HE IS A GOOGD PROFESSOR. HIS TEST ARE FAIR AND HE GETS HIS QUESTIONS FROM THE WORK BOOK THAT HE ALSO WROTE. STUDY THE WORK BOOK AND YOU WILL KNOW THE 50% OF THE TEST. ALSO GIVE YOU EXTRA CRIDIT TO BOOST YOU GRADE. TAKE ATTENDANCE EVERYDAY. ALSO FUNNY.

Perrotto's SS-550 (Personality) is pretty interesting so far. He is very clear and knows his stuff so be prepared to write a lot of notes. His tests are fair. He also gives extra exam points for good attendance and 30 for an extra credit report.

This professor is one of the best in QCC. I'm just upset that i didn't take him for intro to Psycology. He explains the material very well. His tests are also very fair and easy if you read the book and go to ALL the classes.

Excellent teacher... very thorough.. igraduated from queensborough 2 years ago and he's my favorite teacher EVER!!! Interesting... Fun... Three tests, 50 multiple choice... very easy... right out of the book(which he wrote)... very recomended!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Teacher. Sharp and can be funny. He'll pick your brain apart yet you'll be astonished on how much he knows and the course of studies he've done. Course -show up and TAKE notes. Test -right from the notes and maybe a bit of studying. Right man for the job, no questions asked!

I took him 2 years ago for intro and abnormal psych. He is an excellent teacher and he will make you laugh like crazy. He talks about his cases and they are very funny. My favorite is the GIANT MAN.

Students please don't take his class. He is a good teacher. However, his test are hard, and tricky. he does not follows the book.

perrotto was awesome. his class was great and very interesting. he tells you stories about his past expeiences and old patients and stuff. its hillarious. he gives no homework, 2 extra credit reports, and his tests are not hard. if you study your notes and the text you will do great. also i reccomend to get his psych workbook, it helped a lot!

awesome professor tests are easy and are the same year after year so get some1 that you knowthat took him b4 the tests will be the same!!!

Very good teacher. He really knows what he is talking about, which makes his class very interesting. He is a fair grader. Advice for students that is planning on taking him is to read the book as often as you can and you'll ace his test!

I took this course couple years ago and I got easy A grade. If you study and do paper you will get easy A. He is not boring at all.

He's an excellent professor. To do well in the class you absolutely must read the textbook and take excellent notes! If you're gonna be the one who misses class every other week, don't expect anything above a C! The class was very interesting. The professor is NEVER absent or late and he does answer every question a student has.

Although he only talks and scribbles notes, his tests are tricky and directly FROM the textbook, that he doesnt advise you to read. But on the flip side, he is hysterical and his stories are real!

I bombed my first test just b/c it was my fault i didnt study but the last two test, i studied the notes directly from class and read the book and i passed with a b. woulve done better if i tried harder. Fair grader.

I honestly don't believe I deserved the grade he gave me. I did okay on the exams and did great on the extra credit but my grade didn't compliment that. His stories are hilarious and taking notes are mandatory. He should stress the fact of reading the text book frequently. He's okay but not recommended.

He Does tell A LOT of stories but they DO pertain to the lessons. Took during summer session pretty easy. Over all grade is based on avrg of 3 m/c exams & 1(optional)extra credit assignment with a maximum score of 30 added to exam total. MUST TAKE NOTES and some text book reading is required to answer a few questions on exams.Definitely recommended

Had him for Abnormal Psyche. You HAVE to study for his class or you WILL fail! 3 multiple choice exams is all. He gives an extra credit assignment which can lift your accumulated grade by 25 points! SWEET! His stories are the funniest! I LOVED this class! He is one of the BEST psyche professors teaching there...in my opinion! I learned a LOT!

He gives you 2 optional papers to write each are worth 15 points, its just a summary on a psych article. He is funny and gives a lot of examples, which is really helpful. A excellent professor, looks grumpy but he's pretty chill. Notes are a must and he gives you two extra credits to boost your grade.

His lecture is very interesting with thousands of examples from his own therapy! 5 tests including final and 2 extra credit papers.. they r not mandatory though.. take him! he's good.

I loved him!!!! He made everything interesting which made studying much easier. I took his class the first semester I attended qcc. I didn't have the best studying habits then but just the info that he provided in class helped! Take him such an interesting man

Very good professor, helpful and gives examples from his own practice which gives you a sense of the field in psych. Exams are straight from the notes, if you're alive and breathing during the lectures you should do really well within the class.

