Amazing professor. He cracks some jokes that relates to what you're learning. As long as you attend class, take notes/listen to him, do problem sets and attend problem sessions, it's fairly an easy class to pass. Definitely recommend.
He's a great teacher and goes above and beyond to help anyone pass. There is no reason why anyone should fail his class, because he gives you constant opportunities to get help. I had him for 1251 and I'm taking him again for 1252. He talks fast but is modest, open to new ideas, and takes criticsm extremely well. A great intro to chemistry!
Awesome teacher, will go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. Great sense of humor and easy to understand. I am taking him again next semester, and (obviously)I totally reccomend him.
He isn't that good of a teacher, and his web works are extremely difficult and hard to comprehend. He doesn't go over all the equations for the web work, and this is just a month into the class. Anybody else reading this please drop him as soon as possible
I'm in his class now. He started out great but now he's just plain boring and doesn't explain himself very well. He comes across as if he'd rather not be there. He's not a bad teacher, but not the great one I read about on here.
This class is difficult and Dr. Jew has no sympathies for those who do not attend class or keep up with the homework. However, if you do these things you will do fine in the course. Dr. Jew is funny and his lectures are engaging. Great professor.
Very nice, personable, & approachable. Excellent lecturer, and always willing to help a student out. Don't need the textbook if you go to lecture, his lectures are much more comprehensible than reading the textbook. Would definetly suggest doing the problem sets, as they are great practice for the exams and will help you find your weak spots.
Go to class and do the problem sets, and ASK QUESTIONS WHEN CONFUSED, and you will be fine in his class, he is more than willing to help you out but you have to make the effort to understand and ASK FOR THE HELP.
i just hate life when im in this class, once you skip it once its contagious and i learn more from the online hw which in the end is worth as a test grade, so thats good. i had to withdraw chem last semster. quiz and test is show work, chem is the highest failing rate, get ready for it. its no joke
I liked chem before this class. He is rude and treats everyone like they are lower than him, even in a private setting. Goes way fast in class, text is useless. Go to class, problem sessions and SI sessions and you MIGHT get a C. This class is nothing to blow off. Avg class test grades = 50-55
Wish I had read posts prior to taking. My advice...take chem at your regular school or somewhere else.
Second the fact that he is belittling to students...also seems to try to keep them from succeeding rather than help them to succeed - very inaccessible. Like watching someone with ADD.
basically a Jerk! Class could be a lot easier if he wanted students to succeed. He acts like he is too good to answer questions and will not talk to you outside of class if it is not his office hours... Take any other professor for goodness sake.
Like the person below me said, ITS A HARD CLASS, but he dose his best to make it easier, he teaches at a good speed and answers ANY questions u got...he gives points if u go to SI sessions and everything. im makin a low C but he curves at the end, this is no slack class but hes a good teacher, if u wanna learn go to him...
This is college. Do your hw and read from the book and you won't have a problem. Dr jew is very good at explaining things in class & uses lots of real life examples to relate the information. The exams are tough but if you do the work and the problem sets you won't have a problem. The SI sessions also help. Put in effort and you'll get a good grade
this is a hard class, most people will fail it. hes generally a nice guy and really wants you to succeed, so just go talk to him and he'll help you! the grade is curved at the end but dont expect a miracle.
Chemistry is a hard class, but Jew does a good job of explaining the concepts. He can be a real smartass at times, but otherwise he explains things well. Probably the best 1251 teacher of them all.
Dr. Jew is an brilliant teacher. He looks like he's been teaching for about 2 years, but he communicates the concepts extremely well. Go to class and do the problem sets and you'll do fine. He got a little too happy with the online quizzes toward the end, but I highly recommend Dr. Jew. He has awesome hand writing too. he's good for you... shoe.
He knows what he is talking about but he doesn't always explain things properly. He is usually too quick about explanations. He makes the easy problems easier and the hard ones harder. His tests are very hard.
Hes a hottie. :) and a great teacher. very helpful when you talk to him in his office. can be a smart-ass at times, but overall best chem teacher at UNCC. take him!
A very good instructor. He is helpful and knowledge in his field. Incredibly great lecturer. He draws pictures. Neat handwriting. Enjoyed jokes and style of teaching.
Teacher definitely knows his material and is a good lecturer. However, he is extremely disrespectful and rude, especially if you are not one of his favorite students. It's a shame his attitude overshadows his teaching ability.
