Professor white is probably one of the smartest teachers at teh school but he does not belong teaching a 100 level course. The grading was more than difficult, to the point where its virtually impossible to get an A, and extremely difficult to get a B. Would not advise taking a class with him.

Richard White IS an excellant biology teacher so that easily he could be a MD. I thought it would be real hard, but his teaching skills made it very easy for an older lady like myself. I had his class 2 years ago. And I really haven't had a better teacher in biology since him. I wish he taught BIO 240 and 241.-Maria

Mr. White is completely fair and challenged us by not giving multiple choice. Every thing had to be memorized. This is what prepared us for the final exam. He have us a game plan for memorization and it works! If it's not in the notes it won't be on the test. He gave us tons of extra credit opportunities. He kept the class fun & interesting. Thanks

I have to say he is pretty funny and will make you laugh. His quizzes are tricky, and if you don't study you will fail them. I did not like the extra credit he gave and the labs were boring. He is alright but I don't think I'd choose another class with him.

Mr. White is amazingly organized. He tells you exactly what is going to happen and doesn't usually deviate from the syllabus. Graded tests returned the next day. Complete all assignments and extra credit opportunities & you will get a good grade. Excellent Professor!!

Took his class 2011 summer semester 5 hr class 4 days a week for 5 weeks and he ended up being a great, interseting, funny and informative teacher. I learned alot and has helped me with my bis 136 class. Know his notes front to back and you will do fine. Awesome teacher wish he taught bis 136 & 137. Great TEACHER u wont regret it!

This man is a great teacher. I have my 3 hour bio class with him and he manages to keep me interested the entire 3 hours- which is rare. Best teacher you can have to understand human bio!! He explain everything on his ppt & also he asking the students after each slide if they understand it or not. He repeating the things over and over again. If you study only his ppt, you can pass the class easy. No extra credit, but you have chances to race your grade.

If you study the notes, like he tells you, then you will pass with no problems. I bombed one exam but because of the extra credit(can earn everyday) and simply putting in time to study, I passed with an A. Mr. White cares about his students and their education. He offers good input if you ask questions about your future schooling or career choices.

He is literally the coolest professor at triton. He's really funny and his 3 hour lectures typically feel like 10 minutes long because of how time flies. He makes all his test from scratch, or so he says, so I mean all you really gotta study are your notes and you're all set. He gives a lot of extra credit. Highly recommend him!!!

Professor White is by far my favorite professor so far at Triton. Anatomy is a hard course as is, and on top of it being fully online due to Covid, I couldnt have picked a better class or professor. I thoroughly enjoyed his class. I highly recommend it, however you need to take it seriously. It isnt a blow off class.

Biology can be hard. Mr. White makes it so understandable that it's fun, by using diagrams, real life references, he explains thoroughly while answering any questions. HE teaches, not just play videos or assign us readings. Genuinely cares about students not only passing his class but learning the material. Pay attention he will ask questions.

I really enjoy this class. Most of the time is lecture slides and labs. The thing is, the lectures are really not that boring with Professor White. Professor White makes the lectures interesting and always helps us understand the content. One of the best Bio 101 teachers. Homework is minimal, with easy labs and at-home exams except for the final. The course materials are heavily focused on PowerPoint presentations, and they contain all the information you need to know. Super responsive with any questions and understanding if you speak to him. Took Professor White's human anatomy class by accident, but it has become my all-time favorite class. His lectures are both very interesting and enjoyable. Even though the class meets at 8:00 AM, I actually look forward to it. I highly recommend this class. I would take it again, if I could!

He's really nice, attendance does matter and you can only miss 4 times or he will drop you. One homework assignment a week and it's really short (takes 20 minutes max). Very lecture heavy tho so be prepared. Also calls on everyone in the beginning to review previous chapters but don't worry he doesn't make you feel bad if you don't know.
