He's EXTREMELY educated on anything health related, after all that's his life. He will do just anything to help his students do well. His tests are based on his notes...and he tells you what the 5 points extra credit will be on every test...o yeah he does curve as well!!! Deff recommend his without a doubt!!!

EXCELLENT PROFESSOR!

Had Dr. M for the dreaded BIO 166 summer session- uses alot of medical terminology and speaks FAST so stop him once in a while to clarify notes. He has essay exams so you must study alot. Overall, he is an outstanding teacher. He LOVES teaching his students and really cares about their lives. Miss ya Dr. M! You inspired many students.

Most brilliant,helfull,insighful,inspiring,overall Amazing proff. EVER! One of the only prof i could sit for a 3 hr lecture and not once look at the clock. Has extra help.No hw except if you have him for lab & its for ur benifit(he dosnt chek)but u have to wrk hard for his class and study alot for his essay based exams.I wud take him again anyday!!

AWSOME PROF. very very straight forward.... i had him for summer class and if i had to re-take him i would in a heart beat he's knowledgeable.... A&P is hard as it is and sometimes confusing but he's great.. trust me you will definitely learn.... but study study study if not you'll be lost!!!

Dr. Marsillo is wonderful. He is very knowlegeable especially when it comes to neurology which is his specialty. He gives 3 exams and 2 are essay based so you have to study hard for them. He hates to give multiple choice exams. He may give a paper which helps your grade. He likes to say alot in class but he tells you what you need to know.

This guy knows his stuff. I think he is the most intelligent person I have ever come in contact with. The class and Lab are both entertaining and interesting. Exams are fair and he tells you everything you need to know. Don't worry, Dr. Marsillo is an EXCELLENT teacher, the material sinks in easily even with a few hours of studying. Take him. Now!

I would describe Dr. Marsillo as a fantastic teacher and mentor. He was one of my clinicians in chiropractic school and I learned a great deal from him. If you have the opportunity to learn from him, take advantage of it. You may only encounter a handful of truly great teachers in your academic career, and Dr. Marsillo is definitely one of them.

Amazing professor! Would definitely recommend him! Anatomy and Phys is a hard class, and you have to do plenty of studying. However, he makes the class fun, exciting and easy. He isn't a hard grader, very helpful on tests usually gives extra points for no reason &does class reviews .. he tells you every question that's on te test.

I took him for AP1 over the summer--holy cow-it was alot of imformation but he is extremely fair and truly loves to teach which makes the world of difference. He started us on the bones early due to time constraint and that was the best thing (his forethought) because you really ended up knowing the content due to his effort.

He honestly is the best professor i have EVER had. The material is hard but he breaks it down for you and gives reviews before every test. so basically if you study the reviews you'll do great. i got over 105 on one of his tests, and yes there is EXTRA CREDIT! if you're taking a&p take dr.marsillo, he is one of the smartest people i've ever met.

Prof Marsillo is the nicest professor you would ever meet. His classes are a bit over whelming because he tends to over explain or teach things that at this level of studies, is way to nuch. By far the BEST professor for such a tough subject. If u come to class everyday and take notes there is no reason you shud recieve less than an A for a grade...he reviews for the exam/final and is extremely helpful. Took AnP 170 and 171 with Dr. Marsillo and prior to going into anp 1 I had no clue what human biology covered. His enthusiasm made me want to learn about the material. At times he may seem off a tangent but everything he says is helpful in class and at life. I wish he taught other biology classes. He knows his stuff.

Professor Marsillo is by far the best professor. He wants everyone to pass and more than that understand the material. Exams are easy because there are no trick questions and he does a thorough review before each exam and also has extra credit on each one. No textbook needed!

Such a great professor, the best for this class in my opinion. Speaks a little fast, just ask him to slow down. Reviews for every test, but sometimes there are things he doesn't mention so use his list as a guide but really go through your power points.oh and he's pretty good looking too. If you want to do well in this class then Prof. Marsillo is the one to take. He gives a thorough review before each exam. You will never need to open your textbook for this class. Just take good notes from the lecture and you will def. pass. He really cares about his students and is very helpful.

If you want to learn something TAKE A CLASS FROM THIS PROFESSOR! I'm not talking about getting a good grade. I'm talking about actually learning something. He will teach you the subject and you will learn it,not just learn it for the test. He engages his students in discussions and is very helpful and receptive to questions. Great professor.

Marsillo is literally an angel sent from heaven. He is BRILLIANT I cannot even fathom how one person can be so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING in the human body. A very odd and quirky man... however, he genuinely cares for his students and pulls for them to succeed, inside and outside the classroom. Best Bio Professor ever!

Dr. Marsillo is hands down the best professor I've had at FSC. He truly cares about his students and uses information we learn in real life examples. Most tests are half multiple choice and half writing which definitely helps if you're not a good test taker. He doesn't take attendance but personal advise is if you skip one class, you'll be lost.

WOW. As a currently Bio Major, I'm glad Marsillo has come across my path as a sttudent. I've never met a professor who cares about his students so much as him. He understands the material is hard and he does his best to make sure we understand it. He does constant drills every class so the information implements into our head.I highly recommend.

He encouraged and cared for all his students and wanted everyone to succeed. Overall I loved this class, and if you're taking anatomy he's the teacher you should choose.

love this professor. he gets to the point on what you need to know for the test and what you don't need to know. prepares you very well for his test and really cares about his students and their future careers.

What an amazing educator! Dr. Marsillo is so knowledgeable and compassionate. A&P is a hard course but he does his best to help you remember the material and he tells you what to know specifically for the tests. I can't recommend him enough!

Professor Marsillo is an EXCELLENT professor. He really knows the material. He is straight forward and explains things very well. During the lectures, he gives out TLQ's or test like questions. This is a big hint, HE also reviews what to expect on the exams. Study and you will do well. Do not procrastinate and cram. This is an info heavy class

FARMINGDALE IS F**CKED UP FOR REMOVING THIS AMAZING PROFESSOR. Doctor Marsillo was a very respected & beloved professor by all of his students. We loved him so much, he made me understand Anatomy for once. Removing him was a horrible choice farmingdale, they should be ashamed. Nothing but respect &love goes to him from your students! Doctor Marsillo is hands down the best professor I've had at Farmingdale. He deeply cares for his students and wants you to do well not only in his class, but in life. He's an incredibly educated and inspiring man and I wish him nothing but the best!

Doctor Marsillo is an exceptional professor. He not only teaches the lecture, but he truly cares for his students. He compares his lecture to clinical knowledge we will need going into a medical field. He grades very fairly. He is passionate about his lectures. It is beyond disgraceful and disrespectful of Farmingdale for letting him go.

This is my second time taking A & P 1 and passing with a high grade. Dr./Prof Marsillo is by far my favorite professor at FSC. He is very thorough and informative while going over his lecture. He makes you eager to learn. Let alone, he gives you advices in the real world and wants you to succeed. He is a heartfelt person and cares for his students.

Professor Marsillo is an engaging teacher who cares about student success. His classes require active participation, but with Unstuck ai and the free textbook, you'll be well-prepared for exams.

I took A&P 3 years ago with Marsillo. I am now close to graduating accelerated nursing school and I always come back to his lecture references. I will never forget this professor, he taught A&P so well, and genuinely cared about our education. He made such a strong impact on me, he was by far the best professor. He paved the way for me in nursing!
