One of the best professors I've ever had. He made learning the material interesting and fun. I totally recommend his class.

I took his class before, and I was very impressed. His lectures are fun, and all of his work are easy if you follow along. Also, when you first meet him... you'll think he's some crazy Harley-Davidson driving guy but he's actually beyond cool. I'm a lazy student and managed to obtain an 'A' from his class.

This guy walks in wearing an Aqua Teen Hunger Force T, and I knew it was gonna be a good class. If you're taking a psych class, fight tooth and nail to get into Frei's class -- you won't regret it. He's tough, but fair, and damn interesting. If you show up, pay attention, (it's almost impossible NOT to), and write your own paper, you'll do fine.

I expected an old guy, but i was surprised to see him. He teaches very well, this class was probably one of the most interesting class I've ever took. Just take notes, and study them and you'll get an A. You won't regret taking this class.

What a great professor! Dr Frei keeps the whole class entertained and interested. He gives out study guides for every test - you'll need to study, but at least you know exactly what to study :)

This Class is extremely easy if you show up to class. Class is very interesting and fun. Tests are only what was covered in class and project are EASY!!!

Finishes in about 40-45 minutes. Great teacher. tests are extremely fair. Plenty of extra credit available.

He probably is the best psych teacher at the college...he also is not what you might expect a psych teacher to look and be like, which is a good thing! I mean, the man moonlights in a rock band...he rocks!

Hands down the reason why no one has the right to down CCP...great professor i swear he should have hs own talk show...very fun makes the class laugh...exams are sweet but you have to earn you A by studying and reading like i did =) the bomb for sure!

His appearance may not look like a professor but believe it he is best of the best of the best of the BEST!!! All his exams come from 90% class lectures! All straight forward!! He definitely gives the class fun atmosphere!! You won't fall a sleep and you can't help but participate during class lectures!! OMG I had so much fun!! Don't hesitate!

If you to class and write the mid term and final paper, you will easily pass.

He is one of the best teachers you will ever have. Come to class on time every day scheduled, he only give you a midterm worth 20% of your grade and a final 20% of your grade then a project worth 60% of your grade and that is it. So take notes pay attention in class and do the readings and it is an easy "A"

I believe if you would like a realistic, and when i say realistic i mean "current event "teacher then this is for you. You need not remember dates or pyshcologist names etc. What you should do is attend ALL classes. not because he take role but because everything he lectures on(which is pretty interesting)he makes it relate to the students.

Dr. Frei is awesome! His lectures are so interesting and easy to relate to. It's not a chore to be engaged and participate in class. His grading system is more than fair. And Adult Swim fans will be amazed at his collection of ATHF shirts.

No joke. Dr. Frei is the coolest professor of all time. But besides that, he's amazingly knowledgeable, informative, and helpful. I learned so much. He is also so approachable, and he makes learning fun. I loved it and I wish he could teach all of my classes. AMAZING.

Dr. Frei is one of the best teachers I have ever had. He is straight forward in what he expects from you. His lectures are interesting and draw you into the conversation. If you do the work his class can be easy; however, he leaves little room for you to screw up. So show up, pay attention and turn your work in and you will get a good grade.

Great person. Very funny and down to Earth. He is so smart and his class was interesting, but at times I found it to be a little boring. No homework and gives review sheets for his midterm and final, which are the only tests he gives. You have to read a good chunk though for each chapter of the book, which he goes over in 2 or 3 classes tops.

Great Professor. Not easy but very helpful.Wants you to become an expert in one behavior and the 10 page report is 40% of your grade so you must complete it to pass the class. Keep the class very interesting and must attend tests are from notes taken in class.

Good class, but loses student's work (Exams). Suppose to get an "A" for my final grade but got a "C" because he lost my final exam!! Does this a lot.

Phd holder, but looks very simple like ordinary man,i love him, his explanations are easy to understand, gives more oppertunities to pass his class. very helpful. project and presentation there you go ur 25points. xtra credits 3 points and final exam is optional. I receomend him to anyone. just follow his notes and text book.

Really good professor. Makes class interesting. Learned a lot from this class that I still use. Test are fair and he gives extra credit options if your not a good test taker. One of the teachers I'll remember! I would take him again if he taught other psych classes.

His syllabus is crystal clear, it even has study questions for the tests! His class is challenging, and you must read the book and take good notes to pass. AMAZING PROFESSOR. He makes psychology very interesting. His lectures are filled with helpful examples, not boring. Beware though, he talks fast, but he doesn't mind you stopping him. Just go to class everyday, read the textbook, answer the study guide Q's, and you will be guaranteed with straight A's. If you're lazy, don't take this class.

Dr Frei is the quintessential college professor updated for the millennium. A superb lecturer, Dr Frei makes psychology engrossing. Following his class I felt like Dorothy pulling back the curtain; suddenly able to behold what drives human behavior. Dr Frei lit a fire in my mind that Ive fed voraciously since. Amazing experience, RECOMMENDED!

Professor Frei is the coolest prof ever! he is funny and down to earth. He loves his field of teaching and gives you all the tools to pass in his exams. if you want an easy proff dont take him. He gives 4 80 questions test for the whole semester and 2 papers. But overall very fun class and enjoyed it.

