KINGERY IS AWESOME!!! I would reccomend her to anyone. I am an accounting major and I was VERY prepared for Cost Accounting. Regardless, she is hilarious, very helpful, one of the best professors in the program. Anyone who says otherwise is a dumbass. :)

Best teacher to take for this course, no matter what, it's a hard course, she makes it not so boring and is hilarious. If u have to take Acct 207/208 take it with Kingery

class is just generally hard as hell but she wants you to understand. do the homework, it really does pay off; stay on top of things. overall good teacher but was praying for a C at the end of the semester (which i got!).

The only way she could go slower to teach only half of the material in the textbook. This is a hard class in general, you must keep up with yoru work. You might as well get the basic now than later. For those who just want an easy A, go somewhere else pls

i had to take 207 with van leer twice! she was way better and wants you to do well. take her at the wilmington campus and you dont have to do as much homework. material is tuff so you have to stay on top of things. i got a B with 75% effort. she rocks!!

really tough course no matter who you take. another prof made all the tests when I took this course and had a lot of material that Kingery never covered. She's fair and nice. You just have to do your work if you want to pass.

tough class because there is so much material to cover. she moves quick but has no other choice. really cares about the students, gives extra credit and actually keeps you awake during class.

Easy class. Just go and you will do good. test are tough so you must study for them prior to the night before if you want an A.

Tests are challenging but doable. The best way to study is to do the homework and read her handouts. Class is boring..she needs to find a more interesting way to teach besides just reading her handouts...I can do that by myself. She tries to suck up before she hands out the evaluations

Very helpful teacher, does her best but subject is extrememly boring. Has mood swings so stay clear if she has had a bad day, otherwise worthwhile waiting for her if you do the work and pay attention!

SO MUCH BETTER THAN DRAGONE. I can not stress that enough. Had Dragone for 207 and she was horrible. Kingery actually wants you to do well. She makes her own tests so there's nothing surprising on there. Teaches only basic ideas and does not go too in depth.

Material is complicated, but she gives out tons of bonus pts and easy quizzes. Should be an easy B. Gotta work hard for an A.

Tough class but great teacher. Go to office hours if you need help--she really wants you to do well. Go to class, study for exams days in advance--its a ton of material at a quick pace but there's no way around that.

If you 'show your face' and let her get to know you, it will pay off. 100/500 points of the class she decides, so if you put the work in it will definitely pay off. Keep up with the work or else it will catch up to you VERY quickly.

She is completly different in 208 than in 207. I understand or do well in 207 with her. I was affraid I wouldn't be ready for 208 with someone else so I took it with her. Got an A in the class. Maybe teachers arn't lying when they say to read the book...

She is a really corny professor, she gives you notes to follow along in class, and as long as you add some notes, read the book, and most importantly do the HW she assigns!!!! Questions are taken directly from the HW. She is overall the best choice for 207, Dragone's exams are a lot harder. i would recommend for 207 but not 208-take vanLeer

very intimidating at first, but it was very helpful that she FORCES you to stay up with your work to get a good grade. worth it in the end!

Very old school - notes handed out, but you must follow along and add margin notes. Gives good in class problems and sample exam questions right in the notes she hands out. She is like a mother hen, constantly sending out emails to help you, offer help, guidance. Overall, I think her style of teaching is good - take advantage of it & don't skip.

It's a hard class. Her exams are difficult, and people say she's the hardest of the professors teaching the course this semester. You have to study but she teaches it well and you will remember what she teaches. Anyone saying she is not a nice person or not conserned probably just failed. Take her especially if ACCT is your major

She is very condescending and the class requires an insane amount of work. Take this class if you plan on spending all of your free time doing busy work.

shes an alright teacher, her chapter notes are pretty good but its important to do keep up with homework and not just copy the hw answers. tests aren't easy, but they help a lot when everyone takes the same final.

I had Rita for 207 and 208. She's not the best, but she's not the worst. Her tests can be tricky, even if they are multiple choice. Her handouts can be helpful, but doing hw problems is essential. It's not the end of the world if you get her, but you might want to see who else is teaching 207 and 208.

Go to class and you will do fine. Kingery is a good teacher and you shouldn't have a problem getting an A in the class. Easy A if you put in a little effort.

