She explianes everything clearly and thouroughly. I highly recommend her for this class.

Her tests are reasonable and her classes are interesting.

I took Stats with Dr. Lindsay and she goes over the lecture quickly but she is open to questions and more than happy to assist you after class or during office hours. I highly recommend her for anyone that is a poor math student.

I took her for Plan Trig, it was an easy class! I passed with an A and she is very helpful, and will do anything for you to pass. I highly recommend her

Mrs.Lindsay is a good teacher but very fast when she teach.She review before test & quizzes and she always remind you when it gonna come. the test are straight forward and comes off the chapter you would learn.she give easy extra credit points but u always have to show the work if you want the points. i would recommend you to take her for MAT 1033.

Took class online, I should have taken it in the classroom. Very challenging and she did not offer extra credit. She offers words of encouragement but not much else. She did lay everything out clearly and she gives prompt replies. If you have problems with math I would not recommend internet course.

Dr. Lindsay thoroughly covers course materials. Her test and quizzes are similiar to examples discussed in class and textbook homework problems. (Some IDENTICAL). She uses an active process in her teaching strategy so expect to be called on at random. It helps in the long run.

Attend class! She is a great professor and listening to her lectures is the best thing you can do. The notes she hands out are great as well. Her tests are a bit tough and sometimes tricky. Attend class, take notes, do the Wiley assignments, and review for the tests you will be just fine.

This class was pretty easy. Dr. Lindsay was a good teacher. She gave us typed notes that helped a lot and she told us exactly what would be on the test. :)

Statistics online is rough, but the layout of this class makes it SO much easier. She is very responsive to questions and makes all requirements clear. I would definitely recommend for an online class

Just do the assignments, follow the directions, take the quizes and put the time in. You will need to spend many hours on this, especially if it's an online class. The Professor will help you if you need it. She is understanding and accomodating. But you get out what you put in plain and simple.

I did not have any problems. Math does not come easy to me wthout putting in many hours of work. Go to the textbook website and print the solutions. When you get stuck, you can quickly find the step by step help you need. Dr. Lindsay will help you if you need it. She is understanding and willing to work with you.

Everything was very straight forward from the book. Took the class online in summer2. Wasn't as hard as I thought, just read through the text book and do the wiley hw and you should atleast get a B. I got a B+, if she offered a LITTLE xtracredit i would have gotten an A ! i recommend her, her tests had a lot of definition more than math

She's awesome. Go to class and do the online stuff and you'll do at least fine. Know the study guides and ask her questions! I'd recommend her to anyone.

Easily one of the best math teachers on campus. Homework is all online. Book work homework is assigned, but not graded. It is, however, a very useful study tool. She teaches from study sheets and very rarely through the book. Tests are very fair.

I've taken two Math courses with her (STA2023 and MAC1105). I wish she taught all of my classes. My favorite professor, hands down. She loves being there and answering questions for students. Provided awesome study resources to the students and make sure everybody knew what they were doing. LOVED her classes.

Dr. Lindsay is a very helpful and dedicated teacher. She always takes time for her students. There was a lot of homework in the class but it was very easy with unlimited attemots to complete it. Tests are easy as well. She gives may opportunities to receive extra credit. I would reccomend her to anyone and plan on taking her again for STA 2023

Her lectures can be pretty boring, and there's a moderate amount of homework to keep up with so you're not completely lost. Other than that, if you study - you'll definitely be able to pull off the A (which is good, considering this is COLLEGE now and we can't get away w/o studying like we could in HIGH SCHOOL). She's always willing to help, too.

Excellent professor! She takes the time to teach math and answer questions. She is also very kind and patient and an overall super person. I would recommend her classes to anyone, whether you are good at math or if you hate it. She's one of the best at IRSC!!!

I took this class online. The teacher is great, I will definitely take her again if she teaches any other subjects. Statistics is hard when it comes to the words but the math parts are simple. I loved the teacher she is nice, helpful and responds back pretty quick!

Great professor. Offers lots of extra credit. Just attend each class, and do the (not graded) homework for extra practice. Very nice and patient.

i took this class online and passed with B. She respond very quickly to emails. Her test consist mostly Vocabulary. if you complete every assignment you should pass the course.

Took Professor Lindsay's class online. Stat is difficult so only take it online if you are 100% self obedient. Professor was really helpful and easy to get a hold of. I highly recommended her. The math classes themselves are NOT easy, so don't expect a grade handed to you. If you put the necessary studying in, you will get a good grade.

Had her for online Elementary Statistics. The class itself is tricky, but she is always available, very helpful, and will take however long it takes to get you to understand. Probably one of the best online professors I have had. I definitely recommend this professor.

Dr.Lindsay is a fantastic professor. She will take extra time to help you if you do not understand certain material. She explains things well and she genuinely wants her students to succeed.

I liked Ms. Lindsay. Statistics is not an easy class, but she teaches well and her tests are alright. She's ALWAYS available when you need it and will stay to help until you understand it.

