This was my second semester taking a class from her. Going to class is beneficial. Her lectures were more hands-on: resumes, networking, and interview prep. Most of the activities you do in class or for assignments are for getting jobs. There was no busy work. I was able to improve my resume and my LinkedIn profile to look more professional.

This class was much better than the 1000 level course I took with Studebaker. The in-person classes weren't super useful but the assignments were career relevant and help you realize areas for development. The only complaint I have is everything on Canvas including the grading gets funneled through the TA first, so I felt a disconnect there.

This is the second course I have taken from Professor Adamson-Schwisow, and they have both been great experiences. The courses are designed to help you get out of them what you need, while cutting out unnecessary fluff. If you care about your education and do the assignments, you will get an A.

This professor is really great and I would recommend taking this class with her because she teaches a lot of strategies of how to prepare for an interview, life lessons, and other things that are important in the field. She was very trustworthy and gives people the motivation to learn.

This class was very easy for the most part. There was a little more work than I anticipated for a one-credit class and a little difficult to complete as an online student since a few of the assignments required participation on-campus but if that is not an issue for you, then this class is great! The instructor is very accommodating.

She was a very knowledgable teacher, however the assignments were extremely tedious and time consuming. Sometimes the websites she used or assigned homework on did not work properly. The midterm should have been in a project style with more time to complete as it took me much longer than the 2 hours given.

I would say this professor is great for one reason. I felt there was a quick turnaround with a question with this professor. I felt that if I had a question about an assignment they could tell me almost right away or as soon as possible.

This class mainly focuses on guest speakers as well as a final project in which you create a slide-deck for an interview. A pretty easy class overall and as long as you complete the assignments, you will get an A.

I took this class online so I didn't get to connect with Rita, but the modules are super clear and straight to the point. Make sure you keep up with the assignments. A lot of the assignments require you to go to an event in person so be ready to do a lot of networking. A lot of homework, but most of it is reflections so it was not hard at all.

The online 3890 course is one I would take again if I could. Not only is this class fairly easy, but the work is enjoyable. No quizzes or final test. You're pretty much building your final project throughout the semester and the professor gives great feed back! If you need a stress-free class, take this one!!

This professor is very understanding and helpful. She is very light on the homework and only gives fairly easy assignments. We frequently did several activities that were fun, educational, and applied to what we were currently learning about. Despite not giving out a ton of homework, she has given out a ton of opportunities to earn extra credit.

This was a very helpful class that I would 100% recommend to anyone majoring in business, particularly Marketing, to take in their first or second year. Be prepared to do some networking, but in reality the class was fairly simple, without a ton of homework and with lecture videos being very useful.

Professor Adamson Schwisow likes to keep things clear and positive during her lectures. She does an excellent job at bringing in real world examples to the classroom and showing how to apply the principles being taught. Everything was laid out in a concise manner often times with examples that helped solidify what was wanted in the assignments.

The class and her teaching was very helpful in helping me learn more about different business careers. The class was set up a little weird as she had a co-teacher who had organized all the assignments on canvas. This caused some weird crossovers and confusion for a lot of us. She doesn't allow late work, but the assignments weren't too hard.

There are a lot of assignments in this class but they're all pretty beneficial long-term (LinkedIn, networking, etc.) This class is required for most business majors, and I'd 100% recommend this professor.

Class was pretty easy overall. I liked how chatGBT was encouraged rather than frowned upon. She seemed really nice and like she wants you to succeed. She has many connections to help in that aspect!

The biggest part she emphasized in this class was networking.She requires you to join an on campus club/ organization and go to a networking event. Both are genuinely helpful for your career. Rita is one of the best professors I've ever had. I learned some of the most valuable skills of any course I've ever taken. Attendance is not required, but you'll get your money's worth from showing up. Most assignments are started/finished in class.
