Knows is history well and adds humor to while he teaches, so its not so boring.
He makes learning fun and interesting.
Very good instructor. Makes the class fun and interesting. You will get a good grade as long as you pay attention and attend class. He does not tolerate annoying students. Take him if you can!
Not a very good teacher
Good teacher but can be boring. You have to study to and do some work to get a good grade. Make sure you know everything about each question on the study guide.
And the award for the most boring teacher in the world goes to Mulnax. He was so infactuated with Arnold Swartzanager and his running for califorina, that Class was even more boring. The answers to all his test questions are on the sylabus. nothing of what he tells you in class is on the final.
BORING. But makes material fairly easy to take in. Wording of study guides can be confusing, but tests are pretty basic.
Funny teacher, knows ALOT about everything it seems. Tests are a bit hard, but can be Aced.I would deff sujest him.

Took this class online. Teacher is always interacting with us. Very easy class but test are hard, make sure study guide is done with plenty of detail.
everyone says he is hard but he is not that bad, make sure you answer every on the study guide in full and do the E.C.
Very good teacher. Very knowledgable, tests are hard but are passable if you work for it. Very funny and willing to work with you. A+++

I took this class online and I thought it was really easy. I hate history, but he gives you a study guide and it is all you need to do to pass the tests.

Very easy class, how could you fail?!?!??!?!?!
He only gives 4 tests only + extra credit. So if you are a bad test taker then prob.dont take this class. Gives 50 quest. study guide, if you study it and answer thoroughly then you will do good. Most seem to think that his lectures are very boring (that is all we do in class) but I thought he had a lot of insight from his years of experience. Take
Seems like a nice professor. I never met him in person because I am taking the class online. He gives out a pretty detailed study guide, but his test are a little more vague. Does not ask you to remember spcific dates in history just main ideas. Plus no required paper just an extra credit one.
I struggled in this class. You really must answer the study guide questions (and they are not in order/ they jump around in the chapters) and study study study.. He does not teach... He basically just has a conversation with you, assuming you already know about governmental issues.
Very nice professor. He gives the study questions to all the exams, BUT BE CAREFUL!!!, find aLL the possible answers for each question. His exams covers all the questions that are in the stuy packet, but most are worded differently. You don't have to worry about writing a term paper, he just gives us an extra credit assignment.
This guy is full of interesting stories and comments. Great History teacher, u would look forward to be being in his class. HE is kind and fun. Do the work he assigns and the A is at hand.
He's awful!! You absoutly can not get above a "C" in his class. If you even call that a class!!! You will not understand his tests, because his review's for the test have NOTHING to do with them!! This is not a joke!! Don't say that nobody warned you!!! P.S. I get all "A's" and maybe "B's" in other classes!!! This is an awful class and instructor!!
Tough but fair. Do the work and you'll pass. He gives you the rope, you can hang yourself with it. Yes it's a lot of work but it's American History, there's a lot to cover in 2 semesters. If you get a C, it's your own fault, read the textbook and answer the study questions. With the extra credit he offers, you have no excuse. Get to work slacker!
Hated this class. Study Guides did NOT help at all.
easy B if you study the study guides- but make sure you find the correct answer to the study guides.
I HATE HIM!
Tests are multiple choice but suprisingly hard. I did the study guides thorougly like he says we should do, but still no good when it comes to tests. He is VERY NICE, he dropped the lowest test and tried to help raise our grades as much as he could. There's an extra credit assigment really easy.
STUDY GUIDES DID NOT HELP AT ALL!
Very easy class you have to read the textbook. Do the study guide they realy help with the test.
Honestly, I don't know what else he can do for his students. He gives extra credit, study guides, and his tests are scantron - and he does not focus on names or dates, just knowledge of events. He will even go over your notes if you ask. If you fail, you have only yourself to blame. His lectures can be boring though, and his humor is hit and miss.
