Very nice person, very helpful. Attempts to make funny jokes which aren't funny, and he knows it too. Its good to lighten the mood in the class room. Know your movie trivia, he makes references to movies. Example, Boy in The Bubble with John Travolta.

Took this class 5 years ago & it still has an impact. He has a teaching style that makes it obvious he enjoys what he is doing. He is also very easy on the eyes!!

Pekala is the best professor ever. Even in a lecture class of over 70 people, if you go up to ask him a question he will help you out and give you special attention. He handed out review sheets before each test and was extrememly clear - i loved him!

He is the type of professor that really cares about the students learning experience. He also is a great teacher overall. He positively impacted my college education.

Pekala is an excellent teacher. Attendence cards are passed out weekly, so go to class. He curves test grades. It's not an easy class, but he makes it fun. If your not doing well, much sure you go and talk to him. He'll help you out!! Great guy! A++

he is a very good teacher. lots of notes. You will get an A if you study the notes a lot and do some work for the class. and if you go to the class you get extra points and he makes it fun. he is one of the best professors at esu.

I wouldn't call him gorgeous like everyone else does, but he's awesome! He's funny and interesting; he makes you *want* to pay attention. His tests can be challenging at times, but he gives decent curves and you get 10 free points just for going to class. Take him, he's so great.

This. Man. Is. God. He's incredible and an amazing teacher. he's fun and HILARIOUS. He helps students and he cuts you a BREAK when youre having a rough time with your grades. he will push you up a letter grade. amazing... i want to play "BONES IN SPACE" with him later!

had him 2 semester's in a row and i just had to make him my advisor. He is so helpful and wants you to do good. HE wants to help in your college experience. BEST professor at ESU. this guy is awesome. Any anatomy class you take you will have to study. He makes sure you understand everything. Show up to class, he hands out notecards to fill out that is bonus on your tests. take him if you have to take anatomy. Not to mention he's the cutest professor on campus!

Pekala is amazing. I have him for A&P II, and as an advisor. He really cares about his students, and will work with them to make sure they understand. His lectures are easy to follow along and he is not boring. He doesn't use powerpoint, I reccomend attending class. Once in awhile he gives bonus points for showing up. HIS CLASSES ARE WOTH TAKING!

He's great, funny, really tries to answer all questions and make you understand the material. summer session is condensed but you learn alot and he makes you a mini book. Works with you not against you. He's good even cuts you a break time to time. I'm taking him again... wonderful teacher

He is one of the best teachers I've ever had. I found the course easy, but you need to put the time in. He's incredibly kind & helpful, and will take the time to answer questions and to work with you in and out of class. He also provides real-world examples, which makes the class more interesting.

He is honestly one of the nicest teachers at this school. He's a pretty funny guy but likes to get to the point when teaching. The tests are okay if you put the time in to study and he'll give a curve every so often.If you take his three hour just remember the words "miller time" and he'll let you out kinda early.

I loved him! His tests are all multiple choice but pretty straight forward and he doesnt try to trick you for the most part. He will help you if you need if and if he knows youre trying and you care, he wont fail you. I hope to have him again in the future!

My personal favorite! Im a nursing major and this course is a requiremwnt and so far im passing it in flying colors. His review sheets are your test and he even tells you up to what number the material goes too. Multiple choice and straight forward. Very funny and loves what he does. Notes are short and to the point. LOVE HIM! DEF TAKE HIS COURSE!!

Dr. Pekala is a dedicated, frank and down-to-earth professor. He brings the diagrams to life and explains things on your level, adding interesting stories from his own personal experiences as an RN. Loves to involve people in his discussions and make it feel more like a conversation than a lecture. GREAT!

Dr. Pekala was and still is one of my favorite teachers at ESU hands down. He kept the subject interesting and comprehensible. He is very down to Earth and also funny. Pretty much all of details on his tests are straight from hi s notes, so it makes things so much easier. He's just a great guy.

Dr. Pekala is one of the best professors at ESU. If you come to class and takes notes you will do well. He is really funny and easy to talk to.

Dr. Pekala is funny and keeps the class interesting. If you come to class and take good notes you will be fine. You should also go see the SI instructor before exams for the practice test. The practice tests are almost identical to the actual exam.

Dr. Pekala is a wonderful professor. His lectures are clear and he doesn't give information you don't need to know. He will give you a study guide before each test (including labs) that will tell you exactly what you will need to know for the exams. AP2 is not an easy class but if you show up, put in the work, and pay attention you will do well.

Awesome professor! I took him for anatomy 2 and loved him compared to my anatomy 1 professor! The class requires a lot of time and effort but it's so worth it!
