Dr. Rogers is the teacher to take for Developmental Psy or Gen Psy. He is funny enough to keep you sleepers awake, and you can learn even if psy is not your thing. Take the class ---not the telecourse! The telecourse seems easy when you read the syllabus, but is not- as tests are horribly difficult.

He's a bit egomaniacal, to say the least, but he's a great guy who really knows how to keep the attention of a class and make his points well-understood. Class content wasn't what I had expected but it was interesting. More of a "how people/companies try to manipulate you" class. Good for business majors, I bet.

I had this class 8AM in the summer. He's always upbeat and cheerful, but not annoying. He lets the class decide how grades will be figured and tells you how much will be taken off for late assignments and things. He is very fair about this, but if something is late, don't expect him to bend the rules for you! He treats everyone the same.

Awesome professor for this class (now known as Animal Behavior and Training). If you like animals or want to learn about training, it's easy, fun, and hands on. It can teach you not only how to train animals, but your parents, friends, lovers, and even yourself! Definitely a fun instructor.

The best teacher at DBC for sure. He's hilarious! My jaw hurts from laughing after one of his classes. I learned so much about social psychology and how to apply it to the real world. Reading is minimum and optional. If you pay attention you'll do well on the tests. He posts his lecture notes online but you do have to attend. I wouldn't want 2 miss

You have lots of test and work to do if you want to get a good grade. He will help you, but you have to work nothing is handed to you. I took it online in the summer. He is open to arugments of right or wrong answers, just have to prove it is right.

This is not an online class where you can take tests by looking up answers in textbook. Tests are usually 25 questions in 30 min. You have to know it! Releases course all at once. Easy to get it done and helpful.

You never need your book in class because he has the notes on slides which you can even print out from the computer. You just need it for the small homework thats due once a week. He is very helpful, organized, obviously very knowledgeable in his field, and nice to students. I am definitely going to take all his classes. :)

i like dr.rodgers. dr.rogders is funny and makes class intresting. his tests are worded funny and often times dont make sence. his tests are not desireable, so watch out. dr. rodgers is highly recomended.

Ok, Dr Rogers is the best professor on campus, end of discussion! You need to show up for class (it counts a lot for final grade), but that's no problem since he keeps the environment fun and you actually learn the material. What a nice guy! i took this class online and let me tell you it is kind hard but able to pass. you get unlimited chances to take all the quizes and make a 100 but the test is timed and hard! make sure you read the chapters. but really such a great teacher really helped me with my grade. would love to take in in person!

I you fail his class it's because you made no effort. I do care about my GPA and got a B in General and an A in Developmental. He gives you the power points to study from and is attentive to anything you need help with. I had taken him by myself the first class and with my BFF the second . Took the eight-week abbreviated online Psych class. Two - three chapters per week, three online quizes each chapter (textbook use okay), one 30 minute test each chapter. Professor excellent in helping keeping everyone on task. Recommend this course if you're okay with reading - and can retain what you read.

Dr. Rogers is a very funny guy, really wants his classes to succeed, and will try and be as helpful as he can. Show up to classes, do your chapter reviews, and study for the tests and you should have no problems.

He's a very cool and fun teacher! The class is not difficult and he gives you extra credit opportunities. Attendance is part of your grade so choose a good time to take it but trust me he makes it enjoyable. Don't be afraid to ask any questions he'll answer all of them. As far as the textbook, I got an A without it.

If you have to take any psychology class, this is BY FAR THE BEST PROFESSOR!! His classes, any of them, are a blast (Ive taken 3) I really had fun taking this class. Even if your not interested in psychology, take this class anyways!!

Rogers is the best professor at Daytona. He is happy to be teaching & makes sure that everyone is having fun. This is the second class with him I have taken & they are wonderful. A little bit hard but if you pay attention & take notes you will be fine. He also posts all his notes online.

Great instructor. He keeps you laughing. It's almost as if he's one of those funny host on a game show or something. Although he'll keep you with a smile on your face in the class....his test aren't that easy.

This is the first class in my life that i was able to actually learn and focus on what my teacher is talking about. The first chapter was boring but after his first test it only went up hill from there. Hes hilarious and knows what hes talking about. He links what hes lecturing to things you could possibly relate to get a better understanding.

Professor Rogers is AMAZING!!! He is so understanding and so helpful. He genuinely wants you to learn the material and have fun while doing it. He is great professor and isn't a harsh grader. I recommend him 100%!