His AMH2020 class was very easy as long as you do the 50 question study guide for each test. It outlines every question that will be on the test. He offers a lot of extra credit & it would be hard not to get at least a B in his class.
well...if u dont mind readin...then take this class...n then u dont even need to attend class...jus go thru the study guide..n ull b set...personally i wudnt take him again coz im a visual learner...but readers go right ahead....he gives extra credit...drops 1 test..i ended up with a B without gettin a grade better than C in any tests
Great Teacher, guaranteed A if you DO THE STUDY GUIDES CORRECTLY . Don't Answer the questions with one or two word answers on SG. If you do the reading you will recieve an A. He is one of the best teachers at IRCC.
Very knowledgeable. Very eager to help.
online class is very easy. Easiest A i've ever earn, good teacher.
His ok, his study questions for the test can be tricky, his boring, the test can be difficult, you have to know the study questions #50 for the test. they are not easy to find in the book.
i took him online. hes so easy the test or word for word, exact order as the study sheet. just find the right answers and you got an A
Very easy. Everything is in the book. anser study questions broadly and you will do fine. His jokes in class are WAY corny, but he's a nice enough guy.
Took him on the internet, it was easy enough. If you want to do well you just have to do the study guide and do the offered extra credit. Nothing more to it.
Dr. Mulunax is fine. You get the grade you earn. Read the book, do the study guide, do the extra credit, should get at a good grade. He is crazy about people being late/leaving early, but he has no problem with people skipping class altogether. Wierd. Good Luck!
Figure out heads and tails of his study guides - get a B maybe. Do nothing, fail easily. You need the book. Easy class if you do the study guide. His lectures are worthless for the tests. Some extra credit available - helps tons.
I enjoyed his class...very funny professor...make sure you complete the study guide the way he said to do it and you should be OK
So easy class but boring to hear, the solution: take it online! I had this online nd it was very easy, he provided study guides with exactly what was needed for the test so it made it very easy to get an A, and I hate reading, but the book is actually slightly humorous, considering the subject, so it makes it easier to read. Def. Worth taking onlin
I took the internet course, and I wasn't entirely satisfied. I probably didn't study hard enough, since it was a couple of years back and I was younger, but the material was dry and the questions on the test didn't coincide with the study guide. I got a B in the class, but I'm pretty sure there was a curve.
I took Mulunax for AMH 2010 and 2020. I took him in the classroom each time, but I would say take him online. All you have to do is the study guide, and those are the same questions on the test. Just actually do the study guide and you will be fine. Don't take him in the classroom, he talks about himself alot and only owns 2 shirts. Nice guy.
took him online for both 2010 and 2020. study questions are vague. tests seem tricky. wasn't my favorite.
I took this class on campus. All he does is show powerpoint notes and give you a study guide. Nothing more. Not helpful at all and only allows ONE extra credit opp. Also the class only consists of 4 tests (including the exam) with the lowest test grade dropped. Teacher seems way to lazy to give other work to bring up students average. Not recommended
Took this class online. All there is to this class is reading the book and completing a 45-50 question study guide. There are ONLY 4 tests, (including the exam), the lowest is dropped. One EC opportunity per student worth ONLY 5 pts. Teacher isnt helpful at all in an emergency situation. Would not recommend this class or teacher.
Just say I used to make A and B and my GPA was 3.0;This proffesor ruined my GPA; If you can avoid him do so;Not a good proff
Entertaining in class. All you have to do to do well in this class is to read the book with his study guide in hand.
Very Hard, test are nothing that he teaches. And the study questions he gives you are have nothing to do with the test. He tells you to study one way and test another.
The most boring teacher I have ever had. He says that as long as you do the study guides, you'll get A's on the test, but that's not the case. The questions have multiple correct answers, but you have to choose the best one.
This instructor is a good one. First days, he'll tell you to read the chapters because that's where you'll find the answers to the 50 questions study guide. And the questions are on the exams.Don't rely on his lectures if you want at least to pass because they are just there to reinforce what you already did read in the book. Also do the Extra Credi
Really boring in class. Lectures a lot. Not much fun. Tests were pretty tricky.
