Bick was the man stop hating and start appriciating

Prof. Truet is in my opinon one of the top 3 professors at RVCC. His classes are always exciting and enriching. In one semester we had 4 guest speakers, 2 trips outside the classroom, and interesting projects which were nothing like the typical courses.

awesome teacher....he's funny and friendly....his course work is light but very deep...everyone should take his class....it deff is helping me think differently

This was a fun class, and Bick is an awesome professor. If you are interested in communications, you have to take one of his classes, he is one of the greatest professors I have ever had.

One of the best teachers i have had in years... he kept me intristed in his classes, and i have tried to take any communications class with him because he is down to earth, and very fair.

Bick is the best teacher I've had so far at RV and I've been here for over 2 yrs. He has a passion for what he teaches and wants each student to do well. He is an excellent speaker and always makes eye contact with each student so it's never boring. I would not waste my time typing for any other tacher on here. Bick is the greatest!

Great down to earth Professor, responds same day to e-mails. A lot of homework in reading. Classes had the whole class involved in the discussion. Challenges to theorys are welcomed for discussion. Don't miss the last class.

Bick Truet is by the far one of the best professors I have ever had. He really cares about his students, he's funny, his classes are never boring (esp the last one!) and he makes communication fun. Definately try for him as a professor if you're looking for an easy but interesting class

Bick is possibly the best professor I've ever had. I took a few of his classes at RVCC before moving on to university, and he is better than any prof I've had here. He is amazing, and probably the reason I'm now a comm major. He is hilarious, a great story teller, and genuinely cares about his students. Bick rocks my socks.

Prof. Truet is a very sincere man and that is what makes his classes so GREAT! He really wants to help you in any way he can and the Bag Shares are awesome! There is alot of reading but the texts are really not that bad, interesting to read. His exams are easy, If you keep up with the reading and exams, easy A!!!! GOOD GUY ALL AROUND!

Professor truets class is the best class i have ever taken. i looked forward to going everyweek, and he is probably the reason i chose to become a communication major. he really cares about his students and wants to see you do well. i recomend you to take his class. over all, GREAT GUY.

Prof. Treut is one of the best teachers. His Interpersonal Communication class has no midterm or final...just easy quizzes once a week on the readings. He's a real easy grader and a great guy! Real easy to talk to and responds immediately to emails.

What a great guy! He is funny and just awesome! There's a lot of reading to do and a lot of writing assignments, but I promise, all of his assignments are so fun to write. You learn a lot about the media, and some things that you learn may be shocking! Overall, great professor with a great sense of humor. Take his class, you won't be disappointed!

Bick is the man. Interpersonal Communications is probably the easiest class you can take at RV. There is no midterm or final, and little homework. It's basically group therapy. You will learn a lot in this class, but in a completely unconventional way. Expect to be amazed with the things you will learn about yourself and others in this class!

Mr.T is AEWSOME.. just do what you have to and everything else will flow..He is one of my favorite teachers at Raritan..

simply put, bick is the best teacher raritan valley has to offer. he teaches very interesting things that pertain to life. the work is very easy and there are no written tests, just essays. take this teacher if you want a good grade

Never in a million years did I think I would be sad school ended, but I cried like a baby on the last day of this class knowing class was over and I wouldn't get to see Bick or my classmates every week. I got an A in this class and would take this professor (hell, even this class!) again in heartbeat!

This is the one class this semester I will actually miss attending. Bic is truly fantastic - he cares about his students and their success. Class was always engaging and relevant. Probably the only class this semester I feel that I will immediately apply what I learned to my life. My suggestion - Take Any Class You Can With This Professor!!

Believe the hype- Bick is an awesome teacher, and all around awesome guy. He treats his students as his peers. This is a fun class, yet you will learn a great deal. I'm really glad I took this class. It's not hard, but there's lots of reading, and if you don't keep up with the journal, it will bite you on the ass at the end.

Richard treut is one of THE BEST PROFESSORS ive had by far. He makes you want to come to class because he makes it enjoyable and relates all topics to real life . i have him again for mass comm and i cant wait . if you didnt do good first semester or its your first time in a communication class treut is your guy.

