Professor Kincaid is a caring professor that is willing to help his students in any way in order to help them succeed. Doing your best is good enough for him to pass you regardless of your progression in the class. Just try.

He is an amazing professor and great person. He really cares for your grade and helps you out with giving out presentation

I recommend Professor Kincaid to everyone that need to take speech its a smooth and easy course the only way youll fail if you dont show up on presentation days. He also work with you if you miss certain assignment and reply to emails fast. Overall hes a 10/10

Professor is a breath of fresh air. He enjoys teaching and inneracting with students. You will become a better communicator. At first I was very reluctant presenting to the class, but Kincaid starts off with students in groups so you get comfortable speaking in your group. Then later in the semester you get to pick a topic that you are familiar.

This class is not very difficult but it is not a class that you can skil all the time and still receive credit. A large part of the course is participating.

Loved this class and teacher. I took him in Summer. Workload wasn't bad just a lot of copying definitions. Speeches weren't hard and didn't have to be longer than two minutes. Definitely would take this class again!

Prof. Kincaid expects participation in the class everyday and wants you to be there. I took this class in the summer and it was a breeze. Barely any homework, no memorization. He honestly wants everyones communication skills to be improved. Two minute speech daily, great professor, easy-going, and would definitely recommend to anyone taking speech.

Professor Kincaid has a passion for teaching and it shows. He has never shown up to class not prepared. He is there to help and wants his students to pass. If you show up to class, and participate, you will pass will an A. The first day of classes we were greeted with donuts, music, and a fun lesson plan to start off the term.

Professor Kincaid is very passionate and loves what he teaches. He's very simple in the fact that if you do the work then you get the grade. Exams are straight from the textbook. He's just such a good hearted professor. He cares for his students I would definitely take him again.

DO THE WORK! He is very supportive in his students doing well and pushes you to do better as well. Definitely would take again!

I took Richard Kincaid's class at 8:00 am every MWF and he made it enjoyable. He greets every student with a good morning and a smile. He seems like a teacher who cares about his students and their well-being. Group presentations every week and two end-of-year speeches over a topic of your choice make up your grade. I would definitely take it again

Kincaid was a great and personable professor! As long as you participate and show up to class frequently, you shouldn't have a problem with this course at all! I would definitely recommend him to other peers.

I loved this class, understands his students and gives the amble opportunity to get work done. Do the work and show up to class on time easy and fun class. His teaching methods are the best by far, allowing the students to show what they are learning and giving different points of view on topics.

Professor Kincaid makes giving speeches less stressful and easy! Learning about communication is fun when he makes the class engage and talk about their experiences. He is also really understanding if you show up late, as long as you don't make a habit of it. 10/10 :)

This is definitely an Easy A and participation matters. In the beginning of the course you will be placed in a group and present a speech weekly. Also make sure to do the bookwork and keep up with it. Do not wait until last minute to complete this because he will take this up for a grade.

Mr. Kincaid was a wonderful teacher! He is funny, easygoing, and made public speaking less daunting. The class required a decent amount of class participation, but he made the subject of public speaking much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting to take speech class.

Professor Kincaid if easy going as long as everyone is respectful of the speaker. Homework is to read and present for 60 seconds each class. Attending class is important to keep up a good grade. He will keep class until end time even if its not needed. Overall easy A if you try.

Great professor!!! I really liked this class! He keeps everyone on track with the final projects and gives alot of time for the groups to collaborate during class time! Easy A as long as you read the chapters you need to and show up to class! There are only 2 major essays and then the text book you read at the beginning of the semester but its easy

Mr. Kincaid is a very cooperative professor who gives you help in all areas of life as well as make you a better speaker. I always felt nervous speaking but Mr. Kincaid made our class feel at home. He made me a more confident person overall and I highly recommend anybody to take him.

The best professor I have ever taken. The whole class felt like family and he made it easy to get over our fears of speaking in front of large groups. Easy A, not tests, minimal homework. You will learn life long lessons to take with you through life. You will not regret taking him!!