Challenging class.
Great teacher, hard class. If you don't actually got to SI and Study session or read the book and study for at least a few hours a week (or a day really), you will more then likely fail. Test are hard, concepts can be hard to grasp. Not a class to "f" around in, if you know what I mean.
Dr. Jew is a great teacher. He provides the material in an easy to understand and concise manner, and gives AMPLE opportunity for extra assistance. He is witty, and his quick humor and one-liners make learning chemistry much more bearable. Some have said he is rude, but these are the people who ask questions that have already been answered.
He is a really great professor, he explains the material really well and makes sure the class understands it. Don't ask stupid questions, he really hates it. There was not a single material that I worried I could not do by end of the class becuase his way of teaching was great. I wished he was teaching chem 1252 too; I'm disappointed that he is not
Dr Jew is nice and very personable. STUDY for the tests. The book is up to you whether you want to purchase it or not. If you like to do supplemental reading then go for it. Jew answers questions in class but gets irritated if he has already answered it in lecture. He gives funny examples and tries to make the material interesting. GREAT PROF!!
Dr. Jew is a very good teacher and knows what he is talking about. Sometimes he can be a little intimidating but he is very willing to help. DO THE PROBLEM SETS AND READ AND DO THE BOOK PROBLEMS! He does not take attendence but he does do in-class quizzes and goes over a lot each day so, GO TO CLASS.
Really really good at explaining everything really well. He's extremely organized with what he writes on the board. I was impressed by how well he explains things. You WILL have to study for his tests but in my opinion it's worth his clarity in teaching. I feel like I really understand the material he teaches.
really clear teaching!
Probably the best CHEM teacher. While I got an F in his class it was due to an illness. Still, he is a very kind, and understanding man. He works with you! I can only wish that I have him again along the road. HE IS THE BEST! Clearly explains everything, and answers all and any questions. Go to class, you get points for it. And Go to SI sessions!
Its a hard class but he teaches it very well. He goes threw each problem step by step. He will answer any question. You need to be willing to work and show up for class and youll be fine.
Jew flies through the lessons and whatever he teaches in class makes up about 5% of the exams he makes. Reading the book is your best shot at doing well in his course.
Great teacher, really cool, but don't ask him a dumb question or he'll make you feel stupid.
He is a rock star. If he is late to class he will run down the stairs with his CHEM teacher
Took Dr. Jew's class last semester and made a final grade of D. This is primarily due to my lack of hard work. He flies through a lot of his material which majorly doesn't even show up on the exams. Must attend class and be willing to study out of the book to pass with a good grade.
Excellent professor, extremely organized, knows the material well. Gets irritated if you ask him stupid question but that's understandable. His writing & drawings on the blackboard were clear and concise. You HAVE to study for this course but it isn't difficult once you grasp the general idea. Most of his materials are not on the test though.
You people need to stop giving this man more credit than he deserves! The class is more difficult than it needs to be. He is rude, belittling and condescending (if you think I'm being bitter, wait until you take the class). He plays favorites and treats the rest with contempt. And while he may know the material, he lacks the skills to teach it.
I think Dr. Jew is an extremely effective professor. I would highly recommend him. If you do not study, you will not do well, so do yourself a favor and study! You will learn a lot! Yes, do not ask him stupid questions.
He is overall a great professor, you have to study outside of class to do well(C or above). He is easy to talk to, after class he will stay to explain in more detail. He is also effective at pushing B and C students up a letter. Also he doesn't like questions that pertain to material he just covered while you weren't paying attention(he notices).
Best Chem 1251 professor at uncc.
Dr. Jew is good at making concepts comprehensible. He also goes out of his way to provide students with one on one help outside of class.
I took this class over the summer and it was a jam packed 5 weeks. Over half of our class withdrew and of the half that didn't most failed. I studied ALL the time and got an A, but he did curve most of the test and the final grade. DO not take this class over the summer unless you have time to study and you remember most of Chem 1251.
The failure rate on exams in the class is rediculous. Students are told to ask questions and get extra help but that is limiting. Students do not ask questions because they feel that the are looked down on by Dr. Jew. Also, I have heard of students going to him for help and he doesn't offer any, even though he says to see him if necessary.