He's so great! Honestly take any and all possible classes with him! very easy going, tests are easy. He loves what he does and that makes you want to be in the class. Hes hilarious and extremely knowledgeable. Had him for Mass Comm and am so glad I took it with him. Great professor. Don't take if you don't like hearing stories

Bick is great, definitely one of the best professors I've ever had. He's absolutely hilarious and a great speaker, he really tells it like it is. I learned lots. The quizzes for Intro to Mass Comm. are all pretty easy and taken online, and he's lenient if you miss a few and will open them up again for you to take them. Highly recommended to anyone.

Absolutely enjoyed Intro. to Mass Communications w/Treut. Every class lecture was interesting. The fact that he is passionate about teaching and media itself, made it even more interesting. His quizzes and papers are a lot of work, but the topics are interesting and relatable, so writing them was fun. I learned so much! Thank you Prof. Treut!

I am Dyslexic and I have struggled with professors all my academic curer until I started taking Professor Bick's class, He is very understanding and fair. In his class you will not just learn about communications but about life. Bick is the best professor and RVCC hands down. Take any of his classes you will not regret it.

I was terrified of Public Speaking. But Professor Treut made me feel comfortable. He's a good guy, and he isn't judgmental. He makes you feel comfortable to speak in front of the class. I'm thankful I took his class. This class helped me get over my fear. Amazing communications professor.

TAKE HIM for any communication class. Had him for Mass Comm. Interpersonal & Intro to Comm. Theory. Resourceful. Understanding in and outside the classroom. Not like most professors - he gets you have a life outside of class. His life philosophy is amazing. Always a happy guy and makes you laugh during class. Never felt bored or wanting to leave.

Bick is THE BEST professor I've ever had. His philosophy is great and interesting. Very fair grader. A few papers including a midterm and final paper or presentation. No in-class tests. Gives quizzes based on the chapters in the book which are taken online and timed. 10 mins, ten questions. Pretty easy to get an A, as long as you do your work.

Bic was the best professor I have had in all my years of schooling. He is down to earth and helped make the class fun and interesting. BEST professor i have EVER had in 4 years at Bentley University and a few summer classes at Raritan Valley. Hands Down TAKE THIS CLASS!

Bick is an amazing professor. I took his summer class and in class all we did was present our life stories. Outside of class was significant book work but it's not a lot if you manage your time. He gave me good college advice for when I transfer and he's really a genuine professor who loves what he does.

This will be my third course taking professor Treut. He is one of the nicest and most easy going professors. As long as you submit the homework at some point your guaranteed an A. Take him.

Bick Treut is the man. I don't have enough words in my vocabulary to describe how awesome he is. Not only is he an expert in his field, but he is down to earth genuine guy who is easy to talk to and will make you feel comfortable in a classroom setting. Interesting material and hilarious jokesstories. Seriously worth it for COMM classes.

Professor Treut makes the subject interesting and gives good feedback on the work that you do. The assignments given are pretty clear-cut and make it easier to learn the material.

Great teacher. Took him for mass communication online. Responds to emails, makes the subject matter interesting. He also wrote the textbook, that you use for his class. I learned a lot and enjoyed the class.

Prof. Treut is the nicest guy and a very competent teacher, but his huge problem is that he's way too nice. I do not think many students in my Speech class made any improvement and he's too easy going to make students work for a grade. This attitude is what kills RVCC.

Prof. Treut is super easy. Just hand in the work and you'll get an A. The mid-term is just a short essay of your thoughts on the subject. You will need to read for weekly reading quizzes (on Webstudy), but the book is easy and enjoyable. He really cares about his students and the course material. He's also a total hippie and a chill dude. Loved him

Such a down-to-earth and awesome guy. Interpersonal Comm is a very easy class. Read a chapter each week in the textbook and answer questions online. Definitely recommend taking!

Professor Treut was one of the best professors I've had at RVCC. His lectures are hilarious. Also, you do a huge project in lieu of a final, which is really fun. You can turn in the assignments whenever, but don't put them off or else you'll be swamped when it comes time to do research for the final. Take his class. I guarantee you'll love it.

Treut is a good professor and a very nice man. I enjoyed having him as my teacher and he definitely is knowledgeable about the subject. The class had online quizzes that were in my opinion not easy and worth a lot of points for how short they were. So make sure to study for them.

Cant say enough good things about Treut! He is great, would definitely recommend taking him. He does tend to go off topic a lot and is not the best at answering emails. Everything is online like quizzes but honestly not a hard class to pass. Bottom line he is a great teacher!

The assignments, especially the midterm, are a kind of a lot, but his instructions on how to do it are concise. Loved doing the cigar picture outside.
