i took this online and it is not very time consuming but his grading percentages suck and the problems on the test are nothing like your homework. very hard but you go on your own time. nice professor also, great communication always available

online full term-easy at first. plenty of time for tests, but he makes them tricky! have to turn in h.w. online (scanned) grade percentages SUCK. no extra credit. only take if good in math! good teacher though. got B

His enthusiasm for Trig was contagious. A very likeable teacher. You should be able to pull a good grade if you do your homework and study what he tells you to. Make sure to do pre-tests. They are very helpful.

I took mac1105 5 times with different teachers and didn't pass. 1 time with mr.lee and I passed the class. If you have math anxiety he's an excellent teacher.very helpful in and out of class.He really enjoys teaching.

I took MAC1105 for the first time this summer. Prior to this, I had to take other MATH classes twice before I got a passing grade. First time with Mr.Lee and I passed the class. If you have math anxiety he's an excellent teacher; very helpful.

Mr Lee is one of the coolest teachers I've ever had. Trig isn't the easiest class I've taken but, he it made fun and interesting. I would most definitely recommend him to others for he is extremely helpful and excited about math.

Mr Lee is a great teacher! He totally made Trig understandable, if you do your work. You have to do ALL homework and practice tests to be prepared for the tests. You are allowed to use notes, but don't let that fool you, b/c you still need to study outside of class to get Trig. I got an A; I definitely recommend him!

Mr. Lee is one of, if not the most popular math teacher at FCCJ. But if you’re a student who will be going past Calc 2 then take Kitto, because Lee can make things a little too easy.

Prof. LEE is by far the best math teacher there is at FCCJ, He is always willing to help you out anytime that you need help, I was not really looking forward to stat , but he made it very easy to understan, He rocks!!! He is the best, I did not have a good intermediate teacher so it was kind of hard for me to catch on but he made it impossible to learn. I ddid not want to take another math but I will take stat as long as he is teaching I recommend him to any one that wants to learn

Professor Lee is the BOMB! Calculus can be a little hairy at times, but he makes it interesting and applicable to every day situations. Professor Lee does try to help you with whatever he can. But tests have only 10 questions and they are pretty hard. You would have to attend every class in order to understand. Earned a C.

Professor Lee is the best professor yet. I took him for college Algebra and I am currently taking him for trig and precalc. He is great at teaching, his class is entertaining, and he will spend anytime outside of class to assist students' needs. He has made me love math so much that now I am going to also major in mathematics.

He's like the Mr. Mi Oggi of Trigonometry. This guy is hilarious! He is beyond helpful and his tests really measure your math skill. However, he offers several opportunities to make an A. He caters to both the well-disciplined student who needs to be prepared for physics 1&2, and Calc 1&2, as well as the student who needs that "A."

BEST math teacher!! I had Prof Lee for Trig and precal, one after the other over the summer. I was in the class from 8-12:45. I would mot be able to focus for that long on math if he was not interesting and energetic. The difficulty of the class really depends on if you are good at math. Regardless, you should DO THE HOMEWORK. It will help!

mr. Richard Lee's course seemed difficult at firt but with some perserverance and support from him and the master tutors I passed the course.

WOW! Professor Lee's is such a great online professor! Online STATS with him was very liad back with only 4 test the whole semster with 4 sections of HW. I didn't study hardly at all but did the work and made a B in the class. Very Easy to pass.

I took online STA 2023...I know it was a hard class...but with his help I made it through. The class consisted of 4 homework assignments, 11 discussion boards, and 4 tests. He is a great teacher. Lots of homework. Attendance is mandatory, but if you understand the homework you will do fine. There is a slight language barrier, but I've heard horror stories about other calculus classes. I would recommend him over any other math professor I have ever encountered.

I loved this professor! He is so detailed in his lessons. He definitely likes to take advantage of the FULL class time. There was a little difficulty understanding him at times because of his strong accent, but other than that he was very helpful. He will automatically give you an A if you do well on the final two tests. Lots of homework though.

Professor Lee is a terrific Trig teacher! He was very clear in his explinations, and went over them multiple times. He is patient, and gives plenty of attention to students in need! While he tests are open book, they are VERY DIFFICULT, so be sure to STUDY!

Professor Lee is awesome. He a great professor who is excited about his students staying motivated to learn. Attendence is very important. If you decide to take this class make sure to be present for all of the sessions. If not, points will be deducted, which was no problem for me. I recommend this professor to anyone.

I have taken 6 Math classes at fccj and Professor Graham and Lee are my favorite.Lee always have a postive attiude and wants you to learn he provides every thing you need to succeed. trig is a tuff subject but I think no one can teach it better. I like that anyone who wants to get a good grade can not just the people who are already good at math.

Professor Lee is by far the best math teacher I've ever had. I'm not good in math but still managed to pass MAC1105 with a B. The course is simple and he lets you use your notes on exams and quizes, even the final! Very understanding & has a passion for what he does. If you put out, he will not fail you. Im currently taking him for MAC 1140.

This is by far one of the best math teacher that fscj has to offer. he is enthusiastic about what he does...he always comes to class with a smile on his face, even when he was sick....we need more professors like these at our school....

Prof Lee was a blessing! I have a horrible time with math so I really wanted to take Chandarana (another great teacher) but he wasn't available. I went out on a limb with this guy but he was amazing! Tests are open book and he is really understanding. He is also very funny and keeps class interesting. LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM!