Dr. Jew has great clarity and makes concepts comprehensible. He can be witty and funny. He has no sympathy for those who choose to sleep in his class; he appreciates students who give effort. Chemistry is a difficult subject, so studying is required outside of class. Don't expect to pass without studying and then complain about your failing grade.
He's a good teacher. He gives you your final grade on a curve so he will do his best to bump you up a few points if you are close to a B or A. A few tips. 1.DO NOT CRAM! 2.Do good on the online quizzes 3.Do good on your homework
Great professor! He's very funny and really nice. He is willing to help if you need it. I love the structure of his class- all of the mandatory extra work really helps to bump your grade up. Great guy, and I highly recommend him.
I'm not too impressed by the way he teaches. It was a large class I suppose, and he is better at teaching than some professors, but he by far is not the best or most courteous professor I've had.
Dr. Jew is a GREAT professor ! Chemistry is not an easy class, but he does a great job at making it barable. I found that reading before lecture works the best and makes the class quite simple. Just don't slack off and go to his office hours. Also the BOOK IS GOD. Make sure you have it. The class gets easier after the second test, btw.
He has photo memory & is very smart. Class is hard & he goes REALLY fast but he's exceedingly thorough. Take good notes & do the problem sets!He can be very rude, but only if you deserve it;he'll embarrass you over dumb questions.Only study what he teaches, it's not too much;Googling almost ruined me (too much extra info). GO TO TASL! He checks.
Most difficult class that I have ever taken. Dr. Jew is a VERY intelligent man, but has a hard time simplifying things to those who are new to chemistry. You will need to dedicate ALL of your time to this class to pass. He can be very rude and will freely embarrass you, but he has a great sense of humor. Ensure all of your other classes or easy.
He definitely knows his subject well, and talks clearly. However, he will make you look dumb if you ask a question that he feels you should know. I would not recommend him.
Great Teacher. I took the class over the summer, so it was extremely difficult. I would recommend. Chem 1251-2 at UNCC are difficult with whoever you take it with, but Dr Jew teaches well. His tests are very fair and he grades to give you the most points you can get.
He is alright at teaching the material, however he is a bit hard to follow at times and seems to get annoyed by many questions.
He is really nice and funny. He is very good about explaining everything in a way we can understand
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU DON"T HAVE TO. He is the best chemistry teacher there is but the class requires a ridiculous amount of studying not counting the extra tasl sessions that are required. If you're stuck with this because of engineering or med just study hard and really understand the concepts instead of just memorizing them.
For Chem 1, DO THE PRACTICE EXAMS! Do as much problems from the problem sets as you could. Hardest exam: 3. For Chem 2, UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPTS! Read the book before coming to the lecture and don't miss a class. Hardest exam: 4. Don't bother if he's rude you, you want a nice professor or a knowledgable professor? Chem 2 is harder. No extra credit.
Great professor! He gives really clear notes in class. Go to his lectures and pay attention. If you do this, read the textbook, and do the homework problems, you'll be prepared for the tough exams.
DO NOT take this class with Dr Jew. I truly recommend you to take inorg elsewhere if you can otherwise you WILL SUFFER. Dr Jew has a great personality but as a professor he sucks!!! He teaches at a very fast peace, doesn't really care that the students are just undergrads not at his PH D level. His tests are very HARD. Don't take it!!!
I took this class in Sping '13. I have never had any bad grades until I took Dr Jew's inorg.Horrible decision! He doesn't take the time to explain, just goes on and on.He doesn't really care if u get it or not. Tests are tough, he takes off points for misspelling Silicone. Be ready to be challenged and tought at an owefull level.
Worst instructor ever! Don't take it if you want to make an A. Chem was easy before Dr. Jew. Now I have to retake the class to score better because of him which extends my graduation with 1 semester :(
Do not take this class unless you have a strong understanding/background in chemistry. He does not take very much time to explain what he is going over during his lectures and will embarrass you for asking a question he feels he shouldn't have to answer. Clicker quizzes are his way of checking attendance, so going to class is a must.
Dr. Jew is a great Professor. He has a witty sense of humor, which he uses quite often to break up dull/boring moments in class. He takes attendance via clicker questions, so it's mandatory. Take time to actually do the practice problems at the end of each section/chapter and you'll be well prepared for his exams, which aren't hard if you study.
This prof. is a condescending little bung. Don't bother trying to ask a question in class he will explain everything accept the answer to you. He is good at expelling the concepts but not so good at individual student interaction. This course is ridiculously hard do not take unless you have to.