Online. Tells us to used the study guide, which I thought was awesome...until I took the test. The muliple choice questions have higher vocabulary words (not pertaining to history) that I am not familar with, which keeps me from finding out what he is really asking. There is always 2 answers, and ou have to chose the best one of the 2.
Good teacher when you get the hang of it. He lectures every class but they're not important for the test. You HAVE to read the textbook and follow the study questions; everything's in order so it's very easy. The wordings on the test may throw you for a loop though, just remember your notes. He gives extra credit, 10 pts.
I took his online class. Easy professor. Just do the study guides and learn them and you get an A. No busy work, and he offers a few different extra credit opportunities. Drops lowest of your 1st two tests!
This man knows his stuff;Very Smart in his education ranking is superb
Online class. Responds quickly to emails. Tests can be tricky, more than 1 possible answer. He does give an extra credit assignment if needed!I would recommend Dr Mulanax.
Professor Mulanax's distance learning course requires its students to learn independently, but he is still accessible, personable, and willing to help his students. His examinations are challenging, but he offers generous help in preparing for the examinations and extra credit if necessary. I would recommend Mulanax to a self-motivated student.
He's a kind and jolly person. Corny jokes. His teaching methods don't work for me though. It's a great class if you can learn just by reading the book.
He is very fair, had him for online class and am taking him again for AMH2020. If you do his study guides and spend the time reading you will bank at least a B on his test. he also give extra credit so an A is totally possible if you just do the work.
I'm taking his online class. I've never had to ask him for anything so..but the class bulletins were helpful for checking answers. Just do the study guide thoroughly and study and you'll do fine. Drops lowest grade. I'd recommend
I took American History I on-line and loved it. Any questions you have the teacher will answer and as long as you read and do the study questions like he suggests there is no reason you shouldn't get an A in this class. He offers extra credit as well.
Took this class on-line and I will be taking AMH2020 as well. Great teacher, responds quickly to emails. Just read everything and answer his study questions thoroughly and you should get an A. Extra credit offered. Seems he really is interested in getting his students to learn and like history.
Took on line. Same format as AMH2010. Thoroughly do the study guide as he advises and definately take advantage of the extra credit he gives and you'll get the A. The extra credit is always to visit a place which is a GREAT idea b/c it makes you go somewhere you may never go on your own and learn a little about history. Great teacher, great class.
AMH 2010 online requires its students to learn independently, but he is still accessible, personable, and willing to help his students. Do extra credit ! Exams are challenging !
Great teacher...very helpful, must read book and answer the text objective questions. Do the extra credit assignments, it pays off.
Do NOT take as an online summer class. He only gives you 4 tests. If you dont get good grades on the test you have NO other assignments to lift your grade. He only gives study guides and the study guide questions do not all match to the test, which you have to go to the campus to take. Did not learn anything.
Nice teacher but wouldn't recommend. I took notes and read the book but always got lower than a c on the tests. He told you to answer anything that pertains to the 50 questions and my answers were a half page long and the tests had what you read but you had to pick the best answer. Well my answers came out wrong.
The tests are exactly the questions on the study guide, however, you have to REALLY REALLY search indepth in the book to get the exact answer he is looking for on the test. It would be more helpful if he went over the study guide with you so you know you're studying the right info. Only 4 tests. 10 points extra credit to course total. Kinda hard
This professor came across nice at first and he responds to his emails quickly. However if you are in an emergency he will not fairly help. Eventually he will show his true colors and not correspond. In class is better and online is impersonal and nothing is learned.
He seems nice, I'm taking him online so obviously NOTHING is learned. He gives you a study guide but when it comes to the tests 3 out of the 5 answers to choose from could be the answer. Haven't gotten higher then a C on a test yet, but he does give extra credit. I wouldn't recommend, at least not online.