Dr.Lindsay is a great teacher to take in person. She will take her office time to sit and work on homework and quizzes (done on Wiley-Plus, which sucks. full of errors) and even correct the things you got wrong if needed. Extra credit was offered about 3 times (5pts each). Scranton needed for test. My only complaint would be the rowdy students.

I am a dual enrolled high school student and I took Dr. Lindsay online and did not have any problems. She answered emails quickly, graded tests in a timely fashion,and the Wiley Plus was not bad. I am not strong in math and currently have an A. You must be self-motivated and willing to work hard. I would take her again! :)

Took online in summer. Dr Lindsay laid all expectations and due dates out 1st. able to work at own pace, no surprises. 3 exams, and works with you if anything comes up. Wileyplus: Bought access using code she provided for $50 and did fine. HW and quizzes take time, so plan according. Would take her again. GREAT!

Took this class online, each assignment allows you 3 chances to get the answer right for full credit. Do the assignments and discussions because they are easy A's and she DOES NOT offer any extra credit whatsoever. Emails from her seemed to be in a rude matter-of-fact tone so I avoid them. Read the book, do the work, you'll get an A or B.

This class is ok if you keep up with homework... don't be stupid and do the homework AFTER you take the test. Lindsay is nice but I didn't find the lectures terribly helpful. I think we just went a little too fast for me to get all the vocab. Stats is pretty wordy so just be prepared for that. She's really nice though and is willing to help.

This was my 3rd semester taking Dr. Lindsay, she is a great and positive person. The only thing is the work load...I would have to spend 3+ hours on each of the homework assignments and quizzes. This isn't her fault however, the work load is what's required. She's a great teacher, I would recommend her to anyone!

Although this class was not easy or a subject I cared for, Dr. Lindsay was super helpful during the whole process! I was hoping for a B, but with her help and the materials she gives, I got an A! Super helpful, nice, and makes things clear. Yes there is a lot of work, but this is college. I would definitely recommend and take her again!

Class was pretty simple--read the chapters, learn the material, pass the class. I took it online and that meant teaching myself, which is fine by me. If you feel like you'll need guidance, DO NOT DO IT ONLINE. Tests and final are easy as long as you brush up on all the chapters it covers. I hate math but I actually loved this class.

Easy to understand and would bend over backwards. She knows that she teaches college level classes and makes you learn things for yourself.

She's really nice, beginning of the semester the lessons were easy, but towards the end it was very hard. She's sort of clear on certain lessons, take notes, do homework, and she does give some extra credit points.

It was my first online class. I had to put the effort into reading the book and learning the problems. It was a challenge, but she does curve some of the test.

Took stats with Dr. Lindsay and she was very clear with the layout of the class. If you want to learn, she will do everything you can to ensure you are ready for the exams. If you are struggling in her class, I highly recommend that you speak with her after class and let her know. Nothing but good things to say about her.

Dr. Lindsay goes out of her way to provide materials to help students succeed. She was very clear about everything throughout the course and even offered extra credit, not something often found in math courses. I really enjoyed this class.

Shes great! I was getting ready to fail and she told me not to give up. Ended up with a pretty good grade. Take your time, take notes.

I love this class so much. The professor gave us opportunities to improve our grade. I read somewhere that we shouldn't take this class online since it would be hard, but I would have to disagree on that. Do the study guide, read over the textbook, make sure to do the chapter practices & quizzes, and you'll be fine on the 4 exams!!

Taking this class online was very hard. I am not "statistical-minded" and I was nervous about this class. Dr. Lindsay was very helpful, responded to questions quickly. Posted extra videos to help us understand. She wants to see you succeed and will help you do so. To take this class online you must be prepared for a lot of reading.

Great Professor! I am one of those people that LOVE math, but this course was a bit difficult. I felt like there was a lot of information in a short period of time. There are so many different formulas, fortunately a packet of them is given to you during testing, so you just have to remember how to input the info.

She is very clear about what she expect out of class. It's a lot of homework, studying, and reading, but its was an easy math class. I enjoy her class. She explain everything so clear and make sure you understand everything. practice tests, self-review, and study guide she gives in class is great help to get prepare for class.

Online was tough but manageable, ECHO recordings were essential. The tests were on 2 chapters with homework and at home quizzes due with each chapter due a week apart. Tests were difficult only because of the software used, you couldn't change answers after you went to the next question. No midterm or comprehensive final. A lot of formulas.

Excellent teacher, terrible material. She literally gives you everything you could need to succeed in this course. You must put in the work to comprehend it, but she gives you so many resources. ECHO lectures, handouts, powerpoints, hw, and quiz for each chapter. Very helpful. Test heavy. Drops a test and some hw/quizzes.

Unfortunately I had a sub most of the semester because of her family troubles. But she would stay after class and help me whenever she could. Tests are not too hard and she helps with homework. I am not good at math and I thought this class was pretty easy.

