Brother Stewart knows his stuff. Each class brings a new subject with class discussions or activities. He not only shares his knowledge, but personal experiences that relate to the topic. There are readings for almost every class with a journal entry, but it's not hard to get an A if you put in the effort. He's always willing to help you too.

Brother Stewart is a great teacher. He truly cares about each student and tries to get everyone involved. There is reading for the class but its not hard and the discussions in class are very helpful.

I have learned a lot! He provides a great mix of spiritual and secular learning. Take this class from him!

You have to read 2 books in his class so make sure to read those. They're easy to read but the Gottman book can get boring. Very professional and willing to answer questions. He cares about his students, one time I was gone from class and he sent me an email asking if everything was okay. Class is discussion based. He has guest speakers come.

Brother Stewart has been a great teacher to have this semester. He focuses a lot on discussions in class, so coming to class is a must. He encourages students to learn not only from him, but the text and other classmates and participation is necessary for not only a grade, but to get the most out of class. Assignments are worthwhile - not busy work

Brother Stewart is a great professor! Pretty specific with things which sometimes makes assignments harder than necessary, but overall a good experience taking his marriage class.

Such a great professor to take Marriage from! There are readings to do before each class, along with a reading journal activity. You have two tests--midterm and the final. There are assignments in between there which are fairly simple. Directions could be a little clearer, but if you ask in class, he explains it. I highly recommend Bro. Stewart!

No quizzes/tests which is nice. He grades really hard on attendance/participation. It is a very fun class & he knows what he is talking about. You do a lot of class discussion. An average amount of reading but it is a really easy A. You write a few essays which aren't hard. He cares about his students and is overall a nice guy.

He is a generally good teacher. He could talk a lot in class sometimes, especially at the beginning of class. He takes 15 minutes to say something that only needed 3 minutes. But that's really the main downside.

Brother Stewart is a great guy who knows a lot about his subject! He's a Pro. Lots of great class discussions. I would recommend him for marriage prep. I'm ready to get married now!

Brother Stewart is wonderful. I took this class simply to fill up some credits and it was a great blessing. He gives wonderful insights, and really wants you to succeed, so he will help the class out. There are some papers and tests, but nothing that isn't manageable with a busy schedule. There is a lot of reading, but I found it interesting so it wasn't too bad. He gives good feedback on your assignments and it's pretty easy to get an A in his class. The only big assignment was a project at the end of the semester, and he made it easier by checking up on your progress throughout the semester. He's awesome!

I love Brother Stewart! I took his marriage class and then was his TA for the next three semesters after that (for FAML 300, FAML 200, and FAML 160). He always shows care towards his students and wants them to succeed. His lectures are discussions where he gives everyone a chance to be involved, and the assignments are meaningful and enjoyable.

This professor is amazing! This was my first online class I took and it was so easy as long as I did my work on time and turned everything in. Brother Stewart is very good at communication, I would email him and get a response no longer then 30 minutes. I always got a response the same day, he truly cares about his students even though.

Robert Stewart was a good teacher when I took him. I think it is the right amount of work required for this kind of class and the material he teaches benefits me now and hopefully in the future when it comes to relationships.

This is by far one of my favorite professors that I've ever had. He is able to very clearly portray the material. He is very encouraging and kindhearted. He gives everyone the opportunity to speak. I've had a lot of teachers that make me feel dumb for my answer or seem annoyed at the questions I'm asking. Bro. Stewart is not like that at all.

Bro. Stewart is a great guy, but his class is a bit lacking. The lectures are sort of informative, but I didn't care for his textbook or reading quizzes. Every reading quiz seemed pointless. He has a big project that takes 8 hours. Overall, keep your head down and do your work, and you'll be fine. Don't expect your world to change.

You need to go to the class. But the reading isn't too bad, and I enjoyed the three projects we had on top of normal coursework. I think he is a really great and caring professor. You'll like him, I recommend that you take this class with him.

One of my favorite professors ever!! Very clear expectations. Great control of the classroom. If students talking too much annoys you, for sure take him. He has an amazing teaching style and does fun trivia for candy everyday. The info is super applicable and really interesting. Prep work and journaling required and no electronic rule.

Took his Prep for Marriage class, and it was just the best thing taking it from him. He's really good at teaching in a way that makes the class genuinely enjoyable. Even when you're having a bad day, you go to his class, and you just feel better. Very energetic, great example, you can tell he genuinely cares about you and wants you to succeed.

Brother Stewart is such an amazing teacher! The textbook for this class is How To Avoid Falling in Love with a Jerk, so it's more of an enjoyable read instead of a heavy textbook. There are no tests, no quizzes, and homework load is light and easy, and very enjoyable to do too. He is very kind, extremely understadning, and wants you to pass!

Otherwise, this class is full of class discussions, and it's imperative that you participate at least a few times in class every 1-2 weeks. That is also a grade.

You have one big paper that is a lit review. It is worth 100 points but he grades it super easily. For any of the assignments as long as you follow the rubric you will get a 100 on the assignment. This class was the best class I have ever taken! Phenomenal lectures and discussions. Truly feel like I learned so much without ever feeling stressed about the class. Very few assignments, no midterm, final, or quizzes. The only "big" assignment is a 4-page literature review, but he takes you through it step by step over like 5 weeks. Super easy

This class is very discussion heavy. There is one big project. He very kindly spreads it out over the first half of the semester to make it less overwhelming!! 110% recommend