The average person should honestly have no problem passing (or an A if you care eve a little). I am taking it online, and all I do is read the text and look for the study guide answers, because the exam is based on the study guide. Try to answer the study guide with as many details as possible and you should be good! extra credit worth 10 points.
Hard. Horrible professor. end of story.
I took the online version of the International Relations class. There was a study guide to go along with the book. Then at test time there was little to no correlation between what was learned to what was asked. It is much better to take this professor in a lecture based class.
Going to class is pointless, you just have to do the study guide, but that doesn't mean you will pass the test. I'd rather not take him for AMH2020, but my options are limited.
Intro to international relations was a terrible online class. You get a study guide for every test but it completly had nothing to do with the test. The questions were similiar but not asking the same thing at all. it was terrible and i would reccommend every person to stay away from it. take his lectures.
Taken online for POS1041 and AMH2010 as well. Typical online class with too many student assigned to one prof. Provides study guide that is vaguely, somewhat related to the test. If you do the extra credit you can get an A. Study guide for exams takes about 4-5 hours to complete. Four exams per semester. No homework except the extra credit essay.
Took for American History and International Relations online. AMH is easy, with the study guide being the test (just fully answer study guide and you're prepared). INR is similar, though you need to read the (smaller and conservative biased) textbook. Overall, a good choice. 4 tests, multiple choice, online at assessment center.
Took him online. And that was a MISTAKE! He's very difficult. His tests aren't that awesome either. If you can, just stay away from him. Take him if it's an absolute emergency; nobody's left. Otherwise, don't make my mistake. Take someone else!
4 tests and that is all, i love this professor. he states when the tests will be and leaves you alone, PERFECT!
I took him online, I wouldnt suggest him. Study guide is very vague, test are pulled from the study guide. 50 questions, in 45 minutes. 4 test. One extra essay credit for 10 pts. I read ALL of the chapters, and even did the study guides. but the test were to wordy/weird.
I took American History online and Proffesor Mulanax was extremely helpful. He provided study guides that so he made passing his class a breeze (as long as you answer the questions on the study guide)
For the most part I learned some good information by reading through the book. You are pretty much on your own. The tests are derived from the work sheets that are given, however there are some questions that try to deceive you.
Took him over summer online. MISTAKE! He was so unprofessional & vague in his emails. The study guides given are very general. You must know EVERYTHING about the topics given. Read every chapter word for word. Tests are multiple choice &difficult. Taken at the assessment centers. I would take someone else if possible. Not easy..
No reason for bad ratings here. He is no nonsense straight to the point in lessons and expectations. Took the class online and got an A. Spend a few hours doing the study guides and you have all the test answers which are then very easy. Even gives a huge E.C. opportunity for visisting a museum or historical society.
Took online over the summer. Lots of reading. History is a hard subject for me. His tests are meant to be tricky. Do the extra credit b/c you'll need it.
This class is hard and not interesting at all. I will say that he does have extra credit and will give us maybe 2 maybe 3 extra credits ONLY if the class percentage is very low and if we really need it. Other than that the test were hard. I suggest if you are taking this professor study your butt off! if you are struggling in the beginning talk!
Took him online & got a B. Pretty easy class to me, just read and understand. There are some trick questions but the tests are not difficult
Took course online, might as well been by mail--there was no content other then 4 times repeating: (1) read 100 pages (2) take test. Mandatory term paper announced 4 days before class ended.
There is no interaction in this class, the teacher is all but useless with a my-way or the highway attitude. Very boring class, tests are right from study guide. Assigns term paper topics during finals week!
Took online, online content was very poor. Lots of reading (~400 pages). 4 tests that have to be taken proctored. Assigned a term paper during finals week.
Online, Summer2. Tests are frustrating with wording, but they go in order of the study guide, which helps a little. READ THE BOOK. A lot of reading. As for as a teacher, he let me move tests dates around and was very flexible because I was going out of town. 4 tests proctored, 1 required bonus pt 500 word paper. 5 pts extra credit for museum visit.
