Often wears VERY TIGHT leather pants. Very distracting... Hot. Had no idea what the course was about though...

she weared different clothes everyday. her lecture is ok,but her english is poor, especially when i was reading her problems in the exams.
Great prof and a very easy and interesting course, can't even compare to the borring ADM1100. I think it's nice to have a prof who takes care of her looks and I never had any problems understanding her English even though it's not my first language.

Ahhhhhhhh, what a rush! I think I'm in love. Never seen leather pants look so good on a woman! Cold showers for me!!
This is the hottest teacher of all in the Management School! She also is a great prof! She has it all!
She makes a boring course interesting. She explains everything clearly and goes through details for each assignment before it is due. Also her examples are pretty close to what is on the exams. She is definitely the best BDM prof. Beyond the classroom she has experience in the field she is teaching.
such a stupid class. her accent didn't help anyone learn much. marking was unfair.
stop complaining and come to class
Rim in an excellent teacher, sh ealways makes sure veryone understands and is always willing to answer questions and go over concepts.
my g/f had trouble---hard to undserstand her french(difficile de comprendre) and *touggghhhh exams!!!* lots of failures in her class! look out-she is hot though
Rim is the best Prof in the School of Management. She's sincerely interested in her students, and is willing to help out almost anytime. Tough exams, but if you go to class you're laughing.
This professor seems genuinely concerned with her students. It is a boring subject, but it easy to learn from her.
Excellent
She is terribly boring sometimes, only because I think she overemphasizes things that are pretty easy. But she does genuinely care about her students and is much smarter than she seems.

Excellent Prof. Very friendly and helpfull. do not hesitate to come and see for assistance.
She's the best operations professor - I hope she comes back to teach..
i mean what student is going to love a prof that would push to ask them come back. Do not come back please, get a life
she doesn't explain clearly for the meterial that will appear in midterm; she would like to hide the important info if they appear in the exam; she just like local students; in a word, she is not gental!! horriable by taking her course
she is a fair, freindly and care for her students.. one of the best teacher i had...she thaught me ADM 2302 as well...those negative comments your read must have been writtend by students who did not take her class!!!
Don't take this course with anybody else. She is hoooooot and she knows her stuff. Also she will go out of her way to help you if you don't understand something! She gave us her personal phone number and she also calls people who have problems in her class. Easy assignments + B*tch of a midterm + easy final. SHE GIVES REVIEW SHEETS FOR EXAMSSSS!!!
Man, I dropped her class. I'm sorry but none of my friends understood her assignments so i dunno what that other person was talkin about and she was fine in class to explain but not everything was on her slides so if you're sick you're screwed for those helpful examples. I wasn't impressed by her teaching hense the reason I dropped her class.
Awesome Prof! Love Jaber!
she is an amazing professor!!
she is the best professor for ADM 2302 AND 3301
She was awesome, very friendly, had great examples, really explained things.
Adds points to your work when you go see her for help. Very helpful and good teacher.
SHE EXPLAIN THINGS VERY CLEARLY, AND SHE'S HELPFUL NOT LIKE SILVA
"UNCERTAINTY" is NOT pronounced un-cer-tin-i-ty! That bugged me, but other than that she explains subjets effectively and relates them to real-life situations well. Feedback/help on assignments are a little vague at times.
Rim is the best!!
The class materials are very easy. You would find yourself hard to not fall asleep in class but still get a good grade.
Is an OK prof. Huge cans are a plus for the boring parts of the class. Only big drawback: failed the class with 46%, she was NOT available for a meeting (had lame excuse after another). If you're bilingual big Jean Couillard over her.
Ok prof but I hated her class with a passion. She tends to have mood swings when answering questions.
She is amazing! Best prof I have ever had. She is caring and makes sure you understand everything. She makes sure to interact with the class as well. I never missed a class because I enjoyed it. PLus she is reallly beautiful.
Material is extremely difficult to grasp and get right (for ADM2302) for ADM3301, the material is less harder but nonetheless, she is extremely helpful, explains clearly, expectations are clear. but midterms are BRUTAL - extremely difficult. you have to work on practice problems ALL THE TIME to do well.
