Lectures are entertaining. Some found it difficult to understand his French accent but I didn't. tests are a breeze and the only homework was extra credit and one big project at the end. All in all a great professor.

A great professor! Download his study guides and follow those because all of what he talks about in class are on there and he takes almost all the test questions from there. I took him in the winter and we didn't have to read the textbook to get an A. The way he explains it makes it really clear.

I was bored majority of the time I was in his class. Study guides were just read to us (cant students do that themselves?!). He drops one test (the lowest except the final) if you have good attendance. Do the extra credit and he adds little points to your grade. BTW, don't bother asking your grade via e-mail - he won't give it out; ask in person.

Great Teacher, uses his study guide in class that you can print off blackboard. If you need to use the book hit the library, however I never needed it. The study guides are the test. Great class, cool teacher and very intelligent. Two Thumbs Up.

Prof.Brown was excellent at explaning concepts in class. He took attendence every session & leaving early pisses him off. He encourages students to participate in class discussions. No homework,just 4 tests (including final) and one presentation. Good class. Got an A.

Took the class online in fall. You must look over the notes and understand all concepts with who created what theory and how it?s applied. Tests are on concepts and book readings. Be sure to post every week, the paper was fun. I highly recommend the class.

One of the best teachers I have had for an online class. Not for lazy people though, you have to read to pass the tests. Expectations are clear, read 1 chapter a week and answer 1 discussion board question, test every 3 chpts. He likes specific/scientific answers not general knowledge. Easy A if your not afraid to read!

He is a great guy and a lot of fun to talk to outside of class. If you want an A here is all you have to do. 1. Every other test (there are four total) he gives extra credit that is really easy 2. Online he has study guides for the test. If you know the study guide you know the test (don't waste time reading other stuff just master the study guide)

i took his class as a filler during my semester and it quickly became my fav, it was my only class that i had in the morning that i never missed, i quickly changed my major after taking his class. he aslo has no prob helping u outside of class if you dont get something. i wish he could be my teacher for everything!!

Dr Brown is the best prepared professor with regard 2 knowing his field of study.He started out in Research Psychology & moved in2 teaching.He went by his study notes mostly but he suggest buying the book. As an older student I'm interested in understanding subject matter. He's so good he rarely needs to look at any notes. Take it in classroom.

I took PSY of Sexuality online. I really enjoyed the class. You do need to keep up on the discussion boards. Since it is online, tests are open book. It won't help too much since it is timed. The term paper wasn't difficult. I just wasn't sure exactly what he wanted. Overall a good instructer and is willing to help out if you have any questions.

Really cool teacher who is easy to learn from. He's a younger guy so he isn't so anal. Has lots of class discussions and stories to tell. No homework just had to study his handouts for quizzes and tests. One class even turned to people telling what drugs they do and he wasn't judgmental at all lol. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!.

DE fast track. One of my favorite DE classes I've taken. Discussion board questions were interesting and tests were simple. He really made me want to read the book and know what we were talking about on discussion boards. Wish I had taken him in class and seen his teaching style. 4 tests, two dis boards every week. One 4 pg paper at the end.

Sarcastic and humorous. Loves what he talks about and very relaxed with his students. There is 1 presentation a student must do but he actually is very easy. It's pass or fail. If you fail it he lets you redo it. He gives you an outline of what is discussed in class and what to read in your book. Took him in winter and found the class enjoyable.

Easy and engaging. Study the studyguides he gives you and you seriously can't not get an A!! Also for the presentation that you have to do. Do it alone and don't read off cards and you will get an A on it. Easiest and most laid back class I've ever had in college.

Really enjoyed this class. The material was interesting and Brown's comments and directions made things crystal clear. 4 multiple-choice tests and a 4-page term paper, which is not difficult to write considering the material. Plus the weekly discussion board post which are more fun/creative than actual work. To top it off, easy grader.

