Went to class twice the entire semester, made B's on first two tests. Don't buy the textbook, waste of money, but the book he assigns for the exam is interesting. Gives you the exam (review) a week before the actual test, no way you can fail, if you do you just didn't study.

He is very flamboyant, but it is effective. Go to class. You will remember his stories. If you prefer reading, you'll still do fine if you just read the book and skip class. All exams were either short answer or essay. Even if you don't know the answer, write something (true for most classes).

Dr. Buzz is the best teacher I've had in a long time. He keeps you interested from start to finish. I recommend going to every class b/c he covers alot of material at a fast pace. But his lectures flow and are very clear. There is a lot of reading and you prepare days for his tests, just take notes, read, go to class and you'll be fine.

LIES ALL LIES... this class is horrible. You have TA's that think that they are professors that grade as if they are experts on the subject. All the test are short answer/essays with only a little over an hour to complete! If you can help it take history at a community college cause all the work you have to do in this class is just not worth it!!!

His lectures are interesting, but his tests are kinda hard. ID terms and two essays. It's a lot of work. If you like to take notes in class and read a lot then this is your cup of tea. If your not then got with a teacher who does multiple choice with tests. I thought my TA graded unfairly. :( But there is a lot of extra credit chances.

Dr. Buzzanco has been around UH for quite sometime. He wrote the textbook so his lectures follow the book precisely. The only required assignments are four exams, which were term ID and short answer. Attendance is not necessary to pass the class as long as you study a bit the night before. He gives you the questions beforehand. Great professor.

Would take again

Grade is three tests, where you get to pick what parts you want to answer, with the final being worth 150%. Boring lectures, he wears cool fits, the TAs are easy graders (the lowest grade I got was a 90). If you study the day before an exam with the notes sent out, you'll be alright.
