn. I would take another course from him.

tells you everything you need to do to get a good grade you just have to go out and do it the 4 papers you do can be turned in as many times as nesscery, great prof.

The class is more difficult than some WRT 150 classes but it pays off when it comes to the writing. Really helpful with papers, greedy with attendance, but most of the writing profs are. You'll do well if you revise your papers enough.

Great prof. Wants to help students, very interested in job, knows what he's doing. Dry sense of humor but it makes the class fun. Simply one of the best WRT 150 profs there is, try (hard) to get him.

He was an amazing prof who knew exactly what he was talking about. I hate writing and he made this class easy to understand and get through as long as you worked when he gave you time.

Seems to pick grades randomly. I got a C- on two papers and a B on the other two, and got an A in the course. Just show up to class and be friendly and he'll give you an A.

The class is what it is. no one really wants to be there, but as a professor hes not too bad. Just do your work and be quiet in class and itll be one of the easier classes you'll take.

It's a boring class, so there's not a lot of spice with the teaching. But he is helpful and expects you to get your work done. He's a much better professor if you take the time to actually talk to him.

He is probably the most Awkward guy in the world! Writing 150 is a terrible class, but his methods actually work. He is very helpful with good feedback, but he's hard to talk to. The lecture classes are soo boring, but attendance is manditory so you have to attend. Overall he's okay, and helpful with the portfolio.

He is a very funny guy in an awkward silence kind of way, with an occasional profanity in a weird tone...WRT 150 is not supposed to be real exciting...he lived up to my expectations.

Iadonisi is soo cool. He's corny, but he still makes you laugh and he's very approachable. Whenever you need help with a paper. He will tell you straight up what's wrong with it. The way he runs his class is also better than the way other teachers do it. If you can get him...I would highly recommend him.. He is a great teacher!!!

He was so cool that I always looked foreward to his classes. If the subject wasn't your thing, he tried to help you as much as possible. Def. a teacher to take whether you like to write or not.

very awkward sense of humor... def made the class laugh alot. writing 150 is a hard class because your entire grade is the portfolio you turn in at the end, but he tries his best to help you out and give good advice. i've heard horror stories abouts other profs so i would reccoment him. good guy.

Love this guy. He's definately helarious, and His class is by far my favorite. Take him for sure, you wont regret it.

He is an awesome guy. Sorta socially awkward at times but he can be very funny also. There are 5 two page papers and 3 papers built from those smaller papers and that is it for the class. You get two hours of lab time each week to work on them, so not a lot of outside work. definitely take him

He assigns a lot of stuff out of the writing book but you don't really need to read any of it to do well in the class. He's pretty laid back and tells jokes that are so bad that it's funny.

Great Prof. Take him if you can :-)

A little awkward/creepy but overall a really good professor. You have 5 mircothemes and you turn 3 of them into full papers. You only can miss 2 classes though!

When I first saw the guy I thought I would hate him as a professor, but by the end of the class I was showing up just to hear what he would say! He's funny in an awkward way and it also helps get his teaching points across. Also, he's also very easy to approach about things with your papers.

After reading reviews about him I was kind of worried to take him because he seemed a little odd, but I loved him as a prof. You have to write one more essay than most other WRT 150 classes but that is really nice because you don't have to use 2 of them for your final. He was very clear on all assinments and made quite the jokes in class.Take him

Professor Iadonisi was a great writing professor. He was very nice, a little odd, but helpful. I would recommend him for Writi 150. It won't be your toughest class at all.

Prof Iadonisi is a great prof and always willing to help students. He's excited about the class. However, he is NOT EASY. If you just want to breeze through WRT 150, don't take him. I will say though that I loved having prof Iadonisi. He's funny and a little awkward, but that just makes class more fun. He made me a better writer.

He definitely is not an easy grader, but professor Iadonisi is a great guy and loves to help out. He's pretty nerdy but you gotta love him as a person! Class is overall kinda stretched, and it goes by slowly.

He definitely knows what he is talking about and knows what students need to do to become good writers. He is a very critical grader, though. Do all of the mini assignments he says despite them not being graded, they help a lot.

Very dry guy but funny in an awkward way. Not the most interesting class and rather boring to sit through but I loved the way he assigned things and graded them. He lets you right very independently, only turning in one or two drafts of your papers.

Iadonisi is a very interesting man. He tries to connect and joke with students. He has hobbies that are not unlike my own but he refused to really talk about them with me, wants to maintain a buffer between student and teacher I guess. His class was boring I had it at 8AM. But he is nice.

Iadonisi has a weird but hilarious sense of humor. Attendance is mandatory but I enjoyed going to class. He was very helpful with any question I had. The way he has the class set up makes it very easy to get your portfolio done in a orderly fashion. I highly recommend him for WRT 150!

Take professor Iadonisi! Writing 150 can be a challenging class to get an A in but if you show him that you are trying your hardest, you will get a good grade. I loved him.

Great professor! Gives very good feedback and is willing to help make your essays better. The lecture classes can get boring, but it is worth it. The labs are entertaining because you are working individually. Must go to every class, in the long run that will effect your grade. I would take one of his classes again!

He is an awesome professor. He is willing to joke around with his students during lectures and is more than willing to help with any writing needs during lab. If you show up to class and put in your opinion and the effort needed, you are going to just fine in the class.

Iadonisi is probably the funniest and most awkward prof I've had. Make sure you talk to him and let him read your papers in front of you to see what he thinks is interesting (He will be one of the professors grading you). Class is easy and fun to talk about certain subject matters. Overall it's easy to get a C or B in the class, hard to get an A.

He wasn't the worst professor I have had at Grand Valley, but not one of my favorites. He is very quiet and doesn't talk a whole lot but I didn't mind that. Attendance does matter in his class, there are no second chances with that, however he is very good at responding to emails and can give helpful feed back!

Fantastic prof. Really easy to follow along as well. The lectures get quite boring sometimes as the main focus is writing papers for your portfolio rather than all the nonsense he must get through in his curriculum. He gives fantastic feedback and he doesnt belive in "stupid q's". Another thing, book isn't needed. Good luck!

Had him for WRT150 online and hes the most caring and easy going teacher ever. He gives you super good feedback on all your papers and your grade is only your writing portfolio and attendance.

Prof gave really good feedback, and it was clear he wanted students to grow and succeed. Class was mostly chill and he taught about important concepts to use in our essays.
