Dr. Fry is the only teacher i've ever had that i actually enjoyed going to class. he is very interesting, and VERY CLEAR---he makes sure you understand the material

I love being in his class. He isn't afraid to act goofy in order for you to learn. No tricks, study what he tells you to and you will do fine.

Fun dude. Tests werent' hard, unless you didn't study. Go to class at least once a week because he collects work sheets out of the text, it helps tremendously.

If you want an A you'll have to go to class to turn in the blue sheets. But, if you'll take a B, don't bother going. Read the chapters, and do the quizzes before you take the tests. You'll ace the tests and won't need the blue sheets to pull up your grade.

Dr. Fry is hilarious and still manages to teach the material. He included the class in his lectures and makes you want to participate, and how can you not love a teacher who gives you a study guide with 95% of the test info on it?

You must go to class to get notes (and homework) and buy the workbook him and his buds made (avg$50). If you go to class and study the book you will get an A.

Summer 06. I sat through a 3 hour class with him. Yes you'll get stuck with his book. Can't do anything about it. Make sure to do those worksheets becasue they'll help you out a little. 3 tests multiple choice. Make sure you look over the practice questions online because he does put them on the test word for word. He is a very weird but nice. (B)

He's crazy, but the class is easy. He's a funny guy, but not always in the good way. The tests are mostly off of the study guides, so just study those and if you choose not to go to class, make sure you know when the homework assignments are due.

AMAZING....funny guy...good teacher...all u have to do is study his test printouts on web ct and the quizes for the chapter on web ct...must use the book but and i go just to see him cause he is hilarious

Dr. Fry has worked hard to make the review questions reflect the test questions so ... Do the assignments,memorize the review question answers,then do the quizzes. What you get on the quiz is indicative of what you're going to get on the test. If you want an "A" make sure you're getting all the review and quiz questions right.

Teaches right from the book, entertaining but you don't even have to pay attention in class to get a good grade. He lets you know exactly what you need to know for the test, and he's a really nice guy.

Funny guy. Grade consists of 4 tests, homework and summaries or lab experiments. The book is a $90 workbook which you cannot sell back because you turn in pages for homework. Homework is just a completion grade. There are online quizzes to help study for test, THE SAME QUESTIONS ARE ON TEST. Gives the study guides at beginning of semester. TAKE HIM

this guy is a wierdo and he is not a snappy dresser found his course challenging but u need to go to the online quizzes and memorize them for the tests because the exact questions are on the tests

this guy is weird and hilarious. people who don't have a sense of humor probably won't enjoy this class. the tests are pretty easy and basically a replica of the study guide.

He was funny and explain the material clearly. His tests were basically the same as the study guide and online quizzes. Easy pass but didn't learn much because he was far behind his schedule and the material he didn't have time to teach will still be on the tests.

I never attended class and got an A. Do review sheets and take practice quizzes online. The practice quizzes are actual test questions from tests. He's very funny. I would love to take another class with him.

Dr. Fry is by far one of my favorite professors! He has an awesome sense of humor, and his tests are fairly easy. You DO need the book for this class, but you only need it for the workbook and studying purposes. I would definitely take another one of his classes!

I attended frequently (educational). I fail to study and turn in homework, but passed without struggle. He makes it possible for students to surpass.

Worksheets in the book must be turned in so you can't return your book at the end of the semester. 3 short summaries or experiments must be done. (very easy) tests are right off the study guide and online quizzes. weird sense of humor - def entertaining. curves make class very passable.

As long as you fill out your study guide, you're GOLD. EVERY question is on the guide and on-line quizzes. Easy A with very little work.

Loved this class. Dr. Fry is very clear in his teaching. He reviews previous information at the beginning of class. Book is necessary. If you do the homework, attend class, do the practice quizes on Blackboard, and the test practice sheet you will do well.