This class was a breeze! A lot of quizzes and tests, but they are all very easy. He lets you make up assignments, and is pretty laid back. Always great with responding to my emails, and very nice and helpful in his replies. He really makes it easy for his students to learn and pass. Overall one of the best professors I've had so far.

Real funny guy that loves cracking jokes throughout the class as much as he can, even on the tests! The weekly chapter summaries are going to kill you. If you just show up and pay attention during the lectures you are going to pass.

R.R was very fast to respond to emails and his class was straight to the point just follow the syllabus can work at your own pace and finish class as fast as you want online. I def recommend him. He has a great sense of humor and i heard his class on campus is the BOMB!

Is always there if you have questions (M-TR) not so much on weekends, which nothing is due so its not nessicary for him to respond anyway. Would take again

I had him for General Psychology and then the semester after I thought he was an awesome teacher so I took him again for Developmental Psychology. Gives homework but isn't very tough on grading it. Very clear with the lectures and is obviously extremely knowledgable in his field of study. Overall a really great teacher! Would recommend!!!!

Mr. Rogers is by far the best professor I EVER HAD!!! He's friendly and understanding, and he's SOOOO HILARIOUS which makes his lectures entertaining. Honestly, this is the only class I get excited about going to; he makes learning enjoyable. He gives out the right amount of test, you do have to write chapter summaries(EASY), and attendance is big.

Dr. Rogers is amazing. He inspired me in so many different ways and ultimately inspired me to change my major. He is very intelligent but down to earth. If you take his advice on how to study for tests, you'll pass. I haven't received one B yet on one of his test. Attendance is mandatory and can result as a big portion of your grade.

Great class and professor. VERY funny and makes all of his lectures very interesting. It is nearly impossible not to pay attention in his class because he finds a way to make even watching paint dry fun and exciting. Each unit is a lot of content so you have to study. Do all chapter summaries and study and you will pass very easily.

Rogers is great, very easy class but I wouldn't take him if you are not willing to attend almost every class. Attendance is a grade and very hard to pass without showing up. Overall he is very interesting and easy. Test are not super hard but you have to study for them.

Im sure he didnt have to provide as much information as he does, he provides study material, prequizz questions (clicker question), psych online activity, study guide and more. If you need help ask him. Took this course online as half semester, I homeschool 3 kids and I still passed working through the night. U can too. Be ready to read! No fear

Professor Rogers is Great! He is easy to work with, very caring and concerned. You have to participate. This class was informative, lots of testing and quizzes. I took him as one of my requirements and it was one of the best decisions I made this year. He is super funny and he can entertain the whole class if people listen. The only thing he asks for the class to do is study, write the chapter summaries, attendances, and tests. The most important is to study, but overall, I enjoy having him as my teacher.

Great online experience for an accelerated psychology class. You MUST READ THE CHAPTERS! The quizzes are untimed, with multiple attempts. The tests are 25-30 questions with 30 minutes to complete. As long as you read you'll do really well! Don't wait until the last min to do assignments! Professor Rogers will help you!

Good teacher, emails you regularly. TEXTBOOK is a must, you have to read every chapter, take quizzes that are unlimited and you have to get a 100 on the pretest to open each chapter test, so make sure you have time for this class.

Dr. Rogers has a quick wit and he made Intro to Psych a lot of fun. His syllabus is very organized and he was readily available by phone and e-mail. I took his seven week course and it was very intense with lots of assignments due each week. Overall, I would enroll in his classes again.

I took this class over the summer, so it was condensed. Expect to read the entire textbook, write a few essays, and take a good amount of quizzes. RR was very present, sending emails weekly to keep students on track. Multiple attempts were allowed on quizzes to get the best grade. I'd take him again!

Amazing teacher, makes me laugh my head off the entire class and really keeps U interested. You will have to work for your grade though especially studying for the tests. Know all the vocabulary terms and read the notes he assigns you carefully. besides that, show up to class, do your very short chapter summarizes once per week and pay attention.

Very funny and engaging

He is an extremely funny professor and I would take his class again in a heartbeat. The class was fun and his lectures are very interesting and changed my mind on many view points.

Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable (not boring at all.) I took him for the short terms during spring so most assignments were online which included quizzes, practice tests, and tests. Everything is in the textbook. As long as you do good on the assignments and study you will pass with an A. I didn't study like i should have but I still did good.

By far, one of the best professors on campus! I took him twice - both hybrid classes. He incorporates a sense of humor into his lectures and keeps the class engaged. If you show up to class and pay attention, there's no reason not to do well. He's available outside of class if necessary. Very organized and knowledgeable.