This professor is hard to understand and she doesn't explain well the course. i do not know why the University are allowing her to teach....she sucks big time. Anyone who is going to take it, I recommand to take it with Jean Guillard...he is awsome!
SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST PROFS IN TELFER. VERY HELPFUL AND YOU HAVE TO VISIT HER DURING HER OFFICE HRS AND SHE EXPLAINS IN DETAIL. HER MIDTERN IS HARDER THAN THE FINAL. SHE DOES IT THIS WAY IN ORDER TO PREPARE YOU!!!
She conveys a hard subject well. This course is VERY logic based, so if you're lucky you will just understand it. Most people, however will have to go to class and do the end of chapter problems. The suggested excercises are similar to what appears on exams/midterms so do them!
Excellent professor, she conveys the material very well and wants you to succeed. If you have questions, do not be afraid to approach her after class or during her office hours. A lot of people find the first half harder than the second - so work hard and you'll do fine.
Mid term exam is so hard and full of tricks, not enough time was given.Final exam is more manageable. She is really friendly, a decent prof.
Really GREAT prof!! She's extremely helpful, you can ask her a million questions and she will answer them all and not get annoyed!!She explains so well, her class is really organized, the only way you can do bad in this class is if you never show up.You have to go to EVERY class because she always gives examples that end up on the exams/assignments.
midterm- hard use previous years midterm from notebro, its very similar . final is easier, assignments are hard though.
Loved this professor, she is fantastic, always willing to help and her lectures are very simple and she breaks everything down for the students to understand. Midterm is hard, but in general I find the class hard. When taking BDM try to get her.
Interesting material is you pay attention. Assignments/exams are challenging but if you get it it's pretty straightforward. She should perhaps go over more examples because it feels really rushed getting through the course material. Very much the continuation of BDM (with some stats).
By far one of my favourite professors! Always willing to her students, however she holds her students to a high standard. Also notices if students ditch class. Assignments are super hard, midterm & final were fair.
Really easy/simple course. She goes through examples during class and the assignments are almost the exact same. I didnt go to any DGD's and that didn't hurt me. An overall great teacher who is always there to help and is very helpful on assignments.
This prof is absolutely H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E: Would not recommend her. She is the worst, tough to understand because of her huge accent, has a bit of a dumb blonde demeanor, and does not care about students whatsover (Wants to make you think like she does by using dumb, fluffy, sentences such as "you guys will be fine for the exam"...)
Only need the textbook for multiple choice questions (you won't get ANY if you don't read it), other than that her lectures are extremely clear and helpful. Sometimes spends too much time going over very simple stuff (averaging.. we get it) but is always willing to help if you need it. Extra office hours galore. Make sure you go to the "game" class
The course was harder than BDM, I failed the midterm, but miraculously passed the final, and passed the class with a C. i got A in BDM. Go to sinclairs review session, and use his cheat sheet. She explains clearly but the Qs on exams r different . ATTEND CLASS! u cant pass, unless u do!!!!!!!!
The project OMG, feels like crying T.T Oooh, and there are 2 assignments as well. Critical to find good team mates. Midterm is quite hard. Final, more or less the same. But she is a helpful prof., pretty innovative as well.
It will be great if you do discussion group questionshomework and attend DGDs! I really like the stimulation game, videos and lectures in class. Rim Jaber is an amazing prof: extremely helpful, friendly and straight-forward. Yes, beware of group projects. Remember, before finals, try to find more sample exams for practice and read your textbook
One of the best profs I have had so far. Very clear cut. Makes BDM bearable and somewhat easy (If you do the work). Very helpful and cares about students. Her lectures are very clear and she will help you in office hours if need be. Highly recommend.
The project is really a pain. Course difficulty is around medium. As long as you put effort, you will understand. She is a good enough prof. She cares for the student. It is just the project that will sometimes make you dislike her.
A little dry and hard to listen to, but she's very nice outside of class. Overall not bad, just not great.
Great Prof. Tests are hard if you don't practice and I mean it you gotta practice. The group project doesn't involved math yet all you learn in the course in math. It's best to use a company that you work for if you can get internal details or know higher ups, really helps with the group project. You will need to get the textbook for ch. 6, ch 6s.
Good prof, really kind and will help you when you ask for it. Midterm was harder than final exam.
