Took this course during Winter Session online. There is no interaction on BB. You use an ebook & website to submit assignments. We had 6 assignments, 2 exams and a cumulative final. The textbook was helpful to fill in the blanks or practice problems. The professor was available via e-mail and replied within a reasonable period.

Wonderful professor! I took Prof. Shamuilova in both MAT 105 and MAT 141. Her grading is fair and straightforward. Exams are fair because they consist of questions very similar to homework and practice tests. She also gave us many extra credit opportunities. Friendly person who responds to emails in a timely manner.

I was never good at Math in high school, like I remember I used to get 60's and 70's and but this professor made the subject so fun for me that I got 90's and 100's on her exams and on her finals. She is a wonderful teacher who explains math using her own steps rather than going based off of the textbook. You get the chance to receive tons of extra credit. Rita was the best math teacher that I have ever taken in my life. She not only cares about her students but every time you participate you receive points towards your exams. So the more you participate the more extra points you have towards your exams. Only 3 tests and the final exam, just study the review sheet and you will be just fine.

The homework was all online so make sure you answer all the questions quickly before it piles up at the end. Always print out the packets as they will help you study and so will the review days where she informs the class really well on what to do expect. Any student that enrolls in a calculus class must understand and accept that they will be challenged. This isn't an easy class, but the class itself should never be used to define the professor. I took this class in the Spring 2022 semester and I have no complaints. She is caring and does her best to teach such a high-level class.

Although she is a great professor, this is still a difficult course. She'll help you as much as she can, if she sees that your working hard to understand the material, but you still have make to sure to work hard and study before each exam.

As long as you looked at the course materials and did the homework, you'll pass with a good grade. It was challenging but not too difficult and not too easy. I learned a lot over the quick summer course.

I took this course over the summer as an asynchronous class and I loved it. All I had to do was go to MyMathLab and complete the assignments required, as well as two exams. There were textbooks available on the website to read, but you can finish the work with the examples provided. The professor is easily accessible through their email as well!

Great Professor. She made pre-calc understandable but since math isn't my strong suit I still struggled but nonetheless she will help you when you're having trouble with a topic.

Professor Shamuilova can be a bit uneven, but if you engage with her class, she's actually pretty helpful. The online format works well, and tools like unstuck AI can be great for study prep.

Rita is an amazing professor. Her exam review is exactly like the exam; same format but different questions. All the questions are exactly like the previous problems and questions we did on webassign or in-class. She goes over homework/any questions we may have. Just be prepared to study and practice problems for calculus. She lectures w/o slides.

I took her last semester and because of how amazing she is, I took her again. And I'm not the only student who did that, more than half of the class did. This shows how great of a teacher she is. Aside her amazing teaching skills, she has a vibrant personality. If anyone says otherwise, it means they were either lazy or did something disrespectful
