The guy is out of his mind, but he's funny as hell. Wears the same outfit every class, always has a 7up Big Gulp. Teaches alot of stuff you don't need to know so if you understand the basics you'll do fine.

The Doranimal, as many of us like to call him, is the man...he's very anti-intellectual, which is good. Even though he likes to bash people in class and talk about blowing up casinos that refuse to count 00 as an odd number in roulette, he is the best.

Doranimal is an amazing teacher. He is one of the smartest professors at RU, but understand not everyone is quite so good at math. He has the ability to break it down and is very understanding of Non-math majors.

Doranimal is the man. He is the coolest guy, teaches very well, and lets everyone out early all the time. You definitely want to take stats with this crazy ****.

Major Weirdo!!! Very very very smart, but unreliable. He showed up 30 mins late for an exam and said he checked himself out of a hospital and that he was going right back. You might not learn as much, but youll get a good grade.Good teacher overall

Great teacher @ the beginning of the semester makes students feel comfertable. Lets you out early often. Overall he's a good teacher, and I recommend him.

Always late, exam times were always moved around, had to wait months for grades back, cancelled class without notice....and he was still the best teacher I've had at Rutgers. Between the hair, the warm-up suit and the Big Gulp, he's a character.

Greatest teacher at RU. No matter what he said it would always make you laugh.he quoted the phrase "Fat man in a little room." Other than that gave the most reasonables grades. DORANIMAL!!!!!

this class was a joke....the material taught was a joke....he is the craziest and funniest prof everwith a real bad hairdo....easy exams....good grading....you have to work real hard to FAIL in this course....

This professor is hilarious at all times. Comes to class and makes us laugh the whole period. Material seems easy and always willing to help. He even does weightlifting!

yes, he is disorganized, but he is very clear in his teaching and true to his word about exams. exams are easy if you pay attention in class and DO THE HW (which is very little by the way). people who say he's a bad prof are stupid, it's an easy A if you try.

The best professor I've had so far. Intelligent and humorous. Class is entertaining and I enjoy going. Only a midterm and final and if you do the little homework, you'll do fine. I wish I needed more Stats classes so I could take him.

He's an excellent professor and knows what he's teaching really well. He's humorous in class and goes off on random tangents. Very rude to students tho. If you don't ask questions you should be fine because he degrades lots of people. His exams are like his few hw assignments. Study them and you'll be fine! Wears gross spandex pants! *eww!*

Professor Doran is a really nice professor who is always willing to help his students. In class, he covers the material well and he knows what he is talking about.

probably the nicest person you'll ever meet, and he's hilarious too. his class is too easy so its really easy to mess up your first final because its open notes and its the same thing that you do in class. You learn stuff too but you kinda have to "get it" yourself. I would take this guy again in a heart beat.

He curves alot. He always comes late to class and usually lets us out early. Most of the time he talks about random things. His grading system is mostly fair. We do not get that much work, however, it's only a midterm and a final.

Take him! He does struggle with showing up to class, but who cares? He is the clearest lecturer you will ever have, he writes very neatly, and exams are simply class examples with different numbers. You would have to try to do poorly. Very nice.

Awesome professor. Only grades are midterm and final, which are just like practice exams. No need to go to class or buy the book.

Generous grader, final and midterm, 60% your better grade, 88 for an A. If you go to class and sit near the front (so you can see the board) you'll do fine. And you don't need the book, he never even mentioned it, let alone assigned stuff from it

Judging on Professor Doran's looks, he is basically a clown. But he is one of the nicest and smartest guys I have ever had as a professor. He is very good at teaching the material, and is very helpful. The class is very laxed. GOod guy to have. I would take all my classes with Professor Doran if i could.

not that bad. if u ask questions he is quick to degrade people, so think before asking. just study the problem sets he hands out in class and u should be fine.

Can b a jerk at times! But he is very good @ what he does. Explains pblms. in detail but may try to throw u a curve ball on exams (not that bad tho) Good grader and decent curver! ASK QUESTIONS! b prepared for his sarcasm! Recommended.