Rim Jaber is a fair prof that does her best to insure success. While the course in itself is a mouthful (thank goodness for Sinclair), she will go above and beyond to help you understand the content. Plus, she is extremely positive and always offers a friendly smile. Visit her office hours! She always does her best to clarify the content.
Amazing prof. So helpful!! Exams are not easy, but if you go to classes (lectures and DGDs), you will be fine. The group project was a bit confusing at first, but ask questions and Rim will help!
She's a great professor. She makes difficult course material simpler to understand.
excellent, super friendly, stays beyond class time to help. very clear, expects quality work. exams are never a surprise
Great prof! She really cares about her students and is willing to open more office hours to accommodate to your needs.
One of the best profs I've ever had. Really nice and will remember your face if you come to her office hours. Makes an extra effort to provide office hours and stays late for you even though she hasn't eaten dinner. Provides extra help with assignments if you seek out her help. Anyone giving bad reviews didn't look for help. Extremely kind.
She's a really good professor. She really cares and even thought this may not be the easiest class for some people she really does help. She has really clear expectations with the assignments and the exams. Midterms was a bit more challenging. Definitely will be taking her again for Operations Management.
She is a great prof. Her slides are good but attending the lectures and following along with the problems she does in class is extremely helpful in understanding the material. The midterm and exam were similar to previous years questions (which were posted on Blackboard).
Professor Rim is excellent. She provides clear instruction to her expectations. I found her teaching style comprehensive and is clearly guided. She really cares for her students success and truly inspires them in her dedication. 100% would recommend.
She really cares about her students doing good. She posts a practice midterm and final which seem to be easy but the actual exams are more difficult than that.
Professor Jaber is one of the most caring profs at Telfer. She really goes above and beyond to make sure her students understand the material and is always willing to stay longer in her office hours. Highly recommend you attend class as the course is content heavy. Fairly easy exams & assignments.
Rim is the best BA prof you can get. Very dedicated and organized. Nice and super accommodating of questions around midterm/final season. Good lectures (but sometimes long) she goes through examples very effectively. Go to class, practice the questions, don't neglect the concepts and you can do really well in this class.
Rim is a wonderful professor. She does lots of examples in class to make sure that the theory is well communicated and understood. I would certainly take another class that she teaches.
Prof. Jaber explains concepts and calculations well in class using the chalkboard. She also provides ample opportunity to review exams for re-grading and dedicates a lot of time outside of class to students. It's important to attend class as the calculations and explanations in the textbook aren't as clear-cut.
This class is mandatory for telfer students. It is a hard course but rim jaber teaches it the best. DO NOT take Davood for ops. Rim truly cares about her students and wants them succeed in the course. She is honest about the course from day 1. Go to her office hours. She is always willing to help if you have any questions
No words can describe how amazing Professor Jaber is!!! Her teaching style is amazing, she really knows how to make a tough subject easy. I definitely recommend her
This class is very tough. Rim does a good job at breaking things down. However, everyone knows to go to Mike Sinclair. For the exams: you either get the point or you don't. DGD helps a lot.
She was fine as a prof. Her lecture slides were helpful and the textbook isn't necessary. I wouldn't take her again because she penalized my partner and I for using a tutor on the assignments. She accused us of plagiarism and took away 50% of the grade even after explaining that we had come to our own answers. Don't take her if you have a tutor.
Very nice lady. Goes out of her way to make sure you have all the necessary material for succeeding in the course. Class moves extremely quickly so be sure not to fall behind on the content. Take advantage of the extra practice problems done in the DGD's. Midterm was tough, but fair. Highly recommend
really good prof, assignments were hard and take time but the midterm and final weren't hard. don't bother buying the book its useless.
Rim is a very fair prof that cares about her students. Her midterm and final were very fair, there were no surprises at all. However, her assignments are extremely difficult and take so much time for 5% each (which in my opinion, is not even worth it). Other than the dreadful assignments, she is a very good prof and she's accessible outside class
She's an okay prof, but the course is so difficult to understand. Group assignments are very very very hard, especially case study. Keep doing practice for this course or you will struggle a LOT.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and exams being online, Rim randomized the order of the questions for each student AND decided to not let students flip back to questions that were already completed. This means that you don't even get to check your work when you're done. THIS WAS A STUPID MOVE AND WAS DONE NOT IN THE INTEREST OF STUDENTS.
