He is extremely laid back and is hard to take notes b/c he is so cool about everything. No homework and come to class whenever. Just go to the reviews before the test. Not learning much but easy A. Goes right out of book and some related to aviation.

This guy definitely rules. The reviews make the tests a breeze, and class is always fun and entertaining. One of the few classes I don't hate. If you get less than a B with Snow, you're a moron. Dr. Snow...accept no substitutes.

Awesome teacher. Summer school 8 am classes suck but he made it fun. Come in every morning and played music, U2, Santana, etc. AWESOME, AWESOME....take him if you get a chance.

ive had snow for all of my weather classes so far and i always like his class. hes actually interested in his students and cares about them. tests are kinda hard, but he reviews so well that an A is easy to get.

I did all my WX classes with him and GIS. He is by far the best teacher, mentor, listener, friend. He will always help you out if you need it. Don't leave Riddle without taking him for a class. You'll know what I mean after. Thanks Dr. Snow for everything! I'll keep in touch from Cincinnati.

Climatology. Very good course to take for WX minor. Usually has music going as he teaches to help students get in the zone. Bases much of the lecture off powerpoint, a LOT of independent study and assignments via the course workbook. Fun class!

This is my third class with Rich and I'm not even a weather major or minor! He's the best teacher at riddle by far, and also one of the smartest, which many people don't realize. Swing by the Ocean Deck and you'll probably find him enjoying a happy hour special....

This guy know how to teach. He knows his stuff and his classroom is an easy and fun enviroment to learn. The best professer I have ever had (even though he gave me a B in aircraft icing). If you go to class every day and study you will get the grade u deserve.

GIS Advance....one of the best and most fun i've ever had in a class. It is Dr. Snow and he is really easy and fun to get along with. Hell he has a stamp that he uses to grade papers that says "100% SNOW". GPA booster class

Dr Snow is a cool guy. The class comes at you as being really boring, but not with Dr Snow. Take him if given the chance. Also attend class, youll never know when you may get extra points on an exam for showing up to class.

I highly recommend Dr. Snow...he actually found a way to teach a class something in a fun way...I really understood everything about weather and there was no point when I was bored. I especially loved the part that he let us out early, because once the class material is finished, there is really no need to stay any longer. I'd pay to hear him talk!

Awesome dude with a *#&$'n great sense of humor to brighten up a class that would otherwise be boring. His explanations of things are somewhat unclear and elementary in their delivery making you feel like a 4th grade kid. Class subject matter is a breeze and intuitive so you would do just fine anyway. Easy tests, straight from PPT. NO FINAL!!

THE BEST. Classes are usually 30-45 minutes and half of it is basically goofing around. I have yet to get below a 100 on any of his tests. There are only 4 tests, and NO FINAL. I love this class and I'm actually learning while having fun. Movies almost every friday. Technically you can only miss 5 classes, but i wouldn't want to miss any.

He. is. AWESOME. Period. Take him, and you will pass. Super chill and loves the environment.

Best professor I've had in my degree work. Richard Snow is not only hilarious (especially his laugh and his throat clearing) but he's super simple, knows exactly what you're there for (just a degree satisfying class) and works for you. I had 1 homework sheet, and 0 readings. There were 3 tests, and each class before the test is review. Movie Firday

honestly, one of the best classes so far. Its impossible to leave his classroom with a frown on your face. stupid funny guy and is overall super laid back. He understands why you are here. His tests are basically word-by-word off the power point. if you spend 20mins the night before looking over the power point (online) you will pass tests no prob.

Take this man. For any WX class offered, TAKE HIM. He is an amazing and fun professor. He shines a light on classes that other professors make a snooze fest. My favorite ERAU professor. He is always having a good time and loves to engage everyone. You will not be mistaken by taking his class.

Professor Snow is THE funniest, and one of my favorite profs! His lectures are hilarious. However, it is kind of hard to retain information during the lectures because it's hard to take him seriously. Overall his class was amazing and I wish I could take it again!

He is by far my favorite meteorology Professor. I will graduate having taken three classes with him, and they are classes I look forward to going to. Lectures are short and sweet, and he is not a hard grader. Show up and pass, and don't forget to smile every once in a while. :)

He created an environment where if you had questions you weren't afraid to ask them. He would give out extra credit sometimes, which helped if you didn't do well on a test. Best college professor I will ever have! Extremely easy A even for those who have trouble with weather. If you show up you automatically receive a letter grade increase in your overall grade.

Probably the most laid back professor I've ever had. He makes learning easy. You learn stuff without even realize you are learning it! Tests are every 4 chapters, do the workbook problems he assigns and read through the stuff you highlight in the book during lectures and you will pass no problem!

I took Dr. Snow back in Fall 2016 for WX201, and I'm glad I took him! He explained the lectures very well (he helped write a textbook), he gave out EC points for attendance, and his Tests were fair. He wants all of his students to succeed, and just like everyone says, he's also really funny! Take him for WX201 without any form of hesitance please!

WX201 comes off as a boring required course, but Dr. Snow made it awesome. Hilarious lectures, easy tests straight from the powerpoints, extra credit, and automatic 100 for 20% of the grade for just showing up. Great guy all around. Take him.

Prof Snow is awesome. one of the few classes I've ever actually wanted to go to. The class is easy, but you MUST spend at least 2 hours reviewing for his exam study guides in order to make an A. A's on his exams, which can be mildly challenging, require effort.

The most relaxed professor ever! He gets distracted easily so the best thing to do well on the tests is to review the slides and the workbook. Speaking of the workbook, he wrote it and its mandatory to buy.
