One of my favourite profs. He is extremely knowledgeable and funny. He does not overwhelm you with work. Our class was graded through attendance, a paper proposal, a presentation (based on the paper proposal), providing feedback to classmates, a paper (based on the presentation), and a take-home final. Participation is a huge aspect of his class.

Rob is amazing! Very approachable and understanding. Funny guy and he's able to tell us personal stories about almost every video we watched. We were a bit apprehensive about a white man teaching a group of Indigenous students about our own history but I couldn't have hoped for anyone better. 10/10 would take him again.

I had to leave a review for Rob because trust me, you have to take his class. I've taken 5 classes with him all in the online format, and it's so relaxed and easy. 85+ is beyond doable as long as you can write decent forum posts that follow his criteria, and you hand in your stuff (book review, reflection, take home final). GOAT material.

good prof, information is mostly relevant except for his use of outdated and severely bias textbooks (mostly people just complaining instead of factual and meaningful information). Assignments are meaningful and related to the course, forums are amazing in his courses, and grading criteria is mostly clear.

LOTS OF WORK! You need to do lots and lots and lots of writing and reading. Even though it's an online class it is so time consuming. Professor Nestor is a pretty good marker, but it is hard to get back marks if you feel anything was unjustified.

Professor Nestor's SOC222 class is a breeze. As long as you complete the forums, paper, and take-home final, an A is easily achievable. Unstuck study and the textbook are great study aids too.