This course is really pointless because all you learn is setting x and y and do Excel stuff. The prof really doesn't help a lot since her explanation is sometimes vague and hard to follow. Also, she doesn't allow us to backtrack our questions for Final exam. Anyway, I want to say that everyone should avoid her but she is the only prof in ADM2302.
Prof Jaber has the supremacy of ADM2302, but she is a nice and friendly prof who would like to explain complex terms to you if you ask her. The group assignments are ten times harder than personal assignments, which requires students to be really hardworking. The final exam is acceptable but not that easy as well. Keep working harder is the onlyway
I am shocked to see any negative reviews. Rim is easily one of the best profs I've had. She explains so clearly and gives lots of material to practice. She is also incredibly kind and really wants you to succeed. I had to drop this class twice before because I didn't understand, with Rim I got an A. I can't recommend her enough!
Rim is a good prof, wants her students to learn and pass well. The assignments are critical to understand, since the midterm and final are very similar to them. It is a hard class, but Rim makes it slightly easier.
Honestly, she is a fine prof for me. I don't feel like that she is as good as everyone says and her classes can be boring and vague sometimes. In my class, many people stop showing up in her classes because she makes the class really boring and long, which is why many people prefer studying on their own since you can learn everything from Youtube.
She tried her best to explain course materials to students with many additional materials and questions in which you can see she put in a great effort. She was very helpful and nice.
I don't feel as though she is as good as everyone says, found the class disorganized and confusing to follow at times. Textbook is not useful, go to the DGDs.
She is a nice person, but her teaching is a little overhyped by others. She is the kind of prof who teaches by the book, which means that the course can be boring and some of the concepts are complex to understand. Generally, not a bad prof.
This was a difficult course. But she definitely made it better. She is very kind and helpful. Her midterm and her exam were fair. Basically, if you do book questions, attend DGD and do the practice problems that she gives after every chapter, you can get a great mark. We had many quizzes and 3 assignments as well which helped better your mark.
She explains the course materials well and responds to emails fast. Very nice lady!
Easily one of the best profs I've had. She makes a complex course easy to understand and helps you to get a good grade (drops your worst quiz grades). Midterm and final were fair, although somewhat challenging, and the 3 assignments were good grade boosters. She is also accessible by email and office hours if you have questions.
Pretty hard course but she makes it bearable. Really good at explaining, always willing to answer questions, and her exams/assignments reflect exactly what we do in class. Do practice questions and DGD and you should be fine.
I gave her a sick note 2 days prior to the exam and she specifically told me " there is no such thing as a sick note during Covid " that is just unbelievable, stay away from her
I'm not sure why there all these negative reviews but don't let them deter you! She's honestly a good, caring prof and a good person. She is accommodating and wants her students to succeed as much as possible. Assignments were difficult but she was there when you needed help.
Rim is a great prof and a very kind person overall. She makes classes engaging using polls and other interactive tools. Rim makes sure students know what to expect on the quizzes/test which is nice. Beware that business analytics can be quite hard, but if you practice and ask for help when you need it you'll do just fine
In my two years at uOttawa, Prof. Jaber has been by far my best teacher. She sets up videos you can watch before class to better understand and use class time efficiently to solve examples instead of just having them read their powerpoints. Her words of encouragement in every email/class are small things but really made me feel great to be there.
Pros: Her online classes were very interactive and interesting! She is very good at explaining difficult course concepts. Cons: Not able to gauge class abilities (midterm class average was a 54). Not very accessible outside of class hours---you have to wait a long time to ask a question during office hours.
Prof Jaber is a good prof, she explains things well and the course is structured well with quizzes every two weeks to make sure you stay on top of the material. However, the exams are very difficult and the marking scheme is quite unfair. The course is very heavy, there's always something due or something to study for. Good prof, bad marking.
Tough course overall. Focus on the assignments and take Mike Sinclair's review sessions as the midterm and final often have tricky problems which aren't really covered in the lectures. Didn't attend the dgds nor read the book. Prof Rim knows her stuff but the lectures can get quite dry and most people just stop attending class.