Dr. Fry is a funny guy who obviously loves what he does. His tests are easy because he gives lots of practice reviews and practice quizzes, and almost all material is covered in class. You do have to buy the book new because the homework comes from there. You also must either do 3 summaries or participate in 3 experiments by the end of the semester

Honestly, I find Psychology to be incredibly boring, but this professor definitely made the class bearable. Very nice guy, very strong sense of humor and absolutely loves what he does. Grades on a very strong scale, and understands not everyone is in to psych. Wouldn't take it with anyone else. Tests are just like the online practices.

Took this class online. There are a lot of assignments that you have to keep up on and you have to read and study the chapters for the tests they are not hard but not easy either. If you keep up with all the work it will be easy! Got a B!

Dr. Fry is awesome! He is very funny I had him for gen psych and abnormal and those were my two favorite classes at ysu. You should go to class or at least follow the syllabus because it's easy to get behind and lost.

He is a good professor. I rarely went to his lectures and easily got an A. The subject matter of general psychology is so simple it is ridiculous. I do not understand how anyone does poorly in his course.

He gives study guides that are very similar to the test. As long as you do the study guide and the assignments you will pass. He does make you buy the book new because you have to do assignment out of it and rip them out.

Dr. Fry is a great professor! His class was easy as long as you did the homework, experiments (easy), and studied for the test. He is crazy and funny! He knows what he is talking about and keeps class interesting! Make sure to follow your study guides, they are very helpful for the tests! Also the online quizezs help! Would take him again!

I took Dr. Fry because my friend recommended him. I am sincerely glad that I did. Attend class or enjoy reading hundreds of pages. Easy choice, right? I would still recommend to read though. Gives you online test reviews and assessments, which are extremely helpful and is very kind of him.

The tests are tough but if you READ the assigned chapters and answer every question on the studyguide, you can get an A on the test. You'll get about 75% of the information you need from lecture, but 100% from the book. Attendance is not mandatory, but Dr. Fry does try to make lectures fun and silly.

Hilarious. Easy if you just do your assignments, doesn't assign a whole lot. Tests are all multiple choice and every question is on the study guide basically.

He will definitely hold your interest. Makes lectures fun and less torturous. Take advantage of extra credit. He assigns homework but it's fairly easy and all he cares about is if it's done or not. Take advantage of study guides and practice quizzes and you'll be fine.

Dr. Fry is amazing, he is funny and energetic in lecture and keeps you engaged. The tests are challenging only if you don't study. All of the material is covered in class and on the study guide. Show up to class, do the study guide and the practice assessments and you will do fine.

Professor Fry was generally interested in what he was teaching. Overall, the class was super easy in my opinion. He handed us a study guide that was literally the test , so study that and you're set. He took test grades out of the highest points a student got. Easy class overall, just show up and take notes and you're fine.

Very funny amd unsderstanding. He does use the book (he wrote) and his notes are on slides which he does not put on black board!! You will need to attend class for notes. He has many studying reasources for students. His class is amazing and always a good laugh from him

He is hilarious, his tests are a breeze as long as you do the study guide. Its word for word, oh and take his practice tests on blackboard. You'll find the same questions on the tests. Homework is every few weeks and it isn't much. Never showed up to his class except to turn in hw. He is a great teacher though. Easy A.

Dr Fry was my all time favorite professor. He kept me interested at all times and was so funny and nice. His class is very easy if you put in some effort. I enjoyed this class very much!

Dr. Fry is a great guy. He was very understanding. There is homework assignments but nothing major. Be sure to take the quizzes on blackboard you will find the same questions when you take your exams. A little difficult but if you put the time in you should be fine.

Dr. Fry was a fantastic professor! He is very interested in what he is talking about and is always in a great mood. I took the online quizzes and assessments before each test and mostly studied those by making a quizlet for each quiz/assessment and got As on every test. HW is only 5 points but easy, its checked for completion. Take him if you can

I loved rick! He is so funny and makes it enjoyable to read. Everyone always complains about him but if you just study and do what he says you're guaranteed a good grade!