Great teacher. Had her for 207 and 208 and I know everything about accounting. Very nice teacher with a large amount of extra credit offered. The final is a breeze because she prepares students so well. Some work is required for an "A", but she is willing to help anyone along the way. Highly recommend for business majors, especially accounting.

She prints out a lot of work sheets so the book is not needed for studying. Even if your lazy, you will get a C- in the class without working too hard. Exams are kind of hard, but the final is usually very easy. She is very helpful and accepts late work.

If you are an accounting major i would highly reccomend her. I learned so much this semester. Her tests are fair but hard. She teaches more material than the other classes cover. You will work very hard during the semester but the final will be a breeze thanks to her preperation. Deffinatly take if accounting is your major.

Rita is crazy but in a good way. She is a fantastic instructor; the class itself is pretty hard because it requires reading, studying, and doing homework. Getting an "A" is very possible. Course work can really boost your grade cause you can easily get a 100% for it. Definitely the best 207 instructor and the final is so easy. Handouts really help.

She teaches from her handout that she has you print before every class. She skips a fair amount of material and expects you to learn it yourself. I found her really boring and I taught most of the material to myself from the textbook. She offered extra credit and HW points and I ended up with a B in the class despite a much lower test average.

Rita is helpful and gives ample opportunity for extra credit. Course was pretty easy and Wiley+ can teach you everything you need to know.

Had her for both 207 and 208. Definitely take Rita for both. She's the best one and the final will be easy for 207/208 after you take her class. With a little work you can get an A in both classes.

i really like her. i took another teacher's acct207 which is terrible, and make me upset. it is kingery who gives me the confidence. after taking her course. i know that accounting is not hard and i can handle it. what she taught is quite clearly! what she will test is just on the notes and similar to the problems she did in class! a great teacher.

Kingery is a really good teacher. She truly cares about her students and wants you to do well. She puts all the notes on sakai. Just print them and bring to class to take notes on. Class problems are exactly like online homework. The class is by no means easy, but if you go to class and ask questions, its not impossible to do well. extra credit too

had her for winter, one of the best ever had at UD. friendly and helpful to students, explains contents clearly. text is important, definitely do handouts and problems. should be an easy A if you put some effort into it.

This class was very well-taught. Accounting isn't generally considered hard, but she gives very clear lectures, a fully detailed course outline from the start, and assigns a decent amount of homework. The homework and practice tests directly translate to the exams, and if you study and pay attention, an A is easy to achieve. Take her for Acct208

Rita is fabulous! Accounting in general hard to understand at first, but she gives homework and many in class examples to help you understand! Also gives online homework and quizzes which are easy and help you at the end of the semester. You can get a C on each test and still wind up with a B if you do extra credit! TAKE RITA

STAY AWAY! THE OTHER TEACHERS ARE FAR BETTER. Shes a nice lady and all and will try to help you but the other teachers are far better and give far less work.

Albeit she provides hundreds of pages of typed notes, they are actually very useful if you print them out and organize them properly. She doesn't spend enough time actually going over concepts, but rather uses that time for clicker questions. She can come across as mean in class, but in smaller review sessions she is approachable and helpful.

Had her for winter session and she was fantastic. Great notes- made it easy to learn the material.

She is great. She gives us pleaty of extra points.It is easy to get a good grade eventhought you didn't do well in exam.

She's a great teacher. It really isn't a hard class. I got straight Cs on the exams and ended up with a B in the class. She gives a lot of extra point with clickers so be sure to go to class to get those. She's an all around nice person.

This is simply a tough course, and she does a decent job of trying to make the class doable. Lots of clicker points, so class is good to go to. Exams are very difficult which is why classwork is worth so much. She does really care and does everything she can to help. Decent professor, but don't expect an easy grade.

Rita is fantastic! Definitely take this class it it very possible to get that A! I think she is very helpful and makes everything really easy to understand in lecture. Please take her she is amazing and if you put in the work you will do just fine.

Although this was a tough class for me, she had many easy opportunities to get extra credit. Her lectures were handed out as note which was very helpful. A TON of clicker questions. Her exams were really hard. I did not like her so much as a person but I respected as a professor because she had us practice so much until we got it all down
