Great professor, great class. He makes the class interesting and enjoyable. Lots of guest speakers discussing interesting topics. Do the work that is required and you will have no problem passing his class.

Excellent teacher! Very clear lecturer, fair grader, helpful during office hours and when answering questions. An understanding, kind person who not only teaches business well but gives important life lessons! Sometimes, homework assignments may not be clear, but he's more than willing to clarify any questions.

Unlike other recitation teachers, he doesn't make you do weekly articles (at least not within the first month), and gives you the entire semester to work on a simple group presentation. Just do the research, format it properly, and you're good to go.

A very tolerable teacher. This is a very easy class to pass and he is enthusiastic. However he doesn't seem to have a full understanding of the assigned material and his classes are a little dull.

This professor is awesome! As long as you do the work on time (which really isnt that much) you'll get an A. No homeworks, must go to class, but they're fun anyways. Great Professor for Intro to business. I highly recommend him. He knows the material and makes the class entertaining and highly informative. The tests are generally challenging but he tells you what will be on it, so you just have to go over what he says. Great Class, easy A.

I took prof. Laskowski during the summer session and he is so entertaining he made the 3 hrs pass by so quick! As long as you do your work for the business plan components and 5 weekly WSJ articles(aka more than three sentences per question and expecting more than you deserve) you will get an A. He is so sweet and the tests are M/C and not hard! A+

This teacher is awesome. Only fun class I had last semester and i slacked off too. I still got an A+, however. He has very intriguing stories and is also quite entertaining. His lessons are useful and very relative to tests. Studying the book just paragraphs where key words (which he gives you) are can get you a 90 on the final and an A+.

Fun class great teacher. But he has little writing skills because quite a few of his test questions where hard to understand what exactly he is aking. I thought this was going to be an easy A boy was I wrong.

A must-have professor. Makes business related to you. Grades are fair and easy to get an A.

It's not an easy class for international students. Some examples should be understood by people who have American cultural background. No HW in this class. Just have two mid-terms in the whole semester, which means if you do bad in one, you won't get an A. I hate current events. But if you want an A, you have to read Yahoo Finance.

He's a great person, but do not take this class. Don't be fooled by the other commenters here. If you're not careful, this class will drop your gpa like a ton of bricks. Take this class with someone else if you're looking for an easy A because you're not going to get it with this guy. He also doesn't reconsider grades, so what you get is final.

professor knows what he is talking about. lecture are not mandatory but he makes all the lectures interesting. used real world examples and helped clarified everything. only 2 midterms, so everything is based off that. don't screw up on the midterms and you'll be fine.

Not the most prepared professor but is extremely fair. weekly HW, team project, midterm and final. Easy A if you show up to class and listen to the current events he discusses.

Took this for winter session hes very professional and nice. easy A if you just study 3 weeks. Test is easy enough and you should attend every class since its online course. highly recommended

This is a must take class. He is very interesting and has his own personal experience. Rather then using the book he has a spin to it. Pay attention in class and take notes you wil do well. The class consist of one paper, a group presentation, and a essay final of what he had talked about in class. Also if you are a athlete thats a plus.

Best professor at SBU so far! Very easy A to boost up my GPA. Make sure to do all the written and online homework. Final is easy as long as you pay attention in class. I highly recommend him.

Laskowski is great. He has great stories and gives you life lessons. But you MUST attend class. His lectures are ninety percent of what the test are made of and he tells you what to focus on. He gives nine points of extra credit on your final grade Homework is about an hour per week. Simple, fun class. SUCKS AT USING TECHNOLOGY. Love ya Doctor L:)

Professor Laskowski is very helpful and experienced. He cares about his students and gives some great life stories in class. I would reccommend everyone at Stony to take this class. Its an Easy A, and if you are a science or engineer its a great way to blow off steam and learn. He met Nelson Mandelas wife so if you want to hear more take the class!

Dr. Laskowski is the man. He has great stories that will make you attend class. Make sure you show up to class and listen to what he says since it will be on the test. weekly hw which can be done in an hour, one group presentation which is composed of the bi-weekly bpc. laskowski's awesome. be prepared to learn his life story. that's all he'll lecture you about for the first half of the semester. the tests were open book, online lol so that was awesome. you dont even have to go to class for the exams since they're online. you definitely want to take him for bus 115 trust me. he's a pretty easy grader too.

Professor laskowski is the best professor ever! I only took him over the winter break and I already know I'm going to miss him. He's such a funny, laid back, honest and intelligent man. You have to do a lot of homework, trust me- do homework ahead of time, do homework before it's due and you will get an A. Really enjoyed the chat experience too!

Probably one of my favorite business professors so far! Very easy A! Just make sure you do all of the online homeworks (which are super easy) and show up to his lectures. He just tells life stories every single class, shows power points sometimes. Work hard on your group project and he'll give you an A. Loved his class so much, just show up!!

Professor Laskowski was one of the best professors I've ever had. I had him for Business Ethics online over the winter and it was an easy A. Attendance and participation is what makes your grade. Going to the online chat room, contributing to class discussion, and doing the homework are a must. He made it such a memorable and fun class.

Great guy, tells really interesting stories about his life. He didn't really teach much, but it was an intro class anyway. However, a lot of his stories do relate to life and teach a lot of good lessons. Definitely take any class he teaches.

Dr.L is one of the best teachers I ever had. Dr. L is a legend. He mainly tells his life stories such as how he handled his businesses which is great because it made the class not boring. Some say you don't learn much from him because he doesn't use the traditional teaching method, but there is always something to learn, you just have to use your head a little bit more. Dr. L isn't a typical college professor and it's to your benefit. Make an effort to participate in lecture and approach him outside of class. He's a gold mine of valuable information and good life advice. The class is supposed to be about business, but the life lessons are more valuable.

Such a great professor! His class was very interesting in the sense that all opinions were wanted and needed. He made it very clear that you will disagree with his opinion or others for certain topics, but he wants to hear everyone's opinions and will let you speak about it. His personality isn't for everyone, but I personally loved it. Had him for BUS115 and BUS301. His stories are amazing and he helps to teach us about the world around us. He doesn't focus on the material heavily. We have to read it all instead. He's the only professor I've had who could make this work. He's a legend.

I enjoyed his class. His lectures are not just material from the textbook- he tells stories that tie into the topics. He does love his stories though so you do have to do work on your own to learn the material. I was struggling personally when taking his class and he went out of his way to be very supportive.

Is not a class where you learn numbers and get tested on equations, numbers, definitions, etc. Professor teaches good life lessons and how to be successful in the business world by explaining past experiences and current issues (political and other issues) that's impacting the business world.