Took this class online. So easy! Read, fill out study guide (which gives the answers to the test). Mr. Mulanax makes every assignment crystal clear, then follows up with email to remind everyone what's due when. He also offers EXTRA credit... How much more helpful can he be???
Clear cut. Four tests. One essay. If you do the study guides, you'll pass the test no problem
Second time I took a class with him and I regret it. A lot of reading, but the problem was every time I tried to communicate he would say, "Read the syllabus" which didn't help.HATED everything. If I take the class again, it will be with a different teacher.
Worst professor I have ever come across in my college career, and I'm 50 credit hours into my Associates. He gives literally 6 grades... That's it! Four exams, a Term Paper, and a small extra credit... All of the study guides are very vague and the tests are asking questions that are not covered. I would never recommend him.
I took this course online as a dual enrollment student. It was very challenging and you must read the book and do the study guides. The study guides need to be answered fully to ensure success on the tests! Dr. Mulanax answered all my emails and was very helpful. He is very straightforward and I think very fair. I would take him again.
Do not take him online. He gives you a 50 question study guide which you must answer "fully and completely." I spent 25 hours on the exam 1 study guide, I knew every answer ,yet I got a 56 on the test. I've taken online classes before and this is by far the worst one. He answers emails five days too late and is not helpful at all. DO NOT TAKE HIM!
Does not help students. Tests focus on little bitty components out of the textbook that tie to the study guide. Do not take
Surprised by other comments! I found him straightforward. If you did the reading and filled out the study guide AS you read, which he highly suggested, it was easy to pass. I took the Express online class and spent 10-12 hours a week on the class and got an A. Met once for office hours to review test and he explained each question that I got wrong.
This class is by far the worst I've ever taken. He does not make the tests very clear because their is no many unneeded words in the answers. I suggest to pick a different class if you can...
I would not take his classes online.
I thought Dr.Muianax was awsome, you have to do alot of reading and corealate the reading to the studuy guides the study guide is almost the test do the study guides and you will pass the class if not your in deep water.
Mr. Mulanax was a great teacher. His lectures were the best. Class turned into story time. I really enjoyed his class as he made history fun to learn.
Pretty straight forward, however, there were some questions on the test that had multiple right answers. Luckily he graded my paper early enough to let me know whether or not to do the extra credit. If you read the material and absorb it, then you will be fine. Got an A
If you're looking for an easy A, take this class. If you actually want to learn anything- look elsewhere. This class consists solely of reading the text and taking exams. There's one "paper" that I wrote in 20 mins and got an A on. Dr. Mulanax seems nice enough but I only spoke to him once during the term. I wish I had taken a different class.
Test answers were very unclear. I had to work harder for this A than any other class I have ever had and I am a 4.0 science major. He offers one small extra credit assignment and it is what made me able to get an A. My semester was supposedly his last in person class, and the online people have a different curriculum. But the tests are the same.
I understand this is college, but this professor words the syllabus and online messages like we are toddlers who will do everything wrong and cause ourselves to fail. The plus is the small workload. 4 tests at the campus, answers taken from questionnaires you fill out while reading. One small essay due, and one extra credit paper on your own ideas.
Takes 2 weeks to respond to course messages, even during a summer class. Study guides do not match material learned nor do they match questions on the tests. Exams are set to not show correct or given answers, so are useless to study from. Crappy class by a crappy instructor.
Dreadful teacher, is short in emailing, not specific, could care less about students or improvement. I asked for help because it was an online class, I wanted to meet with him personally to figure out what I was doing,he completely shut me out. Thank goodness hes retiring.
No class assignments 4 tests total. No other work given for a better chance at a better grade. Disappointed overall with Mr. Mulanax this class.
Tests are written in different language than study guides. He tells you to complete study guides for tests.