Honestly, she is a really great prof. The material of the course is a little difficult, however, as long as you go to all DGDs, lectures, participate lots, and practice, you'll be fine. Make sure to get to know the prof and ensure that the prof knows you because she can be really generous when it comes to participating and making an effort.
I had Jaber in the winter and she does not get enough credit. Yes the course is very hard but she does an AMAZING job explaining difficult concepts. The way the course is set up is extremely organized and the lectures are very interesting and engaging. If you work hard and ask questions with a prof like Jaber, you can do well.
Professor Jaber is very caring and really good at explaining a pretty difficult course. I suggest you go to class and do the DGD questions every week in order to do well in the course. Midterm and final were fairly difficult, but practice is key.
Course material is easy and very interesting, but assignments can be on the harder side sometimes. Lots of grading components (quizzes, assignments, midterm, final). She spends most of the lectures on examples but her teaching pace is VERY slow. Sometimes it feels like she's teaching to kids rather than uni students. Exams are SUPER long but easy
Prof Jaber is very good. The lectures can be slow pace but she does a good job articulating the content to her students. The exams (midterm and final) are both super easy which was nice, the assignments could get a little tricky but often just required critical thinking. Her quizzes where very simple and she only took 3/5 of them. Easy all around
I had her for Data Analytics. She doesn't consider that harder content takes more time to learn. She speeds through topics. 3 assignments will be due that are long and hard. They took me 5+ hours each. She gives quizzes every 2 weeks. If you struggle with math she won't make this class any easier for you. She will catch plagiarism no matter what!
i truly hate this class
Professor Rim Jaber is extremely good a teaching a difficult subject. This is a heavy course be prepared to participate in DGD and pay attention in class. Her first few courses may seem easy but dw it adds up.
She goes out of her way to make things harder than it has to be, if you can take the class with the French sections prof
avoid.
I found her classes to be really boring and slow. She is a really picky and tough grader
She is nice and reachable but her midterms and exams are so hard. The course is already hard but she makes it tougher and more complicated than it should be. She is also a really picky marker and takes marks off for silly things. Then her lectures are boring and slow. I would recommend take this class with another professor if you can.
Rim is a good prof, but sometimes the lectures were a bore and it was hard to retain information. The assignments were tough but graded easy. The midterm and final were fine if you had studied for them. She posts helpful videos before every class that teach you the material in simpler terms. Her classes are mostly examples.
Test are very difficult, and depending on the TA you get you can be screwed. Would not recommend class unless you need to take it
Her reviews are fake, she made the midterm and exam way harder and complicated, the questions were long and most times people were not able to complete all of the questions. I would recommend taking the class with another professor.
Nice lady she teaches very slowly however, I found her lectures to be boring. The DGDs for this class were great and I found attending those weekly was very helpful. Assignments were long but you could collaborate with other students and if you went to her office hours she would give lots of helpful hints.
Explains concepts simply and tries to engage students as much as possible during lectures. You can tell she cares and wants you to do well.
Professor Jaber is excellent for ADM 2302, she's a caring professor who will take her time to ensure you understand the concepts. It's also important to read ahead, as most if not all her lectures are just going over textbook/midterm problems, some of which have a high chance of being a midterm or final exam question.
Clear communication and lectures, but course material is heavy and precision to details is important. All lectures are only practice problems. Exams are written.
I love professor Rim! Her content on Brightspace is very organized, and she posts with youtube videos that explains the material thoroughly. If you don't go to class frequently, you will still be able to catch up with ease. Her assignments are a little hard, but overall the course is very fun and educational. Definitely my top professor and course!
I found her lectures to be quite helpful, but only if you study the material beforehand, and the dgds were always amazing, definitely go to those. For this course, I would say go to the lectures, because sometimes she doesn't post the in class solution on brightspace so you have to be there so get the solution.
Not the best at explaining things, but was online, it made things more difficult on her part. Good feedback if you go and see her.
Her teaching lacks clarity. You have to rely on DGDs and textbook to understand the material. I got a 90 on the first assignment but failed the midterm so I dropped. Assignments and midterm are complicated and nothing like what she "taught" in class. Online tests are also hard and often due the same weekend as assignments, which is unreasonable IMO
The class was hard but if you follow in class and go to the dgd it's pretty easy and the teacher gives lots of examples. The quizzes and assignments allow you to stay up to date with the content so the exams are not that hard to study for. Amazing teaching skills from her and her TA.
