Dr. Olawoyin has a strong accent and I was worried I wouldn't be able to understand him all of the time, but I got used to his accent. He is a really reasonable guy and very knowledgeable. He definitely wants his students to do well and is willing to help you if you ask. He is a fair grader.

Love his accent, I enjoy taken his classes. Want him to teach all my classes but with less Math. Good looking dreads and handsome teacher.

OSHA Standards class. Very understanding professor. Despite that I take this class online, I find it easy to follow and useful. I'm used to the traditional classroom delivery but since I'm out of State, I had to take it online. Thanks Professor for the good feedbacks on assignments and quizzes.

Environmental Standards course. He taught with another good professor. He's amazing. Great lectures, good examples and he's very intelligent and wants the best for all the students.

I'm glad I did well in my Physics class, the Math involved is hard but well explained by Dr. O. Glad its over.

Engineering and Technology for EHS. He explained the ventilation calculation properly and also, I appreciate the System Safety qualitative calculation he introduced to the class.

Very knowledgeable and practical professor. I enjoy his teaching methods and style. We work in groups and all members of my group for this class enjoy his class. Some ridiculously lazy groups in the class always complain. Those groups never pay attention, and rude to the professor. In all, this professor is my best choice in the OSH program.

I enjoyed this class. A few pop up quizzes that enhanced my learning style and he's really good. He understands the concepts and able to adequately relate with almost everyone that I know in the class. I will take his classes again.

Good fire class, as a fire fighter, I thought I knew much about fire, but this class is so important to me and Dr. O was very helpful in supporting my learning. Good teaching.

I took this class as a student not in the OSH Program, (Integrative Studies major) so i was a little nervous at first. but his teaching style was very interactive and enjoyable. It gave me the opportunity to get a good understanding of OSH programs and I learned a lot about the field, very interesting stuff only complaint is that it was early lol

I have worked in the industry as a Safety Professional for many years and I decided to return for my degree. I like this program and I will say that Dr. O is an interesting Professor. He takes time to explain the contents of his classes. He is helpful and I respect him. I'm glad I took the class.

I am in Arts but he taught nanotechnology very well and I thank him for his understanding and assistance to the entire class. He gives instructions for all expectations in the class from day one which is really helpful. Some of our group members were lazy and they always find things to complain about, but I must say, this professor is excellent.

If you have not had this professor, you sure are missing a good reason to want to succeed in life. Very inspirational, motivates all students and goes out of his way to help every student to succeed. Provides clear lectures, excellent instructions and responsive to emails immediately. He always thanks you for your email, I like that. He is hot!

Reading the comment about someone on here calling Dr O lazy is disingenuous. He's the most hard working person I ever met. He inspires, teaches well and of course, he doesn't copy and paste as my group my group member falsely accused the professor. I know this because this student complains about everyone and has been caught on this. Dr. O is gr8.

I'm in Chemistry and took this course to satisfy the general education requirement for formal reasoning. Very helpful professor and knowledgeable, gives all instructions ahead of time. I'm thinking of switching majors to EHS. I like his class. We need more of intelligent, young and inspirational professors like Dr. O in the school system.

Dr. Olawoyin is a great professor. He really does care about the success of his students and is willing to answer any questions, whether it regards the course or even the program in general. He has a relatively thick accent, but recognizes this and speaks slowly so we understand him. The class was easy overall, but it is very time consuming.

The most accessible professor ever. Again, just like many other students statistics or math is not my strong suit but Dr. O made it easy for all in the OSH/EHS 141 course. I thank him and I will be continuing taking classes in the program and actually switch my major from Chemistry to EHS next semester. I'm super excited.

Hot professor: umm. Double points to him for being exceptionally smart, communicates information well and works with the students always and still dresses well. :) I have just graduated and I will be always appreciative of his contribution to my knowledge base and education.

He challenges you and I initially did not like it because all the classes I have taken in HS are pretty easy, however, he communicates well, ready to spend extra time to explain the topics and gives very well structured feedbacks. I switched my major to environmental health because I'm very interested in doing well for myself with good classes.

Very good teacher, he helped out a lot with understanding the statistics and using calculus to solving most of the distribution problems. I appreciate his efforts and I wish I was in his program so I can take more classes with him. I might switch to ISE.

Never thought the engineering risk analysis would be a bit challenging because Im pretty familiar with hardware and software risk techniques from my job. Professor O was strict with making sure the materials are properly covered and provided helpful lectures, materials and opportunities. I had a great time in the biomechanics class, nice project and technical details. Always available to help.

Engineering Risk Analysis course was very good and I enjoyed the class. I had difficulty working with some of the group members because they act like they are kids. However it worked out and Professor O is very smart and knowledgeable about almost everything. He has motivated me for a PhD at Oakland. Have you ever heard him speak? Awesomeness ��

I learned about interesting concepts in this class especially Markov calculations and Queueing theory. My company is designing a solution, Ive led my team & contributed significantly from these knowledge I gained from the class. My statistics skills arent up there so I worked extra hard to make it but Professor was very helpful. Great teacher.

Hes okay, not fully understand the subject which wasnt really his major. I took statistical methods in Engineering with him. The best about him is that he gives second chances and wants you to get good grade. Also he likes class voting and usually goes with whatever the majority of class wants.

Professor Olawoyin made all necessary homework, lecture videos and other material easily accessible. Tests were homework problems with different numbers so you could do well. My only criticism is that sometimes the lecture videos did not explain well how to do some of the homework problems, so some problems you may need to research yourself.

took him for 10-week summer class. no lectures just the book, book useless but you can learn everything online. tests and final exam were easy, would recommend for summer class but i dont know about how he is during fall or winter semester. overall, this class was nice.

The course was about stochastic optimization using Markov Chains, we also studied Queueing theories and some Machine Learning techniques. All examples provided are relevant to my engineering applications on the job and the professor is very knowledgeable, well respected and very helpful to me and others in the class. Dr O was patient and supportive of my learning needs and I realized he was doing the same for others. Dr. O is a great Professor, he understands and can deliver the subject properly, I'm happy to have taken the Engineering Statistics class with him last year, he's patient, supportive, and attentive to learners' needs because I suddenly developed an interest in statistical analysis and machine learning and I've been doing fantastic, Oakland is nice!

Had this class asynchronous. Homework was a lot, but it was just busy work. Labs were understandable and TAs were pretty helpful when I got stuck. I have no opinion on the actual professor since its asynch, but he seemed like a nice guy. Final was just like the review. Overall a good class
