i think he is a good teacher he is hilarious , i dont think that the maps he gives us is hard . but his exams r kind of tricky. but if u r her to study, then u will do just fine. i got an A in his class.just study hard for the exam

Great class, tests were from the book and hard. He is a fun teacher that most students like.

His classes are pretty easy, He gives reviews and tells you exactly what's going to be on the tests. He is very knowledgable in current affairs and you could learn alot from him if you can put up with him being unprepared for class most of the time.

AMAZING. This guy is REAL, he's hilarious I read here that he's unprepared, but he was ALWAYS prepared for us. He teaches REALLY well makes everything relate to today. You will learn so much about TODAY'S world from him. Really cool guy, and I usually HATE history. He prepares you for each test too.

This was my second class with him. Definitely has become more prepared for class. Gives a good review before the tests. As long as you study, come to class, and hand in your maps, you should do fine. He can be funny and keeps the class somewhat entertained.

I had him for Summer Session 1 and he's the funniest teacher I ever come across to! He always show up unprepared but he has always stories to tell and he made the class fun and interesting. The tests are usually hard, but if you read the book, you will be fine!

Easy A if you read the book, If you don't read and answer the review questions and study them easy C if not better. He gives you a review before the exam + he curves for each exam. He is funny. take geo with him and you won't regret it. He is cool and allows you to handle maps whenever you have them. COOL!!!!

omg, prof. peirano is the most interesting teacher ive come across in a long time. FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY... and so helpful. I have him for SU1 and had to go away for a week but he let me take the class and is helping me pass anyway. You'll learn some really cool stuff and have a great time too. TAKE HIM, u wont regret it =0)

He is a great professor. He is very intelligent and insightful. You must do the reading, but he has a great personality and you find yourself interested in topics that would have bored you to tears in the past.

Although he comes across as being bitter, he is actually the biggest teddy bear. He truly cares about his students and he keeps the whole class interested in history. He's funny, smart, and lovable: once you uncover his soft side.

Hard tests and goes on tangents A LOT. It is also hard sometimes to stay on focus. Still in his class now and I hope I do well. You basically get NO grades at all, so whatever work/tests you do. Make sure you do well because it’s hard to pull your grade up if you do badly.

His notes can be confusing, but he tells you exactly what you need to know for tests. If you participate, you should have no problems with him, Also, make sure you read the book! Only way your gonna pass the tests. I gotta A in this class, but the tests are challenging. Good professor overall, makes history very interesting

He really has a great knowledge for history. He has a great personality, too. He can be very carcastic at times, but he really knows how to make you laugh. He appears intimidating, and yes, he can be at times. Overall, he is easy if you just do the work! I know hardly anthing in History and I got a B! I would take him again.

Prof P was one of my favorite professors. He's a really funny guy that cracks a lot of jokes. He's semi serious but he def makes the material interesting. If you want to do well, read the book and you will be his prized possession because you can answer his questions. Pay attention to his maps and notes he puts on the board because they're tested!

i love this man!!! he is hands down the smartest man to ever teach at bergen. he teaches the kind of history the books don't/won't teach. even though he's sarcastic (which is totally funny), one can see how passionate he is about the subject matter. did i mention that i love this man?

He is prob the greatest professor i have ever had in my college life. Ive come from a better college yet there is none that matches him. He is funny, smart, inteligent, well informed, and has different views on many subjects in history. he provides you with a different view on events and people in history, and it is the most interesting class ever.

Be careful that you wind up sitting in class laughing and then get a bad grade. Read the book. Too many people think that Bergen is a joke and you need to take it seriously. Good teacher. Recommended. In the future, you will get super opinionated hard jerks as history teachers in most 4 year schools. I wish more professors were like him instead.

Best teacher bergen has!!! this guy reminded me of christopher walken, funny and captivating, but also looked/spoke like him. You can tell he really loves what he does. Explains things very well. I wish i could take him again! i actually walked away knowing more about geography, not just memorizing stuff for tests.

BCC's Best Professor, Hilarious and highly adept in the field of geography and foreign policy, definitely get your money's worth out of this class and if you didnt care about geography before his class you will after, trust me. not taking his class would be missing out on what bergen has to offer

Professor Peirano--funny guy. Tells great stories and speaks openly about his beliefs--and really wants you to do the same. Difficult subject. Chapter tests are multiple choice; map tests are blank maps with, basically, a word bank. Ace the map tests, you'll want that comfort. Lots of studying but worth it, and his opinions are worth listening to.

kind of arrogant at first but later youll get used to his sense of humor. Comes late to like almost every class. He likes talking about politics so he crams reviews for the tests. TESTS ARE HARD!