I took him in Psych 101 and 110 . Both classes was fun, but not a easy or tough, in the middle. Helps through his office any time you want. I wish I can take him in other Psych classes. Best teacher I ever had at CCP! Highly recommend it.

At first the class is a bit confusing but Frei definitely clears things up for you. You need the textbook more for the midterm and final than the class itself. You also have a project that it is a good chunk of your final grade so sure to come to him often for help. Be sure to attend class or you won't know what you're doing for the project.

You have to read A LOT! but he is hilarious and you really will look forward to going to class everyday

Funniest and most awesome professor in CCP!!!! I loved going to his class!!! He is so down to earth. There is a lot of reading but he helps you if you need it!

Prof. Frei is very funny and great at painting a picture. He does not just go on and on from the text book, but is actually very engaging and breaks things down perfectly. Do not shy from asking questions because Prof. Frei would take the time to answer all of them. The Exams are usually 75 questions long and are tough if you don't go over notes.

One of the best profs at CCP! Intelligent, fun, funny and knows how to engage students. In lecture take notes and re-read for exams. Best 4 of 6 grades is easy. Narrows down what's most important in psych. You'll be curious about the mind & find out interesting, useful info in his class. MUST take! He made me want to become a psychologist. Stellar.

He is super amazing. He's funny and you only need to do 4 out of his 6 assignments. He doesn't take attendance and he has the funniest stories. His lectures are worth going to because he summarizes the reading. I would def take him again. He was the best.

Dr. Frei has great lectures and is quite funny. He demonstrated a lot of social grace when dealing with some obnoxious students in the class- even when they were cutting him off/speaking over him. Super chill.

DR. Frei's class was very straight forward you get the grade you deserve, also i loved that after the first 4 assignments you get the option to either take the grade you currently have or continue on with the course in order to improve your current grade.

My interest and curiosity of Human Psychology led to me selecting the class sans any knowledge of the professor as I was a new student at CCP. The classes' introduction to Dr. Frie was a bearded guy in camo shorts, worn chucks, an Aqua Teen Hunger Force T-shirt, direct communication and a sense of humor while asking for the respect of we students.

Dr. Frei is amazing. I'm not a psychology major but I wish I was... I would take him for every course if I could... Made the material very interesting and kept me intrigued. 4 exams, a written paper & a final oral presentation. He drops the lowest two grades. Lectures are very important for tests so go to class. Love him !!!!

First of all the bread is soo cool! But seriously he is an amazing professor, one of my favorite classes, you really actually learn and it made my class go by so quick! He explains everything is the simplest way possible, one thing though: make sure you buy the book and show up to class! fun fact: he drops the 2 lowest grades.

Professor Frei is an inspirational and funny professor. But his class is no cakewalk, but manageable. 4 exams, 1 paper, 1 presentation (lowest 2 dropped). His lectures are pivotal to passing. I didnt read the textbook at all and did pretty good because of the lectures. Very approachable and friendly. I got a B because I slacked but an A is doable.

Dr. Frei is by far my favorite professor I've had over the past 3 semesters at CCP! He is an amazing lecturer and really keeps the students engaged. YOU HAVE TO ATTEND ALL LECTURES, even though he doesn't take attendance. The syllabus has a breakdown of the 4 tests and a study guide for each test, go through that and you have a guaranteed A.

I took Dr Frei for psych 101 early summer 20 Online and let me say it was an amazing class. His feedback was very helpful and encouraging .He gives you ample time to do the assignments. Hes more than fair when grading. If you have the chance to take him DO IT!!! You wont regret it! If you ever need to reach him he responds within minutes .

His lectures are THE BEST. He makes learning so relatable that it's easy to learn from his personal anecdotes. He's really chill and his grading outline is more than fair. He is gives insightful feedback and is readily available to help. His exams are a little tough because you need to really understand the material to do well. Take his class!!

The way he broke everything down step by step was great, his lectures were interesting, he was clear on assignments, would go over quiz material in class. Professor Frei made online learning more manageable

Professor Frei was a great teacher for a online class. If you are not sure about taking him online DO IT. It was a clear guide to tests and assignments. the test were not hard at all and you literally get to use the textbook. The videos he has you watch are very interesting to the point I had my friends watching it. Great teacher and fair grader.

Professor Frei made the classroom a very comfortable environment it, it was a place where no one was scared to ask a question. A lot of the assignments giving in his class were not hard and had to do with stuff we reviewed in class. Overall he was a great teacher and really cared about what he was teaching.

Professor Frei is energetic and passionate for the subject. He is very accessible and flexible. Lectures are fun and understandable. Take his class you will be not regret it.

I would definitely take this professor again. He was very clear about all the reading we had to do but was very nice about late assignments and easy to access outside of class (even during 12am hours lol). He's a very funny person and his grading rubric is nice for the most part. Just do the work and readings and you'll pass the class.

I took Dr. Frei's online Psych101 course over a condensed summer semester. Although it was asynchronous, he was available for any questions and answered quickly. The class' grading system & expectations were clear, and it was a very manageable workload. Interesting course overall!
