If you want to get all the taxes down packed. This is the prof to take your tax course with. He will give you all the details and give you complicated examples to clarify all the tax components that was involved. Because he is a professional, he also incorporates the small business cases for us to analyse. Best instructor I had at Seneca.

Richard knows a lot about accounting in the industry. You can learn a lot beyond the textbook. I enjoy his teaching very much. Quick and fair marker. It's a pity he won't go on teaching ACC220. Take his class if you have the choice.

He's the best teacher in acc. explain the staff crystal clear. Take him, you will understand everything, even beyond the textbook. If he taught more class, I would take whatever it is, but he only teaches ACC120.

Mixed opinion. He likes to challenge students so that they can learn a lot about accounting. Gives out ALOT of homework, doesn't mark it though. DO the assignments he gives out, they relate to the midterm and part of the final exam. He knows his stuff.

He is the nicest, hottest, funniest prof I've ever known!! He knows everything, and would like to teach u all things he knows! I love all his jokes and his "quick math"lol~And those tax stuff u learn from him will be extremely helpful in the future cuz his teaching is sooo clear and logical. He is never a hard marker but a fair one. Take his class!

He is an outstanding teacher. I went into his class without any accounting knowledge whatsoever, but hard work payed off. READ before class. HOMEWORK is a must.(practise) then you will be able to get an A like me.

There are two types of classes, which students like to attend or stay away. Most students like his class, except some students whom professor like to ignore. Take his class. He teaches really hard.

Awesome Prof - Best Prof Ever! He will teach in a high level, so that you will feel every test is very easy. I never study ACC before, but I get A.I learn many useful things from his class, and they are usful for ACC220. As long as you listen careful in his class and do his homework, trust me! You are very easy to get an A! You must choose him!

Prof Ponesse is intelligent, knowledgeable and kind. His teaching style makes hard material easy to understand. I really enjoyed his lecture. The Best Teacher EVER!!! Very helpful, Specially, if you are an international student, you must take his class. He know international students very well. And his speaking is very clear for international students!!

I found taxation to be a very hard course. Fortunately, Richard is very knowledgeable and has first-hand experience and uses examples to make concepts more understandable. I would not recommend taking this course if you plan on missing any classes. His tests are harder, but you learn more and feel a sense of accomplishment.

Amazing professor, really gives you an understanding of the course as a whole and will explain things over and over again until you get them. Very patient. Hard marker and tester, but if you attend class and do some of the homework, you should walk away with 4.0
