I took a chance with Mr Ferguson because he had zero review/feedback but I am glad I took his class. He made it interesting learning about Geosphere, Biosphere, Hydrosphere... which is hard to do. Highly recommend taking his class!!!

Mr. Ferg is honestly a great teacher. His lectures are very interactive and you learn something new every day. The only problem is his lectures are simple and easy to understand his test, however, are not. Very hard and very different from what we learn. Thankfully there's only two tests. Ten labs and ten quizzes. He's very understanding and fun.

Professor Ferguson is a great professor! His class is pretty easy just make sure to take lost of notes. There are only two major exams the midterm and final. The other grades are based on labs and quizzes. Quizzes are done on kahoot and are open note. Do not be late for the quiz they are done first 5 min of class, he will start without you.

The most important thing in this class was taking notes and listening to the lectures thoroughly. As long as you have good notes then the class should be easy to pass. The class was based on kahoot quizzes on his lectures and labs, along with a midterm and a final.

LOTS OF WORKLOAD . Get ready to read but pretty easy just super time consuming. Plan ahead and do not procrasinate. Also he responds fast and class isnt that hard like i said you will actually learn alot of things by reading the case studies.

This class can be very easy if you just put your time into reading, completing the assignments, and taking the quizzes. There are several case studies that can be long and a couple of EXAMS but no Lockdown Browser is required. The Prof was very accessible whenever I had a question. I would definitely recommend this professor.

His instructions were clear and all assignments make sense. If you manage your time correctly you shouldn't have a problem. There's not any busy work-- all of his assignments are direct and minimal. He's also good at getting back to your emails and questions.

I took professor Ferguson online for GEOL1301 (Summer 2022) and I really enjoyed his course! The course was self-paced but you had to be mindful of the assignment deadlines. It's a fun class with lots of laughs and great teaching from the professor. Group activities and first 10 minutes are quizzes.

Honestly, this class is fairly easy as long as you do somewhat decent of the midterm and final. Each are worth 30 percent of your total grade. There is a lecture on Tuesday, and a quick quiz and then lab on Thursday, in my case. Pay attention and study for your midterm and final and you should do fine.

I took this class during the summer for one of my science basic credits and it was fairly easy. There is a lot of reading involved, but it's all pretty simple and straight to the point. Tests are open-book and open-note so it shouldn't be hard to pass. Also he gave extra credit which was really nice of him! Overall 10/10!

It is very hard to understand the questions read all the materials that are given so you can better understand what the answers are. A very good professor that wants you to learn what you are reading.

Prof.Ferguson is a very understand professor and he does offer help anytime a student need its. The work load is manage able but try not cram all the assignments on one day.

Professor Ferguson is a genuine professor who cares about students' successes. The class has weekly quizzes and midterms. Read the textbook and do the case studies, you will be golden. Extra credit opportunities are provided as well.

Professor Ferguson is very helpful and responds to all emails in a timely manner. Professor grades on a curve so make sure you are doing the best you can on all assignments. You can use your notes from previous assignments for exams so note-taking is a plus and a must. Overall I really like the course.

I'm taking his 5 week summer course, and its been rough but not impossible. His quizzes are really hard and sometimes confusing where multiple answers could be the correct one but if you do your homework, read all of the chapters and reach out to him if you need any guidance you'll pass!

So long as you submit assignments on time, you should have no issues at all in this course. Professor Ferguson truly only wants to see his students succeed. If there was ever a time that I needed assistance, Professor Ferguson was sure to respond in a timely manner and to explain the concepts thoroughly. Highly recommend!

Straight forward with assignments. Quizzes can be a little wonky with multiple answers sometimes being correct and just needing to guess which one is the best answer but yeah, solid professor.

Professor Ferguson's Online Environmental Science class was a fine experience. There are McGraw-Hill quizzes, articles, and exams, which make up your grade for the class. The articles are a bit tricky and confusing, which may cause a lot of unsatisfactory scores, but there are many opportunities to make up for them with the exam and extra credit.

His quizzes are tricky and the questions are kind of hard to understand but he gave us extra credit to raise our grade.

Super great professor and he gets straight to the point, and teaches very well. You can't miss more than 4 classes though or you'll be dropped so attendance really matters. Tests are a bit hard, you just need to study a lot.

Dr. Ferguson is a great professor, passionate about Geology and meteorology. His lectures were very interesting, so take NOTES they will help you. Labs were fun. Quizzes and tests are tricky, so study as much as you can. Going over the lecture videos can help you out as well. Attendance and punctuality is very important. Good luck.

Professor Ferguson does an amazing job at explaining his material and making labs fun and interactive so you have an easy and enjoyable time learning. He gives weekly quizzes which are easy if you pay attention to the lectures. The only thing is there was only a midterm and final but if you study you will be fine and get an easy A in the class.

Overall Great professor,explains very detailed yet he words everything simple so therefore it is not hard to understand. There is lectures that are heavy but he does let you know and tries to emphasizes on what will be tested on. Labs are understandable hes very helpful trough-out them,guides you and grades very easily as long as class understands.

Dr. Ferguson is one of those rare college professors you don't come across too often. He genuinely cares about his students and the material he teaches. He's very easily accessible, and very helpful towards all. He's been nothing but helpful and inspirational. Highly recommended. You won't regret it. As long as you put in the work, you'll pass.

I really enjoyed my time in Ferguson's class. The course is very straightforward. I appreciated the fact that lectures were online and labs were in person. There were only two tests for the whole semester so study. Weekly quizzes are done on kahoot. He is also very funny and makes the class enjoyable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

He is chill guy just make sure you are on time in the morning for the kahoot quizzes they start when class starts. You do yours labs as a group during class and they are explanatory and straight forward. The tests are easy if you study they are on paper. Besides that one of my favorite professors so far.

Took his hybrid class we had lectures online on tuesdays and in person labs and quizzes on thursdays. It's a fun class and you will learn a lot, proffesor is really passionate and engaging. Quizzes and labs are easy but be careful the tests (though there are only 2) are extremely difficult, definitely study extra hard for those.

I took his class for summer 5 weeks course with 3 other students@8am. If you take notes and pay attention to what he says you will have a great time. Study, you will not have any problems, the labs are very interesting! I needed a science credit and I cannot stress how happy I am to have taken geology with him over chemistry with full classrooms.

Dr. Ferguson is a very nice professor, he really enjoys what he teaches and tries to make it as easy as possible to understand. There were no homework assignments, so most of your grade comes from quizzes and exams. For the exams you create the study guide as a class so it is helpful review. If you communicate he will do whatever he can to help.

I took Dr. Ferguson's Physical Geology course for a summer term. The course is structured well with a good balance of learning and applying knowledge by having a lecture one day and having a quiz/lab that correlates with the lecture directly the next day. Dr. Ferguson cares for what he teaches as well as for his students and makes class exiting.
