One of my favorite teachers. She makes class fun and enjoyable, and her material isn't so hard to follow! She even admits to not liking poetry also! She tries to make the class fit the students, not the other way around, which is great.

Very helpful, fun class. I love her personality and the laid back atmosphere.

An excellent professor. She gives examples of the types of essays and answers that she is looking for. She understands how students have a life outside of the school and always puts that into perspective. Dr. Kronis does actually care about her students.

Don't like English but she made it easy. Whenever I had a hard time she would help me out, very nice, a little hard on grading. If you want to pass then she is the teacher to take.

Dr. Kronis is a wonderful professor. She helped me improve my writing skills significantly. Assignments and in-class work was always fun. Grading is always fair. I stongly recommend this professor.

Teacher was great for Comm 1, fun research paper and generally easy. She seems to always pick a 'favorite' for each class, which sucks if your not it. When I took her for comm 2 she seems a little angrier, maybe something happened or she just was frustrated but her attitude totally changed around me.

She is the best professor I've had so far. Her class is so easy its not even funny. Not to mention she lets class out usually 10-15 minutes after it starts. She gives you examples for all of her assignments, so all you really ever have to do is copy the examples. You seriously have to be the laziest person on earth to not get an A in her class.

Dr. Kronis is the best teacher I have ever had. In fact, I've taken 3 of her classes (Comm 1, Comm 2, and British Lit) and I am actually kind of sad that I have run out of classes to take with her. She will always be one of those teacher that I visit even though I'm not taking one of her classes. She really cares about her students ALOT!

A very good teacher. She outlines her expectations clearly. No surprise assignments. However, don't fall behind. It's very hard to catch up. Keep up the pace, do the work, and you should get a decent grade.

very nice, accepts late work, gives examples for EVERYTHING, makes sure you completely understand how to write your papers...doesn't grade too hard, lets class out early, and has an upbeat personality.

Communications 1 was very easy, the whole class is basically writing essays.

This is my favorite teacher at BCC. If you have not taken your english classes she is the teacher for you. She tells and shows exactly what she expects from you and her assignments are fun. Almost everyone in my com 2 class had her for com 1 that tells you something.

Dr. Kronis is a very helpfull instructor. She is always well prepared and grades fairly. She doesn't give much extra credit, but it isn't needed. She gives several small assignments and her finals are very easy. Highly Recommended!

Kronis is awesome. The one and only problem I had with her, was that her gradings seem to flex a lot. Never write about serious stuff, always tell stories in your papers. She wants something interesting rather than the typical professor. She lets you out really early!

She IS a great teacher and person. She doesn't hand out excessive amounts of homework and gives you plenty of time to complete the assignments she does give. She is big on discussing in groups. I wish I would have taken HER for Comm 1.

Dr. Kronis is definitely my favorite teacher at BCC. She was extremely clear and very thorough. I gained a lot from being in her class. Don't take this class if you plan on not applying yourself. She is what a teacher should be.

Dr. Kronis is the best. I was an international student (ESL) and she helped me sooo much! She took time after classes to help me with my writing. Not only she helped me with my writing/English but she made me believe in myself and today I am where I am a lot thanks to her.

She's so clear. She tells you exactly what she expects. The grading scale is fair. She's a sweet lady. There's always an example essay. She'll give you two weeks to write an essay that probably only takes one night. Amazing teacher. I plan on taking her for Comm 2 next semester :)

My favorite teacher at BCC! ALL of her assignments come with several examples so you know exactly what she is looking for. Pay attenion and follow directions and you will get an A.

This class had a lot of busywork. There are 3 in-class essays to write and she strongly encourages the 5-paragraph elementary style writing. There are a lot of questions at the end of each story to answer as well. The final project is a bit of a pain though as she randomly assigns you to a group of students that most likely you do not know.

This was a really good class. I liked Dr. Kronis a lot, and wished I had taken her for Comm 1. Her grading criteria was really, really strict though, mostly on the timed writes. She didn't assign too much homework though...

The first week into her class, we did a creative writing essay.Then the following class we got them back. I didn't like how she singled-out the "best writers".It kind of made me feel a little discouraged. Other than that, her outline is very clear and she shows you exactly how she wants you to write your "timed essays".