This professor is the reason I got into psychology. He is by far the most influential teacher I have ever had, I have moved on to two different universities I'm at University of La Verne on a full scholarship and Dr. Brown is still my favorite teacher. This class was great, he's very laid back, handsome & funny. The lectures are easy & the exams are straight-forward. I barely used the textbook, we did do a presentation which I completely blew, but he let me redo it after class which was awesome. My class was very quiet & that would really bore him, he would always joke about it lol ;p

Interesting class only down side is you don't get to here his lectures witch were hilarious in his PSY 101 class but he did have funny post every week. Its pretty much do the reading make a discussion board post for every chapter only 4 tests. and one final 3-5 page essay witch will be easy for you.

This was the one class I wish I would've taken on campus. It was about sex so it was pretty interesting. Brown's personality definitely did shine through the computer screen. It was a great class, just a lot of reading.

Rick's really laid back and French. He's a funny guy and engages with the students during lectures. Make sure to attend his lectures (you won't need the book if you pay attention). He never assigned homework, but there were five tests including the final, so make sure you do well on those.

Professor Brown's personality is very endearing and made for statistics to be much more enjoyable. He's a very forgiving grader, and he'll take the time to help students when they're stuck. Be sure to attend every class to fully absorb the material.

Professor Brown is a great instructor. He goes over all the material you need to know for the test, there is no reason not to pass his tests(plus he provides us with study guides). We had one presentation during the semester(relax it's not so bad). I passed the class with a good grade without the textbook, just pay attention during his lectures.

I absolutely loved Dr. Brown. Easily my favorite class I've taken at Citrus, he's interesting, witty, nonchalant, and a great teacher. He's easy-going and understanding, and as long as you show up and take notes, the tests are no problem. He's very clear on what he wants, and although occasionally goes off on tangents, they're usually entertaining.

I adore this man. He really knows his stuff and is always open to questions. The classroom atmosphere is really chill, but we still learn everything we need to before the exam. He's a funny guy and really cares about his students (the ones that try). It's an easy A if you take good notes on the lecture; I haven't even touched the textbook.

I've had Dr. Brown for PSY 101 and PSY 103 and I can honestly say that he is a huge inspiration to me and to many of his students. He has a great sense of humor, is generous with his time, and he makes his students feel valued and seeks to help each of them grasp the material in a meaningful way. The only negative about Professor Browns class is that there is A LOT of time between exams. (Most people would probably like this) BUT It becomes a problem when you've literally forgotten everything about the first couple of chapters and you have to relearn it all over again on your own. Besides that.... great class.. awesome professor!

USE the study guides and do the extra credit! He literally gives you all of the tools that you need to pass, you just have to utilize them. Plus his accent is HOT so it's easy to LISTEN to everything he says. Overall, awesome class! :)

4 exams including final and hw assignments. Statistics is the hardest class i've ever had to repeat but this was my 1st time taking Brown for stats. It's a difficult subject that is often underestimated. I struggled but i used the tutoring services. Prof Brown truly cares and wants to see his students succeed. Don't be afraid to ask for help!

I took Psychology of Human Sexuality with professor Brown online during the Winter 2017 semester. The class was an easy A for me. It consisted of discussion boards, quizzes, tests, and a final. Reading is a must but this is college, you should know this by now! Overall, incredible teacher.

Ricky is a great teacher. I guess we all have different ways of learning. For his Psy 101 class I got an A, but for Stats i got a D. I guess it was mostly my fault, because the material seems so easy, but you need to practice. He will answer your questions and will work problems out with you. very nice guy with a "french" accent.

I thought I would need the textbook despite the reviews on this website but it turns out you really DON'T need it. KNOW THE STUDY GUIDES WELL and you'll get and A. Professor Brown's class was STRICTLY lecture. No homework, just exams & a presentation. His lectures were so amazing & easy to understand. He is very thorough and encourages asking questions. He WANTS you to understand more than anything. He's so hilarious in class & his accent is so great :-))

For his online class you have weekly discussions with 2 responses that aren't a brain scrambler. Every 2 chapters you have a test. The questions are very in depth and sometimes complicated. Makes you think outside the box and analyze each question. Multiple choice. Everything comes from the book. Good teacher and interesting information.