Dr. Jew is easily the best professor is the department. Yes, 1251 is an extremely difficult class, but if you must take it, this is the prof from whom you should. Classes are auper fast paced from all the profs, but most people on here didn't bother to go by his office or email him. He will spend as much time as you need outside of class helping.
Dr. Jew is the best.
I am an adult student who took his 1251 class in the fall of 2013.I hadn't taken a chemistry class in 15 years,so I was rusty on the subject to say the least.Dr.Jew did a very good job of explaining the topics. Clear and concise. He does count off for minor details on the test. But that is LIFE!When you get a real job, little mistakes count.
Yes Chemistry is difficult, however Dr. Jew is not the one to really blame. Dr. Jew is a great professor who is very clear with what he says and takes time to even explain it twice. One of the best professors at UNCC by far. Do not come into this class and think it is like all gen ed courses, because it's not, not easy to get an A, but manageable.
Awesome and hilarious teacher. Called a girl out in class because she sat in the front of the class and texted and knew nothing about chemistry, so I recommend paying attention in class just in case you get called out. Definitely read the book!
Dr. Jew is a terrific professor. His teaching method is great and he's very funny. His tests are a little difficult, but once you find the right way of studying that works for you then you should be fine. I definitely recommend taking his courses!
He's an awesome professor. He uses tons of examples to explain different theories and principles, and all of the ones he uses are cool. I'd recommend him to anyone, even if you hate chemistry, you'll learn something from taking his class!
By far my favorite Chemistry teacher so far at UNCC. Lectures are upbeat and productive, not to mention he's hilarious. Yea, the material is a little difficult, but if you attend every single class you'll get an A.
Study is the key. I made a mistake not studying before tests quizzes and it screwed my grade all over.
Tests are too long for time constraint. Most students did not finish at least one exam, and he will not curve grades, even for his own errors.
His sociology lectures would go on and on, and I didn't understand ten percent of what he was saying. It seeems he mostly talked about his own personal theories and not established knowledge.
Study, hard class, 1252 is harder and orgo is harder than either. good luck if you're in the chem department, say goodbye to social life if you want a decent GPA. Worked hard and made a high B that was not rounded to an A.
He is far too fast in lecture and doesn't really care if you are up to speed or not
Horrible professor. Test are too long and confusing.
Horrible professor! Has no regard for the students even though he might seem like he does. He won't hesitate to belittle you! His tests are extremely long and good luck studying for then bc it's all over the place. It's close to end of the semester and there's less than 20 out of 80-100 people are left. Wait for D.R. He's a great prof!!
I honestly thought Dr. Jew was one of the best professor's I've had, and from speaking with friends who took other professors for CHEM 1251, I lucked out with Dr. Jew. He gives in depth lectures using different methods of teaching to help students who learn in different ways. He does his best to make sure everyone is understanding of the material.
Best professor i have had in 3 years of college, he make the lectures a nice time and gives very in depth problem solutions on the board. This class isn't easy, in the since that you WILL HAVE to put in a lot of time and work to make it though just because it is Chem not because of Jew. He Is there to help and gives you multiple sources of help.
Richard Jew is a very smart man. However, due to the fact that he is apart of the chemistry department at UNCC, his tests are way harder than they should be, and partial credit is rarely given.
Prof. Jew loves chemistry. Willing to help & talk if you ask. His lectures are straightforward but fast, so pay attention to do well & google the clicker q's if you don't know 'em. Chem 1251 covers chapter 1 through 9.510 so it's a TON of material, and the department grades tests HARD. It took a lot more work than Calc 1 for the same grade.
Chem is tough for a lot of students, but Dr. Jew is your best bet at doing well in the class. Tests 3 and 4 are the hardest. DO THE BOOK PROBLEMS HE POSTS ON MOODLE! He posts them for a reason and similar ones will appear on the tests. Go to office hours! He is much more willing to help if he sees you trying.
Chemistry is not something that everyone understands, and rightfully so. Dr. Jew made complex topics easy and understandable. Clicker questions matter, every test counts, the final is just a really long normal test. I did not study very hard at all and made a solid B throughout. Take this class.
This Class was not that easy. Expect smartwork which is online homework. There are also quizzes but they were not that bad. The tests are weighted a lot and make sure to study way before. Go to class everyday and don't procrastinate. He is the best teacher for Chemistry 1251. Just pay attention and do your work regularly.