I took his Psychology 101 class. He's extremely funny and has a sarcastic sense of humor. His teaching style makes it easy for you to understand the coursework. You need the textbook if you want to pass! He gives extra credit reports that give you up to 15 points on 2 of your tests. (There are 4 exams by the way.)

He is really a good professor to take psychology course with, he is very clear when it comes to his lectures. When it comes to exams, they always come from the notes. Sometimes he'll stop in the middle of a lecture and tell amusing stories that create a better understand of the subject on hand.

Just study for the four exams and hand in the 2 extra credit report. It's an easy A +.

To give a completely accurate assessment, he can come off arrogant at times but he's an excellent professor, very clear, very funny but NOT an easy A. I am generally an A+ student and had to work for it but I still think he's fair, although his tests can be a bit tricky so study thoroughly. 3 tests averaged plus a 30pt extra credit assignment.

Great professor, everything he talks about in class is on the exam. Three exams plus an extra credit paper which can add up to 30 points on your exams. Makes class interesting.

Psychology is a fun topic and will always be interesting but there will be a lot of notes to remember when it comes to his exams.His teachings is okay and will tell some funny stories about his work.Four multiple choice exams and he allows extra credit which is two essays that counts 15 point each. This professor is very knowledgeable and uses alot of examples to clarify what he is saying. Easy A if you take good notes since all his exams come straight from the slides and the examples he gives. If your a psychology major this is definately the professor for you, ive taken him for abnormal psych and now personality. Easily the best psych prof.

Great Professor! It's a lot of information to take in, but it was doable. The stories he tells are hilarious!! Seriously. Exams comes from notes, which he posts online. So study them. And you should do well.

Kind of an arrogant guy but generally liked by his students. Multiple choice tests only. Tells a lot of funny stories. Reading your textbook is 100% essential. Tests are easy enough if you read, but beware of some tricky questions with similar choices. Take this guy. No homework, doesnt expect much, except to read the material.

The book he suggested to you on his syllabus is not essential. He gives two extra credit assignment that are basically summaries. His lectures are long and he can be historical sometimes. If you want to pass his class ,study and pay attention to his lectures carefully. You get an exam after a four week period so, that's enough time to be studying.

Overall good professor. There are 3 (50 question) multiple choice tests and a final. Tests are pretty hard, but he gives a lot of chances for extra credit.

Dr. Perrotto is a great professor. His lectures are fun & interesting. He cracks jokes here & there. Most of them are pretty funny. Just study with the powerpoints he provides and you'll pass. Thanks to him, I really love psychology! I recommend him & would take another psych course and have him as my prof. Very understanding man.

I think he's the best professor ever! To those saying his lectures are long or whatever they're not , he keeps everyone interested and teaches the material very well so you can retain it . I loved this professor so much!! I actually took him a while ago during the spring 15 semester but I still remember his classes clearly just because he was such a good prof. He knows how to bring the material to life and capture the students'attention. He was also very passionate and wise in what he taught. Miss him and wish I could take him again!

He gives lots of personal stories. Skip class and you wont pass because of the tests. He does truly teach you however the tests are somewhat difficult. There is little to no homework so your grade is from the 3-4 tests you have. He's helpful, a nice guy.

He is a really good professor. Lectures are interesting if you put your mind into the topics he discuss. He gives you a chance to ask questions, elaborates what you can not understand and takes time to hand out a 5 question quiz every morning for extra credit. He isn't strict,except for attendance and exams. Everything on the exams are within notes

I really enjoyed this professor. Class is not cumulative and there were 4 tests the last one was the final but it was weighted just the same as the first three and was the exact same amount of questions with some extra credit questions too. Nice guy, funny too and willing to work with you. Lectures were very interesting and I enjoyed it. Take him.

I'm a psychology major and he is one of my favorite professors! He is very inspiring and gives lots of examples from his real life experiences from being a psychologist.

He is a very funny guy .I really loved him but the material is hard to remember but he does give a lot of extra credit to his students .If you work hard and study hard I'm sure you can pass but it's not easy if you don't put in the work

Took him for abnormal psychology in the summer and he has been the best psych professor I had by far. He is funny, knows his stuff and is extremely comprehensive because he used to have his own practice and has stories for everything. The stories sometimes go off tangent but it was how I was able to remember alot of the curriculum.

Professor Perrotte made psych 101 such a breeze. He gives an extra credit quiz every class from the previous class material. We had no homework and our grades were based off our tests. If you listen to him in class, participate, study his powerpoints you will be fine. Textbook is helpful but not necessary. He's a cool guy!!!
