He is a nice man, and understanding. Lectures are alright, although he has tendency to go on rants. He is a generous grader, and wants to pass everyone. Two exams, and two papers, not difficult if read all the material.

He can be boring but a great prof. Your writings can def. improve if you have him. (no tests just essays and a research paper.)

Really nice professor.... likes students to be opiniated and likes a student who makes far out analysis of opinions. He a nice guy and a fair grader i would highly recommend him..... really really nice.

bove is really cool. he is a fair grader and does not make the class hard for the students. the grade is based solely on essays written at home and a research paper(final). people tend to think he is boring, but i didnt really think so.

Good English teacher. Very nice guy, lenient. Helps you how to prepare papers and essays. Can be boring and go off tangent with lectures, but is an easy B, atleast if you show up and put effort in your essays.

He's a cool guy. Just write essays and watch videos. He gets a bit off topic if he has a good book to read but it's okay it shows he has some inteligence. Highly recommended cuz you can do crap work and get B+ at least

He is great. He can go off of topics a bit, but he's got some amazing stories if you listen carefully, also, the reads are pretty easy, not much HW, and 2 in class essays, and 2 papers. Let us write final at home and take it back to class! Also, very nice

BEST Prof for Lit course. Very Easy!3w just watch movies all classes.. read your bk, listen to him talk abt that bk n that's it.. u have to write some papers, but topics r given in advance so that u can prepare.

Very easy, wants to give A's to all students. Weekly assignments but he gives you good grades on all. His lectures have nothing to do with english though, more about philosophy

A great man, extremely smart and well versed. He is an actual author and has written a book. He does go off topic alot. Daily work is easy but that final paper is tough. He makes himself very available to help out students.

Really great teacher! I was a little nervous when I registered because I have not taken english in a long time but he made it simple. Looks like I will be getting an A to boost my GPA. Recommend highly!

Great professor!! He doesn't really assign H.W., just journal entries, which serve as references for the essays on the tests, so they're for your own benefits. He's one of the best prof. at Pace. Take him and you'll actually leave the class having learned something.

Bove is a great prof. He really understands his students. Very knowledgeable and helpful. He is so calm and laid back. Thats how he is. Taking him for ENG class definitely boosetd my confidence in writing. Would take him again. Easy grader if you do the work he gives which is very little. TAKE HIM

Excellent prof. take his class if you want an A. There are only 3 easy essays in the entire semester and no homework. Just show up to class and do the essays.He is an easy grader and even lets you do your worst essay over. Classes end really early more than half the time. Take his class!

easy class. laidback professor. think there were only 4 essays, 2 inclass and 2 take home. inclass essays he lets you bring in outlines. don't hand in detailed outlines. he'll take points off.

Great guy. One class he gives you the assignment, next class you hand it in, next class he hands it back and as long as you made all the corrections he'll give you a 10(highest). All the papers were on past experiences, which made it so easy.

best teacher ever!! he taught me so much and his random topics are useful and expands your knowledge, plus it made class fun and interesting. you need to get him to really enjoy the class. He's fair, willing to help, sarcastic, but overall great!

Pretty simple class, especially if you follow the syllabus. He assigns a paper, you do it, make corrections and that's it. We spend most of the class talking (he does tend to ramble) but it's a pretty mellow class. Don't stress about the first draft of his papers and definitely buy the text.

Great Professor. Really nice guy. Lets you redo your worst paper. Doesn't assign a lot of work and goes through the syllabus. Took our class to the park when the weather was nice. He is really understanding for those who are not native English speakers.

Go to class to get the paper topics and just write the papers. He is very easygoing, very helpful and there is a relaxed feeling in the classroom. Very easygoing guy and an easy A if you do the work.

If you're looking to learn about how to write, you may not want this class. We wrote 4 papers all semester and the last one is just a re-write of one of the first three. Most of the the class is him rambling but it's somewhat interesting. He took us to the park when the weather warmed up!

Fantastic professor and an intelligent man. I didn't think to look up any of his writing while I had him, but you will really appreciate his feedback on your work once you've read his.

This class goes as you would expect. The key is to work harder on the rewrites than the first drafts and go to class. He is a nice guy, so its easy to follow his tips.

Excellent Professor! He explains everything clearly. You get to do every paper twice. This man has some really good stories and likes to take walks with the class.

EASY A! He is the most friendliest and easy going professors out there. If you are looking for a quick, no thinking necessary class, can even skip if you want, then this is the class for you. Very lenient with work and papers. Easy grader but explains in a productive way how to make your paper better. Take him!

Literally the NICEST guy in the world. His class is the EASIEST class I have ever taken. Literally, you just read the stories at your pace, then write the papers and submit them on time. EASY EASY EASY and such a nice man.

Super easy grader and great guy, gets of topic real easy and the classes can be a complete waste of time after getting your topic, but probably one of the easiest A's I've ever got.

Easy A! Talks a lot about random topics in class and that might be boring sometimes but he´s really nice, he´s clear and their essays are not complicated at all. We did walks in downtown manhattan :) very intelligent professor.

Such a nice man, he's very intelligent and passionate about what he does. He's also very clear on what he requires for his class, and the assignment aren't hard at all.

Show up to class, get the assignment and write about it. He's a pretty easy grader and you will get out of class early. Likes to take walks with students on nice days. Great professor highly recommended

There are only 4 papers given and they are all based on the short stories. The stories that he assignes are very interesting as well. Great and easy class , not a lot of work.

Very easy to do well in this class. He always let us out around an hour early and even took us on field trips to nature and to the Fulton Seaport just for the hell of it. He let's you rewrite all of the papers and tells you clearly what you have to do. No tests or quizzes or books.

Really nice guy, and very knowledgeable. 4 papers all semester, and they are all reflections of stories you read in class. Do not buy the textbook, you can print all the stories offline! He gets off topic a lot in class, but he always lets you out early. An easy class and great professor.

Easiest class ever

He is a real card. From the start of the class to the finish, he manages to make your abs hurt from laughter. He give an essay about 5 times the whole semester and gives you the chance to rewrite it if you didn't do so well. When he teaches, it seems like he isn't saying anything important but, if you really listen you'll see he's intelligent.

Prof Bove was awesome. Really smart and knowledgeable about different things. Gave great feedback and was very kind. He always lets you redo your rough draft, so really easy to do well.

He is a great professor, I really enjoyed taking his class. Bove is definitely one of the best professors at Pace. I had him for Composition and purposely had him again. He's a really easygoing guy who makes jokes all the time. There's only 4 essays the entire semester and they're so easy as long as you read the stories assigned. He's an easy grader and lets you rewrite papers if you need to. TAKE BOVE!!

ENG 110 is a super easy class with a chilled out and interesting professor. All you do is write a paper pretty much every two weeks, and the papers are easy to write. He always has something to talk about, and even though sometimes listening to him talk about bird watching can be boring at 9 am, you can't help but appreciate how passionate he is.

If you want an easy A take his class. You get a new paper assigned each week, very easy to write. No tests or homework assignments. He gets off topic fairly easy. The class may get a little boring at times, but he's a really sweet old man, you learn allot from him. He's very easy to talk to.

Prof. Bove is such a gem. ENG110 only requires 6 drafts and 6 final papers. They're all simple. He gives you a prompt and you write two pages. Class is relaxed and he always lets you out early. Personally, I love his tangents but it can be seen as boring from other students. But, who cares? Prof. Bove is amazing and I would love to take him again.

Love this class, super laid back. 6 papers, two pages each. He gives you the prompt for the paper and you just dip class after. Very respected and kind man. Easy A.