It's chemistry so it's going to be difficult however out of all the chemistry professors on campus, he is very clear and tries his best to explain everything and provides a "review" period at the beginning of class of everything from the last class. He tends to speed thru topics pretty quick so pay attention and write down EVERYTHING he says!!!
This is Chemistry, so yes, its going to be hard. If you don't try you won't pass. Jew is really good at explaining things. His tests aren't that hard if you know your stuff. People who mess around will be the ones with 30s & 40s. The 2nd half of the semester is definitely a little more difficult but if you get the key terms then it won't be too bad
Out of all the chem professors, I would choose Dr. Jew each time. He does well explaining concepts and how to do dimensional analysis. Yet, he tends to over-explain simple things which gets confusing. He does not have time for you .ever. Tests are hard and practice tests are no help.
He is the best Chem teacher to take, Learned a lot from this class. Clickers points are helpful for your grade so attend class
Jew is probably the best professor to take for Chem 1251. He will sound very condescending when you ask a question in class so I would recommend asking during office hours. This class requires many hours of work and studying outside of class each week no matter who you have. It is important to stay on top of things throughout the semester.
Hardest class I have ever taken. That being said, the toughness of the class has nothing to do with Jew. Yes he is a HUGE ass, but is probably your best option for the class, he knows what he is saying. Clicker points matter a lot, test 3 is the worst, final is easy. STUDY, I lost 13 points on one question once, read the book and get help if needed
I really enjoyed having Dr. Jew as a professor. He is very good at explaining concepts, but you need to be there EVERY SINGLE CLASS. There are clicker questions every class, and they count toward your grade. Although, attending many SI sessions, getting a personal tutor, and productive study groups are all things that you would benefit from.
He's actually a very intelligent man who knows what he's talking about. He once stayed after class with me for 30 minutes to help explain a problem. I honestly contribute my success in this course to his lectures and support! Can sometimes be arrogant, but he still helps you nonetheless. Definitely recommend!
Dr. Jew was the worse chemistry professor I've ever had thus far in my college career. He over explains very simple concepts and never has time to meet with students. He can have a very smart mouth in class when students ask questions. If you need to take this class I would recommend taking it somewhere else over the summer.
Professor Jew was a great teacher who knew what he was talking about and simplified chemistry extremely well. Best teacher in the department and I highly recommend this instructor.
He's a great lecturer, explains things very clearly and has nice handwriting. He does lots of demonstrations and draws lots of pictures to help you understand concepts better if you're a visual learner. Do practice problems and see him outside of class for help. Show up to class, clicker points worth more than you'd think
Tests are tough, watch out for thermochem (Exam 3). MC questions worth 4 points each. Read the book and do problem sets! His lectures are very good. Jew's great at explaining difficult concepts. He can be sound condescending when answering questions though. Fast paced, he uses every minute of the class time.
The tests are easy if you can finish the homework without help. MC questions are worth 4 points each and there are 2 pages of short answer. He draws lots of pictures in class to help visualize concepts. There is homework and a quiz every week. He's also pretty funny and makes a few decent jokes, like when someones phone made X rated noises.
Very funny professor. If you ask questions in class make sure you were listening earlier, several times students would ask questions others asked earlier or on something he just explained. If he thinks you were not listening prepare for sarcasm, to the point where will ask the class to answer your question. Nice if you ask in office hours though.
Jew is most likely the best chem teacher at uncc, however he can be extremely rude and dismissive when asking questions. Isn't this what being a teacher is about??? Helping students that have questions?? Anyone that you take is going to be tough. Jew is best bet. Study study study and pay attention to extra stuff on canvas to help prep for test.
Dr. Jew is highly intelligent and knows the material backward and forward. Can be rude and sarcastic when answering questions. Not as approachable in respect to classroom material after class. Has great recommendations for outside assistance. Do not take during Summer session unless this is your only class. No quizzes or HW during summer.
Go to every lecture and do all the homework, having a chegg account to find problems on the homework you can't do is super helpful. He is probably the best professor (teaching wise) I have and likely will have here at UNCC. I never did credit recovery but If I did, I would have a high A. The class is homework heavy.