5 quizzes and takes the best 3, but the assignments are long and the DGD's related to the material tested on is posted only a few days before. Midterm was harder, the final is mostly old final questions. She does put effort and cares, but you have to go to class, because her solutions aren't posted on brightspace. You need to practice a lot.
You have to go to class since her solutions are not posted on Brightspace, and the textbooks is very outdated. The way to succeed is to practice a lot, and go to DGD's. The assignments were long and very Excel based, and the midterm was a bit harder. She is very accessible and does care, but not very understanding. All in all, good prof.
She is a great teacher but I struggled with the content. The assignments were quite long but I found the DGD's quite helpful. Get very comfortable with excel.
The class was challenging, but the DGDs and TA support were super helpful. Definitely attend lectures, as the solutions aren't always posted. For study prep, Unstuck study and the textbook were lifesavers.
Although the material in the course itself is very difficult, Rim was an excellent prof who made herself accessible 24/7 to help students. She mostly does practice in class, so learn the material (or have a broad understanding) beforehand. Exams are tough but similar to those from past years so use those as practice. MUST ATTEND LECTURES!!
One of the most amazing professors I have come across so far. She truly wants to see you succeed and makes that very clear all semester. The class itself is challenging but she tried her best to make sure everyone was on the same page. One of the only professors that doesn't zoom through slides & takes her time to explain the material in depth.
DO THE HOMEWORK QUESTIONS! If you teach yourself the content with the textbook and homework questions/solutions you will be fine! Make sure you understand the key concepts and show it on your exams because she will give you extra marks. The content seems very difficult at first but once you understand it and the question layouts you'll be fine.
She was a very excellent professor. Besides being a caring person, she was also great at teaching the content material. She taught slowly, but for a course most people found tricky, if anything, it's a good thing, especially to master the fundamentals. The most important thing is to show up to lectures and try doing the examples without help.
To pass this class, you MUST watch and take notes on the videos she posts relating to each topic, go to the DGDs, and know how to correctly solve the past midterm/final since they were similar. If you do not do your best on the midterm, do not be discouraged, as the post-midterm material is simpler (in my opinion), and the final was easier than it
Asked this professor for a revise on my exam and she reduced points. Class average was a 60. Not sympathetic or caring of students at all.
If you need to take this course, take it with her! Everything you need to study is all from her lectures, so as long as you go to class and watch the videos before class you'll be fine. The textbook isn't necessary as I only used it for the extra homework problems, but she also posts extra problem slides as well!
Shes very sweet. She helps all students and shes patient with all of them. although sometimes she over explained stuff. Preaching to the converted
She genuinely cares about her students and wants them to do well. She explains content well, so make sure you attend class. I definitely reccomend!
ADM 2302 was my fave class ever, and Rim made it so enjoyable. She starts each class with announcements, and her lectures are so hands-on and not just some professor yapping at you for 70 minutes. Take this prof. She is my fave.
Best professor at Telfer by far. She keeps the lectures entertaining and supplies you with endless examples to help you prepare for the exams. Posts so many ressources on her brightspace. Very caring towards her students.
She is so passionate! You'll do well if you practice, attend her classes, and make great use of all the resources she gives (i.e., discussion forums, DGDs, lecture examples). I think that this is one of the harder courses since math isn't my strong suit, but just try! On a side note, she's super fashionable, and I love how she carries herself:-)
Rim Jaber is a great teacher a caring person. Although I don't love BA, she made it so easy to follow. If you go to class and practice DGD problems, it's pretty easy. Assignments could be pretty long and always had 1 very tough question. Midterm was brutal (average of 52% I think?), but final was light work. Don't buy the book
every single person I know in that class cheated from each other in the assignments due to the fact she made them difficult- you'll have a better time using chatgbt to teach you rather than her lectures. would recommend another teacher
She loves giving out sample midterms/finals just to change the style of question come exam day. You get given your own formula sheet which is nice but then she makes the exam questions the toughest that she can get away with. Not the worst case scenario but I'd assume you can get a more "fair" professor.