If you need to take this class take him you wont regret it. Its the easiest thing ever and anyone can pass without even trying. As long as you do all the homework which is not even a-lot and show up to class you will pass with an A guaranteed. He's supper sweet and truly loves what he does.

I would HIGHLY recommend this Communication Professor. He was an amazing communicator, prepared, and very clear on directions to be successful in his class. This was supposed to be a lecture class, but with Covid-19 it ended up online (he adapted for it very well). He gives great feedback and really cares about you as a person (rare for college).

This course was supposed to be in person, but due to covid-19 it was pushed to being online. Professor Kincaid made the course change super easy. All assignments were completely clear and extremely easy. Even our final speech was without the hassle of other speech courses. You will need the textbook, but definitely pick Professor Kincaid!!!

Professor Kincaid is a truly great and easy professor. The textbook is needed but do not need to fully be read. You do group presentations all semester over textbook summaries. The final is a 5 minute speech. He makes everything super simple. All around amazing professor.

Took professor Kincaid for speech 1311 and loved him. He was well structured with his assignments. You have three assignments each week (they are super easy) and don't take long to do. You need to show up to class for the weekly chapter speech which are also super easy you only need to talk for about a minute. Just show up and do your work for an A

Fantastic Professor that truly cares about Speech. The class itself is not difficult at all as long as you do your weekly homework which is an assignment per class (Coronavirus made class a little different) and do a short speech presentation every class. Class is actually very interesting and Kincaid is the best professor for the class.

I took professor Kincaid because after I saw he had a 5 on here I knew I had to get him and I'm so glad I did. The work that we did was actual not bad and I really learned a lot from the textbook and videos which I didn't expect to like. He also cracks jokes that are funny and has a good relationship with his students. I would 10/10 recommend :)

I walked in on day one thinking that this class would be a nightmare. He talks about his personal life during lectures and encourages us to do the same when we speak for assignments. It helped me overcome my social anxiety, and the experience is helping with our finals. Oh, did I mention I'm usually bad at English?

Professor Kincaid is a prime example of a great educator! He is very knowledgeable, caring and thorough with his way of educating each student. Our class age levels range from 18-37 and he spoke exponentially to each age level!! You definitely can tell he loves his job and puts his heart into each lesson he teaches!!

Great feedback. Super nice. Answers emails quickly. Entire schedule layed out till the very last day. Policies and grading rubrics easy to access and understand. I took a MWF class and every other class was a 1-2 speech over that days chapter. Easy. Show up to class.. Does allow makeup attendance and chapter quizzes (speeches)through email/youtube.

This professor truly cares about his students and wants them to succeed, not fail. He sends constant reminders when major grades are due, and he reminds when there is class. He is very organized. You leave the class with confidence knowing what you learned.

I knew from the very first day that Kincaid was the right Professor for me. He has a style of teaching that is very basic and simple, easy to understand. And the man has a sense of humor. The textbook chapters are not long and drawn out and the required essays are so easy a caveman could do it. Easy A+!!!

Professor Kincaid is a great professor! Don't hesitate to take his class. I had him online and it was so easy, you just have to do your part in completing the assignments. Assigned work each week due on Sunday and the final exam is a five-minute video of yourself! You won't regret taking his class!

This professor is really nice, and we do the speech outlines from the book and present it in class. In the final, group presentations are so simple, you just have to speak up and get the work so easy.

Easy grader and a very laidback professor. Would take it again and honestly not very many complaints. The only thing I had an issue with was that even after multiple presentations throughout the semester where we had to introduce ourselves each time, he struggled to remember half of the class names...

Honestly the greatest professors I have had. Easy to talk to and wants to get to know you. He understands that life happens but prefers you to be in class. You have to make speeches often, but it's a speech class, so idk what ur expecting lol.

This is the most invigorating fun class at Collin. Professor encourages you to make your speeches interesting. He is very awesome, and he makes learning interesting and fun. He was a great teacher and cared about what he talked about. I took a summer course, so a bit condensed, but all the essays were easy because you could do anything from the chapter that you liked, and he didn't grade harshly either! He encourage questions and was very respectful. I'm an introvert, but he created a open environment! Take him!!
