Her class is easy. She makes everything interesting. Her class is a piece of cake you just have to do whats on the syllabus and pass the lab tests and you pass. She speaks clear and even if you think she doesn't she does speak spanish.

I really learned a lot in her class. I took her twice and passed. I plan on taking her for ENC 1101. I recommend her if you are serious about learning.

Rita is not only an excellent professor but she's also hilarious and screams a lot (in a funny way) keeps you entertained in class with her daily stories of what goes on. She is a great teacher gives extra points whenever you need, she is really easy to pass just do all the labs... and don't come late to class or she'll scream at you :P

Good professor. She's very animated and keeps your attention. Textbook was barely used; for each writing assignment, she gives you 3 or 4 options out of the book and you choose which one you want to write. Easy A - as long as you make sure you follow directions. I'd recommend her.

The best English teacher you'll find on kendall campus. For one thing, she actually speaks English as her first language. Secondly you really have to be a moron to fail this class if that's even possible. Great Professor! She is super funny and sweet! The class is not hard at all. You have to write like 4 or 5 papers, which are easy subjects, and she gives you the guidelines. She gives you like 8 absences. I highly recommend her! I'm definitely taking her class for ENC1102.

Professor was great! Very funny and passionate her classes. Lab is good, but you need to make time for it. The homework is not bad. maybe 3 paper, the most a MLA format 5 par paper. This class does get a letter grade, you either fail or pass. I recommended.

Not a harsh grader, but she's very elaborate on what she wants on her assignments (she gets fussy when you don't give her what she wants); this translates to her being very helpful and specific if you need any help. You will probably be given several essays in the first couple months, but they're fairly easy. Definitely recommend her

This professor is very strict on how she wants assignments done in her class, so make sure to know what she expects of you. Expect to write papers (its an English class) and to do a group project (which was fun and interesting) and a debate. She's a great professor! I really enjoyed her my first semester of college

Most amazing teacher. She will stand there and reexplain if you didn't understand. She will use different examples until you get the concept. Tough grader because it's best for you. If you are absent for more than 3 classes you will basically fail. Other than that she is cool as hell! Only four assignments for ENC1101 which were papers. The only long paper is really the last one the first three are short. She gives you a format on exactly how she wants you to write it. Even what Info to put in each paragraph. Very easy

She's very rude and feels the need to always point out your flaws as if they determine how worthy you are as a person, not as a student. She can say some very mean things and if you have a fragile heart, or suffer from very severe anxiety (like I do), don't take her (this is coming from an A student). Other than that, she's an okay person.

This is a real college professor. She knows her stuff and helps students with everything especially grammar. She gets mad when students act stupid or don't do her assignments, but some people deserve it. Take her and you will learn. I'm taking her again for ENC 1102.

By far the best English class I have ever taken. This class is not an easy A, you must work for your grade but have no fear cause interesting topics are here. My last paper was on whether or not the Watchmen comics was better then the film and what was similar and different between the two. Honestly I'll recommend this professor in a heart beat.

Honestly best professor ever. She is funny and brutally honest which I think lots of kids at Dade need. She is a tough grader but if you work hard you will do ok. The last paper was honestly so cool. Writing a comparison paper on comics and its film was so interesting and definitely got me to WORK HARD. I did so well on that paper she still has it.

Loved her class. She will have you read short very interesting stories so be ready to volunteer to read. She will be asking questions on what parts were read. She had put us into groups and stayed with that group the entire course where we would submit one document per group with each of our questions. And flipgrid videos also were assignments.

Creative Writing was an amazing class! In the class, we work on Miambiance Magazine, the school's art and literature magazine, and your grade consists of your participation in class. We got to be part of the process of constructing a magazine. Be prepared for a fun and out-of-the-ordinary classroom experience with teamwork and lots of creativity.

This class was really fun not only to help me grow but also work alongside as if I was in a job. I thought it was a creative writing class, but we actually worked on the school magazine. Highly recommend this class.

Her CRW is the class that works on Miambiance literary arts magazine for the Kendall Campus, and this has genuinely changed my life. Ignore the 1-star reviews, as she's an amazing professor. If you need anything, you can talk to her after class and she'll help you with what you need. But I agree, get ready to pay attention and read, because you read a lot. However, she explains everything you need to know. You also work in groups btw, but yeah, I will recommend her 100%

This professor is highly knowledgeable and well-organized. At the beginning of the term, she provides all the resources and guidance needed to succeed, especially for writing strong MLA-formatted papers. Students who struggle typically don't follow instructions or pay attention to key details. She's also approachable and easy to communicate with.

A lot of group assignments. She is a great teacher and as long as you follow her (very easy) guidelines in the essays you'll pass. She does not like to repeat herself so make sure to listen and write down notes for the essays. No exams, there is a final project with an oral presentation. I personally enjoyed her class a lot.