I took this online and never got to meet Prof Lindsay in person, but I wish I had! I wasn't succeeding much in my online class, and she was very understanding with my struggling, and that's very important. However, to succeed, you must be very self-motivated and diligent with your study schedule! A lot of work to get an A on those tests.

Dr. Lindsay cares a lot about her students and whether or not they understand the material. I didn't understand a subject and she gave me a little mini lecture after class just to make sure I was on the right track. She can be flexible and if you need anything, send her an email and she'll respond with haste. Following along the packets is helpful.

Fairly difficult course. It initially wasn't clear which material would be on the exam, and some of the fact-based questions I did not expect. By exam 2 I figured out you needed to understand everything on the study guide (quite lengthy), then I started succeeding. Simply doing the homework will not suffice. The professor is quite nice.

She provides a lot of notes and lectures to help her students. She will work with you until you understand. This class is hard and requires a lot of effort. But she makes it as easy as she can to make sure you pass. She gives one homework and one quiz a week. Then a test every 3 chapters. Shes very sweet and caring.

She is amazing she's willing to help you understand. If I didn't take her I don't think I would have passed the class. I recommend her 100 percent as a STAT teacher.

Took in Summer A, she is caring and nice, responds fast. The material is a bit challenging. I went to the ASC lab bc I like how the tutors teach. There was a lot of hw for each chapter, hw was 20-30 questions, and there were 9-11 chapters. Each set of chapters had a quiz so like 4 total. If you put in the time and effort, you will be all good.

Great Professor. My mistake was taking this class in a mini semester (6weeks). I work full time and have a young child but the Professor works with you. Once you put in the work and communicate with her you will pass. Pint the guided notes out and watch the lectures, they really help. Take advantage of all the resources that she and IRSC provides.

Not going to lie, this class requires work. Be prepared to really pay attention and put effort into learning material in class and outside of it. However, Dr. Lindsay was great. I went to her multiple times in her office outside of class time and she was very helpful. I also went to the ASC lab, Everett helped there tons.

I took an online class. She is really helpful and easy to contact and has videos to help with the material. It's not overly difficult, it's just a lot of work. You have many late passes you can redeem for almost full credit. She will gladly help you with anything. All tests are through Honorlock, but not difficult. I recommend this professor.

Honestly the class was super easy. Just watch videos and fill out guided notes that help with homework. only two homeworks and a quiz per module as well as an easy discussion board post. Class is not hard to get an A in as long as you put in the work (which is not much )

Professor Lindsay is one of the best professors I've had at IRSC. In this online course, she had some of the videos on some of the questions. Whenever I saw those videos, they really helped. At the end of the class, I did poorly on the final. She worked with me to help me end the class with an A, which she didn't have to do. Highly recommend.

Professor Lindsay is awesome she gives extra credit 3 points for watching the review and she also let our final replace our lowest test grade wich is great very good teacher best math teacher I've had and I'm usually pretty bad at math.

Dr. Lindsay was a great teacher! I spent about 1-3 hours a week in her office getting extra help with homework problems or prepping for tests (Note: I'm not good at math). She always made herself available and was very helpful outside of class. The lectures were not as helpful for me so her explaining outside of class made a big difference!

Dr. Lindsay makes statistics easy to understand. If you take the course online, not only do you have the ability to learn via the department-wide lectures, but Dr. Lindsay uploads her in-class lectures, as well. She is responsive, gives great feedback, and genuinely cares about her students.

Im not math savvy so I was concerned about this course - However Dr. Lindsay made it all possible for me to pass the class. She was quick to answer any of my questions and she gave excellent feedback, gave extra credit, and was very caring about students passing the class.

Dr. Lindsay has been the best math professor I have ever had. I love her teaching technique. She cares about her students and will find the time to help you if you're struggling in her class. I highly recommend taking her.

The professor is responsive and very communicative. The videos are very heavy in that they are 2-3 hrs. long, so you need to break them up in smaller sessions to be able to learn and understand. A few EC here and there.

awesome, the homework is alot but like its like every week sometimes 2 so its not really that bad. plus u have unlimited retrys the quizes are just like the hw so those were easy. tests are muttiple choice thank god. if u watch the videos u dont even need to read the text book but the videos are like 3 hrs long so idk she chill and nice

She's great! Super supportive, friendly, and will help whenever you are struggling. You can always ask her anything. The course is tough though, so good luck with that.

Took in 6 weeks so lectures were full of material. Tests are multiple choice and offers ec if you watch the reviews. Amazing teacher, passionate about what she does. Answers emails daily quickly. Homework and quizzes are plentiful but they help prepare for the tests. Would take again!

This class is well organized to students. Lectures are clear. Communication with students is good. All tests are proctored, but they are multiple choice, so fairly easy to do if you put in the work. Very little to complain about. Would recommend for those needed elementary stats class.

She is very caring and understanding if you need help or have a problem. She gives unlimited attempts on homework and quizzes. She gives extra credit on tests for completing the practice test the night before and she scores tests by the work not just accuracy. The final test can replace one of your lowest test grades if you end up scoring higher.
