Prof Weart makes things unbelievably easy to understand. And rather than waste time on all the menial details, he goes over what you need to know. Amazing professor. I never thought A&P could ever be anything other than a headache. He makes it fun to attend class with his witty sense of humor! Wish he taught A&P 2!!

A&P1 is going to be hard no matter who you take, but Weart will be the most understanding. He shares his powerpoints, makes review guides, offers optional in-person test-reviews (usually on fridays). Very little text book use, but it never hurts go through it when you have questions. I definitely recommend him. It's a hard class, but studying definitely pays off.

Dr. Weart is a wonderful professor! At first I didn't know what to expect of him but he proved to be willing to help and always made sure the students understood the information before moving on to the next topic. Professor Weart is by far the best professor at Grayson for A&P 1. He is incredibly compassionate and caring toward his students. If you miss a day of lab/lecture, he will remember and ask where you were/if you're okay. His lecture style is fun and easy to learn from. He hosts reviews on Fridays before tests and if you go to those, it helps.

I think it speaks volumes for any professor that can take one of the "dreaded" mandatory prereqs like Micro and not only make it a great experience but also ensure students have everything they need to succeed in the class. His style is nonchalant but enthusiastic still...it totally works. You'll see.

He takes his time to make sure his students understand the material, whether it's over Blackboard,during class,or during office hours,I promise all of your questions will be answered.Test reviews are given as well.It's a difficult class, but putting forth the effort will be worth it at the end.

At the beginning I was so scare to take this class, but Dr. Weart is an awesome instructor I wish he teaches A&P II. He works very hard with all of us and he makes sure we understand the material...I enjoy all of his lectures and I hope I could take him for my microbiology class!

Like many other students, I took Prof. Weart without knowing anything about him. But I chose the best guy; he is a great teacher. His goal for his students is that they understand the subject to the point where the knowledge will remain with them. If you have the need to take A&P I, I will recommend that you give him first preference.

Weart has a unique ability to make a potentially very difficult subject easier to digest. The subject matter is still hard, but he presents it in such a way as it is easier to learn.

He is a wonderful teacher, really knows the material! Very helpful in providing pictures and reviews that are easy! 20% was homework--a saving grace! Could not ask for a better teacher. I had him twice (Mirco and A & P). If you have not learned the material when your through. Then its because you did not try.

As long as you copy the slides that he post on black board and study you will pass this class and also participate in class you get extra credits just dont take to many classes at a time that will mess up your grades but he is an Amazing teacher and Very caring about his Students

Weart is a great professor. I can say that he honestly cares about his students and wants them to succeed. One thing that he can work on is giving you a less complex answer when asked a question. He is very intelligent and his choice of words can be confusing if you don't know the meaning.

I recommend Professor Weart to anyone who is signing up to take A&P 1. He is an EXCELLENT teacher and I learned so much from him this semester. He gave me all the information I needed to learn and I came out successful. SO thankful to have had a good experience. I will be taking him for microbiology as well.

Microbiology is a very challenging class, no matter who you take. Professor Weart makes a stressful subject easier. If you want an A, you must give up all your free time, don't work, and study until you drop and then get up and study some more. My suggestion is get a study partner or group who is very serious about their grades and study.

Weart is by far my absolute favorite professor at GCC so far. He keeps class interesting, presents the information clearly and tells you exactly what you need to look at for his tests (which you definitely have to study for!). But even though his class is a little on the difficult side, he will always do his best to clarify any confusion.

I had heard so many wonderful things about him during the Summer 2017 semester, that when I decided to re-take A&P 1 again to get a better grade, I chose him for Lab. I wanted to be in his lecture, but it was already full so I made sure to take the lab. It was the BEST DECISION that I've ever made in my educational career.

I was recommended to take him by one of my best friends and I am extremely glad I did. He made it really easy for me to ask him questions and understand the material we learned during the semester. He also is very hilarious and respectful and understands that everyone has bad days. I recommend him 100%!

I felt very comfortable asking questions and coming to him for help. He never made feel like any of my questions were stupid.

Be prepared to study. Professor Weart's class is tough, just like every Anatomy and Physiology class at Grayson. The textbook is not required (don't even buy it) as all his tests can be studied for by reviewing the PowerPoint slides. He is always available to help you in anyway that he can. Weart puts all information needed to succeed online via pictures of models, gives review sheets, and gives partial credit when he can. He wants his students to succeed and makes learning a ton of information a fun process. Make sure to study weekly and not put it off because there is a ton of information to learn. Taking him for Micro in the fall.

I love this man so much. He is the most amazing professor. I already knew I loved him but with the professor I am taking for AP2 right now, I've realized even more how wonderful he was. He has PowerPoints for EVERYTHING, you will never touch a book and his lectures will leave you sad that class is over because he is so interesting to listen to.
