All you need to pass is his review sheets. If you take down all notes that he writes, you have all of the answers to the review sheets he hands out. It is so easy that you have to just never come to class to fail. The only thing is that you can't miss lab often, but you don't even have to come to lecture if you don't want.

This professor is the man! I am taking him for A and P 1, and next summer session for A and P 2. Attendance is not mandatory for lecture, but for lab it is. The best Anatomy and Physiology teacher in Bergen County. The labs are easy, u just have to look over ur notes. Dont use the textbook as much cuz the TEST is BASED on HIS NOTES. Take him, he is a very good professor.

ABSOLUTE BEST!! His tests are based on his notes and he goes over the study guide as well. He doesn't use the book. Lectures are not mandatory however LAB is. So don't miss that. In lab you just DO the lab. I recommend this guy to anyone taking A&P 1 & 2. Dr. Amitrano!

Very clear with his lectures. He gives you test reviews with the exact questions that will be on the test making this class very easy.you can actually just focus on learning and not memorizing for a test. The only thing is, if you want to really learn in his class, you have to push yourself to study (very tempting to just memorize the q&a on review sheet).

It's an easy A. Come to class, take notes, do the research paper, and study notes for tests. The tests are easy and he goes over the review at the end of lab and tells you all the answers. He gives you review sheets weeks before the exam and discusses it entirely. He's enthusiastic about the material and gets you excited about it. Absolutely wonderful semester with this guy!

Clear on what he wants from you, you do have to study. I took him in the summer. He makes the class bearable, and you learn a lot. Tests are not hard if you study his notes. Easy B, work a little bit and get the A. Take him. Don't miss class, he has really good notes. Nice, easy going, put he work in and you will be fine.

Dr. Amitrano is one of the best professors at BCC. He REALLY knows his stuff and gives great, detailed lectures. Although the material may not be the easiest, he gives clinical examples to help students learn. He takes attendance for both lecture and lab but doesn't count lecture attendance against you. Go to class and take notes, you'll get an A.

He hand writes lecture notes and give a clear study guide for the exams. He is super caring and makes an effort to make sure everyone understands the material. Amazing professor. He and another professor wrote the lab manual used for the course so you know he knows his stuff. He presents his lectures in a conversational manner so its easy to understand. He doesn't use a powerpoint and hand writes all his notes on the board. He provides review sheets for every test and goes over them. Study well to pass.

He's straightforward with grading. If you study the study guide for tests, you're going to get an A on every single one. Lecture attendance isn't mandatory but I recommend you go because his notes are gold. Lab attendance is mandatory. There is 1 take home test and the other 4 are in class. Really lenient, funny, understanding guy.

The MOST AMAZING teacher I have ever had. I go to a university in another state and no one compares to him. He is so friendly, and easy to understand. Professor Amitrano is extremely knowledgable in A&amp;P. He provides amazing and enthusiastic lectures which have some sprinkled in dry humor. There was one research paper, which is an easy A as long as you complete it on time with all of the requirements. Tests were 70 multiple choice questions - if you complete the study guide, you will get an A.

we did write a lot but every single thing on the review is on the exams he doesn't do tricks or anything. he literally gives you a review that is basically the exams. he gives all multiple choice. lab quizzes couldn't be easier and. we had one research paper that he gave at beginning and it was due 2 months after. overall easy A

This teacher knows how to teach. He has a lot of knowledge. He's so knowledgeable he doesn't even need a power point or notes to read from. He pulls directly from memory, and even then, organizes the information well on the board. Do his study guide, you pass, and he even goes over the study guide.

Attendance for this class is definitely recommended to do well and material isn't hard if you to study. What is on the study guide is on the test don't panic thinking there is more to learn!! Took him for both anatomy 1 and 2. He obviously loves his job which shows through in his lectures. He gives you all the info to get an A on his test , you just have to study.

Professor Amitrano is the best professor BCC has. Truly passionate at what he teaches. His ultimate goal is to have student learn material. Lectures are fun and informative. Nicest and most caring professor to top it off. His class is always filled with students. If you're trying to take him make sure you do it early because his classes fill fast.

Dr. A is the real deal. Unlike other A&P Professors who depend upon pre-printed notes or PowerPoint presentations, Dr. A presents old style lectures with handwritten notes on the board. It may be old fashioned but it works. Plus his cutting edge up to date healthcare knowledge is unparalleled. He'll train you to "think outside the box". Take him!

one of my favorite professors ive had so far. genuinely cared about the students and had connections with each. very straight forward onto whats going to be on the exam, so no trick questions. you can tell he just wanted his students to do well and his lectures were very entertaining and informative, i learned so much

The best professor I've had in my 5 semesters at Bergen. Dr. Amitrano has an incredible connection with the students. He makes review videos for the exams and sends you the review questions. If you watch the videos and answer the questions, the exams are literally a breeze. Don't hesitate to take his class.

Literally the best professor I have taken at Bergen. Lectures are great; he doesn't teach by PowerPoints or slide shows, just note-taking, which is the best way to learn. He does have little rants in between lectures (as stated in prev review from a hater) but they are honestly to open your mind and very interesting. Just show up and take notes.

Professor Amitrano is a great educator and is very helpful in every aspect. He truly wants his students to succeed and has no trouble helping them. This class is very lecture heavy but he doesn't read off slides which is good. The tests and relatively easy with study guides provided. If you study you'll easily get a A+. Definitely recommend.

Dr. A not only knows how to properly teach but he possesses a treasure trove of up to date health care knowledge. The info he shares can be substantiated from peer reviewed publications. He has two goals: 1. to educate and not indoctrinate, and 2. to get you to &#8220;think outside the box&#8221;. Dr A. is kind to and respectful of his students. Take him!

one of the best professors I've ever taken. actually retained a lot of info. makes class fun and easy and respects that students need to get through class really zeros in and focuses on what matters. def recommend, the actual best studying pays off and it can be a lot of info at times but its worth it.