You can get by on just lectures, but I listened to lectures and read, AND followed the study guide. It was psychobiology so there was a lot of information, but he makes it clear and if you don't understand he will always help. Great mindset and ideas, we dove deep into human mind. And his French accent makes him very interesting to listen to.

He gives extra credit every week and gives an optional paper that'll replace your lowest test score (excluding the final). Reading the chapters thoroughly and taking note of the questions of the past tests will come in clutch for the final. Great class; wish I would've taken it on campus than online.

Took this class my freshman year of college and it was one of my easiest classes. No homework is ever assigned but I do suggest not slacking on studying for tests. A presentation is a part of your grade by the end of the course and extra credit is available.

Easy A for sure. Took this class online for Fall semester 2019 and it requires minimal work and effort. You can get up to 2 points extra credit on every discussion board. Definitely one of the easier online classes I've taken. Would recommend taking this course online.

Professor Brown was my first college professor ever, and hes just all around awesome! He knows how to break down the material in the book really well, so you learn a lot if you pay 100% attention and actively participate in his class. He is also very understanding about missed classes if you make sure to email him the night before.

Took his online course for Winter 2020. Read 2 chapters and 2 discussions per week which can get 2+ extra credits if he finds it worthy enough. 4 exams and final. To make up for the lowest scored exam, he gives you an "optional paper" to replace it. He made the class fun to participate in. Just don't half ass your posts and always reply to others.

Great Professor. Gives all the work at the beginning of the week and due midnight Sunday. Clear instructions and most of the work is common sense. The exam is heavy and almost all of it is scenarios where you will have to identify the situation so study up. Honestly though, if you fail that's on you because the work can't be more clear.

I took his Psy 225 class online summer of 2020 during the cov-19. He is a very funny professor, you need your book in order to pass the class. I read 2 chapters a week and had an exam every week. The exam is based on the chapters you read, and need to participant with other students in order to receive credit.

Love this professor. Ive taken him 3 times already lol. He is very understanding and his course work is not heavy. It is manageable ESPECIALLY bc of COVID. I work so much and he gives the perfect amount of work weekly and his online class is such positive energy. No zoom which I love just read his lectures and do his discussions and you will be ok

I would definitely recommend taking this professor. He was very kind and I loved his discussions he posted. Due to covid-19, his class was asynchronous and he was very understanding. This class helped me get a lot off my chest and I really appreciated the class.

He is caring and is always open to receiving emails to help you out. Although we did not meet together he made the class very interesting, making Psychology very easy to understand with Youtube videos he provides. Make sure to know the definitions. Tests/quiz are not hard if you go through the text. Chapters are long but they just explain in depth.

I loved this professor. I took this class online during the summer. He was super nice and wanted us to succeed. As well as, we only had one discussion per week and an exam per week. He gave us extra credit if we wrote over the minimum on the discussions. Super nice guy.

Prof. Brown's class was very easy, all he had for assignments were discussions and exams, that's it, no HW at all. All the exams have practice tests, it only takes a little time to read the textbook and the discussions get an easy A in his class.

Don't really do these but this class was very straight forward perfect for someone who wants something consistent and reliable, just watch videos and participate in the class discussion and read the textbook to answer the test. Do that and an easy A

Class had a 100 question final and 5, 50 question exams( all timed and multiple choice but you can't go back to the previous question. Has 2 discussion posts a week(gives a clear rubric), so it's not hard to get an A as long as you ready for the exams. I would defined recommend this professor again, he is very passionate about what he teaches.

1 discussion board due a week(which was almost always how it relates to you). Test after every two chapters and you couldn't go back to see previous question once started. Easy class overall.