He is GREAT! He will make you laugh! He is very energetic & excited about PreCalc. 3 exams online, multiple choice & final in person-w/all your notes! Only downside is amount of MML practice problems to complete- it's alot so start early & try to knock it out quickly. You'll really love him.

Prof. Lee is GREAT! There is alot of work, esp MML.Prof Lee is fair, and puts everything up front. When he tells you at the beginning of the semester there are 2200 problems, there are 2200!If you will be taking Calculus or Physics, you will be well prepared. I made an A without finishing the MML (which was indeed a nightmare!)

I wouldn't say he rewards cheating but he does allow you to utilize all of your resources.He understands that Trig is not always as easy as 1,2,3 so he allows up to 7 "cheat sheets" per test. As long as you come to class,show effort, & do ALL of the homework you won't have a problem.

Professor Lee is brilliant and entertaining. I am not a fan of math, but need to take lots of it for my major. He is tough, but you LEARN. He is wicked funny,and you will enjoy his class. And he DOES NOT reward cheating.

Best math teacher I've ever had. I hate math, and have never done well in it, but he makes it easy to understand and hes adorable. All tests including quizes and final are open note, you can even use your laptop. He truely loves teaching, very enthusiastic, and very clear with the way he teaches. He gives you the answers and allows you to make up any tests that you've failed. Plus you can use notes on the test and take home the quizzes. If you suck at math this is the teacher for you!

He allows 10 pgs of notes for EA test, 4 take home quizzes, 3-100 ques. HW assignments w/ answers on BB & 80 pts for perfect attenance. If you miss class, you miss valuable instruction & notes you need for tests. Do HW, attend class, prepare notes for tests & you will pass. This level of math isn't for slackers, you MUST put in the work to do well.

This was a great class. Prof Lee might go a little fast on new material sometimes (and his accent doesn't help), but he's very helpful during his office hours. Gives all homework and notes on the first day of class. DO NOT buy the book--you'll never use it.

I'm admittedly not a math genius.Professor Lee is very helpful and he really tries to make the material simple. He gives quite a lot of homework, but that's where the exam questions come from. GET THOSE DOWN PAT! His accent is a bit hard to follow but you'll get used to it.He doesnt curve. I was a couple points from an A but he still gave me a B :)

I hated math and never had a solid foundation in it. Prof. Lee was amazing! He didn't use MML or MathXL which was great because I hated that. He let you use cheat sheets on the test. I just photocopied my HW and those were my cheat sheets.Go to class, do the HW, pay attention and you can achieve an A. Took him for Pre Cal and Trig got A's in both.

Professor Lee is hands down one of the best professors for math below Calculus! He may have an accent but he is extremely helpful and makes sure you understand Math. He really cares and gives you opportunities to succeed in his class!

He's funny and really wants to help you learn but he speaks fast and he has an accent which makes it hard to understand. He says more than he needs to which confuses me but ultimately he's okay. If you struggle with math, plan on living in the math lab because that's the only way to get the grade you'd like.

Professor Lee is awesome. If you do horrible in tests but you do super on the final you can pass with a "C" or better. I recommend him to anyone. If you have any problems he is very open to help you out in anyway he can. He does not require a book but he does say if you want to get one you can. He hands out a packet of homework for that semester.

Professor Lee is a man who knows his math. Pre-Calculus isn't the only math class he teaches and he knows literally all of the material by memory. Even if you fail all of the tests and are actually trying, as long as you pass the final with an A or B AND turn in the homework, he won't fail you. Passed with a C.

Easy. Gives only 100 problems of homework per test. Do the HW and turn it in. Do good on the pretest (easy 30 points). Allows you to make up/replace one test. Allows you to bring in cheat sheets for test too.

Great Professor and great person. He will help you with anything you don't understand if you go to him and ask. Very easy when it comes to how he grades. You will do a lot of hand written homework but personally I enjoyed doing homework on paper. Goes over many examples straight from the homework during lecture.

3 tests and a final, all straight from the homework. you can use 5-10 pieces of paper on exams.. go to class pay attention and you will pass...

Richard Lee was awesome! He was a great professor. You do have homework but it's only 100 problems and it's due when you take the test. He suggests a couple problems for you to do every night and then he goes over them at the beginning of class. He also allows you to use notes on the tests. I would definitely take him again.

Professor Lee was hilarious! I hate math, and he made his class fun. There is a lot of hand written homework, but if you do it as it comes (as opposed to doing it right before the test), it isn't that hard. He has a bit of an accent, but after the first few minutes of the first class, I hardly noticed it. He kept the class upbeat and engaging.

Professor Lee is pretty awesome. If you don't like math, I would advise you to take him. He makes math very fun and engages you to challenge yourself. If you follow his board notes you will do just fine in his class.

Class is anything but easy. The teacher is fair and comical. the instructor gave a complete list of 300 questions which are required for the class. He solves the 300 questions however he omits many of the steps. Which prompts you to study and solve the questions on your own. The quiz and test come from the 300 questions given.

This class was pretty easy. He made everything very easy to comprehend. There was a bit of homework but they were all worth it and the more I did the homework the more I understood the material. The best thing were the formula sheets that he gives. My only problem was that the tests were too short (15 Qs). SO 2 wrong questions down to a B.