Amazing professor. Got cut for next year do to the math department having their heads up their a$$es. Huge mistake. Rob is amazing. Keeps students interested by cracking jokes on Rutgers and Students, but usually the students deserve it for being stupid. AMAZING Professor. Highly recommended if they bring him back.

One of the best prof's I have ever had! He is an exceptional instructor and Rutgers has soooo many math instructors who are horrible! You may not appreciate him as a first/second year student but Prof. Doran is outstanding!

I had him during the summer and he was amazing!! Statistics is a very hard subject but he made it interesting and fun!! He gave review sheets before the exams!! Really wants students to do well!!! Highly recommended!!!

Amazing professor. I came to class because he made the material we had to learn interesting. The math department made an extremely foolish mistake by having him cut from the math department next year.

was the best math professor Rutgers had, bar none. Made class enjoyable, tough to get an A in his classes, but B/B+ is a piece of cake. If he's really gone, its a BIG mistake.

ok recitation teacher. He does teach things differently from the regular professor and he can get confusing. Also, if you have an early recitaTION YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE THERE ON TIME cause he never is. wants you to do well and also a little weird

by far one of the BEST math teacher's i've ever had. he was only my recitation teacher but whatever i didnt understand i knew i could count on him. his exam recitations are always 100% helpful; especially for the final. wish he could be a professor instead of a recitation teacher !

Only had him for recitation but he definitely should've been our precalc teacher. He has some strange quirks but all in all hes a good guy that wants his students to do well. Also, he knows he knows the course material very well.

oddball. not sure how he holds the chalk with such long fingernails, but he's really cool and fun and he makes the math really clear. Really approachable, willing to give up a lot of time for his students.

Looks like beetle juice and is really weird. I only had him for recitation and he is pretty helpful. Does different teaching from the professor, but it works for some people. Usually late if you have morning recitation so you dont have to be on time. He was helpful with the midterms so i recommend him.

Robbie D was one of the greatest professors i ever had a Rutgers. Not only was he a fantastic teacher, but he was funny and made the class interesting. In my years at Rutgers, his calc class was the only class i ever attended fully. Thanks Robbie D for making Calc enjoyable!!!

Probably the nicest person at Rutgers University. As a Teaching Assistant, he did everything within my power to help me succeed in the class. I would single-handedly attribute my B in the class to his willingness to help. No matter what the class is, if he is your T.A. for the class, TAKE IT!!!!

Dr. Doran is the most caring and concerned instructor I have come across. Dr. Doran is always willing to help his students and provides us with his home telephone number, which we can call him if we have math questions! He is very smart and really knows his math! It is because of Dr. Doran that I will take more math classes! A GREAT PROFESSOR!

rob is absolutely hilarious. not only does he have an amazing sense of humor, but hes a GREAT professor. hes more than willing to help and makes a lecture or over 100 feel like he is teaching on a personal level. BEST PROFESSOR AT RUTGERS. someone needs to give this man a raise.

He is a very funny guy and he hates Rutgers and has no problem showing it. He gives a lot of example problems that are almost identical to his exam problems and only has one real Hw assignment the entire semester. I think he is a great teacher, he made statistics interesting and easier to comprehend

Out of all the professors I've had at Rutgers, Dr. Doran was, by far, the best! Our teacher taught us very little during class and often made mistakes. Dr. Doran would correct the mistakes during recitation, otherwise no one would have passed! He's the best! Dr. Doran showed a genuine concern for the students and now Rutgers has gotten rid of him.

Greatest teacher ive ever had. Great to talk to. I am absolutlely awful at math and easy made it easy to understand and fun. Will help you with any thing and great to talk to in general. One of the smartest, funniest and smartest people ive had the pleasure of knowing. Amazing teacher. Great man.

By Far one of the best professors I've ever had. I currently attend NJIT and took him during the summer at my community college. He was the funiest pguy I've ever met, His lectures were very short and to the point. If you had any questions he would show you step by step. Never gave up on any student. Easiest A for a math class. TAKE HIM

He's a really funny guy. That being said, you can tell by the way he teaches that he is very intelligent. We're two weeks into the course, he has been very laid back with his teaching style thus far. He answers questions accurately. Overall, he's been one of my favorite CS professors from Rutgers thus far. Extremely humble and likable.