I think Dr. Jew is one of the best teachers for General Chem I. He knows the course content inside out. His lectures do put a lot of students to sleep but that is nothing new. He is very helpful if you have questions outside of class. I would email him some questions before exam and he would respond within the hour. Take his class for CHEM
Very funny and a great professor. I'd recommend him because he's gr8 I r8 8/8.
Sometimes he's rude, and he talked too fast, you have to focus totally to catch up with what he meant. He tends to exaggerate, overstate some simple concepts/problems. Lots of homework, don't forget to do all of them, they will help to pull up your grade. Go to the tutor section each week, it's really helpful.
Dr. Jew knows chemistry extremely well and he is super funny as long as you don't take what he says to heart. If you struggle with chemistry or don't immediately understand it, I would take 1252 with another professor. Almost the whole grade is exams (11 questions all free response and takes the full two hours) making it a hard grade to bring up.
Dr. Jew is a really great professor. He thoroughly explains all of the topics and provides several examples. Go to class! The exams are worth 75% of your final grade and one low test score will tank your grade and it can be hard to pull it back up. Do the reading for the daily quizzes. It will also help you to understand the content better.
Do numerous practice problems and study the practice exams he posts before each exam. The questions are very similar to the actual exam questions. If you understand algebra thats what 80% of this class is.
Overall a very smart teacher and makes difficult concepts easily understandable, however, the way exams are graded is ridiculous. This class is not an easy C so I highly recommend you to understand every single homework problems as well as end of chapter problems.
Good at teaching the material, lectures are very informational based off of the textbook. I would have this professor again, but is very rude and talks down to students when is presented with class questions or regrading tests.
Does not care if you pass or not. Very condescending and boring during lectures
Mr. Jew is a good chemistry professor and can explain well during lectures. He can be rude in his answer sometimes to students who ask certain questions or talking to him one on one. The tests weigh heavily on the overall grade.
Makes a very tough class easier. Replies to emails right away and has an answer to anything you ask. Definitely knows his stuff
Professor Jew is awesome. He's funny, kind, and a great teacher. He goes over topics in a detailed, easy to understand way. Take his course... you won't regret it.
Dr. Jew is very nice and helpful! I loved attending his lectures and he's just really adorable and nice.
If you cant take a joke I highly recommend that you do not take this class! Professor Jew is hilarious and constantly made the class laugh. You will have to work for your grade and this class involves a lot of work! However if you study and are consistent with your work then you will pass.
So glad I took him, hes super funny and excellent at laying notes out and drawing diagrams in ways that make chemistry easy to understand. A real gem in the chem department, really knowledgeable too. Homework can be a lot, work on it throughout the week, theres also pollev every class which does count. Its a no brainer, take him for gen chem
Professor Jew is the best chemistry professor I've had so far. He made concepts easy to understand and made it interesting. Before taking chemistry with him, I struggled a lot in chemistry and felt like I was drowning most of the time. I believe I would not have gotten a 98 in the class if I had taken this class with any other professor!
I loved Dr. Jew! I was one of only a few kids who actually attended his class in person and he was very fun and helpful especially to those who did go in person. His class was a lot of work, but thats to be expected with chemistry, and he left us a lot of resources to study with including practice exams. 10/10 would recommend
I had Dr. Jew all online and he made learning chemistry fun and interesting. Always kept us engaged and had a good sense of humor. Explained things very well. He made me learn to love and feel confident in chemistry.
Teaching style isnt the best to understand but he is funny
Dr. Jew is the best professor ever! He is so fun and actually makes sure that students understand a topic before moving forward. He makes his expectations clear and is pretty flexible. He is always available after class for questions and is always willing to clarify topics or review exam questions. Best chemistry professor in ALL of CHEM!!
Chemistry is gonna be hard regardless. Professor Jew makes it a lot easier to understand with his amazing graphics and comparisons. I enjoyed his class a lot!!! The only thing I didn't like was how late the class was and it was three times a week and sometimes after asking questions he would take it as if we didn't do the pre-lectures.
Dr. Jew is an awesome professor. He tried to make class fun and engaging. He had pre-lecture work you had to complete and a quiz which honestly was really helpful so when you attend lecture you already have some familiarity with the topics. My class was online and he shared his recorded lectures so you could re-watch if needed. Would take again!
I finished the class with an A. He's a cool person but I did not like him... He can be very snarky and rude at times. Overall, an okay professor especially for chemistry. I just don't respond to attitudes very well.
