Dr. Perrone is a great guy. Show up to class and be ready to talk. If you are intelligent and easy going it will be fine.

Best professor at Beacon! He really cares about his students not only academically, but he cares for their well-being too! He's also really funny and makes class so much fun! He's always willing to help his students and if they can't come to office hours you can text or call him and he will help you :) He does assign homework it's not very hard.

Dr. Perrone is an awesome professor! He loves teaching and it shows in how he teaches his classes and interacts with his students. Dr. Perrone was literally my favorite professor at Beacon ever! He's so understanding and I felt like he really cared about me as a person and not just as a student. I wish I had Dr. Perrone for all of my classes! Outside of school, he's a lead singer and bass player in the Rock n Roll band Raging Woody. It's really cool having a "celebrity" professor at school. He's very chill and easygoing so you have nothing to worry about with his classes :)

Dr. Perrone is the best! He understands and respects his students and never humiliates his students like some professors do at this college. He's also super accessible outside of class except for on the weekends, which is understandable since he has his band and a family, but he will get back to as soon as possible.

Dr. Perrone understands learning differences but he doesn't baby us. Instead he works with us to make sure that we understand what's going on so that we can do well on the assignments and in his classes. In other words, he doesn't treat us like were dumb or stupid; he treats his students like they're smart individuals. He gives everyone confidence!

By far the best professor in Human Services/Psychology and at Beacon! Dr. Perrone understands his students unlike a lot of the professors at this college. He loves teaching and it shows! He doesn't just teach from the textbook or powerpoint; he teaches by discussion and it makes the classes way more fun and interesting. I'm happy he's the chair!

I had Dr. Perrone for cooking class and choir back in 2011. Yes those two classes existed back then, but since I graduated in 2014 I have no clue if Dr. Perrone teaches those classes anymore. Kitchen safety and sanitation was a big deal for him though lol. He was a really awesome professor and I had so much fun in those two classes I had with him!

Dr. Perrone is a very inspirational and caring individual! He even gives an inspirational speech to incoming freshmen at convocation every year! Best professor ever cuz he really cares about everyone and wants all his students to be successful in his classes and after graduation. He never lets us see him angry, upset, or sad even if he's going through a hard time like he was last semester. Amazing Professor. Perrone is very passionate about his field and you can tell by the way he teaches. He makes the coursework easy to understand and complete. Capstone with Dr. Perrone is a breeze! Since this a capstone class, attendance matters a lot more in this class and if you miss the first day you will get dropped from the class. Even missing one class in Capstone can drop your grade more than other classes with Perrone cuz he treats this like a Master's Degree Program class.

Human Services Leadership and Management! Perrone has really inspired me to be a leader and to become a manager at some point in my career! Perrone would be an amazing motivational speaker cuz he's so motivational and inspiring. Best HMS/PSY professor ever!!! He's so encouraging and understanding too. He's helped me a lot during his office hours

I loved taking Methods of Social Research with Perrone! In this class, we do a research project, but don't worry, he has us do it in class together so you can ask him for help or if you have any questions. You have nothing to worry about with this class and you are in great hands. He rewards the whole class with a reward party for attendance too!

I remember when I took this class Dr. Perrone rewarded my whole class for perfect attendance with Chick fil A! That was awesome cuz he got to get to know us better and we got to get to know him better cuz we had the reward party that day instead of actual class. He loves doing things to reward and motivate us! He's great at doing that lol :)

Capstone is not as scary as people make it out to be, especially since Perrone is the HS Capstone professor I promise you! Yes, there are assignments and papers that you have to do and complete but Dr. Perrone is still so kind and helpful even though this is a Capstone class, and he's more than happy to help out if needed. He let us have a whole week of to work on assignments and we weren't required to come to the classroom because he wasn't on campus for a whole week. Dr. Perrone is the most amazing professor ever who truly cares about his students. He always watches out for us and wants all of us to be really successful

We learn about and do Grant Proposals in this class. Don't worry, it's really fun and you can be creative. We also do it in class and he gives us a lot of help :) it's nice cuz we don't do it all at once either. He breaks it up for us, so we do about one section of the Grant Proposal per class period. It's actually a really fun project!

Dr. Perrone has a very soothing presence about him. He also has a soothing voice and it helps me when I'm feeling really stressed out or upset. He just has that presence on me that really helps me out and helps make me feel better about both myself and life. Dr. Perrone does that just by walking into the room and talking

I hope to become half the educator that Dr. Perrone is because he's really that amazing! He gives an inspirational speech at Convocation every year and brings that same inspiration and energy into the classes that he teaches. He's so funny and makes learning fun. Not only is Perrone the best professor I've ever had at Beacon, but she's also the best teacher I've ever had in my entire life. Social Policy isn't my favorite class cuz it's a little dry, but Dr. Perrone is making up for it because he's an awesome professor and is making this class really fun. He really knows how to bring the material alive! He's only teaching this class this semester cuz the prof who usually does is on the study abroad trip this semester.

Dr. Perrone doesn't usually teach Intro to Human Services every semester because another professor usually does, but this is a really easy class cuz it's an intro to the major. Great insight because he's the Human Services Department Chair so I really like taking this class with him! He's really funny, caring, understanding, and empathetic too

Finals in Dr. Perrone's classes aren't stressful at all. All you have to do for his finals (they're about 3 parts; 3 questions each) is answer the questions within the required word count or higher, and he lets us type the question into google to help us. Perrone also wants the URL copied and pasted of where you found your answer so no stress there

Dr. Perrone is a really easygoing professor. He never gets into a bad mood, or he never lets it show if he is anyway. He's so caring and is so nice even if you're not a Human Services or Psychology major and you're taking one of his classes. He takes his time to get to know all of his students cuz he's genuinely interested in getting to know us

Dr. Perrone put me at ease on the first day that I had him. I feel really comfortable around him and can trust him. He's really good at helping me with my confidence and the ability to learn and pick up what he's teaching us pretty easily. He's not afraid to laugh and have a good time in class either! Awesome professor! I had to get wisdom teeth surgery and I had to miss class. I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't take of participation points! Super easy professor to work with and really easy to open up to. I feel really talking to and opening up to him. Call me weird, but I actually really loved Capstone. It really wasn't that bad. I was scared to take Capstone, but once I found out that Dr. Perrone taught this class I wasn't scared anymore. He goes through the syllabus pretty quickly on the first day, and he gives us a pretty easy assignment on motivation on the first day, but easy to do in class

Super inspirational professor right here! Learning with him never seems like work because he always makes it so much fun! He had a family emergency last semester, but he was not always gone, he always tried to be IN class. No tests except the final and the best part is the final isn't on honorlock or proctored at all and he lets you use notes and research for the final in all of his classes. Best professor ever!