She was an amazing teacher. I had her for Comm 1 and 2 and she helps whenever you need it, gives plenty of heads up when assignments are do, and gives examples on how assignments should be done. Shes fun and as long as you do your work, and are willing to ask questions when things are not clear its an easy A

Dr. Kronis is awesome. I took her for Composition 1 & 2 and got A's in both. If you don't do well, ask for help. Be polite and put effort in and she will do her best to help you. Very sweet and truly cares about her students.

Dr. Kronis is by far the best professor I've ever had. She's smart, organized, helpful, and easy to understand. I took her Communications 1 and 2 classes, and my writing improved significantly. Yes, she does assign quite a bit of writing. However, she also provides multiple example and clear directions for each assignment. She's awesome!!

She gives an awful group essay. She also gives a lot of assignments back to back and over loads you at times. Her teaching style was decent, she conveyed her messages pretty well. I wouldn't say she is as easy as some people are saying. Not the worst but not the best.

She's a tough lady, but I really liked her. She gives a lot of handouts and she grades like you're pursuing a major in English. Lol she can be humorous, but she looks serious all the time. She will help you if you ask, but she WON'T do your work for you. If you want to improve your writing, she will definitely push you there.

After reading the reviews that other people have put out for Dr. Kronis, I felt like I had taken the wrong class! Dr. Kronis is super helpful, clarifies everything, and will let you turn in things very late! She was very kind to me and never called out my grades, as others have said. She is a hard grader but she made me a MUCH better writer.

Dr. Kronis is one of the best professors I've had at EFSC. I took her Comm 1 and 2 class and wish I could take more! She is SUPER nice and helpful. There isn't too much writing and she gives examples for every assignment. Her class was my favorite class I've taken by far. She's very organized and explains everything. Take her class, thank me later.

She's not really easy, but she will teach you how to write well. Be respectful in class, follow her directions, use the example essays and you will get an A. She expects effort on your part. She won't pre-grade papers but she will happily answer specific questions. If you have major problems, go to the writing lab.

Dr. Kronis seems intimidating at first because of all of her strict directions but she is really a sweetheart. If you can read and follow her directions, you will do fine in the class. She explains exactly what she is looking for and gives example papers for every assignment. She focuses on clarity and good writing habits rather than creativity.

LOVE HER. The best professor I've had. She does grade tough, but she will help you and pull you aside to explain how you can improve. Truly wanted to help me pass, honest and will work with you. I wish there were more professors like her. Interacts with the class & has a good personality. Definitely take her class.

I know Dr. Kronis has not gotten great reviews but you have to take these reviews with a grain of salt. I thought she was an excellent teacher. She had a clear outline of what was expected, offered help throughout the semester, and was just an overall nice professor. If you complete the work, there will be no problem passing.

AMAZING!! I have learned so much from Dr. Kronis and I wish I could have her as my professor again. I had her for both composition 1 and 2. She is very clear about what she expects and likes to keep on schedule. Prepare to write quite a bit, but even if you hate writing she is still accommodating and helpful. Also always answer emails.

She's really straight forward, and although her classes aren't easy A's, they're somewhat easier than with other professors. Overall, a great professor. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Kronis is an alright professor. She is willing to discuss your papers with you, and help out with any questions. She does like to talk about herself a lot and will say she doesn't pick favorites but she totally does. She is tough grader but if you follow the directions closely you should do alright. She also gives a lot of extra credit.

I took Dr. Kronis for Comp 2 and I loved her. gave wonderful feedback, easy to assess out of class, quick to respond to her emails. A very warm, kind, genuine teacher. I'd recommend her to anyone!

She's by far my favorite professor. It's not an easy class, and there's plenty of homework and whatnot, but she's very clear and straight forward with her instructions. If you be honest with yourself and try in her class, you will get an A. She's always willing to help you during her office hours. I loved her class.

I love Dr. Kronis and will definitely be taking her for com 2. She was extremely sweet and as long as you can write at a 5th grade level and learn from her you'll pass most likely with an A. If you're having trouble she will sit and help you until you understand even if it takes the whole class period. Overall a sweet lady and great teacher.

This is the best professor ever if she taught more classes I would not even hesitate to register in every single one of them. Shes amazing at explaining things and has fun assignments. I stayed after class all the time and asked questions and she was so helpful. She allows extra credit and lets you even rewrite papers sometimes. She is great.

Even as a serial procrastinator I would find myself being done with assignments days before due date. She provides ample time to work on projects and sets you up for future success. Take her where possible.
